Great experience! Got the chance to take a ride on 5 different trams and we were introduced about the history of each of them. This place has a great collection of trams and friendly and informative volunteers. It's a shame that this place is still not known by many people. It has its potential to be developed into a "theme park" maybe.

This is an excellent and fun place to learn about the history of the tram system that once existed in Brisbane. The volunteers were extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about teaching the history and function of the trams and track systems. Definitely a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon if you have the chance.

Run by a friendly bunch of volunteers, a low entry fee, and unlimited rides on the amazingly restored trams, what more could you want? Soak in the nostalgia, enjoy your day. Support the museum or this wonderful history will be lost. I was pleasantly surprised. More

We had a great afternoon at the Brisbane Tram Museum with lots of old historical trams and trolley buses. Our conductor was Thomas, quite a flamboyant young man who was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Well done to all the volunteers.

We loved our afternoon at the tram museum. I took my two young kids aged 2 & 6 plus both sets of grandparents. We set up a picnic in the middle of the grounds (there's tables and chairs too) and everyone took turns letting the kids ride the

I drove trams in Melbourne and was interested to attend. Took my father down for his 80th and my whole family and kids. Overall I felt it was a pretty uninspiring museum really with not enough detail and lacking any real depth. I've visited

Spent a very pleasant afternoon visiting the museum. Some interesting information in the displays, and lots of different trams to ride on. While we were there, the staff took out 5 different ones for people to ride on, and gave a small talk

Great place to experience old Brisbane Trams including a little trip. Hosted by retired tram enthusiasts, this place will sure delight the young and old alike. They also hold the occasional night experience where you can transport by night

A wonderful place that deserves a higher profile and more funding! We visited yesterday and the guys there were so relaxed, friendly and interesting to chat to. They have a great format of a quick talk about each tram, followed by a ride

A must see for Brisbane families and visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed our time riding Brisbane trams from 1901 through to the 1960s (we rode in 6 trams) - it’s not a long track but Sel and Ian made it highly informative and fun. We didn’t

Nice afternoon out, we got to ride four trams, and they are all one after the other. I'd advise getting there at around 12.30 as the first tram goes shortly after this and then it is continuous for an hour or so with different trams. The

Great place that is a 35 minute train trip out of Brisbane, the train station is a 1.3km or 10 minute walk from the tram museum. Alternatively there is a bus that runs on weekdays that stops near the front entrance. There is a lot of

We visited here on a Sunday afternoon in November. The volunteer guided us through the beautiful trams and shared his interesting experiences. Our whole family enjoyed our time here, making it a delightful weekend. More

There's so much history there. The teams themselves enable to see what time must have been like during those times. I loved experiencing each of the trams that were open to us. It was a fun filled morning.

Very interesting. My grandfather was a tram conductor and inspector. My Dad did his apprenticeship as a coach and motor body painter, then drove buses and coaches, so this place is full of history for us.

So much potential but also a lost opportunity for Brisbane City to highlight a major part of their past. A great afternoon for history buffs.
