"Used to love coming here but now, the drive isn't worth the hassle"
"Don't bother with this place"
"The bakery is easy to find"
"This place was good but now it doesn't have pan de manjar, y picos pequeños"
"The most amazing, wonderful, and delicious breads and sweets in all forms and shapes, and most of them with a combination of cheeses that really melt in your mouth with every bite"
Used to love coming here but now, the drive isn't worth the hassle. They are aware that they get a lot of customers and yet have zero compliance with COVID guidelines. Inside it gets stuffed of customers. Then you have those who care about the guidelines and get skipped after waiting for soo long (30+ mins) for trying to keep their distance because of the individuals who don't care for the guidelines that of course aren't in place by the bakery. They don't at least have a ticket order roll call system going so that not just anyone can go ahead and squeeze themselves inside to get attended first. On top of the fact that their variety of breads and pastries have immensely decreased. Or one has to wait until the afternoon or following week to get a bread that may have been there the day before. No one has the time to wait an hour for bread/pastries that are promised one day and not the next. On top of that by the time you pay for your items its as if the ladies put their own price on certain products or up charge you for their own benefits. Don't waste your time unless you're willing to deal with the disorder.
Don't bother with this place. I was looking for a cake for my mom's 60th birthday. After calling twice (straight to voicemail the first time) someone answers and I explain that I would like to order a cake for a week out (pickup the following Monday). She tells me "call tomorrow-the cake girl didn't come today". I ask her "is that enough time -can you at least take the order it's a simple cake I need ". She just keeps repeating that the cake girl isn't there (calling me little girl - "Niña" )and to come in to the bakery since they don't even take orders over the phone. I explain that I live in Orlando and that I can't come in to the bakery - that we're going to Miami over the weekend and would like to order the cake before. She then tells me "oh well the cake girl isn't here so try tomorrow-i ask what time can I call and she says "I don't know what time she'll be in ". Frustrated I just say don't worry and hangup. Don't bother with this place. They treat you like they're giving you the stuff for free and won't even bother to help a customer. She also sounded super condescending the whole time.
The bakery is easy to find. They're open late which works great for weekday late runs. The place smells amazing; when you walk in, you immediately smell the freshly baked bread. I had no problem with customer service as some others have mentioned. The attendant was courteous and patient with us. I purchased a premade Nicaraguan guava cake and it was really good. It was still cold from the fridge, but you can certainly taste the authentic flavors. I would recommend that they cover the by piece cakes they sell, because I tried the pineapple cake and though it was delicious in flavor, it was just a tad dry in consistency. If you like central American treats and fresh bread, I'd recommend this bakery. Also, I actually had no problem with parking, but I did visit later at night when most people wouldn't think to go.
This place was good but now it doesn't have pan de manjar, y picos pequeños. I called different days and workers do not know when they going to have. I went last Saturday and the lady charged me $5.00 more. I didn't realize until I got home. The breads do not have price. It difficult to know how much I have to pay. This place do not open Sunday which the day that a lot people can buy more. They can do better but they don't care.
The most amazing, wonderful, and delicious breads and sweets in all forms and shapes, and most of them with a combination of cheeses that really melt in your mouth with every bite. They are also authentic Nicaraguan Bakery, where you can see the bakers working with the same artisan methods passed from generation to generation. Great place to buy your breads and at a very affordable price. I highly recommend this bakery.
Found this bakery on Google Maps and saw the good reviews so thought I'd give it a try. When I got there there was a very long lineup so I thought it must be good. I ordered three of their bakery items and was disappointed with them. The bakery items I ordered were $1 per item so I definitely can't fault the price. The staff here also don't seem to speak English so make sure you brush up on your Spanish!
I absolutely love this bakery. The bread is so soft and yummy! They have so many different kinds of baked goods and they are all so wonderful. The servers are super friendly and patient. Also they only take cash so go prepared! I 100% recommend trying this place versus anyyyyy American bakery. I literally go like once a week.

UPDATE 1/26/2023 Business is back up and running. And boy! Delicious as always. So come on down and enjoy your Nicaraguan Bakery goods. UPDATE 9/10/22. Business closed. Seems building dept. closed the building where they are at. OMG! Love their baked goods. Nica all the way. Love the place and the staff as super nice.
To be honest I've never seen a bakery with such a beautiful presentation if there baked goods!!! That being said the goods are as delicious as they look on the pictures. The staff is super friendly and will explain any sweet question you might have about any baked good. Parking is always available.
This bakery is really good, actually. The part that it misses on is the speed. It lacks speed and cannot function without trouble. Still, they remain effective and even when demand is high, they push through the line, and serve everyone, eventually, and excellently, too.
Real good central American bread..needs a little better customer service..also someone needs to help them be a little more sanitary. Dont be surprised if they grab your bread with there bare hands. But people must love it because the lines are up to the door after 4pm.
Update 10/12/22- An incident (accident) building structure happened inside bakery. I think they are going through a sad moment, my condolences to the family and owner of the bakery. Pray for them to open soon! Thank you, for the delicious bread. …
We love good quality Nicaraguan bakery products. Recently was told about this place just west of Downtown Miami. We are so glad we stopped in. Nice staff, clean environment. The products we tried were all good & very fresh. Will definitely be returning.
Love this place!!!! Great service and fresh baked goodies everyday!! I went yesterday and took advantage my daughters’ grandparents coming from Nicaragua heading Boston and send some bake goods to my daughters aunts and uncle …
I want to thank their awesome customer service, I drive to Miami once in a great while and always get their PICOS TOSTADOS, and they always accommodate my order to my schedule. Their produce is fresand good
Delicious bread but parking is a mess the line is always extremely long.I always question myself is it worth the wait and trip... It is most of the time except when they run out of conchas aka semitas:)
This business is located in the USA and only allows the customer to pay cash!! They don’t accept any other form of payments. How can this be allowed in the United States.??
They bake fresh bread even at night and the line goes by fairly quickly, prices are medium but worth it for top quality bakes. Also they vary different extra treats to try.
Hard to park and when you finally get to the counter they always tell you there is not semitas left because they focus in wholesale an not in general public. Service sucks
I like this place for that semi sweet bread they sell for $5. I wish they would sell more things though and clean it up to make it a little more presentable.
Very rich flavor but personal was kind of rude!! This place got closed and reopened after that they only accept cash . They should implement hygiene. …
I love the bread, but the biggest problem they have is the parking lot way too small and you have to be going around and around to find a spot to park
It is open, cash only. In love with the place. Everything was fresh & the staff was friendly. Totally worth the drive from Broward to Miami.
Love these bakery. It's the best. Staff is really nice, Kevin is such a sweetheart. The only bad thing is it doesn't have enough space.
When you enter this bakery, you will wish to take out everything!!! The quality is beyond belief and prices are reasonable!!!
Great bakery..drawback is they are only accepting cash.
