Who does dr magz the owner think she is “don’t swear in my presence” all hail the queen? Umm please don’t stress me out ? When you end up arguing over pricing (a first for me with a medical practice) while my dog is being taken from me and going into procedure (an aesthetic for small dogs can be dangerous and stresses mommy out) When we start arguing over pricing because your practice messed up and you want me to drop life saving blood tests I am going to react! I am a mother!!! Unkind. Come on. Be a human being? If I didn’t understand what the heck you are saying understand I didn’t go to your fancy school and I don’t run your business. I was there on time I don’t see why I couldn’t be treated with respect and patience. Funny my dog tried to bite her immediately. I get that we all have “off” days but try to be considerate as I told them I was stressed … if you can’t handle people you shouldn’t be a doctor or vet or anything, people come with the animals that is life. You’re meant to be comforting and soft and slow not hasty and in a bad mood etc. that does not help anything at all to not explain and to bark orders and information in 1 minute when clearly the customer doesn’t have a clue what you’re saying and just wanted to try and get the extra money (double). Cultivate patience and go back to finishing school where I am sure they taught these people skills. I’m any career (marketing or legal they teach you skills for your profession ) I’ll just have to go back to the Constantia vet where they did my chihuahuas dental work last time/before because they have all the time and patience and love in the world for me and my pets unlike this place can’t even give you a few minutes of kindness. How much extra for that? Other vets nicer not the owner and it’s a pity for everyone. Receptionist looked embarrassed but what must I do I don’t work there. Leave a review and goodbye.

I'm no longer going to this vet as I felt that their main goal is to make money with unnecessary treatments. In two ocassions (my housemate and a friend) took their dogs for minor check ups and ended up being pushed to purchase products that were completely unnecessary for the condition of the dog. Eye washes, vitamins, supplements, creams... and all things that an insecure or soft pet owner will end up giving in to just because they would trust the vet thinking that it was necessary... not just a "nice to have". Be careful with letting yourself be pushed just for selling purposes... Also they don't accept returns on unopened food, even if completely unused, purchased a few days back. Claiming is due to Quality purposes. I found this place too concerned about their money making scheme. I do think they care about the animals but just not for the customers that pay for the service. I guess I would take my dog back only of I wouldn't have another choice. I'm changing vet to Hakuna Matata, in West Beach. Hope it helps...

You wouldn't believe the quality of medical treatment and diagnostics with Dr Mags. I am blown away by her remarkable skill and knowledge.. Don't ever tell her it can't be done or that there is no hope.. She will prove you wrong. Shown me time after time again, diving into the most difficult medical cases, that many other Vets would not even try to tackle, and saved a life that otherwise would have never been saved. I am humbled by her genius, ethics, support, empathy, attention to detail, passion and incredible personal service. You matter, your pet matters, and she really listens to pet guardians. Been our Vet since she opened many years ago (12+), and she would be impossible to replace to me, anyone attempting to walk in her footsteps would have very big shoes to fill.. Top of her field no doubt! And what wonderful, friendly, empathic staff. I am just always blown away by this team. I cannot say one bad word.

Overpriced. Had to put my dog down here and they made us pay before even putting her down - she was in so much pain and just suffering, my whole family was crying, and all they cared about was getting paid. Not one shred of empathy, and when we got upset about it the vet started victimizing herself - I understand putting dogs down is probably very difficult, but she wasn't sad about that, just complaining that some people don't pay for their dogs being put down. Get a grip. And one more thing - stop telling your customers that you provide some of the cheapest services. That is an outright lie - bunch of money-hungry sociopaths. I feel sorry for any staff working here that actually care about animals and didn't become a vet just for a payday.

Took my little one there to put up a new cast as she had fractured her leg some time ago. The cast was approximately +- R2500, however it was too heavy and not properly bonded at all. My puppy used a cone so it was impossible for her to remove the cast. Within two days the cast was out. I contacted the vet and informed them that the cast slipped completely off and that it was because of poor workmanship and asked if I would be charged for putting a new cast. The reply I received was "these things happen, you will have to pay the amount again to put a new cast". Extremely overpriced as well, within a month, I spent more than R 9000 at this organization.

They are more worried about money then your sick animal that you take in. I then took my girl to the spca in grassy park. They were so much more friendly. In all what happened I accidentally short paid Briza vet by R9.00, they send me an email for the R9.00. If I can suggest, rather go to the spca where they actually care about animals and not money for their own pocket. Your animal will get the care they need. I will never support a vet again. I will rather take the drive out to grassy park for the best treatment and care. If I was able to give no star, I would.

Best vet ever. Really care about the animals health and emotional wellbeing, Dr Mags took the extra time I needed to answer all my questions about the operation for my rescue dog. She phoned me when his surgery was over to reassure me that he was okay and she uses the least invasive method towards an animal for example showing the owner how to gather a urine sample instead of taking it out via injection. She never gives antibiotics unnecessarily. Her staff as equally supportive and patient.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Briza Vetinary Clinic. Megan the secretary was so gentle and sweet, explaining all options in detail. The Vet and helper... Arrived in a pet ambulance and were so wonderful, professional and took time to let me talk to my baby before they injected him. I was panicking that he would wake up so she tested his heart numerous times to assure me that he had passed on. What WONERFUL Compationate people. Thank you from bottom of my heart.

Thank you to Dr Lynn for racing to our home to assist with the passing of our beloved dog Daisy, treating her with love & compassion because we were distraught when her condition changed dramatically within a few hours today. Ryan, my young bull terrier constantly has an upset tummy from eating foreign objects. He is always treated with love and care and seems to be almost 100% the next day. Pikkie, my X jacky/foxterrier has reached age 16. He has gone a bit batty, but suffers no pain. Everything possible has been done for him. He still has a good appetite and loves his walks. Thank you Briza for your EXTRA love and care.

My animals are my babies and I had the horrific experience of having to put my 25 year old cat to sleep, I could not have dreamed of a more peaceful and beautiful passing away. I will never go to another vet for my other babies annual vaccines etc. Beautiful people who truly love animals. You and your babies are a name and a soul, not a paycheck. Can't speak highly enough of the team at Briza.

If you are looking for a vet experienced with rabbits, this is the right place. But, unfortunately, they don't have all the equipment, and weren't able to see to my rabbit's teeth (and instead referred me elsewhere). So perhaps it would be better to go to an exotic animal vet in the first place instead of having to pay 2 consultation fees.

Our thanks to Doctor Morgan and Megan for their kindness beyond measure. We had a difficult path to walk when Flekkie had to go to doggie heaven. Her bedside manner and knowledge is fantastic and we highly recommend her. True to her motto Doctor Morgan showed Flekkie kindness and compassion. He had a dignified exit and we are thankful.

Super professional but not coldly clinical. They treated my Baby as though he was their own. Lovely, lovely front office staff! Dr Mags is also really thorough and left no stone unturned and covered every base before she operated on my Alexander plus called us to clearly communicate any issues or concerns. This clinic is above and beyond any vet clinic we have experienced in the past. The premises are neat and clean and the staff are fantastic. Consultations are by appointment so there is a lot less agro in the waiting room. 4 stars only because we have just started taking our much loved Pit Bull to the clinic.

Briza is a wonderful veterinary clinic and dog grooming parlour. The staff are super friendly, understanding, helpful and accommodating. The entire team always go out of their way to make sure my pets are calm, happy and healthy. Their trading hours are also convenient for people who work full day.

Horrible experience - support staff & management rude. Would not give the results of urine tests to confirm which cat (of 2) is ill and need medical care(if at all). Felt like they were more interested in fee generation (which is higher than most in area) than getting treatment for ill animal.

Truly excellent veterinary practice. I switched recently to this vets, Dr Mags in particular, and although my two senior dogs had seen other vets in the last couple of years - Dr Mags picked up many important things they had missed. I really can’t rate this vet practice enough!

I am not satisfied with the service. Some Vets there cant even speak Afrikaans. I had my cat there and i have treated him as to the instructions of the first vet. By visiting for the follow up another vet there suggests another treatment contrary to the first vet instructions.

Professional and friendly service. I love the receptionist's Border Collie, Shelby hy the way. So sweet and super intelligent. Inoculation for our Jack Russell was also reasonably priced and deworming was only R30 extra. Will definitely go back for the stellar service!!

While the main doctor is knowledgeable, she will push you to make quick decisions, and play on your feelings to push sales and procedures. And every doggie needs it's teeth cleaned! Many neighbors agree on this. I am of opinion I was fleeced too. Go somewhere else!

Trying out Briza for the first time, I must say that I am very happy with the service recieved as well as the friendly and helpful staff members I spoke to. I took my cat for a few treatments and everything went extremely well. Very happy and will be back for sure!

Well situated though you need to make sure ure travelling along Blaauwberg rd towards Koeberg Rd, otherwise ure on the wrong side. Ample parking, efficient service and nice, clean, fresh inside. Friendly staff welcome u. Stock all the necessary animal bits n bobs.

Very good vet. One of the best vets I have taken my 3 bullies to. Very knowledgeable and understanding to your needs as well as the dogs. Price is good for an expert helping the ones that dont have a voice. I buy Omega dog food there all the time. Always helpful.
