Horrendous experience!! I have been to this location(26 the Ave NE Calgary) of Best Buy for years now but never ever had such a awful experience. I had been to store to get the product sent to the manufacturer since it was under the manufacturer warranty. We were peacefully standing there waiting for the person who had helped us the last day to help us out. Then "Samim Sarwari" named in store representative walked in. He is the Mobile leader of the store. Without even introducing himself or whatsoever, did not even ask how could he help. He literally started blaming and shouting at us for not buying the extended warranty. He said that you could have paid $400 for extended warranty. Instead of resolving the issue, he was asking us to go buy another laptop and buy extended warranty on that. He accused us that we are asking him to replace or exchange the product. Mind it we had never even once mentioned that we wanted a new product. We were simply there to send the product back to the manufacturer. Later, while the other service representative was helping us she even called him back to resolve the issue/misunderstanding. But this person he came back and started arguing again. He never once apologized for his behaviour. Infact we were standing there and he just left by saying to the other representative that he had something to do. Given the fact that he is store leader, I am really upset by the example he is setting for other staff. Other staff members were apologizing for his behavior but it seems like since he is the store leader , apologizing doesn't comes under his role or responsiblity. I am really disappointed and upset by the level of the service a store leader is providing in this branch Best Buy. I cannot expect this level of service coming from a person in Leadership role. Extremely dissapointed. I would have given 5 stars to the other staff members but for him I don't think he doesn't deserve any stars.

Went on a Black Friday Sale to buy an ipad, sales associate brought my device for payment at a designated Cashier at the Geeksquad Area (this is where their magic happens) the lady offered me to get their 2 year protection plan for $120 for manufacturing defects associated with the purchase of a new ipad. Then i asked “Isn’t it that apple provides a 1-year warranty on their products? The cashier replied- “you still need to pay $150 shipping of your ipad when you don’t have the extended warranty, then I paused and think before replying her back “ok since im pretty careful with my devices and lasts me a long time, i would decline for the extended warranty for now, then she lowered her price to $100, but i still said NO, she looks so frustrated not getting and upsell from me. I paid for just the ipad without their so called “extended warranty” that will make you think twice to add it on purchase to avoid the shipping costs that they bluff, I approached the Apple rep assigned to this bestbuy shop and told him about the shipping and warranty coverages and yes, apple replaces your device if defective within the warranty period no questions asked. Beware of Bestbuy’s tactics of upselling some warranty because this is where they make money. To the Management of this location: Please orient your staff to fully disclose what they are selling so as not to mislead unsuspecting buyers from falling into your sales tactics. You are violating consumer’s protection and rights for not doing so. I’ll give a 5 star review only to the Apple Representative assigned that Black Friday sale afternoon- you did an amazing job! And only you did (sorry he got no name tag that’s why i cant recognize his name)

I always give a business a fair shake before writing a review. I arrived at the sunridge location Sunday afternoon, it wasn't very busy. My wife and I, wanted to buy a TV and espon printer. We decided to try Best buy for their prices and location. My wife and I stood in the TV area for 40 minutes.. while nobody offered any help. We went to the printer area, (which is very close) and again, was offered zero help with finding anything. It seems the norm for employees here to stand in groups of 4 and 5 looking at their phones and sharing a laugh, then helping customers find what they are looking for. (See my photo). 5 employees standing feet from each other. I got fed up waiting, approached an employee in the printer department only to be told (sorry, we don't have ANY color printer available).... Monochrome was available, but no color. Another helpful hint would be to put "out of stock" tags on items that are not available, rather than spending 30 min googling reviews on printers that just aren't available. The only person who acknowledged me was the door greeter, (whom I complained too on my way out). Get some staff who really care about their job, just a word of advice. Also, off the top of my head, ordering online is a horrible experience. My wife placed an order for a printer, with no payment confirmation or email notification. She did receive the printer, though only because of complaints put through to their head office. The next purchase (cellphone) was the exact same problem. Over five days she waited for any confirmation what so ever, or shipping alone for that matter. This is the last time we will purchase anything online. I won't be back to this location either.

My actual experience with the purchase itself was great, the two gentleman at the pick up counter were very helpful. However, after spending over $450.00, I was not even offered a bag for my purchase. I asked the gentleman if he could provide one and he said he didn’t have any and to ask customer service for one. No problem. I walk to the customer service counter, a man and a woman are working behind the counter and there is no lineup, just me. I’m standing there but neither person greets me. Finally the lady working behind the customer service counter turns and says “One minute” and proceeds to continue talking to her co-worker. Finally she addresses me, I show her my purchase and receipt and tell her that I was instructed to get a bag for my purchase from customer service as the pick up counter didn’t have any bags. Instead of offering a bag, she gives me a lecture on how Best Buy no longer offers bags but I can purchase a paper bag for $0.30. ?? I ask if they can just give me a bag since I’ve already completed a transaction for an almost $500.00 purchase (where I should have been offered a bag originally) but she insisted on repeating the exact same message about how “Best Buy no longer offers bags but I can purchase a paper bag for $0.30.” I said forget it and I left, and I’m not coming back. Terrible self awareness and terrible customer service - I didn’t buy a soda I bought a Switch OLED console, bag it already. So disappointed that I was told to wait - at a customer service counter - and then wasn’t even helped.

I went in to buy a Samsung phone on the 26th. When we walked in the place was crazy busy and one of the sales associates with blue hair was playing extremely loud music by the entrance. The music was in bad taste and it was so loud that the sales associates could not hear the customers. I went to the Samsung phone area to check if the phone was still available. A female staff member was squatting behind the display because she was overwhelmed and they were ridicolously understaffed. I asked her about the phone and she told us that it was available and to line up at the front (behind the guy blasting the loud music). I was in the line up for 45 minutes. People complained about the music (I myself could not hear my husband standing next to me) and somebody turned it off just a few minutes as the guy with the blue hair came back and turned it on even louder. When it was finally our turn the guy that was directing the line outright ignored me and had a friend of him cut the line and sit down before us. I asked him about the phone I wanted to purchase and he said they were out of the unlocked ones. I told him that he was lying because I was just told by another team member that they still had them. He kept insisting so I told him that the whole situation was unreasonable. He kept insisting so I just left. This whole situation was ridicolous, they need to fire the incompetent employees. Blasting loud music in an already overwhelming busy day is unacceptable. I will never go back to that location again.

We recently went online to find an inexpensive small television. After reading about a refurbished tv, claiming to be tested and working properly decided to purchase it, to save money. After receiving the television we found that it did not function properly. We decided to return it to our local Best Buy location. We were informed that it was sold but a " market " seller and returns need to be done through the seller, we were not aware of this policy. After a discussion with the manager she advised us that they would create the waybill for us and have it picked up from their store via UPS as we said we refuse to tote the tv back and forth.the actual refund would come from the seller. We appreciate the gesture of sending it back for us as we " bought* the tv through best buys name. A name we have trusted for many years and many devices. What was disappointing us that there was no need for us to let best buy or the seller know what was wrong with the tv. This made us feel like Best Buy us not concerned about what kind of sellers they have. Now the tv will go back into circulation... Without knowledge of what's wrong with it. I guess Best Buy being so huge doesn't need to worry about those things, but it makes us feel that perhaps we can't trust them as we once did, I will say this We will never buy from a market seller through best buy again. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for....and believe me it's not worth the hassle.

Another disappointing experience (4th time to be precise) (I can provide the purchase receipts if needed). An unprofessional team I'd say. Couple of things to the point: * Unfriendly staff: Talks very rudely, they really have no time for the customers. * I purchase at least $2-3k a month for my office from this location - the only reason being I live across the street. * Went there last month to get a laptop - a store associate comes and says I will get this thing for you and I see him talking and laughing with other associates of best buy. I remind him of my presence and he says someone else will help you. This thing continues and ultimately I have to call the manager to get the thing done. * Today I went there to pick up a phone (Paying outright seeing 1 piece available at this store). I go there and the lady says we have one piece but cannot sell it as it is RESERVED under friends and family plan which is not mentioned on the website. I call the manager again and he says we don't have any in stock (I should have taken the screenshot of the website). I don't wanna name him here online but when I say these issues. Instead of apologizing, he says ok. Nothing else and I had to leave the store. Two stars are ONLY as they have most of the items available. Honestly, don't go here if you need a professional service. Never going back at this location. You guys are ruining best buy's reputation. Hope this helps.

If you want to get ripped off then go ahead and shop here. I placed an online order at the end of March and was double charged. I was told that this would be reversed in a timely matter, and I still don’t have my funds back. I made it aware to them that I will not be able to make my car payment due to their error but to no avail. Here is what I have received as an answer: Our team is working diligently to reverse the duplicate transaction, by working closely with our payment processing partners to ensure this is resolved as quickly as possible and banks are notified. At this time, our Customer Care agents do not have any further information, but rest assured we will send you another update as soon as more details are available. This is not acceptable, it has been a week since this error has occurred. I am certain that if I owed Best Buy any money they would act a lot quicker to respond. As I mentioned I have now missed a car payment due to their error as I had those funds set aside specifically to make the payment. Will they pay me back with interest? Likely not! I will never again make a pic jade with Best Buy and will discourage anyone and everyone to buy anything there. I may also contact my local news on this issue. This is theft and their simple apologies don’t cut it.

Very disappointed and upset with this store untrained employee with costumers!!! Worst employees not trained to deal with costumers!! I bought an Asus Laptop on April 2021!!! I bought the membership every month I paid $:20.99 since that time until now!!! More than 2 years!!! So I bought a PlayStation 5 with warranty on October last year and the employee never ever asked if I have the membership!!! And on November I bought a tv for my son and again the untrained employee never ever asked for my membership!!! So I paid in total almost $: 1,133.46 on my MEMBERSHIP for what if I can never used!!!so I called for cancellation the membership and the guy said if I canceled the membership if something happened with my laptop cannot be fixed!!! I spent on membership twice of the price of my laptop!!! Shame!!!! Iam not surprise how many costumers are disappointed and upset with this store with untrained employee!!! When I called to cancel my membership the guy said they will give me back on my credit card $:2,00 shame on this company after took from me $:1,133 they will give me $:2,00 and after when I spent with PlayStation 5 Console they never asked for my membership!! To get some discount!!! Of course they want the money and never give as discount for having membership!!!

Never pre-order from Best Buy, especially at this location. Pre-Ordered an iPhone on pre-order release day and it took an extra 3 weeks after the actual release day for them to fulfill the order. Don’t bother asking when it will be fulfilled either, they don’t know anything. Finally got a call to pick up the phone; the staff is not knowledgeable and I spent 2 hours for them to ‘activate’ the phone… I was just switching phones, why such issue? Then I wanted to get my $50 layaway deposit back. The clerk charged me $50 instead of refunding. When I checked my statement and noticed, I return to the store and the supervisor offered no apology and tried to justify that it’s because the online system and in-store system is different or something. I don’t care, nor should any customer; as a business you should be making sure stuff like this doesn’t happen and not to justify it. Any sort of apology would’ve went further than their sorry excuse. Spent all in all 2 trips and way too long to just get an iPhone. Save your time and the headache, if you’re wanting an iPhone, just go to the Apple Store or elsewhere that’s NOT Best Buy, these guys suck, will screw up, and not apologize or compensate you for the inconveniences they cause.

I am giving this review, especially for Manager Navdeep. I went to the store regarding my purchase of a 4-year warranty and the way Manager Navdeep dealt with me was unacceptable I wish I could give him 0 stars but no option for it. He was showing the attitude of his position as a manager and he was forcing me to buy stuff from the best buy store in the future but I already decided never to go to the best buy store in my whole life. The reason is Manager Navdeep. The reason I went to the store was to return the PC which I bought from this store with a 4-year warranty but now it starts creating problems I decided to return that because not satisfied with that anymore after spending 1900 dollars on it and with a 4-year warranty it comes around 2400 dollars. At the time of purchase, they told me that if I see any problem with their product then I will get a full refund in the same way I paid for it but now the manager Navdeep said I will never get my money back and only I will get store credit for it and I have to buy again from best buy and he repeats the word have to again and again. I don't understand how can they force a customer to go to their store if the customer doesn't want to.

Staff have absolutely no knowledge of technology. I was asking for an Xbox wireless adapter, lady tells me they don't carry those and they don't exist. Tried to waved me away. I went and brought her an Xbox controller off the shelf that was sold with the wireless adapter included, I pointed to the adapter and asked if they sold just the adapter, as it can be bought separately at other retailers. She asked me how many GB I wanted. After a moment of confusion I had to explain to her that it is NOT a usb storage device, it is a wireless adapter that connects via usb. She told me it doesn't exist. I went and stood in line at customer service to ask someone who (hopefully) understood how technology worked. Waited 20 mins in line while they struggled to process a return for one customer, ran out of patience and left. Spend your money elsewhere unless you know exactly what you're there for and it's properly stocked on the shelf. I doubt the staff here would know the difference between a vacuum cleaner and a laptop and yet they're trying to upsell you on products.

They don't care about their customers. I went there to buy a laptop but instead I want to add more items like printer, laptop bag, external hard drive and cooling fan for laptop plus the warranty and membership The lady named Lisa helped us getting all these items and promised us huge discount on the complete package and for that she need to discussed it with his supervisor names Navdeep who was very cold and rude person and have a very bad attitude. So he offered only $50 off from entire package. And when we asked a little bit more discount. His reaction was like take it or leave it. We were so disappointed so we only buy the laptop as it was our urgent necessity. Never buy anything from this store ever again. Moreover when we came back after 1 week to pick our laptop because software need to be installed in it then even Lisa gave us the cold shoulder. She even ignored us though she saw us So disappointed. Store had excellent variety of electronics but the employees are really really bad. Very poor customer service.

The sales people ignore you. I was shopping for a new gaming monitor for my PC and I had already been to Memory Express just up the street where they sell the same products for the same prices across the board. The sales people at Memory Express treat you like you business matters, your money matters and your time matters. I cannot say the same for this bestbuy location. Even though the greeter at the front entrance radioed someone to let them know I was coming down to that section of the store, I stood in their monitor section for about 15 mins and watched 3 sales people and a supervisor ignore me while starring at their phones or talking to each other. The store was not overly busy so there is no excuse for this. Then as I was leaving the greeter at the front of the store asked why I hadn't purchased a monitor. I told her what had happened and that I would be dealing with Memory Express. All she did was put a frown on her face like a pouting child. Very unprofessional!!

Absolutely worst customer service, First of all i orderd HP desktop online from best buy website. what i got was desktop without windows activated. tried calling best buy 5 times and no support at all. then one of the customer support tried connecting me to Geek squad to SCAM me with more money ( around 100 bucks ) and fix the problem which shouldn't have been at first place. then when i refused to give any extra money, i was transsferd back to customer service where customer service rep told me his supervisor will call me back since he is busy. its been 4 hours i never got a call back so i tried calling best buy again and at the end best buy told me they can not do anything. imagine spending 700 dollars and getting computer without windows activated. best buy will not return the product and asking now 100 bucks to activate windows where windows should have been already activated ******SCAMMERS******

I brought my desktop in after newly purchasing it to receive support. I was unaware that I didn’t have the right geek squad protection. Instead of calmly, reflecting that I didn’t have the right protection, Parveet from the geek squad desk proceeded to belittle me and talk down to me and tell me that I was in the wrong about the information in a very rude and loud tone. When I told him I have both the two year plans from Best Buy and geek squad he was momentarily more level with his tone, yet when he identified that it wasn’t the right protection he went right back to being rude. This kind of behaviour towards someone who literally just spent $6000 less than a month ago on a gift for their child is absolutely unacceptable. This kind of behaviour would be unacceptable if I spent a dollar !! I will not be returning to this Best Buy, and I highly recommend if you’re a black woman you don’t either.

I just came in to Best Buy excited for a purchase of a new laptop. I spent the last few days doing research and with my loyalty I always go to Best Buy for all my tech. But today I had a sour experience. The first guy I talked to was so lovely and kind he then handed me to this woman (savita ) who’d help me find my laptop. I knew what I wanted budget etc. she was rude and pretty much made me pull up everything on the website. She had no idea what I was talking about. Then at the end she tries to sell me a laptop that is out of my budget like I told her. She then tries to convince me to finance. I rate here 0 stars but the guy at the front was so kind and even said a great good bye. This woman needs be properly trained in first customer service and then the product she is selling. She didn’t even explain an ounce of a thing to me. Terrible terrible service !!!

Purchased what I thought was a brand new TV from this location. The person helping me out offered me the $300 warranty on the tv. Then told me he could give me the warranty for $150 which I accepted. I was pretty excited about the purchase so I didn't notice the fact that the tv box didn't have the straps holding it together and also had clear tape in its place. When I got home and unboxed it the remote was not in the cut out in the styrofoam where it should be. I finally realized that they sold me an open box product under the guise of it being brand new when I took a look at the warranty portal and saw the my purchase price on my warrenty is much lower than the tv is sold for. Meaning the discount on my warrenty came from the fact that they sold me a cheaper open box tv with out my knowledge. Very unhappy with my experience here.

The customer service at this location was great, BUT it is extremely disapointing when you go to buy a product advertised online with certain features and are told that it is not as advertised. I caution anyone who looks into this online product base cause these products DO NOT have the features advertised. Not that they just didn't have any in stock but that they do not carry anything like it, for the advertised price. Buyer beware when buying from this company. We found the perfect laptop with all the features we were looking for, the associate pulled the exact one from the website model/product number and we bought it. Got home and it didn't have the features that were advertised and we were told they didn't have anything like that. Again customer service was great but the products are not always as advertised be careful!!!

By far the worst bestbuy in Calgary with the exception of some hero employees. Ordered a laptop from them in mid October, waited weeks beyond the guaranteed pick up date and it came with issues. They failed to set it up completely or damaged the trackpad. We returned it and got a new one only to have them mess up the install and touch screen didn't work on the laptop. Returned it again and finally received one that worked but of course they forgot to set it up even though it sat with them all day. You'd imagine there would be some sort of priority but clearly not. Avoid this bestbuy unless your item is in stock and ready to go without them touching. Thanks to the female employee that made this bearable, if only we met you at the beginning. Will not be coming back here or referring anyone unless dealing with her.

Whatever you do, DO NOT sign up for their geek squad protection or best buy membership. I had signed up for 1 year and tried to cancel when my home had been broken into and no longer had the product I was signed up for service for, they told me I would have to pay a fee for discontinuing service as well as the remainder of the year , now they are still charging me a monthly fee for this service and they refuse to remove my payment information. I now have to go to my bank and close the account to prevent being charged further. I will never shop at bestbuy again for this reason. I will add they have charged me 3 months,as well as 2months after cancelling and I've been trying to get them to stop I never agreed to another year and payed what they said I had to to get it to cancelled back in September.

I bought laundry set from best buy, nothing is wrong with it, im here to give a review for their service associate. One of their associate named AJ was being so sarcastic, while dealing with him for installation of our laundry set we ask him a question that if their delivery guys will only deliver the product or do the rest too like installation, his answer was(in sarcastic tone), what do you mean by do the rest? they are not gonna wash your clothes. It feels soo rude to me I was with my sister and brother and they didn't want to make a deal with him but anyhow I bought my laundry set but In future I want Best buy to give more attention to their staff's behaviour regarding their customers I wish I could rate him less than one star Mr. AJ has been so sarcastic and have no work ethics

Activated a new business line through best buy as they have some great Black Friday promos going on! Between Sarah and Emann the service was phenomenal! They really took the time to explain the options with the selections of phones, the plans and warranty’s. They even went the extra mile when geek squad was understaffed to cut and install a free screen protector on my brand new Google Pixel 7pro! Would give them more than 5 stars if I could just for the level of service and brand representation that they bring. Keep in mind they are hard working ladies during a very busy time of the season. So having some patience, understanding and flexible expectations go a looooong way! Please be nice and they will go above and beyond!

I purchased a gaming chair for my husband fir his birthday. When we received it the box was damaged but contents seemed fine. We assembled the chair as per instructions. Within a month the chair began to lean to one side and the lifting mechanism would no longer work. We attempted to contact the store and was told there was no returns at that time. We attempted multiple times to call and ask about returns and was told, "Not yet". We were paying on the chair from time of purchase. We were able to finally get an answer about returns to find out we had passed the available return window.. I am still paying on a broken chair and they are doing nothing to rectify the situation except hanging up on me!! Not impressed!!

Went to the store on September 7, around 2 o clock. The Team Lead at Customer service was such a sweet heart and offered us to help. We couldn’t find a receipt for something that was in warranty and she went Above and beyond to help us with the same product. She made sure we were helped and when nobody else was helping us she decided to jump in and do it herself. Once again i would like to Thank her for such a great and mesmerising experience. Never had this Good customer experience associate at any store ever in MY LIFE! Trust me that is a very big word to say for me but I think she definitely deserves some extra respect and once again Thank you so much and Best buy! Definitely recommending the location.

Bad experience here. First time came looking for a freezer, there was no one around and I asked someone who was just sitting on his phone to help and he reluctantly said he would be with me shortly, and then came like 10 minutes later. He showed one freezer and told me go look online for the rest, and left. Horrible customer service, the whole reason people come into the store is to see the products and ask questions. 2nd time I came looking for a camera and got ignored the whole time I was there, while being passed by multiple employees. I was in a hurry so just left anyway instead of chasing someone down first. Won't be back to this location ever again, and wish the Sarcee location was never closed.

Definitely not coming back to this location. I don’t give bad reviews but I really had a very bad experience in this best buy location. Came here to activate a new phone. But no enough staff in the “cellphone” booth/area but still decided to patiently wait in the que. Then a staff told us to take a seat and someone will help us. Waited for awhile but nobody helped us. Then a staff came and the other customer talked to him and the staff entertained them without even asking beforehand who came first in the line. So I told the staff we were here first but we haven’t been helped. Then he just told me he will call another staff and to wait…. Wait??? For how long? For another hour???!!!! Crazy…..

UPDATE: Went home and ordered my need online. Went to the Marlborough location for the pickup and had fabulous help from Divya. She took time, didn't push me out the door and answered questions I had pertaining another issue. Bye-bye Sunridge box store. Have a helpful location to use. A negative 5 Stars would be a better rating. Every single floor person on this building should be fired. The only person who gave me one moment of help, was the greeter. There were 3 young girls playing with a computer and 4 men wandering around clutching their clipboards. I doubt making this lot work on straight commission would even help their attitudes. This is strike 3 for this store. I will never be back.

Wanted to buy a muse in the personal care area, was told to go to the area three times and a sales Rep would come help me. Went and waited each time only to go search out employees who were all in different groups talking and laughing, each time I went and asked for help got told to go to the section and they'd get someone to help me. It was at a time when the store was dead so I could tell the groups of employees weren't busy with customers they just wanted to socialize with each other. Disappointing service I eventually just left after not being helped for the third time and waiting 10 minutes for the third time. It's cool, you simply didn't want my money

Consultants who stand in groups and do not approach, there is no interest in work and sales. My friend and I stood there for 10 minutes, they saw us, but no one came up. We decided to go to the consultant, said that we were not from this product and would call ours, no one came, we waited another 10-15 minutes and went to the consultant again. You know, if I hadn't searched for the product I wanted, I wouldn't have bought anything in this store. I would have laughed if there were a lot of customers, but there were only a few. Before that, I visited Best Buy in another neighbourhood, and if everything there was above 10, then here it was definitely 2.

I went there yesterday for buying apple watch series 3 when I entered then I talk with salesman name of Jazzy and I said I need Apple Watch series 3 then he was so rude and said we don’t have any watch series 3 we sell only 7 then one more time I said my friend bought same watch 2 days ago from here but he has same reply we don’t have any watch 3. Most irritating sales, i have purchased their geek squad membership a few years back on a laptop and it was the biggest waste of money and even back then they were persistent on getting you to purchase membership, they never pick up, wouldn't fix your product properly. Aside from that my biggest issue was how annoying the higher sales rep get when it comes to their membership. Younger salesmen was understanding and did not force it upon me and that was respectable, UNTIL A HIGHER MANAGER CAME and she would not take no for an answer and kept on talking, if i say no just let me be dont keep shoving that garbage of a membership down my throat.

I fell for the upsell for the in-house warranty - it was very hard to cancel. (They refused to cancel from the store, but when I was waiting on hold for upwards of an hour I listened to this message over and over where they told me I could go to a store to cancel the warranty.) I ran out of patience. I hung up, went back to the store and made a scene. I was assured that they would cancel the warranty, but they did not. They made a sale for a warranty period of three years. Upgraded my phone in January 2022. Bought the Geek Squad Protection Plan as well. However, they didn’t have any screen protectors in stock at the time. I came in at least 4 times from January-March looking to get a screen protector installed. I give them my phone number and details but they still said I don’t have a protection plan with them even though I get charged $18.89 every month for it. I ended up paying around $40 for a screen protector and installation. Ended up paying close to $80 for a useless protection plan for 4 months. I highly recommend avoiding the protection plan if you want a screen protector for your phone.

I got to admit spending a $1000 on a laptop I expected better service. I had to ask 4 separate sales reps for help before anybody was willing to help me. I bought the demonstration model with no discount offered. Then I was told at 2:30 p.m. I have to 8:00 p.m. To get my computer so they can unlocked and reset it before allowing me to take it home with me. 10 min task at most. I just went in at 5:00 p.m. and it's still not ready I was told I might have to wait another hour and half. This is absolutely crazy considering there is nothing but reps standing around geek squad included I hope ❤Amazon❤ takes over..

AVOID Yellow clip board sales associate. I requested for help to find a lab top that was small dimensions and didn't need large computing power to keep it cost effective. I don't know if they run off commission but he informed me he would find the best computer 14" or smaller. The yellow clip board associate immediately ditched me and then proceeded to help other customers in different parts of the store. After 30 min I requested help from another associate who tried selling me a display model at full price. Clearly I was a joke to them and they zero intentions on making a legitimate quick sale.

Worst delivery services ever received. Wish can rate with NO STAR at all. We purchased a TV in store & scheduled the delivery with Geek Squad a week later. Turns out no one shown up on delivery day which we have been waiting from 9-7pm, called BestBuy CS, they said they cannot find our order and will give us a call back. We kept waiting for more than 1 day. No one reaching back. And we needed to keep calling to chase our order. HOW RIDICULOUS! Now we have to wait for 2 more days for our TV. Will never purchase any delivery from BestBuy again. Please be aware when you schedule your delivery.

This specific store has everything that counts as electronic. Don't trust the website since they might say that there are 2 of that item available, but when you arrive, only one in stock. If you want something specific, make sure the website says 3 or more available. The checkout, customer service, and front welcome are great. The only problem I had was when I asked a staff member about the location of an item he was on the computer and talking with another staff member, he said look for it in that section. I mentioned that i did, and he said just look carefully in that section.

Ive been to this location a couple of times and purchased a few bigger ticket items (a tv/soundbar, Nintendo switch) I don’t rely on the staff for helping with items as I generally do my research and know what I want when I arrive so it’s a quick in and out. However I went to buy some screen protectors for my phone and found them to be extremely expensive. $40-50 for iPhone 14 pro screen protectors. I walked right out as they are on Amazon for $10. More like Worst Buy on those. Do your research before you go into a brick and mortar location as some items will be way marked up.

Check out service was pretty disappointing- there was one lady working the Customer Service til with a line of 6 people. The normal checkouts had not a single employee at them. Stood and waited patiently for over 5 minutes when I noticed an employee coming up to the front. It turns out his only purpose was to grab his Starbucks order sitting near the cash registers and casually walk away as we continued to stand at the check outs. Waited for another 3-4 minutes until a lady finally came up to the front and cashed us out silently. Pretty disappointed with the service today.

I have been trying to call for 6 minutes. I hung up after 2 mins each time. They didn't pick up, which is ridiculous. I am trying to look for an instore item, but how could I know if it's in stock if they don't pick up their phone. And it says it's not busy.. so I do not understand why they can't pick up their phone. Also, I understand I could just go on the website, but I thought it would have been more convenient to call. I was wrong. EDIT. Id also like to say, that other Best buy's might have mediocre customer service, but at least they pick up their phone.

I wanted to pass along my great experience with this branch, the manager and the staff. I had bought an HP printer from them for my home use. Long story short it was junk and I had no end to troubles with it. The service manager Maysa and the branch manager Samim were excellent in their approach with me and how they handled me as a customer. They gave me full exchange for the printer and directed me to another one (Canon) which I have had NO issues with. I believe in customer service/experience, and these two exemplified this in every way. Thank you both.

I was standing in front of car dash-cam section for almost 15-20 min, no one even bothered to talk to us. I understand that it was almost 10 mins left for closing the store after wasting our 15-20 min for the clarification. Thanks to the security who checked that were we still doing ok as he wanted to let us know that store is going to be closed in 10 mins and apologized on behalf of the so called store representative whom i noticed to be walking here and there and pretended to be super busy. My elderly parents were harassed by the phone plan employees. They knew what phone and plan they wanted but we're disregarded and disrespected by staff. They were at best buy at the phone plan section for 4 hours to get the phone and plan they had selected prior to visiting the store. Staff were assisting other clients who came after them to the store and totally disregarded them. Staff had also taken the current cell phone away from them. Very bad training as they are disrespectful to seniors. I would not recommend going to this location again.

I bought google pixel buds, tried them on for 5 mins not happy with the sound (very bad quality - not recommended). I came to this store to return, the staff said I CAN NOT return them because of hygiene reason. That socked me to tell you the truth. I asked her so how am I supposed to know if the product is what it advertised? She told me you can try the instore ones. So how is this hygiene? In all fairness what she said is brainless. I could not comprehend that. Do Not buy anything from this store if you can buy it else where. They are crooks!

I just came in today looking for Labour Day deals specifically for Lenovo tablets. I was standing in the middle and nobody entertains me not even one. All the sales tech guys were running around. I call one of them and he said sorry i was another customer. It’s okay i said but he never got back at me and I saw later with another customer other than the previous one. So I went in to get a new cell phone. It was advertised that you would get a gift card with new activations. There was even still signage saying that you could. Apparently this location doesn't believe in updating their signage and would not even honour it as it was done yesterday ( even though if you looked closely the sign said Nov 29). So two day old signs are still up, and the manager was really really rude about it. Update your signs!!!! Don't bother going to this location for a new phone

He is a wonderful young chap who basically provided the solution to my needs with ease and charm. A few other customers interrupted him as he was dealing with me and he was able to handle all queries in a timely and efficient manner. Arrived at 1910 just to find a closed store with a steady flow of potential customers being turned away, many just as surprised by the limited hours. The frustrating part is that businesses will continue to complain about everyone buying online. I was able to order the item I came for and have it delivered before the store would re-open the next day. Companies who operate like this are the architects of their misfortune.

inadequate customer service. I spent maybe 30 to 45 minutes in the store without being approached once. There were up to three groups of employees standing around. The shop wasn't busy. Although I generally understood what I was looking for, I unfortunately turned to Google on my phone when I needed some advice. While she was the first person I spoke with in the store, the cashier was excellent and made sure I received a product that was supposed to be free with my purchase.

Adam was fabulous, patient, responsive, helpful and professional. If I can recall, He was not working on front desk though but being a customer we expect employees like him to be working on front desk in order to provide us with satisfactory customer service. They are the only ones poorly stocked...a lot of items in tots on the floor instead of being placed on the isle. Employees can't say hi, probably new recruits that haven't been trained properly. They charged the credit card for $2000.00 for t.v.s, etc then lied about it. The shopper is visually impaired; they did not give him a receipt. When the bank was contacted, the charge was there. Best Buy then said it would take up to 5 business days for the money to be returned... Geek Squad also has no idea what they're doing. Two days in a row, several hours wasted and nothing to show for it. Take your business elsewhere!

The security gard lady that was there today was pretty bad at her job. The moment my husband me and my 7 year old kid came into the store we were followed immediately by the security lady at the door like we were criminals. Was debating what to rate the store but here’s my justification, lots of parking, loud stereo blaring as you walk in so it’s hard to hear anything. Today it everyone was busy preparing for Black Friday sales I had to confront someone to open the headphone cabinet and spend 400 dollars. No how are you no nothing. Placed an order, drove an hour to the store and arrived just for it to be cancelled a few minutes prior. Then after that had to make countless calls and put hours into trying to get money back. I still haven’t received my money and am now being told this may take up to 15 business days. As this issue was a screw up on there end, you would think getting my money back would be a little bit easier.

I generally like Best Buy with their extensive return policies. The only issue is the staff: very hard to get a hold of a staff member and the few staff members working the floors are always busy with customers. Based on other reviews, Best Buy could improve by hiring a bit more floor staff.

Went to Geek to have a look at my laptop bought it a year ago obviously don’t have the receipt. Terrible 60$ just to look and perform a test. Laptop isn’t turning on was working perfectly fine. I just went home I don’t think I ever want to buy anything from these guys ever again.
