Staff were very friendly on check in so I have to commend them on that. But the room we were given was extremely dated. The decor was probably from nearly 30 years ago and in dire need of a facelift. The reclining arm chairs in the room were old and broken and I hate to think of when they were last cleaned, definitely of the vintage era. There were loose nails jutting out which we had to keep our infant from, the floor Lino was cracked, the bed was cheap and uncomfortable and we kept our window closed to stop the smell of sewerage from wafting in. For over $200 per night for an extremely outdated one bedroom cabin they were taking advantage of the Christmas holiday rates which is fine but really the standard of the room should reflect the rate. There were no pictures of this room on the website, the picture of ‘this room’ was considerably different from what we experienced. I could see that we were placed in an older section of the park where the long term residents lived whereas there were newer styles cabins in another section of the park. So if you stay here, try and request a newer cabin and perhaps speak up at the start to be moved (we stayed 3 nights) as we just figured that all the cabins must be of the same standard but nope that’s not the case at all. We were in cabin 302. We’ve stayed in many tourist parks around the country and this is actually the only time we’ve been disappointed with the quality of accommodation.

Park is reasonable. Amenities are very clean and new looking. Great little games room and camp kitchen. Pity the staff are not as good as their park. Because of a major event in Adelaide that weekend, we booked a few months in advance to ensure 2 vans would have adjacent sites. When we arrived, staff advised that we were on sites 3 and 5 as the van on 4 had a medical emergency and was unable to move. We accepted their explanation as it was a medical emergency. However, when we got to the sites, no one was on 4. We returned to the office asking for an explanation which was not forthcoming. What we were told was, if you don't like it, leave. Which clearly we couldn't do as Adelaide was booked out. No apology, no 'sorry for the mix up...just leave. Needless to say we won't be back and wouldn't recommend the park

Really nice place just needs to improve on their cleaning situation. Have now stayed here a number of times and it was mostly pleasant despite the cleanliness issues. It was a decent place to have nice day or so from home but not go far. Now all of a sudden it seems my custom is not good enough & want a $100 bond. Which is absolutely ludicrous considering how many times I've stayed & it's always cleaner on departure than it's ever been on arrivals. I must say I find this very upsetting as I did think this was a lovely place my family would of enjoyed many more times now I guess we will be finding better elsewhere. Very disappointed to say the least.

Stayed here with pets so my home could get much needed work done and i could be out of the way and the noise. Cabin was all I needed to be comfy. Though the single bed took getting used to from a queen size but the neighbours and the majority of staff bar 1 possibly a trainee had great customer service to somebody who had been put out of her comfort zone at short notice. Would I stay there again? Possibly, since i was told to expect a small refund, if i could expect a little more common courtesy and less downtalk for the price. Now I know the unwritten rules contrary to what I was told on some things.

Great place to stay, the staff are magnificent and friendly and so helpful with everything. there's an amazing pool and pool area, feels like your at a tropical island. I must say the only thing that was a bit daunting was the prices, top place though, and looked after in everyday, neat tidy, clean and the amenities are awesome. We stayed in a cabin, great choice if you want your own shower and toilet and kitchen and a bit of room, you also have your own little verandah with outdoor table and chairs and ashtray for smokers. Thank you Carolyn for all your help and effort to make us comfortable.

Two sections to this caravan park, old and new. The old section has a lot of permanents. There are some permanents in the new section as well but we found the new section in pristine condition and very quiet. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the ablutions are the cleanest we have ever seen. Lovely sparkling pool, well set up laundry and washing lines. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there are no recycling bins.... rather surprising in this day and age where we all need to do our bit for the environment. Overall this caravan park deserves 5 stars

  • Carrol Walker

We have stayed at this park many times before but since it has been taken over by new owners they have let the parks high stands go down hill. The cabin we we in was old and smelt really bad to the point we had to put little pill cups of bicarb soda and niloder around. The floors were gritty and when I swept it there was a big pile of dirt. The bathroom was ok. Plus side is there were plenty of hot water and great water pressure.

Extremely dated room for the price. Took the absolute micky with the rates due to the time of the year but had no choice which obviously they took advantage of. Exposed nails in the floor which we had to try and protect our 17 month old son from. Constant smell of sewerage coming from bathroom. Room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Dust all over the microwave and a someone else’s trimmed beard hairs in the sink. No couch and the chairs in the room were broken and very lacking cutlery for a room with a kitchenette.

  • D M

My elderly dad and I stayed here one night, as dad had an early specialist appointment next day. We stayed in 2 bedroom cottage. Room was clean, smelled fresh, obvious bathroom had been recently up graded. New and shiny, huge hot shower. Delightful. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, reception was genuinely friendly and helpful. Couldn't hear highway noise once door was shut. Gardens were green and lush. Thanks heaps. We would recommend here to all travellers.

  • Des Uren

New owners new prices have increased but nothing more for it even the solar heating for the pool was not turned on 2 off the days 33 to 34 degrees would have been nice in the pool. We come here every Easter it s all ways full but not this time maybe the prices are having an impact next Easter we will probably go else where which probably may be a good idea as by then the new freeway will be open so it will have traffic noise on 3 sides of the park

Such a nice place to stay. Great facilities for young families with cool playground and large grassy areas for the kids to play. Amenities were always clean and well maintained. Only thing that was was a bit of a pain is men's toilets had a pin code pad which was great but ladies had to use a key and us girls kept forgetting to take the keys to the bathroom with us so would have to go back to the van to get it....

  • Tania Coutts

Beautiful park, nice and tidy, though needs more wheelie bins or just bins spread out more throughout the park and not in just one designated area. Could be a bit more dog friendly, was a hot weekend, decided to go for a swim in the pool in the old area, took our 2 dogs, tied them up on the inside of the pool fence in the shade so they could see us, and not fret, but got told by the groundman to get them out.

  • Emma Flett

Rooms good value could do with a revamp but still great value. Service makes up for it all. All staff super friendly and had a great giggle with Nicole when booking in. Thx for the stay. Was a nice break to repack our van on our trip caravanning from wa.

Terrible nights sleep, the bed was very cheap & nasty! After a long day driving a good nights sleep was what we were hoping for. There are two areas to the park. The red area seems to be 90% permanent residence & the blue area looks like a nice tourist park. Unfortunately we were given a unit in the red area, very tired, definitely no photos of this unit online! If staying there ask to be in the blue area!

  • Mark Rasmus

No communication by office management, was basically told I was a liar, because of there incompetence. Couldn't believe it, and then I was the bad guy? Will never stay there again. Even after being a good tenant for nearly 10years under previous owner, didn't mean a thing to new management Aspen group. Very disappointed, beware of this park, stay at own risk. Apparently manager is ex- military, go figure.

Hidden gem! 3 bedroom villa was spacious, clean and comfy. Pool looks amazing, facilities are great, small kids playground, and not noisy as expected near the highway. Only 15mins to Port Adelaide and Semaphore beaches. Great spot. Great service ☺️

Well maintained gardens plenty of units and cabins to choose from including powered sites for caravans. 2 pools and playgrounds for younger children. Walking distance to a big truckstop Caltex for takeout or snacks and basic necessities etc. Quiet relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Affordable prices with friendly service. Will definitely come back here on our next visit.

  • Albert Kolm Albit

The powered camping grounds are perfect for children as it was close to the spa/pool and playground. Also, the kitchen and dining area is right beside it. Not recommended to those who are sensitive to road noise as it amplify at night. Overall, the facility including the toilets is well maintained and extra clean. Shops are not far, in case you forgot and want a short trip for grocery.

  • Shay Mayson

I highly recommend you DON'T stay here If you're looking for somewhere family friendly, safe and comfortable... My husband and I stayed here for a week. I was pregnant at the time. Staff were just rude and unnaccommodating, there are alot of sketchy people in the area making the whole place feel unsafe and uncomfortable. I didn't feel safe walking around this park alone.

  • juan esteban Alvarez

We book our accommodation for 5 people and we only got 3 beds, the cabin was in really poor conditions a lot of dust(walls flithy), main bed broken(main solution was to sleep on the floor when contacted after hours emergency number) and the highlight of our family experience of the service was the extremely racist behavior of the manager on duty. A very poor experience.

  • Lynne Eime

I love living here, and it's starting to improve on maintenance since the new manager has been employed. He is very approachable, and his door is always open. I have seen him walking around the park and talking to the residents and seeing what needs to be done. Also the staff in the office are much happier.

The air conditioner/heater was extremely loud the arm chairs were old, scratchy and uncomfortable and the bed was not the most comfortable. The park itself is nice but not overly enjoyable due to the smell of the sewerage wafting over. The cabin was clean but over all it was over priced and uncomfortable.

  • Sharni Evans

Clean and tidy cabins. Friendly staff, who help out anyway possible to make sure you have a nice and relaxing stay. We Always stay here when I'm down Adelaide. They even looked after all our luggage at the reception while we went shopping to kill time while waiting for the bus home. Thank you guys!

  • John

Good size caravan sites, all gravel and concrete with room for 2 vehicles as well. Nice grounds with modern facilities. Amenities are not big enough for the number of sites and people, so they would get messy very quickly. Otherwise, it's not a bad park for its location.

Great little place just off the side of the main road. We had a few little issues in our cabin. Such as the shower head leaked out the back and on to the wall and the beds were a bit soft. But other than that it was a nice little place to stay overnight.
