Best buy customer service Department or to whom ever it may concern . I just want to relate my experience which I came across with the customer service with one of store dated 12 March 2015 Location: 2525 36 Street Northeast, Calgary, AB T1Y 5T4 I brought the Linksys wifi router in May 2014 from the above location. The price was 119 $ but I was given for the price of 89 dollar (due to match pricing policy ) by one of sales staff . I purchase the warrenty for 29 $ for 3 years. So on 12 march Thursday that Linksys wifi router was not working . I went to location and from the computer at customer service desk they pull out the receipt. As the product was not on stock and company has stop manufacturing the product , so I was told to get another product by customer service Dept. so I went to Aile and selected the neat gear wifi router for the price of 149.99 $ , and requested to give me with the discount. They told No we cannot give it but will charge 15 dollar for 3 years warrenty instead of 29$. I told why I already paid 29 $ as a warrenty for the product which I was purchase, they told that warrenty is no longer valid now. This shows how rude and doesn’t have courtesy to speak to customer. ( don’t know it was manager or staff) . then I told ok as the product is not working . please return my money , she told NO refund ,will give you Gift card . Then I told on her face I made a mistake of purchasing the product from Best buy ,and person learn from mistake . she told what we can do , I just thought if I get a gift card again I have to go to best buy to get some thing which I really don’t want after seeing this type of customer service . So I went to that Aile again and catch hold of sales staff from the computer dept. he explain as they made a discount for the first purchase , they should give same discount for this product but depend upon the customer service , also you don’t have to purchase 29 $ warrenty plan because you have already purchase , it will get transfer to the new product. Though I was having a Costco member ship and as a walmart employee (10% discount on every product ). Still I made a mistake of buying from Best buy and at last this type of customer service I Face. How frustrating it was Retailers like Costco , walmart , home depot they give the gift card provided if no recipt , or they straight away refund the money without hesitation , if customer is unsatisfied from the product. This is call customer service , and best buy customer service trying to cheat me 1)by charging 15 $ for warrenty for 3 years .(2) by not refunding the money and try to give gift card of 89 $ After taking the information from the computer dept. sales staff as mention above . I took the neat gear wifi product and told the customer service I will wont pay additional 15 $ warrenty plan for 3 years . this 29 $ will be transfer as I have already purchase the warrenty for previous product . She ask me who told this . I mention about the sales staff from computer dept. Just a humble advice , from my bad experience and as myself ( one person) stop going to best buy, will not affect your sales . But as same experience which I face if treated to all the customer then best buy company will realise , instead of sending the flyer every week door to door , please try to improve the customer service in order to attract the customer like Costco Frustating and poor Customer service , No pricing knowledge Location 2525 36 Street Northeast, Calgary, AB T1Y 5T4
I had placed an order for ear buds with in-person pickup, and received a confirmation email telling me that my item was ready for pickup in store. When I went to pick the store up, the associate told me that they'd sold all of those particular ear buds and that they couldn't fulfill my order anymore (he actually made up a big story about how they must have been stolen... after having opened a locked cabinet in front of me to check for them). He refused to cancel my order and told me that the money should be refunded within three days, and to come back in the store if the money wasn't refunded. The whole time, he was disrespectful and unengaged and basically useless. I would absolutely never come to this Best Buy Mobile location again in the future, absolutely incompetent staff that have no regard for customer service.
Disrespectful, bad mannered, ill tempered staff. Came in and staff are arguing very loudly with another customer. Went to purchase items and the associate doing the transaction didn't say anything, grabbed them items and didn't mention the total or acknowledge us but instead started yelling and arguing with another customer. When I asked him to focus on my transaction, he gave me attitude, and rolled his eyes. Even while going to leave the store he continued to say things under his breathe about not needing to focus on anything. I started to say that yelling at another customer while doing my transaction is incredibly rude and bad customer service so he started raising his voice and us instead. I'm apauled that staff treat customers this way.
This place is just unbearable.. Everybody is a boss.. They talk to you as if you are not going to spend your money here. I was at beacon hill but they didnt have the model I was looking for but they recommended this place to me so I decided to visit this place. I drove all the way from Sage Hill to this place. I felt so bad visiting. It looks like NE Calgary is not a part of Calgary. The Customer Service guys are so rude. You will think they own the store.. Everyone was just not concerned. The people on duty were really annoying and condescending. Anyways I had to look for what I wanted after wandering the shop for almost an hour. I would say my worst experience in an electronic store.
I reserved a laptop from Northland Bestbuy store, and when I arrived, I had to wait for 10 minutes at the reserved/pick up line (It would have been faster if I just go directly to the computer department without making a reservation. At my turn, instead of finding my reserved item, she spent another minutes helping other guests who arrived later than me. She never asked me for Bestbuy reward point and when I asked she said the transaction was already processed so I had to register the purchase through online. So frustrating. Bestbuy customer service is not like a few years ago.
Disappointed with this visit which is unfortunate as in early 2022 I had the most amazing service. Today a staff member came across incredibly short while installing my phone screen & having only made it into the parking lot there's already an air bubble in the center of the screen after paying extra for the installation service. Quite frankly I don't intend on ever returning to this location based off today's experience. I will say despite this, Davya was pleasant and friendly and helped us very quickly, I did not catch the name of the other employee that spoke to us
Just went to this store today to pick up an order that I had placed online with confirmation that my order was ready for pickup. When I got to the store the staff told me that they did not have my product anymore and made up excuses as to why. They didn’t apologize for the inconvenience and had said they would cancel but then would not show us any confirmation. Needless to say I won’t be ordering from this store for any future purchases.
I would love to say that Kris is very nice and respectful he knows how to help out the customer properly and explains everything great I was very happy with the customer service I received at this location by Kris if I could give you a 100 star rating instead of 5 I would cause you really do deserve it ! Thank you so much for your help me and my dad and my sibling were all happy with the service we received from you .

Went in today have been desperately searching everywhere for a charger for my galaxy watch 4 and everywhere I went was not helpful. I stopped by and the sales representative was truly accommodating and solved my dilemma with a dual charging port for both my phone and watch. I left extremely pleased he even pulled everything out to make sure it would work for my watch before I left. Very happy with my service.
My experience is with the Store leader! Her name is Davya! She is an excellent person! Friendly, knowledgeable and very in touch with her customers! The customer service rep was not professional at all, The only reason I purchased earbuds was because one of the best buy customer rep assured me that it can be exchanged if it's not the right fit for my ear, next day when I went back and tried to get'em exchanged I was told no, we don't do exchange or return once after box is opened.

Hassam went above and beyond to service me today. I have been looking all over for a micro usb charger, with no luck. I went to this Best Buy mobile with also all their micro usb’s sold out, but then Hassan went above and beyond suggesting a product within that included the cable! Now that’s good service.
Actually a good place to go to Sean employees are very knowledgeable with all the merchandise they have went and bought a laptop very very cheap price but a nice laptop store was clean everything if you want to go shop that's a nice story to go into the employees do not bother you until you ask for advice

The gentleman there helped me out, got a new phone, and finally got from under telus. The same amount a month but with 10 GB versus telus measly 1.5 GB for $98 a month.
Compared to other best buy mobile outlets, this one is fairly incompetent. I would recommend going to the one in Chinook as they can likely get you a better deal.
