Went in looking for a screen protector, two associates were in (mid day Sunday), one eating, the other watching a show on his phone. Asked about the glass ones for my phone, the guy advised me not to get a glass screen protector, never even pointed to the screen protector service bestbuy carries - clearplex- I had to inquire about it. The guy didn't really seem like he wanted to sell it after I asked how it feels, and how much it was. I decided to go for it, even though there's a booth across the way sells the exact same thing for $5 cheaper. While the guy was putting the protector on, i was being rung up by the other person working, i noticed most of the time the screen was being installed, the guy was still keeping his face in his phone watching something (soccer?) Even though I got my screen protector, Definitely won't come back to this location because of the profession in customer service (or lack thereof). Maybe a business that deals with customer service should put their phones away at all times (except for a reason to showcase something, like a case or protector) Other than that, there seemed to be more product for phones than most phone stores. Will be filling out the survey on the receipt so hopefully the higher up honchos will see what happens in the stores.

Sitting in my car, on hold with Telus in the South Center parking lot, I decided I was not going back into Telus at Southcenter due to the poor service and the bad attitude I received and I would go instead to Chinook Mall. So I drove there still on hold with Telus. We eventually had and finally concluded a very unsatisfactory phone call and I headed into the mall. I stopped briefly in Rogers Mobile and then I saw a Best Buy Mobile almost across the mall from Telus and I popped in to Best Buy Mobile to ask a few questions. I am happy to say I received the best service ever and I am no longer (after a couple of decades) a Telus customer Lucas was extremely knowledgeable and patient, at no point did he sound like Telus robot repeatedly reading from a script! He patiently answered questions and explained in a manner that a non-tech person like myself could understand. His loyalty is not to a particular brand or mobile carrier but instead to the customer, providing the best solution for the customer! I would not hesitate to recommend Best Buy Mobile to anybody! Thank you Lucas and Best Buy Mobile.

All i can say is the worst service i have had in a long time , first of all i went to purchase two Iphone X and get my plan set up i had told the guy working before that i was going to come back in the evening with my mother he put the two iIphones on hold he even asked what colors i wanted took down my information and i left. I came back at 7:00pm to find out that one of the Iphones X i put on hold was sold and instead of owning up to it the guy behind the desk said well would you still like this one? i couldn't believe this service it was terrible why offer to put something on hold then if you cant actually keep it on hold? i was back only a few hours after and they didn't even call me to notify me. They missed out on a massive sale i was going to purchase 2 Iphones , 2 plans , 2 phone case and screen protectors so instead i went over to another phone company on 130th SE and they got my sale. All i can say is don't waste your time at this place.

* RIP OFF * - my son bought a phone here and signed up for a plan that was $100 a month with 4 gigs of data ( yes stupid move on his part). He lost his job so went in to see if he could get a cheaper plan. The guy at the counter said no he couldn't change the plan since he signed the contract for 2 years yadayada. So he figured he was screwed and carried on. Today, he had to call Virgin for another matter, and happened to ask about a cheaper plan. Virgin lowered his plan to $80 and added 2 gigs of data for a total of 6 gigs. I was there when he asked for the cheaper plan at Best Buy Mobile and they didn't even suggest he call virgin to see about a cheaper plan. ALSO DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY from these people through Geeksquad. I will post what happened to us on the Geeksquad review site - but Best Buy Mobile TOTALLY misrepresented how the plan works and what exactly is covered.

Yasmin is impeccable in her knowledge of products and services for mobile phones! I came in completely flustered due to having broken my phone and needed a phone quickly. I went to Bell in Chinook Mall first and was directed to come to this shop to purchase a phone. Yasmin welcomed me and could sense that I was pressed for time. In a relatively short amount of time she had figured out that the best solution was to not purchase outright, but to use my credits on my Bell account. I had no idea that a Best Buy representative could deal with Bell for me. She even got extra discounts for me and a gift card for Best Buy too! I was in and out quickly and off to my next meeting. In fact, so quickly that I forgot my phone box and gift card behind. Lol Yasmin made sure to contact me and let me know so that I could come by and pick it up. Excellent service! I love my new S20 by the way.

My experience with this location has been nothing but top notch customer service. Yes the store can get a bit busy and there is sometimes a bit of a wait, however this store is in the middle of a busy mall with two to three workers on at one time. The workers always greet the customers, and acknowledge that they will be right with you as soon as they can. They go above and beyond as well as I had just purchased a new phone with them, a case and screen protector. With my luck the case did not close properly and something had stuck under the screen protector when it was applied. I went in a few days later with my original receipts and the workers were more than happy to help me. The staff here are knowledgeable about the products they are selling, and provide top notch customer service. I would recommend any of my friends go here over their regular mobile carrier location.

Went in to buy a phone, and I over heard the one employee talking to other customers and ask them if they where there to buy out a phone or get a plan. The customers said that they want to buy out a phone. Then he told them that they weren't allowed to do buy out at the time due to low stock. He ended up getting them to get a plan. When I talked to another employee and told them that I was sent to their store by another best buy because they had the phone I wanted, and I wanted to buy it out. He said that was no problem and went and got the phone I wanted, I hope the other employee was telling the other customers the truth, because I had bought the phone out right and didn't have to sign up to a plan.

I came in looking for earbuds with a lightning connector. The only one they had out was the apple brand. I asked the lady that worked there if these were the only ones they sold. She rudely asked me if I was sure it was the one with the lightning connector I said I was sure. Then she also rudely stated that apple was the only company to manufacture earbuds with a lightning cable. I knew that there were other brands like beats that manufacture earbuds with a lightning cable. I ended up leaving because I didn’t want to do business with someone who was condescending towards me.she was also very pushy and when she asked if I needed help and I said no she proceeded to help anyways

I did go to buy my Google pixel 7 Pro outright, the sales associate was really not a sales person representing best buy, he was shabbily dressed No Name tag, No sales attitude, No knowledge of the product No knowledge of the offers with the phone, When he checked in the system about my phone for a trade in he laughed at my face saying my phone was not listed to trade in, I just felt so downgraded. Might as well just don't keep any human in a store. Literally I had plans of buying 2 phones just ended up in buying one and the other from the TBooth stores just 2 shops away That's the feelling I had. If possible avoid this particular Store.

Thank you staff for working hard to sort out my Public Mobile disaster. Although you do not deal with this company you tried everything, even finding a phone number to call this only online provider to no avail. Left with a new phone number and plan from Fido. Amazing effort and you will continue see my business onward. Avoid Public Mobile at all cost. You’ve been warned! This was during the Covid timeframe when almost everything was locked down including Public Mobile kiosks. My credit card payment was removed from Public Mobile which started this whole thing. Thanks you Master Card.

I ordered the pixel 6 online because it was listed as available online at the Chinook center location. I drive 20 minutes to get to the mall only to get an email while I'm in the store that my order had been cancelled because they didn't have the product that I ordered. Im speaking to the employee of the store and am told sorry next time you want something from here call us first. Please update your website accordingly because now I'm stuck waiting 10 business days for a refund from this location. Nice.

I dealt with Lucas and got an IPhone 11 Pro in Gold. By far the best customer service I’ve ever received. The store was super busy, and there was a line up, yet somehow Lucas still managed to offer me the best deal, and also kept the people waiting in line engaged and answered their questions. Honestly for the amount of work I saw him do, he deserves a raise. Good to know he is in charge there. I am sending anyone I know to him to get a phone deal with Lucas.

Kartik was awesome. returned my phone at the Koodo shop prior to going to Best Buy for a better deal and Kartik definitely gave me the best deal possible! I even came back to exchange my phone again because I was unsatisfied with the colour and he did it without any complaints and did it very quickly. I definitely tested his patience but he kept his professionalism. Would recommend to anyone looking for great incentives with your plan.

Great place to get a cell phone. They had promotions at that time that was not only better than everyone else at Chinook Center (in terms of money back: $150 gift card on iPhone11 Pro? Why yes, thank you - nothing down, 88/mo. With a big carrier. They showed us the best deals gave us options which carrier and the sales professional found ways (phone trade in, lease,) to lower that bill to under 90. Check them out first.

My experience with location was terrible and the staff are all over the floor, no help are guidance with my day use in cell phone department, the only help was from another patron. Why have more than 20 staff members working if no is there to greet, help, smile, ask if we need assistance. If Best Buy wants our monetary contributions to the business, act right and do you job. SMH Best Buy do better.

Passed by today to inquire on getting a new phone. Spoke to Omar who was really professional and pleasant to deal with. My own carrier was not able to help with my need and inquiries and I’m glad I passed by BestBuy Mobile chinook and spoke to Omar who gave me all I needed in terms of my monthly charge breakdowns and got me a better deal than my own carrier could. Went in to purchase iPhone Pro Max outright. The associate helping me initially was very good, however another associate (Possibly Jesse?) was helping another customer but also rudely interrupting us. The second staff member was very argumentative and I left. I Will simply purchase the phone from apple. Staff member needs further training.

The customer service is terrible. You go in wait five to ten minutes for the CSR to look your direction. And then even when they have a two to one ratio CSRs and you walk over to someone they just ignore your questions. Asus has an exclusive deal with Best Buy otherwise I would not have tried to purchase a phone from here.

Lucas did an amazing job and provided us with a great deal that got each of my family members (including myself) an extra 2GB of data by switching from Koodo to Virgin Mobile for pretty much the same monthly cost. He was very patient and gave us expert advice on how to save money and what products are best. Very satisfied.
