My experience of this place well my partner and I were staying on a grass site with our tent we had been here for just over 2 weeks. now on the final day of our stay we went out shopping only to arrive back to our tent to find a hole in the side of it after investigating and looking on the out side of the tent we found a plastic object sitting on the out side of our tent directly below the hole that has occured when looking on the grass out side our tent we have come across a pair of secateurs that were very damaged and the handle we had come across near the hole in the tent that was the handle from the secateurs. The lawns around our tent had been cut and the object was clearly from the grounds keepers. We went down to inform reception of this and what had happened but all they wanted to tell us was this is only our accusation and that is all it is and unless the grounds keepers admit to this then there is nothing that can be done. I find it completely wrong. anyone to run over something with a lawn mower knows that sound and can hear that they have just run something over it is a case of grounds keepers that do not want to report this matter and are careless towards there job and have no care towards the people's tent they have just ruined. If they were honest and took there job seriously instead of denying this has occurred and now my partner and I without the tent we purchased only a few weeks ago brand new from anaconda things could have been rectified and we could have been reimbursed for this under parks insurance or something along that line. To anyone willing to come here be observant towards your tents swags even caravans

WI-FI may as well not be connected. Why is it so hard to get wifi in a caravan Park??? At worst it interferes with your mobile data so you have to switch wifi off. At best your device simply doesn't register there is any wifi so carries on a normal on mobile data. This meant that we couldn't have our movie nights we'd planned. The movie that was put on by the park was impossible to hear so we gave up on that too. We stayed in a Larry lobster cabin - it's very nice and was spotlessly clean. The couch and beds were comfy. The pool was just warm enough to be able to get into however my skinny 8yo was still freezing within 15 minutes. I'm sure I read that it was heated to 28°, I don't think it was while we were there. It's a very big park (especially if you're right siren one end like we were) and you have to leave the park to buy food so bear this in mind if you have younger children. My kids had a great time on the bouncy pillow and in the pool and it was nice to be at a beachside caravan Park where the beach is actually close by and not still a 20 minute trek. Overall I'm grateful that my middle child refused to come because there would have been a meltdown over the lack of wifi given it said there is wifi. I don't think we'd stay here again as we live in Adelaide so really we want the park itself to be entertaining. I think I'd go to the one next door next time because it has waterslides... It was nice to have a short get away with 2 of my kids before one moves away.

Was really disappointed with our stay from start to finish. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady and started great but then quickly went down hill from there as she asked us how many cars we had I replied with 3 as there was 5 of us staying on a powered site. We were then told we could only take one car in per site, she also said that we would have to unload one car first then come out the front where we had to leave the other cars to unloaded our stuff to take the rest of it in. This was not stated on check in info nor the website that we were not allowed to have all our cars inside the park. After waiting 15 minutes for the others to arrive we then finished our check in with other lady who told us that we could go in with all our cars to unload but 2 cars had to stay outside. I then said to her that the other lady that served us first told us were had to unload out the front. She apologised and said we could go in just to unload our stuff. Come late Saturday afternoon unfortunately due to the storm we lost a nights accommodation as both our tents where destroyed in the storm. We then decided to pack up what we had left as we had no choice but to go home. West beach parks did not offer anyone alternative accommodation for the night nor did they offer a part refund or a credit for another stay. I know you can’t help the weather but I know of after parks that tried there best to accommodate there customers and West Beach parks did not seem to care whatsoever.

A great little getaway with your family. Variety of room options to choose from or bring your caravan too. Plenty of activities to do and all the facilities are just enough. Great for all ages. Gets busy and packed during those school holidays so get in quick if interested. Staff are really lovely and easy to talk to. Very easy transaction, no hidden fees or complicated issues. Simple key handling and exiting. Easy navigation around the park. The available amenities are neat, tidy and up to standard cleanliness. BBQ is situated close and between cabins for each area to use. Cleanliness of rooms are ok and decent. Quiet, safe and secure. The location is great, you are close by to shops and fast food if need, also close to the city. It is good for when you want a getaway with your fam and children and not wanting to go somewhere too far. OR if you are outside of this, this is also great for you too of course. They have heaps of locations. Big4 has another connect location - that is pretty much not far off from it. Literally same road or something. Also great. I would rate the same. However one is more modern and updated than the other, but still great at both. They have a cinema outdoor session where everyone can join to watch at a certain time with the latest movies each night. This is pretty cool. So bring and pack to be comfortable. Chairs, blankets, pillows, snacks ect. They do have a snack van too.

Disappointing. This park felt like a let down from the get go. We arrived and checked in at 4.30pm on a Saturday, set up our van and then headed out to the supermarket. Turns out in Adelaide these shut at 5pm on the weekend ? I feel like this is very helpful information to give to interstate travelers when checking in. The toilets were all broken in some way or another (locks / lids/ holders) and were filthy all day every day. They are cleaned once per day , first thing in the morning but with so many visitors it’s impossible for one clean to be enough . The park has lots of recreational options for kids , but for a park this size there is no where near enough, and all are a huge walk away if your site is not central . The pool and jumping pillow were packed from the The minute they open until the minute they close. The movie every night is not always family friendly (which wouldn’t be an issue except that in 5 days we were there every movie was m15 so unfortunately couldn’t enjoy this even though we were all excited for this ! there is no way to tell before you lugg your chair and family down to the start of the movie.

Also a note to be aware of (as I didn’t realise when booking) the Adelaide airport is practically in the car port so it’s very noisy from sun up to sun down ..

I have stayed at this park a number of times and this would be my least favourite experience. We were unfortunately in a Norfolk cabin on the Military road side which I DO NOT recommend. A strip obviously known for hoon speeding, loud thumping music, motorbikes, burnouts etc. our fourth night we notified the police. Given the high cost of staying in the park, consideration should be given to investing in a more appropriate fence then the wire one currently in place, not only as a sound barrier, but a safety barrier too! Not great for $300/night and wanting a decent sleep! The pool closed 5 separate times due to toilet accidents out of the 5 days we were here, with it closing 3 times in one day. If you have un toilet trained children- remember a swim nappy and nappy pants- no one likes swimming with floaters! Ohh and also, BYO face cloths, strangely, these are no longer supplied as part of bath towels. I would consider this a basic item given the cabin cost $300/night! The safety belt on the baby swing was broken- disappointing given it’s peak season. The sms notification system is intuitive and well thought out. Onsite Security has increased too. Not sure I would be keen to re-visit.

  • Laura Fullick

Pretty disappointed overall with my experience at this park. Currently travelling Australia in our car + rooftop tent, with another couple also in the same set up, and asked when we were checking in if we could put 2 cars on the same site as we didn’t need the space of 2 sites. We were advised that it is ‘park policy’ that only 1 car is allowed per site, which seems rather silly as I do not see much difference between 2 cars and a car and a caravan. Upon walking around the park, it is evident that quite a few groups have more than one car on their site so it seems like they just wanted to get as much money as possible. Facilities aren’t in the best working order - 2/4 washing machines in the closest laundry weren’t available and 3/4 weren’t working in the next one over - along with terrible water pressure in the bathrooms. And $5 for a load of washing is a massive rip off for the park fee. I can understand why this park is great for families but travellers with no kids, find somewhere else and save your money.

Would well and truly recommend this place. We had a 5 night stay and this park well and truly met our needs. Nice and close to the airport and far enough away from the CBD that the hustle and bustle are near non existent. Except for the park being demolished (which we were made aware of well before arrival) that was the only let down. The kids were still well amused with the 2 jumping pillows, beach just out the gates and pool. Although i do wish the pools on both sides were hated to the same heat. Only downfalls were the bed was a bit hard for my liking BUT that comes down to personal comfort and feeling and the airport being so close but because of the airport curfew it doesn’t overly bother you much. All in all a great park. If i done another trip to Adelaide would definitely stay here again.

Sadly no one can control to the weather. But customer service went out the window with the storm. We were meant to stay 2 nights but due to the storm we were forced to pack up and go home. Upon the aftermath no on site employees were seen to make sure those staying in the park were okay or safe from the aftermath . After several peoples including our tent fell. some people struggling to get out. No one came to check if anyone was okay which was very sad to see as several cars and people’s property/belongings left ruined and drenched or broken. As we checked out there was no guest welfare check or an other options such a part refund or a credit for those who could not stay due to nothing being dry. Young children staying at the park did more of a welfare and safety check asking if people needed help or if they were simply okay. Then anyone on site that was rostered on that day.

Although this is a beautiful park overall we were bitterly disappointed in our recent stay in one of your “budget” cabins which we rated as an “under budget cabin” for $169 per night we were so disappointed in having to go outside to use the amenities in the rain which had ants in them as well as in the cabin itself. I assume children had written all over the underside of the bunks. The cabin itself felt as though it was leaning to one end. Looking at the other cabins within your park (which looked very nice) this one was no comparison. The electric stove was disgusting and rusted and the down pipes were hanging off. The beds were very uncomfortable that squeaked every time you sat on them. We strongly believe that these need to be demolished as we know they were not up to Big 4 standards. Very disappointed for $169 a night!!

  • Dennis Bareis

No kids, so don't care about jumping pillows and similar. Would be great if you had kids though, there are plenty of friends running around. It is expensive but then it's close to Adelaide... However expensive and lack of maintenance is another thing, most of their washing machines don't work and nothing appears to being done to fix this. Their showers are also amongst the worst I have experienced as the hot water is very low pressure so a gusher shower head is basically a dribbler. Also there are no NRV so if you turn the cold on to a normally reasonable amount, you can expect the hot water pipes to fill up with cold water which I would assume would confuse most people trying to adjust the taps for a desirable temperature.

This is the 4th time we have stayed as a family of 5 at the park. We have stayed in both sides retreat and park and I became a big 4 member last stay, worth the money with discount on accommodation and late check out today!! We stayed in a 2bdr beach house cabin (my favourite so far) this stay for my daughters birthday absolutely amazing! The cabin was equipped with everything to make our stay quite comfortable, very beautiful looking cabin. The vibe in the park during school holidays was fantastic, had a few food trucks, live music, movies, free sausage sizzle and more. I have 3 children on the spectrum and the sensory room provided in this park they love and need it so much to make their stay regulated! Thank you again Big 4 :) until next time.

Fantadtic park, very secure, we had a caravan site with concrete pad, the amenities were always clean, heated pool in winter, small gym, kids activity room, 1 minute & your feet are in the sand. A bus stop out front to ride you into town, 2 onsite cafes, alcohol for sale, coin & card swipe washing machines. 40 minute walk to eithe Henley or Glenelg Beach. A great park, and only 10 minutes to the airport.

This park is amazing. The powered site we were allocated was a big grassy site and close to everything. The amenities were clean and tidy with daily cleaning time slots so you knew when they were there and to attend another amenity block. The staff were very helpful, check in was a breeze and we were set up exploring the park in no time. The pool and splash park were a big hit with our 2 girls and of course the jumping pillows has playgrounds. We didn’t need to use the camp kitchen on this trip but they looked big and equiped with everything you need to serve up breakfast, lunch or dinner. All the park guests we were in close proximity to were respectful and courteous and everyone adhered to the rules. We will be back for sure

A great caravan park with all the facilities that you would expect from a decent sized big 4 caravan park. The showers and toilets were clean and heaps of activities for the kids. The kiosk didn't have the hours written outside which made getting a morning coffee a little confusing but the shop at the main gate served as a good alternative. Our kids wanted to play mini golf and we walked to the corner of the park but no exit gate so we had to go all the way back to reception and leave via the main gate. It would be really useful for a pedestrian gate on the corner for access to mini golf and the adventure park. All in all though a great place to stay

I left my big $55 water bottle under the table im becon 3 i live local so i rang up as soon as i noticed my wife didnt pack it. They sais sorry we haven’t cleaned the room yet and will contact me as soon as they do. But they never did so i rang again the next day. Still didnt clean the room. So i went there and they contacted lost and found and they said they emailed me saying it wasnt there. This is not true they dont even have my email address. And i know it was there i have a witness. So i guess someone stole it. I will be following this up with sapol. I highly recommend you make sure you take all your belongings as a thief works there.

The caravan park is a beautiful setup and you can see more and facilities are being upgraded. The best location for caravans would be right in the middle next to the pool. The service was terrific we moved from a eco tent to a basic cabin due to the little one being to cold. The team helped us out. It’s right next to the air port and the road outside the park becomes a raceway at night which js very noisy. So best to get as far back to the beach if want peace. The planes do stop at 11 pm and you do get used to the sound hahaa. The location is tops right next to Glenelg and Henley beach and quick access the city.

Love this Big4 Caravan park. Amazing location right on the beach. Great range of accommodation. Clean. Friendly staff. Amazing amenities. Lots of activities for the kids. The biggest disappointment is the wood chips installed in the playground areas, not easy for kids or adults to walk on, not safe for toddlers especially. Most parents I met agreed. I have have to take my 15mth old grandson out of the caravan park to visit other playgrounds. Which is a bummer. Theused to have the safety tar, not sure why they would put wood chips in the playgrounds???

  • Aaron Az

Great place to relax, plenty of options to stay there. Children of all ages have a great time and meet new friends. It's so nice meeting new friends that have some stories to tell, just great vibes all round. The price is perfect for families. It is a calming place to get away from the rat race, when you don't really want to put family through a long trip north or south of Adelaide. Definately a destination spot for a trip around Oz. Facilities are spot on for what is needed to relax and un-wined. Swimming pool was perfect for the warmer days.

  • Adrian “The Big A” smitham

The cabin we stayed in was stocked with simple supplies, like cooking utensils, towels, soup, cleaning products, bedding and more. The staff were friendly and the quick access to the beach was so nice. My friends and I stayed there for a few days and would do it again. The children facilities were clean and had lots to offer. The bike hire was a bit pricey and that was annoying. But overall not bad. Additionally, my friends and I were a bit loud on our first night and the staff were really polite when dealing with us. Overall, really nice stay

  • A J

Large park close to city - unfortunately their huge price increase (44%) for a long weekend is a rip off - I know staff have to be looked after but an extra $20 per night for a site is ridiculous - I'm willing to bet the majority of this increase goes straight into management's pocket and not towards the deserving staff...... hopefully they put it towards updating the outdated amenity blocks - maybe start by fixing all the leaking taps ....

Large park lots of amenities for families, great pool etc, the park was very clean and well maintained additionally the park is right on the water and there is a fantastic walk that suits all age groups outside of the park grounds along the water front, we used a cabin this visit which was good but have also stayed with our van, plenty of sites available. The staff were very helpful as we had family visiting daily. Also the park is only 20min to town, 10min to Glenelg Beach etc, etc. Well worth a look as a place to stay.

  • stephen08ism

Great place and location., very close to the beach and tourist spots. Lots of thing to do including the playground, pool and splash zone. There is also a gym which not all caravan parks has. The cabin where we stayed at was a bit old but still you can see that they did some updating in the kitchen and flooring. The staff @ the reception where really nice and always had a smile in their face while serving guests. Special shoutout to Chelsea in the reception who helped me change my booking that turned our stay even better

  • George Galdin

Have been travelling around Australia for years and stayed at lots of caravan parks and his would have to be the best park I've stayed at. The parks facilities and daily activities give it an almost festival atmosphere. The cafes are brilliant and the pool is excellent. This is a true family park that caters for all. The price is amazing. The week prior we were paying $200 a night on the great ocean road for a simple site and here is a 3rd of the price. Amazing and will return when we come though Adelaide again

  • Bushman In the bush

Wow what an awesome holiday park. Right on the beach at West Beach in Sth Australia. Awesome park, staff were really genuine and friendly. The amenities are amazing, highly recommend for singles to families and everyone in between. I'll definately be coming back.

We haven’t stayed at a BIG 4 before but heard great things. You can book a cabin, van site and it has great facilities for families - pool, jumping pillow. There’s also an on site kiosk, cafe and even food and cocktail van. It gated so safe for families. Rooms are sufficient, but price is too high for their condition. Quite old. Our room had an ant problem. Would be great to have some bathroom products to use. Note there is a gym, but bikes and rowers do not work. They need updating.

  • Nicole C

We stayed for a week recently, not from SA and didn’t check the map before I booked but due to the proximity to the airport we wouldn’t stay again. Being woken up at 6.12am every day which flights was not enjoyable. The female showers in block 2 had the worst water pressure and almost not worth showering - every time we were in there that was the talk you heard from disappointed campers. Great facilities such as pool, jumping pillow, access to the beach etc but showers are important.

  • Dave D

Excellent park. Throughly enjoying it. Friendly staff. Clean amenities. Close to the beach and Glenelg. Very good value as compared to the most similar park I can compare in WA, Mandalay in Busselton, which at this time of year (Xmas/NYE) is significantly more expensive. The local Cafe and deli is very convenient with good food and service. Only observation is that it is not a non Smoking Park. But that isn’t a deal breaker for us. Well worth a visit, and hoping to return next year.

  • Catherine Vella

Great place, friendly staff, clean & tidy. So much for kids to do, hot pool, beach very close. Fun park next door & mini golf. Kids will love it. Only down side its close to airport, can get alittle noisy at night. We had a van, so not sure about the cabins. But overall we would come back to stay.

Had 5 nights here Nov 2023. Lovely camp, nice grassy pitch with power and water. Great location to explore the coast to Glenelg or in to Adelaide City. A bus can be caught outside the camp and goes to Adelaide in around 45 mins or 10 mins to Glenelg then you can get a tram to the city. Very helpful camp staff, beach access only yards away and spotless showers and toilets.

Wow, so I read a few comments before posting and I think people have become a little bit fussy. This place really has it all. The pricing is more than fair considering the location. The Cabins were clean, renovated and had all the inclusions you would need for a fantastic holiday. We stayed in the Seaview cabin and are considering returning in the near future. Well done to the team for providing good, clean, well priced accommodation with amazing views right in your doorstep.

Great family park with fantastic activities for the kids. On the beach with good access and large pool. Good sizes powered sites and the ensuite sites are great! Gigantic camp ground, with a lot of school classes etc. The place has broken showers or showers and toilets in bad shape. Halfe of the washing machines are out of order. Two toilets permanently leak liquids onto the floor. So many things are broken. The Kiosk has a sign to open later. The time is changed to an hour later by hand. The kiosk did not open anyways. Maybe your experience will be different, but ours did wildly not match the premium price of this camp ground.

Used to stay here a lot as a lot when visiting family in Adelaide, and so have many good memories and feelings of nostalgia here! Definitely a good place for the family. The rooms may be a bit outdated but they do the job and are comfortable. The amenities are great, especially for families with young children. And it is right next to the beach, which is fantastic!

Abit more expensive obviously because its a big4 park but the sites are a good size, the camp kitchens are amazing, the toilets and showers are well kept and very clean. We was very impressed with the laundry, don't need change, just use card to pay. This park back right onto the beach! There is a heated pool! Very happy with our stay, personally though we wouldn't stay at weekends as the rate goes up to $50per night, we would definitely stay again during the week

We originally booked for 7 days but liked it so much we stayed 11 days. We had a very comfy 2 berth cabin with views of the sea. Just perfect. Cabin was spotless. A big thank you to housekeeping. Every staff member we came across were so polite and friendly. Loved the onsite cafe. One of the cleanest and tidy parks weve stayed at. We will definitely be back next time we are in Adelaide. Also very good location. Bus stop is right outside the park.

A great park! We stayed in the eco tents which are comfortable and right across from the splash pad and near a really spacious indoor kitchen area. All the facilities are great quality, really clean and well maintained. And a great range of facilities - you could just about spend your whole family holiday here without even leaving the park! Traffic noise was a little loud at night. But I'm a bit fussy about that sort of thing!

  • Michelle Mitchell

Norfolk cabin is compact however has everything needed for a small family to enjoy their stay. The accommodation, surrounding gardens and activities areas are very clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The ducks that greeted us of a morning at our front door was nice surprise. I would definitely recommend BIG4 West Beach with accommodation to suit all budgets we are looking forward to returning.

This place was amazing! The swimming pool was just simply great, the arcade had family friendly games, kitchen had everything I needed to cook brekkie, lunch and dinner. The cafe's had delicious foods and desserts. Two jumping pillows, two kitchens and two laundries. The people there were really nice, not only the staff but also the fellow campers. Recommended for anyone who wants to go to a caravan park for a relaxing time.

  • Karina

It was a lovely clean place to stay but the cabin could have had a few more kitchen utensils. Utensils were very basic but the gas stove and cooktop were great. We stayed in an executive cabin, and the beds were not the best in the 2nd bedroom (very hard and worn with hard pillows).

Site good. Staff friendly. Park clean especially toilets and showers. Only complaint is that some people do not don't know caravan park educate, e.g. walking though My site not just cutting corner but walking on the slab where we were sitting and another time closer enough to look in our window. This needs to be explained on your brochure, please respect other people's sites and use paths and roads to walk around the park.

  • Mark Owen

A very well maintained and lovely park, one of the better ones in the Adelaide area. Facilities are plenty and cater for everyone, families especially. Our grand kids could've spent all day in the water park and pool. I'd personally give it 5 stars, but for those of you who like peace and tranquillity, you won't get it - as kids (as well as some adults) do make quite a lot of noise. But overall, great place.

  • Esther Esther

I have stayed at a lot of Caravan Parks around Australia and this would have to be the best. The most impressive thing to me is ALL the staff in the reception and around the park were extremely helpful, kind, friendly and nothing was too hard for them and the park was extremely busy so they were under pressure. The park was beautiful, green and lots of activities for all ages. Thank you for a wonderful time.

  • ROSALIE SMART

Good but would have appreciated some assistance finding our cabin upon arrival. It was dark, cold, windy & raining and as we didn't arrive in a vehicle ( got dropped at reception by a taxi ), we had to haul all of our luggage around the park looking for our cabin. There was cars coming up behind us in the dark so we were also trying to avoid the cars. The cabin was a true blessing when we finally found it.

  • Anicka

The pool was great, the toilet block was clean, the Cafe sold what you needed and reception was great. The site we were on was big and fit our 9mtr van and car comfortably. The park is huge with a jumping pillow and small basket ball court and movie night every night. Didn't realise it was right near the airport so downfall is hearing the planes landing and taking off constantly and even through the night.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom house, first disappointment not 1 coat-hanger, fridge seal not working all the time so alarm sounding, 3 pillows in the main bedroom no extras or blankets in the cupboards considering winter time and a few minor issues, they should do a walk through

I am just reporting that the dump point along 4th Avenue has been faulty since about the 9th of November and has been reported several times with nothing being done about it. It is a disgusting mess and a health hazard and needs to be fixed now or I will report it to the council as a health hazard. I know there is another one in the park but I cannot walk that far with a cassette

Very nice holiday park. We arrived late as our flight was delayed. The night duty guy was lovely. Had breakfast the next morning , excellent. All of the staff were very helpful. Nice pool. Toilets/showers great. Two minutes to the beach. Washing machines and dryers $5. No cash machine , but reception staff directed us to one close by. They changed our notes into coins. Can’t fault the place really.

  • Bryce Haggett

Not bad, the retreat rooms are clearly quite dated and definitely need some touch ups.. our front door frame was one good pull from coming off the wall entirely. The EV charging is in the caravan park only, which is a good 1km away so not ideal, but many plugs inside were easily accessible. Staff are very friendly, and the place is HUGE.

If you have kids this is perfect. So many fantastic activities to keep the kids entertained all day and evening. Movies in the evening, toddler soft play, arcade games (free), food trucks, cafe (that also sells beers etc), jumping pillow, lagoon pool, splash park etc so many great clean options. Staff have been very friendly . Beautiful green grass. One of the best van parks in SA.

  • Jeff Kealy

It's in a great spot only 4 or 5 minutes from shopping ...those travelling with vans and 4x4 ..mechanical help and servicing with in 10 minute drive, back to the park quiet busy in peak times ... pick your times for meals , best to use your own BBQ .amenities, very good but same..pick your times.... The BEACH. walking distance .

Sensational park with fantastic facilities. Kids won't be bored for a single minute and adults are well catered too. The camp kitchens and amenities blocks are spotless and well appointed. This time we stayed in a cabin which was lovely and we look forward to camping here sometime in the future. All staff that we interacted with were helpful and friendly. Thanks West Beach!

  • Erryn

Just stayed for 9 nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in (walk-in guest). Great slab site, large and spacious..didn't feel cramped in. Lots of activities for little kids (just got to keep an eye out for older kids trying to kick them off). Location great for the beach. No dinner options within park but nice fish and chips shops about 15min walk north.

  • Ian Drury

The best caravan park in Adelaide. Plenty of activities, a huge pool, clean amenities and a damp good laundry. Pancake Van open in the park on Friday and Saturday nights. Camp kiosk has nice coffee. Right on the beach, with easy access to the foreshore walking track. Plenty of sites for all sizes of rigs. Friendly helpful staff. Cabins available for all budgets.

  • Kate Graf

One of the best caravan parks we’ve stayed at. Awesome service, clean facilities and fantastic kids program. Don’t really need to leave the park once you’re there! Kids had the best week ever. Would definitely recommend.

The best Big 4 this side of Renmark. A really good spot, perfect position. Fantastic amenities. Great fun for kids aged 2-102. One thing, the ensuite's are really tiny and in need of a makeover and the splash park is a bit average for a park of this size. Other than that - brilliant!

Great location, heaps of things for the kids to do. The park is huge, a couple kms long. There are several kids water areas, kids gaming room, cafes and right on the water. Great to throw a line out and relax.

Stayed 2 nights powered sites. Kids had a good time. Would benefit from a better water play area. Seems a little behind the times compared to other places we have stayed. But staff friendly, well kept grounds and would recommend for people with kids up to about 12 years old. Very big park.

Amazing park, incredible facilities we have two kids and they were in heaven, playgrounds, indoor playgrounds, beautiful resort style pool, outdoor movie every night, karts. All amenities very clean and well maintained. Great large sites. Right on the beach with a great cycle track running between you and the beach. Would definitely go back.

Made reservations over phone with a girl named ally she was very helpful and made sure our caravan site was close as possible with our friends that booked there as well. Her personality was bubbly, friendly, polite so professional at doing her job. Will definitely ask for her when we next book again.

This did not live up to Big4 standards. There were broken taps, grime and dust everywhere - clearly the housekeepers hadn’t been given enough time to clean the place to a good standard. The unit was extremely outdated. We recommend Discovery Parks Adelaide - on the same road and in the same price bracket but a lot more modern and clean.

  • Barbara Fisher

We are staying in an Executive Dune Cabin and it's basic at best. Definitely starting to show it's age & needs a refurbishment. Minimal additional bedding. Only 1 extra blankets for 2 beds & only a flat pillow per bed no additionalif needed. No drawers in bedrooms & no additional cupboards in the kitchen to store groceries.

  • Andrew Kuzniarski

Park always rates highly. Stayed here previously and service, facilities and location makes it our go to place in Adelaide. Live music on Sunday plus food van on some days are a bonus. Try the chicken satay on chips if you can. Easy bus into Glenelg or city connect. Highly recommended.

This park is excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff, amenities are clean and plentiful. Large park with excellent powered sites and fantastic kids facilities. Even a small gym for the adults. Next to the beach and walking/bike tracks. There is nothing negative to say about this park. Totally recommend staying here.

A beautiful place to stay! West beach is the perfect place to unwind. This park has beach access which is the best and can walk for many kilometres on the beach! A great little cafe/takeaway shop it has very nice food friendly staff and convenient. I look forward to the day I can stay again!

Great spot, took the 4 year old grand daughter there this week, she had a ball. Stayed in the rivergum cabin, very roomy for just us 3, only downfall was the heater/air conditioning didn't work and had a couple of cool nights, could have done with the heater on. But overall we will be back.

What an amazing place to stay. Beautiful, spacious clean cabins. The beach house we stayed in even had a coffee machine, full sized fridge, and dishwasher. Multiple play ground and water play options for the kids. Beach access. Shops nearby. Will definitely stay again.

  • Sandy Pritchard

Facilities are great, amenities are clean, friendly staff and a decent sized site. Worth the money. The only down side is some things were not in working order (the water play, toddler play area, washing machine) It's a great location and we would stay again though.

The best Caravan Park we have ever stayed at. Cleaned, well maintained by staff, complete Ameneties for Adults and kids. Beautiful swimming pool, Kiosk, Games area, The hub and so many things to enjoy. Also it has an access to the Beach. Were satisfied campers.

Awesome spot backing onto the beach. We hired some bikes and rode to Glenelg for lunch. Lots of places you can walk to and grab a beer or a bite. Warm swimming pool, lots of stuff for the kids and super clean. In my top 10 of caravan parks. Thanks West Beach

Great facilities for kids. But premium ensuite site needs to revisit for the price or better maintenance. Bathroom is way too small and cleaning status is below standard...especially right next to the gate as people walk all the time even at night time!

Great park, clean, spacious, tidy and green. Loved the pool and access to the beach. Not a fan of Jet Aircraft taking off at 6am. Disappointed at the high cost of children staying overnight and that fact that visitors have to pay for an hour or two!

Fantastic facilities for young children. My grandsons had a ball. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful despite some work being done to build up the sand dunes. Highly recommend especially if you have children.

An excellent park - we really felt like we were out of the thick of the city, while still being close to everything we needed. I see some complaints about aircraft noise or 'lack of tranquility' due to many families and kids in the park, or

Good Park to visit but could use more of a routine for cleaning the shower blocks at times they get very dirty when busy. The pool is cold and unusable when the weather is not hot enough and there needs to be more supervision ( life guard )

Don't bother ringing this place, anywhere that takes 10+ minutes before a human answers the phone is bound for trouble. If answering the phone is an issue, I can only imagine what the stay will be like. Not happy.

Awesome park. Very helpful staff. Had booked a powered site but upgraded to ensure site due to problem with campervan water pump. Staff had no problem helping us. Thoroughly recommend. Beach access for spectacular sunset views.

Extremely clean, friendly for kids. 10 and 8 year old entertained and busy all day. Slept like logs. Bedding and towels are very high quality. Pool was clean and a beautiful temp. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced.

  • Jack Ross

Standard cabin bunk beds were dreadful, foam pads were like sleeping on solid concrete, shared amenities could be better, cleaning times left me and my colleagues waiting as we are early risers, Cafe food was nice though.
