***VERY IMPORTANT *** Read full review. The geek squad was extremely vulgar and insulting. They had no filter and had no remorse when it came to insulting me and my equipment. They were very overly pretentious and obviously had 0% knowledge of what they had took a glance at. I brought in a desktop with all gear adding up to over 4.5k and they presumed it was there for "recycling"...... i will post the under qualified employee as soon as i return when i buy my next 2 purchases an 85 Samsung tv and a 32 inch pc monitor. I will NEVER trust the Carmel mountain best buy to work on anything i purchase. Fyi it took them 6 MONTHS to figure out how a alarm system and new stereo worked in a 2018 tacoma..... they were so under qualified they had to send it to an other best buy costing me 6 months of delay. On the opposite side of the spectrum.... !*NICK*! was soooooooooo amazing and knowledge about ...well everything, then i spent 2.5k on his recommendations alone. IF!!! I return to the store i will be spending no less than 3k this week. But will only deal with Nick. This store has given me nothing but problems since 2018 until Nick. All in all over the past few years I've spent close to 10k at "bestbuy".

I went to this Best Buy on Saturday around 5:30pm. I needed help finding what I was looking for. I found someone quickly and they helped me right away. I went to the checkout line. There was a man at the single open register and the employee behind the counter was looking at a laptop with him. Over the next 10 minutes, I stood in line by myself. The employee behind the register looked at me several times, but never said anything to me. He didn't even acknowledge my presence. Finally I saw the security person appear to call someone on a radio. Another employee came up and scanned something at the register. I asked if he could help me make a purchase. He said they called someone already and left. Several more minutes later, an employee finally came to allow me to give him money for a product they sold. He did ring me up. On the way out there was an employee and the security person who asked how everything went. I explained that I waited for a long time without even acknowledgment that I was there. The security person said they had called someone and offered an insincere apology. It is crazy to me that nobody had any interest in taking my money.

Do not buy from this company. Especially this store. They sold me an open box, broken set of power beats ear buds at full price, as NEW and would not give me a refund. When I went to install them, they were already named and would not hold a charge. When I took them to apple, they pulled the serial number up and found they had been sold to someone else and registered for the warranty several months before I owned them. So after wasting tons of time and gas and hours on the phone, I finally brought them back to return them and they refused to give my money back and would only give me store credit. I had no choice but to exchange the stupid headphones even tho I wanted nothing more than to just buy them directly from apple, who are amazing and back up their products. This company is garbage. The person who helped me was rude, never apologized once for their complete screw up, and offered me nothing after the ordeal I had to go through. NEVER BUYING ANYTHING HERE AGAIN. #worstbuy

Walking in no more than 5 ft in door 3 sales people, one after another ask what you need and direct you to general vicinity while calling another sales person to find what you need. All this hype when I only wanted a cable. By the time I was met by a sales person with the cord I had said which type 4 times. Cord box was handed to me repeating the type I needed. My bad, I did not read the box closely until home. Wrong cord! This is not the first time similar has occurred at this location. When I shop what I need, I am usually right on or confirming with another. Don't assume when it is handed to you. 3 other items I wanted to price weren't even in stock but understandable with pandemic. Just need to update what shows IN stock online.

If I could give Best Buy a zero this would best suit the review. The service we received in the store was amazing. When our appliances were delivered that's a whole different story. The two men that came to install were very very rude and disrespectful. They were not wearing gloves and one of the men got in my face to ask me for a check. He did not adhere to the 6 feet distance rule! We had to pay more money out of pocket for the work he did. He had to cut quite a bit of our wood frame away for our new oven to fit. This left us with an inch gap. Which we now have to call someone else to fix it. I would not use best buy for installing your appliance's. They will leave your kitchen in a right bloody mess!!

There is no customer service by employees. I came in looking for a HDMI cable, and I had to almost find it myself. One employee walked past me, and I know I looked lost. Finally one employee I walked up to pointed out the general location of the cables and continued on his way. I didn't get a good feeling, and I'm on the verge of going mail order next time. The store seems to have a lot of empty shelves with no product visible. I'm not going back to this location. I didn't complain to anyone in the store. I just wanted out. Very sad. I've had a Best Buy Credit card for a long time but I don't use it anymore.

My wife and I purchased a Nintendo Switch for our daughter two years ago, a microwave, washer and dryer last year and a dishwasher today. By happenstance, I was helped by the same sales consultant, Dylan, for most of these purchases, and I had a phenomenal buying experience every time. Other staff members I've interacted with have been outstanding as well. The fact that I've had great experiences this consistently for three years tells me this store is doing a lot of things right. Something tells me I'll be back for a fridge or a TV within the next year.

I appreciate being able to use the app ahead of time to see what is in stock, and then in the store to see where I can find items on their site map (HDMI coupler and an SD card). We were also looking for a Predator Box Set which someone had told my dad very nonchalantly another time, "Oh, we don't have it." That night we were there, there was actually an employee pushing a cart labeled movies. They were very courteous and assisted us in our search - which was fruitful - someone had laid it down and set another DVD on top.

I have always loved best buy. I will go there even when I'm not intending on buying anything. I love the experience of seeing and hearing the equipment work. I love their selection of home audio equipment. They have from affordable all the way up to you can't afford this and everything in between. I have bought all of my home entertainment gear from Best buy. They match or beat prices so I avoid buying online. I will continue to go to Best buy and purchase my audio/video gear as long as they stay open.

Just for GEEK SQUAD SERVICE! Consultant agent named SYD MOUSAVI. Repair for a laptop was okay until it was ready to be claimed. It took them 1 month to replace the laptop and not repair, but that was okay. When it was time for pick up, I saw the replacement only have 128GB and I gave them the 256GB laptop so i told Syd about it. I was getting mad cause my son needs the laptop for summer homeworks and Agent SYD keeps on saying he will personally give me an update but no calls or anything. So annoying...

What is happening to best buy? The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one was the fact that they had what I needed. I went in to buy my son a new kids tablet and went to checkout. The checkout associate at the time just mumbled at me while texting on their phone like i was disrupting them. At the end of the transaction they ripped the receipt from the machine and dropped it when I went to reach for it. Just looked at me and back down to their phone.

I just left this horrible place. Rscist and poor customer service. Of course all the good reviews come from a different ethnicity which they can relate to them. I was ready to spend on a brand new phone and a laptop but the service was disgusting. Even with this review you will disregard this message, laugh and say im the only one complaining. Of course because im not white. But yes this is trash.

Order installation cameras in my house, installer came and said he can't do this job, so in this case we going to cancel order and he took cameras with him and left. But they still charged me for cameras and installation...., call costumer service maybe 3hr. spend on phone and no results, so after that had to drive to store and argue there for my money. Never again will do business with BEST BUY

I have a few issues with Best Buy... Lack of Customer Service, some prices were ok but for Black Friday deals definitely not the place to be... I was in need of a GoPro but nobody seemed to want to make a sale. Probably my last trip to Best Buy... Gave them 2 stars though because they are one of the few electronics stores holding their name and the store was clean...

Two other ppl were there same to complain about no help and walked out. The guy that stands by the door could be put to better use…I was ready to spend $1500 on a new stove top but there is no one to help customers

The carmel mtn best buy was the best we went to today !! We went cash in had to purchase a computer, drove to mission Valley best buy. Experienced poor service. Left, went to Carmel mtn and a newly hired sales gentleman took care of us. Made up for the earlier poor experience. We will never go back to mission Valley best buy.

Came in to get a phone case and a screen protector it was a mess, like there had been a black Friday door buster and the following week they still weren't recovered. Could find what I was looking for or an associate to help me. Granted I was in a bit of a hurry. Maybe try order pick up if you already know what you want.

I was assisted by a sales associate within 5 minutes of arriving. The associate provided a solution right away. Checkout was quick. My only issue was that the price I paid was roughly 20 percent higher compared to what I could find online...I just didn't have the time to order as I needed the product right away.

I was looking for a TV for an invalid friend who doesn't have much to spend. When I explained this, the salesperson steered me away from the big screen display and over to the open box section. I was able to get a much better unit thanks to their help. Best Buy just replaced Costco on my preferred list!

Really nice staff but they don't hunt you down like you're some kind of animal to be sold to. Best Buy does price matching and the staff is obviously encouraged to inform you which is fantastic. They're very upfront about their return policy and great at helping you make educated purchasing decisions.

Clean and well stocked. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is they had the regular checkout lanes closed so you had to go to customer service. Several people in front of me had computer issues which took the employees a long time to help troubleshoot so the wait time to checkout was fairly long.

Associates are great. They know whether the store stocks something and where to find it if it does. They’ve fixed 2 of my 3 technical problems. It just takes a while to get an appointment, drop it off, wait for it to be fixed, and then pick it back up. They have a bike rack outside.

Had to wait a little bit do to understaffing. It was a bit after dark, so the store was probably winding done do to lack of customers. I had a store pickup. There were only 2 of us waiting. But once we were helped, we were out of there within minutes.

Ordered online and was later notified via text that package was ready. Found a numbered pickup parking space in the lot. Notified Best Buy via text that I was outside waiting. 90 seconds later, an associate was at my car with the package. Perfect!
