I had a horrible experience in May 2021 with a driver who picked me up at LAX. After a polite initial meeting the driver asked me about my preferred route to my destination. When I replied, the driver told me he knew a better route with less traffic. I politely asked him to take the route I requested as I check Google and there was little to no traffic. He clearly wanted to run up the fare. His demeanor changed. He told me I was wrong and that I knew nothing about driving around LAX (I have worked at the airport since 2013). Then he started to take his route and I politely asked him to comply with my request. He started shouting at me. He took my route but drove like a madman running through two red traffic lights and speeding. I finally got to my destination and politely reminded him that the customer is always right. He then began shouting at me in the middle of the street. After he left I called company customer service and left a message. Nobody had called me back two weeks later. Stay away from this business if possible.

Even though I checked the reviews before going with Beverly Hills Cab and did notice many of the horrible ones, I went ahead and used them on my family's advice. I'm glad I did. The cab showed up at the designated time, right on the money. The driver was very friendly, granted he had a thick middle eastern accent that wasn't easy to understand at first. It's understandable that cabs aren't the cleanest places on earth, but this one was close to it. Along the way he would respond to my comments in a jovial manner. It was a quick ride to LAX, about 30 minutes. He dropped me off, helped with the bags, and I gave him a decent tip for the ride ($5 for a $45 ride from Brentwood). My only complaint would be that the person I spoke with on the phone to make the reservation was a little rude; just took my information and hung up. That guy hates his job. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience. No one likes to take a cab, but this was probably one of the best ones I've had in the States.

I took a ride from LAX with driver #6844 in cab #3207 on Jul 15, 2022 and let me tell you, this driver is the reason that UBER and LYFT exist! He took me on a longer more circuitous route that drove my fare up to $46 to go from just LAX to Mar Vista. He insisted that the highway route was much quicker. But when I checked with Google Maps, it was clear that it wasn't. Then when I voiced my complaint to him during the ride, he just ignored me and drove on. To make matters worse, I think he applied some sort of surcharge at the end. In any event, an UBER/Lyft would have been about half the price. It was my mistake for giving a cab company another chance and for trusting him. If this driver is a reflection of the Beverly Hills Cab Co, then they don't deserve another chance and instead should and will be driven into the ground by the transparency and hassle-free experience offered by the car-sharing businesses. RIP.

Had a doctors appointment at 1 PM. And feeling well so call Beverly Hills Cab at 12:15. I have never been let down by Beverly Hills Cab and have been using them for 26 years. Was told by the lady that answered that the cat would be there in 5 to 10 minutes. After waiting almost a half an hour I called and was told no one was scheduled to pick me up. The person that answered said he had no drivers to send. It would be good in these instances if someone would call me back and tell me No one would be picking me up. It was too late to try another service so I got in my car and drove. Fortunately the doctors office was very understanding. I always considered Beverly Hills cab the “gold standard“. Very sad. It’s all about communication if I had been told to begin with that there were no drivers to send, I would not have ended up late for my doctors appointment.

Had the unfortunate experience of being assigned to a cab run by Beverly Hills Cab Company last night at LAX. Driver couldn't seem to understand where we wanted to go, didn't really seem to want to know either. I looked up the hotel and directed him. On the way, he had both his windows open in the front of the car, and when my wife told him twice that she was freezing, he just ignored her. When we arrived at the hotel, I asked him if he had ever been to the hotel before, and his response was super rude, said he had been there a thousand times and I was giving him the wrong name... like somehow his rude behavior was my fault. The hotel name is clearly printed in 30 foot glowing white letters across the top of the building, you can read them from a mile away. Driver was just a total asshat. Will refuse to accept service from this company in the future.

Taxi #3333 Me and my wife took a taxi from LAX to Downey Ca on October 27 at about 11:00am, there’s no traffic and it was fast; the fare was $82.00, so I was going to charge it on my credit card but I change my mind and pay the driver cash, I got $192.00 on my wallet but I accidentally gave it all to him thinking it’s only $92.00, and he ask me, are you going to pay me with all of this, twice, and I said yes thinking it’s only $92.00; that Saturday on the 27th, I called the Beverly Hill Co twice because my calls was not returned, the next day, Saturday I called again and the operator told me that I already called and they already forwarded my concerns to the admin, October 30, Monday morning I called again and now it’s already 9:20pm and no response yet from their admin or their office. I’m still going to wait for that $100 I deserve to get it back.

Horrible service, Super rude drivers and Bad smell inside their cars. I called them to pick me up at 3:48 pm, I got my cab at 4:45 pm after 4 times calling and driver started to using very rude words as soon as I got in the cab, he said why I called them to give me a ride for 3 blocks away when I can walk, I said that's your job sir, doesn't matter if it's 2 blocks away or more so he went on and on so I decided to call company and complain to the manager, they transfer me to 'Garry' I explained the situation, I said he needs to speak to his drivers to respect customers and clean their car, guess what, he started to fight with me, he was super rude as well so I discontinue the conversation, this time was the last time I called this company. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, I ALREADY DOWNLOAD UBER AND I'LL USE THEM FROM NOW ON.

I so wish I could leave zero stars. The driver was nasty when I couldn't give him my destination address immediately -- because I dropped my phone and the battery came out when I was loading my three large suitcases into the cab myself. Then when his credit card machine wouldn't work he started cursing me and telling me viciously that I didn't know English. Except I do. I was born and raised in Minnesota. As if that has any effect on the functionality of the credit card machine anyway. After he called in my payment, he refused me a receipt because I didn't use the card machine...the one that didn't work. I have never been treated so rudely--and pay 70 DOLLARS for it. I will avoid this company at all costs forever. There's never a reason to treat another person the way I was treated, let alone a paying customer.

Driver #530789, cab #3216 I called the number from taxi stand 7 at LAX, as I’ve done before. I don’t think this driver was the one sent by dispatch - I believe he just showed up after seeing me standing there. At any rate, he told me it would be $30 to go 1/2 mile down the street. I told him to never mind because the price should only be $19 and I would wait for the next taxi. Instead of leaving, he had a fit, threw my bags in the trunk and said he’d take me to my hotel for $19. He then proceeded to yell and berate me the entire time. I finally told him he was being a jerk and needed to stop, but that just made it worse. He then proceeded to scream obscenities at me for the remainder of the drive and as I was walking away from the cab.

My girlfriend and I took a ride with this cab company. I advised the driver that my ride is a short drive. Approximately 2.5 miles. He immediately complained about the short drive and he's not making any money. He was rude and unprofessional. In the vehicle he tried to negotiate for cash instead of turning the meter on. I advised him to turn the meter on. He continued to complain and drove like a mad man. I noticed the meter was not running and once we arrived at our final destination he demanded cash. I told him why he didn't turn the meter on, but he kept arguing with me about his short drive. Unfortunately I didn't want to have a verbal agreement with him and I paid cash. I will be calling his company and file a official complaint.

I was at LAX looking to get home from a long trip, I was lucky enough to have gotten a Beverly Hill Cab to take me home, the driver was one of the best drivers I have had, he was a very courteous driver. After arriving home all bags were unloaded and off i went to relax after a long day! A few hours later I noticed I had forgotten a small backpack that was in the back seat of the CAB, this contained My I-Pad, I- Phone, Checkbook, camera, and a few credit cards!!! I thought all was lost! I spoke with Joesph at the Beverly Hills Cab, he made a few calls, and within thirty minutes my bag with all items was returned to me by the Taxi driver Mohamad. I will always request Beverly Hills Cab when traveling from LAX. Thanks guys...

Rude driver, weird smell in car, my ride was at 1 am, driver kept babbling about how much time he saves us on FasTrak while there’s literally no car on the normal lane (cuz it’s 1 am!) and he’s driving normal speed. I thought he was just trying to find something nice to talk about. We travelled 5 miles on the freeway but when dropping off he forced me to tip 12 dollars for FasTrak. When I refused and tipped 3 dollars he started cursing and yelling at me. Also drove super recklessly, horned to a lady to cut in line for a turn he missed. I hope LAX increase the standard for qualifying cab companies. Worst cab experience of my life. License plate *2688** Beverly Hills Cab Co.

No Stars if I could, Driver of cab #3204 was illegally driving on the shoulder and basically forced his way into the lane by threatening to ram the other peoples cars. I was one of those drivers and then he proceeded to flick me off and threw something out of his car that dented my car before speeding off and running 3 red lights in order to get away. I called the manager and reported him, all he asked for was the pictures of the dent to my car which he then claimed he could not see( images posted below) I will be taking it to the police as he basically hit my car and ran and hopefully resolve this with the legal system since the company refuses to do anything about it.

Do NOT use this taxi company. I 'reserved' a van to LAX for a 5:30am pick up for my daughter, her husband, their baby and myself. The man who took the reservation confirmed all the details the night before. We got us and the baby ready and outside at 5:30am but no taxi arrived. When I called, I was told "We don't have a van, but we're trying to find one." Unbelievable! When asked why I wasn't called the night before about the problem, the woman said we don't have a van available!!! Again, unbelievable. We had to scramble to get to the airport, with a baby and a lot of luggage, and thank God Uber came through. Do NOT use this company. Completely unreliable.

When I lost my Designer wallet.. I had no idea it had landed on the floor of the taxi on my trip to Airport in December. Two days ago I received a phone call from BH Taxi dispatch stating that my driver "ART" had recovered my wallet (from a customer) & Remembered me When he saw my address on my medical card.... He made several attempts to contact me but did not give up and finally returned it to my home... With nothing missing. Its times like these you rebuild trust ... I chose Beverly Hills taxi versus left or Uber for 4:00 a.m. pick up because I trusted I would be safe. They have exceeded my expectations!! ART...THANK YOU. THANK YOU!

Unbelievable. One of their drivers aggressively sped up as I was merging lanes and nearly killed me. Proceeded to drive over 100mph in the left lane, while cutting numerous other drivers off similarly. Called to file a complaint, and was put on hold indefinitely multiple times, then finally told that management wasn't present and that nothing could be done. This is disgusting. A company that is not accountable for dangerous driver behavior is asking for a major lawsuit. The car number was 3337, and was a yound lady in her 20s. Absolutely furious. I can't imagine why they have so many one star ratings with behavior like this.

horrible experience. Cab number 3216 He argued about putting the airconditioning on. Saying he would get covid and all cab drivers are doing this. I said I never heard of such a thing and asked if I wanted to be taken back to the line. I said yes. and then he put the air on but with windows cracked. 15+ minutes worth if this and thru the entire trip. We drove in circles trying to get to my daughter's apt saying if I told him what area of town she lived in he wold have gone a different way. I gave him the addresss...ugh. The he said look at the traffic, I am losing money on this fare. I lost money as I was charged over $60.

I don't generally use cabs, preferring ride shares, but chose to take a cab from LAX recently. The usual reasons I don't take a cab had to be suffered through. 1. giving turn by turn directions because unlike cities like London, drivers here don't have to learn the roads 2. asked for cash on arrival 3. issues with the credit card machine and issuing receipts. Anyway, my card subsequently was charged twice. Usually I am pessimistic that I will resolve a situation like this, but Beverly Hills Cab co were very helpful and reversed one of the charges and issued me receipts for both charges within the hour.

I am standing at LAX right now - NO THANKS TO BEVERLY HILLS CAB - we made a reservation last night for early this AM ( we explained that last time the driver didn’t show up & we almost missed flight - they assured us that that wouldn’t happen again).. this morning , we did not receive their call 30 mins before the driver was supposed to arrive ( as promised) so we called & they informed us that no driver was available .. we have using this company for 20 years but we can’t justify using them anymore- scrambling for an Uber at the last minute at 3:30 is not the move !

My first time to LA for business meetings and not a good impression thus far. The taxi driver, cab 3386, was upset because I couldn’t tell him how to get to the hotel and he had to use his GPS. Was angry I didn’t know how far it was, and then his credit card machine did not give me a receipt right away and he accused me of not being able to read or follow directions. Completely rude, belligerent, and drove like he was in the Indy 500 getting out of the airport. I’ll wait for another taxi company at the airport before I’d take this company ever again.

This is a review for people potentially like me, who don't want to put their early morning airport pickup in the hands of lyft or uber. Called the day before and made an apt for 4:45am pick up. Seeing some negative reviews I made the apt earlier than needed incase no one showed up. The driver showed up completely on time. The driver was courteous enough, got me to the airport in good time (I live in Mid city). Because the ride was cheaper than lyft or uber I ended up tipping the guy more. I will be using this company again

Worst experience of my life. I booked the cab ride to the airport 3 weeks before my flight. I called the night before to make sure they were coming, and then again 45 minutes before they were to arrive. They said they were 20 minutes away. I waited and waited until they were 15 minutes late. I called them again and they told me "they can't guarantee me a cab will show up!" I jumped in my car and barely made my flight. I had to pay for expensive parking at the airport. I will never call Beverly hills cab again!

On 12/18/14 at 4:20p a Beverly Hills Cab Co driver ran a red light on Olive Avenue in Burbank at Lima Street and nearly struck my car and a pedestrian crossing the street. The driver of the blue and white minivan was traveling at a high rate of speed going south toward Warner Brothers Studio. I called their 800 number twice to complain and twice was put on hold without being able to leave my complaint so now I am leaving it for all of you. Extremely unsafe driver in Burbank today and poor customer service.

I was going to rant on how bad they are but I realized that they never even fix the problems. The drivers are very distracted in something else. Sometimes they don't even look straight ahead in the road. They are very rude and disrespectful. Cab #3244 Mosstafa is very rude he spoke to my mother in a very high and disrespectful tone. HORRIBLE! Rude drivers. Picked me up for and from surgery and lectured me on how to and not to call a cab. Said I shouldn't have made pre reserved appointments with them just went outside and waived a cab....after surgery, and anesthesia, and stitches in a wheel chair. They specify they do MEDICAL appointments. Clearly the drivers aren't trained for this aspect. Call anyone else for the love of god to avoid being B**ched at by some grumpy driver.

I called from my home at 6:30 to request a cab. They said it would arrive in 10 to 15 minutes. I called back at the fifteen minute mark and was told it would take another five minutes. I called back fifteen minutes after that and was told the cab was at the airport. I live 20-25 minutes from the airport in good traffic. I understand now why Uber is eating these guys' lunch. It's not just the lower price. It's the service.

Called at 8.05am yesterday for pickup. Was told 10-15 mins. Called back after 30 mins to check how much longer. Was told 5-10. Ended up getting picked up at 8.55am - 50 mins after I ordered. The taxi driver was rude and got aggressive when we left a $1 tip. For the service we received he didn't deserve a tip at all but he was yelling at us to give him a bigger tip. Disgusted with this company and the driver - STAY AWAY

Several times have ordered an XL (6 seater) ride to the airport. Every time, I’m promised a ride and either no one shows up or the wrong size vehicle shows up. Once of the last 6 times has it worked; every other time I use a rideshare. I call back for status updates and they promise 5-10 minutes, but no one ever shows up. Maybe for a regular taxi, but I’ve been burned too many times to ever call back. Caller beware.

Rude driver, called me a liar for no reason. Funny thing is, I could read a message sent by dispatcher during the ride: "PLEASE BE NICE AND RESPECTFUL WITH EVERY CUSTOMER. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE ANY CLIENT. PER MANAGEMENT" That should have been a sign — apparently their drivers need to be reminded of basic professional courtesy, b/c they don't have it... Made a complaint to management and got no response. Avoid!

I called to order a taxi and they were all very rushed, they didn’t ask my pick up address so I assumed that they knew since I gave them my phone number. I waited and called a second time to check up on it. They had no recollection/ proof That I made the original order and they rushed me AGAIN. And no one came...so I called a different service and that company (not this one) came within 5 minutes.

Visiting LA with a disabled friend... taxi driver #3396 was clearly put out for having to drive a short distance, wanted only cash and proceeded to demean and intimidate us by yelling and pounding on the credit card machine when we refused to give him cash. Most unprofessional, scary experience... don't bother calling, they put you on hold...call uber, Lyft.... ride a bus, this was the worst!!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!! Avoid at all costs. Only took cab because there was a shortage of rideshares at LAX airport. Drivers last name is CHOWDHURY. The man tried to SCAM us and then BERATED us threatening to call the police because we didn’t fall for his scam. Worst experience of my life in a cab. Would never ride one again- this is exactly why it is going out of business.

I booked a cab to go to the airport and no one showed. I called and said they had a shortage of available cabs. I asked when I could get a cab and they said they would call me. 45 minutes later they said they may be able to get a cab in 20 minutes. I said I would miss my flight. They simply said sorry. I took an Uber. Pretty pathetic. Not sure how they stay in business.

Ive been using Beverly HIlls Cab Co for over 3 years now and every driver that has picked me up has always been professional, pleasant and arrives in a timely manner. Unlike the other cab companies that are rude and have a heavy foot to up their mileage and prices lol, Beverly Hills cab is the best, I will never call another cab company as long as I live in LA.

i used beverlyhills cab from lax to downtown la on 4/7/2016 very rude russian driver thru my luggage on footpath at hotel took the longest route sitting in traffic when traffic was moving freely charged me 98.83 aud 75.05 usd normanly 50 usd on 8/4/2016 refunded 72.05 usd and on 4/5/2016 charged me again 50.50 usd for same trip i would use UBER next time crooks

Worst experience and case of fraudulence I have ever come across. We were robbed of 155 US dollars and they only send back 30. Have not answered our calls or got back to our emails. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS AND CATCH AN UBER! This is money I work very hard for and I am disgusted with this company. I will be taking it further once I finished my travels.

I had a cab reserved for 9am never arrived called at 9:05 am and spoke to Karen and asked for a ETA and the only thing she said 5 to 10 mins but no ETA I asked several of times. Then called again at 9:34 am no cab wanted to talk to a supervisor and was told they can not transfer me as per lina if that is her name. worst service ever from dispatch!!!

Terrible. BH cab company drivers don’t even know where the major hotels are (it’s not like I ordered San Diego cab company.) Ordered cab in advance for specific time and they sent the first one 30 mins early and he refused to wait. Then the next cab driver keyed in the wrong street number on address. Just one debacle after another with these guys.

Unethical, unprofessional, will lie continuously and tell you your cab is on the way even when it is 20 minutes more late, cause you to miss your flight, then tell you they will make it up to you with free next time, call back to arrange that out of good faith, lie to you that they ever did that. If you by accident left anything in a taxi cab they will never return your values. Plus when I called to operator he met a lot of obstacles to contact with driver and ask an elementary question if my valuable thinks were still in a car. It was terrible experience I will never use this company again.

Bad service. Took taxi from LAX to city of south gate. instead of staying on 105 fwy he went on 110 fwy than was going all around to the 10 fwy. This is costing us more than it should of have. Don't like this cab company. were only 15 miles from airport Oldguy doesn't know what hedoing.

I have been using BHC for years. The last 3 of 5 trips involved waits of 40 to 50 minutes. The last driver told me there are not enough drivers working there now, so they lie and tell you things like"they're on their way", " got lost" "they are pulling up in front of the house now" etc.

Don’t understand all the negative reviews, they were helpful and prompt with their service. The phone representative said they’d be there in 10 min, 10 min later the cab showed up for the clients I had called for and confirmed everything. Overall great experience.

I went by taxi from West Hollywood to LAX. Despite the flat rate price on the site of 40 dollars, the driver intentionally made a hook and demanded 52.45. Despite this sneaky, greedy act, the driver was an interesting conversationalist, so I will put two stars.

Since Uber has become quite unpredictable in terms of wait times and pricing, I went back to cabs to the airport.. BH Cab was not only prompt but early and the cars and drivers were fine. To avoid the vagaries of Uber, I have been quite satisfied. To LAX.

Driver (cab #3316) didn’t run the meter and tried to charge us $45 for a 15 minute (total) ride; then began to haggle…$40, $35. He’d picked us up at a hotel and assumed he’d take advantage. We gave him a $20.

for 2 years in a row had family trip to Hawaii and try to reserve large taxi the night before my 5 AM pick up. For both years, taxi never show up, and almost miss my flight. I am done using them.

They never showed up. Ordered on-line and then two more phone calls, they never got anyone to pick up, or bothered to call back and let us know no one was coming. Really horrible service.

I reserved a ride 3 days early. Not only didn't the driver show up on time, but I received a recorded message 50 minutes later after I got to LAX that the driver had arrived. For pickup.

Be aware of the #3202, just saw this car on the road, it drive too fast and in the middle of the road all the time, not very safety. I don’t want to use their business in the future.

Driver maybe was in bad mood. Keep swearing and speeding in local street. Didn’t feel safe but it would have been worse if I made any comment. No wonder why people moving to Uber.

Called for a cab. Advised it would be 10-15 minutes. Never showed up. No call with status update. Can't rely on this cab service. Actually, can't rely on any cab service.

Cab 3363 was driving erratically cutting cars off including us. Even flipped us off. Would not recommend. No regard to safety. They could eat a weiner.

It's the best and safest way to get around this city. If you have new business meetings, it is a great way to have them picked-up and taken any where.
