Pretty disorganised. I tried to find a product at another Big W store (Brickworks) and was informed that the product was in stock here instead. There's no phone number to contact the store directly any more (just one of those awful 1300 numbers that has you speaking to a robot), so couldn't call to check that the item was available for sure. Staff at Brickworks urged me to use click and collect instead because "it will be faster" - how is waiting another day and having to make a second trip to a store faster than just being able to call the store directly and pick the item up on my way home? This sort of thing is why online is killing retail already. If you're going to have a physical storefront, don't make it difficult to actually speak to a person.

The store itself has a good range at reasonable prices. However the staff aren't on the same page and I got so many different answers to the same question regarding stock that I gave up and got the answers I needed from the Cumberland Park store. They have serious staff problems at Kilkenny. One example, I argued with a girl on staff about the store being at Arndale shopping centre to which she said that Big W have never had a store are Arndale!! I told her I was in the store the day before and she said it was impossible, I must have been confused and hung up on me when I asked for her name. The Kilkenny website is also in need of a major makeover as like the staff, it didn't really know what's going on. Total shambles.

The sign although large enough, still not a clear indication of where certain items could be found. I did an entire lap of the store before finding manchester. I was also approached by two other customers asking me questions as to where the change rooms are and have I seen stationary items. This I assume was due to lack of staff. Needless to say, I couldn't help when it came to the change rooms as I too ended up trying on items over my clothes in front of the only mirror I could find in the clothing department. Not well set out at all, appeared messy from lazy customers putting things back in the wrong place and seemingly too much going on to enjoy shopping. I left after feeling frustrated and uninspired

Just went back after previous lousy experience where I gave 2 stars. I was looking for a particular Bluey Toy for my nephew- service desk/layby counter lady had to call for assistance from the toy dept 3 times over 20 mins. A guy finally came and told me they didn't make the figurine I was looking for. When I showed him a pic from their website, he told me "if the figurine wasn't down the aisle I was standing in they wouldn't have it"- when I'd found other figurines from the same series in 2 different places in the store b4 asking for help. I hate liars & incompetence so the one star is for the nice lady on the service desk who continually asked for someone to come help me. I'll never go back there!!!

Big W Kilkenny is not bad store just let themselves down I getting rid of the garden section the small section of garden section lets them down it's ok for some things what let's down Big W could be the first store to really look after the big men's range of clothes bring some in better why do big people have to miss out on great clothes and great designs just because they're big we don't mind paying more money for our clothes if we are getting the same designs clothes as the same men a sample of ACDC shirts only go to extra large what a shame that's why you should change your style clothes and stop making us feel like we can't buy clothes you sell conference

Pretty poor customer service purchased a packet of 5 kids jocks 10/12 for my son who is on the autism spectrum, when got them home son wouldn't even look at them because they weren't the brand he's used to. Tried to return in under 14 days with a receipt in the sealed packet that it came in I was told because their underwear they would not exchange or refund at all, even though could clearly see packaging had not been opened. I said open and inspect them they wouldn't even try to open them to confirm that they hadn't been removed from packaging prior or worn.

The next time your EFTPOS machines are out how about you useless bunch use your brains and let customers know while they’re waiting in line! Or better yet…. At the entrance! Announce over the PA, Put signs up, tell people that EFTPOS is down across the store. Stop standing around with your hands in your pockets gasbagging! Bunch of nitwits with ZERO consideration or customer service skills. It is simple- “ hello customers, please be aware our EFTPOS machines are down currently and we can only accept cash, we apologise for any inconvenience” Morons.

The woman at the front entrance likes to chat to certain customers while ignoring others that come in. She has NEVER greeted me, even with a smile, in years yet I have seen her greet others ahead and behind me. Is she repulsed by 66 year old men? Even when they have two grandchildren with them? This is supposed to be a family store so get a store greeter that treats everyone the same and doesn't discriminate or greet and chat only to her favourites. And get a greeter of similar middle age who doesn't pathetically doll herself up!

Stock is very limited. A lot of the things I was looking for they didn't sell and seem to be seasonal according to one of the staff members. Prices are a bit steep, not what I would expect as it's not a higher end department store. I can never find what I'm looking for but I always come back thinking they would surely sell this, but they don't. Stock seems to be all over the place. They have 2 spots in completely different locations for a lindt brush, which I found weird. Staff aren't helpful, some are friendly some are not.

Not just another Big W — this one has great photo staff who still develop and print film photographs. I've had about 10 rolls developed here, maybe more, all for a great price. The film is developed not to a professional studio standard but to the same standard you would get at a family owned camera store. My only regret at this stage is not having utilised their scanning service, which is to say you can pay a little extra and get all your developed pictures on CD.

Never thought I would see such blatant racism in front of me In the self serve check out an Indian lady needed assistance at the check out The server not only saw she needed help but left her waiting and then walked past her to another individual who had come after her She ended up having to help herself and was provided no assistance Such grounds should be instant dissmissal disgusting behaviour. Lady was of larger body type with short cut hair.

Very bad service and very rude crew in there. I purchased a mountain bike with built in from big w Kilkenny. They said i can pick it up after 3/4 days. When i called them to ask if it’s ready or not, the first thing is bike wasn’t ready yet and one of lady was very rude she didn’t answer me properly. I still didn’t got my bike. Such a worst experience i have ever felt. Very poor and disgusting place as well people.

Rang this Store ..... BW KILKENNY, & I spoke to a Young Girl, halfway through my Explaining my Request, she Yells out to Another staff Member, & I Hear an Asian Woman Speaking Rapidly then immediately she Rambling to me what you want. I found her to be Rushing me & Trying to talking over me. Horrible Experience. Very unprofessional Customer Service.to me Very direct & Rudly

Very good experience at Big W Arndale. Accurate and friendly directions at the front door by a lady with long black straight hair and tattoo on the wrist / forearm (should have got her name). At the self serve check out I was helped by a nice lady called Michelle. She helped me pack my items and sent me off with a smile. Great staff and customer service. Thanks ladies :)

Big w kilkenny is in the arndale shopping centre in Adelaides innerwest. Friendly staff with a smile. Huge garden centre with a big range of in season plants and seedlings aswell as gardening accessories. Home cleaning products at better prices than th supermarket. As well as a large array of clothing, outdoors , homewares, electronics and toys to suit the whole family.

Bunch of senile losers working here. I also work in retail so can sympathise with feeling run down, however i’d never impose my feelings on a customer who has not wronged me. Legit don’t understand why people choose to work in retail when they lack basic human decency. Never coming back here again, such a weird and uncomfortable environment to shop in.

Also provides Laybys and 24hr Holds.

Bit confusing click and collect. Followed all the online procedures but nothing happened until another customer rang the doorbell (despite it saying just to wait in the pick up bay on the instructions), then the attendant wasn't too friendly and I had to wait a fair while to receive one small item.

What's the point of booking a time for direct to boot if you have to wait a ridiculous amount of time to be served Why bother notifying the store that you're on your way if no one does anything about it? So poor. This is the second and last time I'll ever shop here. The worst. Avoid.

Your staff Jan at the self check out doesn’t know how to assist customers at all. Instead of wasting everyone’s time at the check out watching her playing with the self check out machine, how about train her properly about customer service and some manners?

Great range of products the choice of different brands and well placed sections. This is my preferred department store in my opinion much better than the mass produced cheaply built one choice department stores that plagues almost every shopping center

Still good, (getting clothes etc).. All Ways support human, (don't go through, automated checkouts). Seasonal stuff typ got good pricing. STAFF, always been very helpful/friendly finding stuff, etc in store. A welcome store in shopping centre.

My closest Big W, but I had to walk around and around, keeping to the left of all the shops until I finally got to it! The last shop at the end of the mall.Only to buy 2 pairs of shoes. Don't bother unless you've got your skates on!!

Great shopping mall. Was bigger decades ago. Even had a double storey back then. Unfortunately it doesn't know. Shame tho. Very clean. So credit to cleaners for that. Alot of none working people hang around there. Which I don't like.

I shop there a lot & Feels like a senior store, most of the staff are over 50s and grumpy and they not happy to help & assist you , the guy at the desk didn't even know what is afterpay! I mean c'mon! Also stocks are very limited.

Good Big W store. One of the bigger ones with a good selection. Good prices and range of goods. Definitely worth having a look. They also have on on-site Big W Optical, so you can get your eyes checked while you are there.

You know it's BIG W, but I was unable to try any clothing as the fitting rooms were closed. Truth is that the lady's response when I asked is what led me to give 3 stars, arrogant and unfriendly to say the least...

Great place to find almost anything you need for the home and personal care. The layout is wheelchair friendly and the staff are fantastic. They have a wonderful range of clothing and accessories.

Don't bother calling up the store they don't ever answer and when they do you get transferred and then call ends. Says they have stock and nothing there when you arrive so try and call to check

Don't usually shop here, but hubby had a Father's day gift card for big W. Very impressed with the Large store and friendly staff. Went to Woolies too. Very big supermarket.

Good selection and variety. Helpful staff and many "specials" on sale which Woolworths don't have available. If you want cosmetics and usually buy at Woolworths try Big W.

A wide variety of clothing and items for the home, including a great selection of sweets and chocolates. Toys and accessories in general are abundant, great place to shop.

Not one person on a pay counter available for those of us that don't use the self system. Staff that did help, pretty much did it for me anyway. All I did was tap a card.

The manager at the service desk was kind, respectful and helpful with a difficult situation. She was empathetic and went above and beyond to help.
