Super belle bibliothèque! Pas assez d’endroits pour le nombre de visiteurs. Pas trop certaine pourquoi qu’il n’y a pas plus de places en connaissance que LaSalle est une ville grandissante. La réservation des locaux est une belle addition, mais le plus gros problème est la gestion du bruit. Je n’ai jamais vu une bibliothèque aussi bruyante. Le café est même moins bruyant malgré que les groupes s’y rencontre. La « sécurité » ne sert à rien. Il n’y a pas de tournée pour demander aux gens de faire attention de temps en temps. J’y retourne seulement pour les locaux fermés.

Tout le monde est poli et sympa. A part cette Fille CAMILLE très IMPOLIE, qui a un visage fermée pour une personne qui doit servir convenablement les personnes de la bibliothèque . parce qu’elle retrouve une bouteille de vernis que mon garçon a mis dans le sac de bibliothèque par inattention!elle ose me dire «  ce n’est pas une poubelle madame !!! J’espère que le service de la bibliothèque octogone fera plus attention à recruter son personnel qui sert les citoyens respectueux de cette ville que nous aimons tous!

New library, which moved from CSLC Lasalle into this massive world class structure. It has multiple floors with well segmented and listed shelves. The place is serene for study and there are comfortable toilets as well for family and singles. The staff are very friendly and would communicate amicable with Francàis ou anglais, whichever you choose. The parking lot is good enough, however construction is still ongoing. Great place to be

We finally have a brand new library. However it is still not finished. So big and spacious. I am sad that they discontinued the gift / donation part of the library that they had before. Where I could have dropped off my DVD 's, books which would have benefit others. I think they should put so art work on the wall. And I noticed that there is also a little care added. Cool. A touch up was badly needed.

After years of closure for renovation, this library has finally reopened to the public. Its fresh and modern design includes a new building that offers abundant natural sunlight, ample seating space, computer desks, group study rooms, individual study rooms, a cafe, numerous washrooms, and more. We hope that the cleanliness will be maintained in the future.

Very well organized and run by great staff with one exception. The place is always clean, the computer lab is sometimes filled with unpleasant odors. 99% of the staff are great including the security guard. They have a vast selection of books. The only negative is the Romania lady. She never smiles and never greets you. Very rude.

i love thé new renovations but it doesn’t even feel like a library anymore. kids are running around yelling and not even whispering. it’s clear that there is more leniency here but it’s a library for a reason. it’s supposed to be silent. it’s impossible to focus here. right now i’m missing the policies of the old Octogone

On adore le nouveau design de la Bibliothèque L'Octogone! L'endroit est lumineux. Graduellement, on arrive à s'y retrouver. C'est tout neuf, il faut bien qu'on se donne du temps pour s'ajuster où se trouve les livres que l'on cherche, c'est normal. Les bibliothécaires sont très sympathiques!

Beautiful library, so happy it is open again, great staff, gorgeous renovations, so glad it is open, and spectacular inside, with an amazing place to have coffee, sandwiches run by cafe Ilios!I will be there a lot to do my crosswords , read a book

My best library ever, big choice of books, nice atmosphere and my beloved Madame Isabelle (Section Jeunesse), who makes our visits fantastic! She's so so kind and always knows what book to suggest for each child. Love, love, love.

Magnifique endroit mais aucune gestion du silence. Des adolescents prennent ce lieu pour flâner et aucun respect du silence. Ca parle fort, crie, niaise. Pas du tout optimal comme endroit pour lire ou étudier. C'est malheureux.

Yes, it's nice and renovated but the staff members are so mean to the customers. Which is very sad because I would prefer the other staff members at the old building than these new members at the new building.

The new library is nice, but there is so much empty space. The lights also give me a headache - it is like being in the hospital.

J'aime les bibliothèques mais l'Octogone est la meilleure. Personnel accueillant souriant et professionnel.

I don't understand why there is an area with books showing $1 location. Gentle and efficient service.
