"I use to personally and 4 others (coworkers) go there monday & tuesday because yami use to greet us once she saw us and either take our orders or let us know she will be right with us"
Been going there since a kid and they say they are a luxury pastry store but they are not. I'm a mystery shopper. The staff is wonderful and always friendly. The owner never talks to his customers. He's always avoiding complaints and hides in the back of the store most of the time. The owner has a Mohawk and rides a . I ride a Boulevard but he has a reputation of being wild and not refined. They food is good there but they just sell regular pastries like at Karla's bakery or Pinecrest Bakery. They are nothing like Pastry of Arts. Not like luxury Disney cakes or sweets sort of store. I recommend Mario's Bakery in Hollywood or Le Cream Bakery near the Mimo District if you want that sort of treat myself because l deserve it kind of experience.
I made this review 7 months ago with 3 stars... The layout of this place is strange especially with this whole pandemic situation... its hard for people to keep their distance and also to know where the line begins and ends... The coffee is good and so are the pastries. The lunch food isn't so fresh. Trying to give it a shot again now and nope seems like the service has got worse with time. The lady gave me a nasty attitude just because I asked where do I stand to order. Pft... I didnt even bother after that. I'll go to another bakery maybe smaller or larger for better service. And the cooked food still doesn't seem fresh. The baked goods looked nice.
I go to this place a lot I work close by and me and my husband decided to go in today and this ONE employee is very disrespectful and rude I didn’t even feel comfortable to eat my food all of the women are disrespectful pigs try’s to firt with your husband and stairs at you as you are eating and the best part is washing dishes in front of your husband and looking at you and your husband as you are eating like I’m sorry but I believe the owner should Hire respectfully women that is not just trying to get a tip work for you money stop firting with someone husband like jjs
About 90% of my experiences with their service has been unpleasant. Very off putting by there neglectful nature towards me. It seems like an isolated issue with me.. Collectively as a whole, I was ignored and looked over while others that came in long after I was there were being helped, even over helped. Why two ladies to help one customer, while I'm literally on my tippy toes like a meerkat in hope someone can finish helping me so I can get on with my deliveries. I'd rather go to Karla's Bakery, they have Better service and food anyway.
I use to personally and 4 others (coworkers) go there monday & tuesday because yami use to greet us once she saw us and either take our orders or let us know she will be right with us. She was the most upbeat women working there! She always has a smile when we go. She is a happy person we would only let her deal with us. Soo now she is gone and WE WILL NO LONGER GO BACK. When we went on Monday we asked for her and they said she is no longer here and we ran out!! The other ladies are rude and dont acknowledge anyone!!
I ordered through ubereats, got a pan con bistec and mac and cheese with fries. They ran out of mac and cheese and the attendant was kind enough to call to replace with nuggets and added an orange juice. I spent 16.66 food was warm/almost cold. The bread on the steak sandwich was HARD as a rock. My gums are swollen @.@ and the steak was hard to eat, I ended up giving my steak to my dog. My colada tasted a bit old with alot of the grinded coffee on the bottom. This was my first time trying their food :/
I certainly will not come again here, because of that though life cubanita mob angry squad that works there dealing with costumers and having attitude and little patience with the clients, either a question, an order, change Mind about something, everything absolutely everything is a reason for them specially the lady with red hair light eyes she’s so mad!! I hope everything in her personal life is doing good because she is truly suffering, so much attitude from the Cuban hood asere!
Great service. Tasty bake goods. I love that they have varities of same day baked pre-made pastelito for 25 ppl. Perfect for last min purchase.

This is a place I would surely recommend, it's cakes are soft and moist...not to mention their pastries will leave you wanting more. The ambience is very friendly and the employees very helpful. They also sell food by the pound to take out or eat there in the establishment. A bit pricey, but we'll WORTH it, I recommend it to anyone to visit them for their next party or get together or just to pick up some Cuban bread.
The servers are really nice and the food was great. I had the Bistec A Caballa which is a thin palomilla steak with 2 eggs on top and fries on the side + a cafè con leche. It was only like $8 and it was a good size portion. The steak was a touch saltier than I like for palomilla steak, but not by a lot. Didn't try anything from the pastry or deli, but I'm excited to try them next time. Would definitely come back.
OMG! What can I say? The pastries are like you died and went to heaven! The best I've had in a long time!. They also have a selection of sandwiches and other prepared food. Their expresso coffee was outstandingn but make sure you let them know when ordering if you don't want it too sweet, otherwise they put lots of sugar in it. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating. Great place!
Worst breakfast we had…in a long time: greasy, half cooked omelette, raw onions. Inane chatter from waitresses. To make it worse, misleading pricing. Waitress gives you a menu with prices printed lower than they bill you. When you ask why, they say that’s the way it is.

If you're an English speaker only do not go to this place. Not only was my order wrong the food was bland no flavor whatsoever. I called the restaurant about my order they told me to order a cheap item and the will redeliver my missing items and refund me for the item I bought and the delivery. I got my order and I was only given $1.07, if I can give this restaurant a -5 star I would.
I was trying to pay with cash and a credit card. I was told by the manager a blonde lady and the cashier that they have a new system and it’s not possible. Especially with a new system that sounds crazy to me. They were both Middle Aged ladies and I’m sure they do not know how to use the new cash register system. What a waste of time. Use to come here all the time but anymore.
Today 05-14-2019 around 7:00 AM the young lady was rude, no good morning, no smile, pastry guava and cheese no fresh, and cortadito she never asked me if regular milk or evaporated milk, she gave me regular milk. And of course 45 minutes later I ran to the restroom, I don't know if was the Viejo pastelito or the cortadito or both or her bad intentions. Thanks.
This place is amazing. The owner was there one time and offered my husband avocados even though they weren't serving them at the time (when we asked for some we didn't know he was the owner yet). He was incredibly nice and the employees are always kind. Got my toddler her birthday cake there. Loved it. Amazing food and desserts. Excellent service.
They serve bfast and lunch in and take away. They have a buffet that is not bad at all. The cakes are also fresh and look tasty. I rarely eat sweets due to it being so unhealthy and packed with processed food like sugar and other stuff. If u are into sweets and breads u can find all u need in here. Also they make very nice children bday cakes.
Well I dont usually get my breakfast here but I opted to try it out and man everything was great staff is friendly everyone with a smile food was good and made exaclty like I ordered it. Its always full of people but yet didnt wait too long to get service if your in this part of town I recommend this place for all your cuban foodie needs lol.
This has been my favorite bakery for over 15 years! Their ham croquetas can not be beat, best ones out there! Also the cake decorators are amazing, trusted them with my gender reveal cake and was not disappointed. They do beautiful, delicious and detailed work in this bakery. Thank you Gran Paris for giving my family and I the best memories.
We stopped by to pick up a few Cuban desserts and decided to stay for lunch. The staff did not speak much English but worked with us to crest a fabulous meal. We had rice and beans the best ever I had pork and my husband had a beef dish. They were both delicious. I would eat here again. Of course we took home plenty of pastry
I have been coming to this Bakery For 30 years. I came to Oder my Favorite pan con Bistec and they tell we are sorry we can’t put lettuce on your sandwich any more . When I asked why they said this was management decision . Well I made management decision of my own and just left. Don’t thunk I will be returning. It’s a shame
The pastries were amazing but I won't be ordering a full lunch meal from them ever again, the prices on a full meal are more than those at a decent restaurant, too expensive to eat there, it's only a bakery come on, somebody must've told them they were a restaurant. The pastries are pretty awesome though and moderate priced.
Very friendly environment. The food is made to order. It was the only place during and after hurricane Irma! The employees strive to see you happy! The breakfast is made at the moment. Cakes and pastries are made to order, or you can even take one home made on the same day! Excellent ambiance with music!
Gran Paris Bakery offers classic dishes of the cuban cuisine and a good selection of desserts à la française with a latin flair. It is a good option in Miami to have breakfast, lunch and buy desserts. This is a family business tended by the third generation and right on its way to becoming a franchise.
I ordered a western Omelete via Uber eats. I didn’t get the cafe con leche that is included supposedly in the menu they have in Uber eats and quality of food is terrible. I used to order regularly through Uber eats not anymore. They need to improve quality control . If it’s no good DONT serve it
Bad customer service, place was empty with one client sitting and I wasn’t even acknowledged or greeted, I guess the owner doesn’t really care about floor presence or good customer experience, I stop wasting my money here, probably worst bakery in Miami and of course they got my order wrong
Ordered food through uber eats, received only half of what i ordered and when i called the bakery to get the items delivered by them, got an excuse that the delivery guys were not there and that i had to get it myself. When i said i payed for the food she called me stupid before hanging up
This place was my all time favorite but for the past year or so prices on the to go meals are overpriced This is my third time in a short time period ordering the meals to go and the food is cold the yuca was hard as a rock and it was only 12:15 pm paid $9 for a meal I couldn’t enjoy
I have two other Cuban bakeries close to choose from but Gran Paris is still our favorite. Fresh and authentic! The only problem is parking as it is a limited and busy spot. You may have to park on one of the side streets and walk over but it is worth the trip and the walk.
I order pastries for my daughter birthday i get here and the pastries are burn i ask for my money back said they can't give me my money. I asked for the food to be ready at 2pm i get here at 4 and the food is not ready. Horrible place don't come here or order from them.
I love pastelito de guayaba, they didn’t have any but they made up for it with their amazing ham CROQUETAS! Café con leche espumita is on point, but whoever took my order wasn’t the one who made my Cafe con leche so she didn’t know to make it dark, as I prefer it.
This is my neighborhood bakery... for the first time I bought 2 pork shoulder for Christmas they were amazing..perfectly cook and the best flavor...we had one left and we warmed up 4 days after and it was still perfect.. Thanks for selling fresh products... …
The customer service is horrible very rude advertise the Latin bowls the employees don't even know what they have got a Mexican with pork was no chicken and they do not have cheese nor sour cream then rushing me to be done so she can give me a receipt and go pay.
Slow service. No acknowledgement whatsoever. They literally just leave you waiting even though the place is empty. Update: The pastries smell like acid and taste like throw up. So disgusting. I bought these for someone, horrible. Will never buy from here again.
Absolutely loved this place! So clean & the employees were very attentive. Their arroz con Leche & croquetas are to DIE FOR! Make sure to ask for the garlic cilantro sauce with the croquetas! Totally recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner!
Hands down, the BEST in Miami. This is a legendary, family owned bakery that never disappoints. The food and pastries are awesome and consistently delicious. Great staff and warm friendly service. No matter what you order from the menu, it’s always great.
Disgustingly bad service. They don't care to serve you. Even manager don't look at you. I'm sorry owner has to change people here. I worked lots of hospitality and restaurants I never did something like that. Don't go there. I wish I could give zero star.
Really bad to say this today I ask for food by phone and when I get there they trick me really bad and my food wasn't ready because they don't wanna do it that's shame to have those workers it's good place but with those people they gonna loose clients
I visited this place today (03/15/2022) around 11:35am. I was waiting for someone to assist me, but after 5+ minutes, I left. A lady said she would be right with me, but nothing. I understand if they have a lot of people, but I was the only one there.
Good everything except no restrooms !!!! How can they be in business legally with no bathroom for customers that eat there ? It's a dining in bakery. Had to pee in a jar in my truck, then go in with peed on hands and buy their food. Not going back.
Arrived for breakfast at opening time and only one employee. First ones there and we left 30 min later with a breakfast to go because we didn’t have the time to eat it there. They should arrive 30 min before to be ready to serve at opening time!
Customer service is a skill that it is taught. 1st skill acknowledged the paying customer at first sight.2nd put a phone customer on hold and help the customer in front of you. Customer service Skills are taught by the owners of the business .
I'm so disappointed at the way they are with the customer I had bought some bocaditos de pasta and they were spoiled when I called to let the manager know she dint even apologized for the inconvenience .I WON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
Stood at counter for 10-15 minutes as they walked by and ignored me, "Did you get your order?" Well I've been here for 15 minutes, of course not. Lack of training. It's not my job to reach over the counter and call their attention.
Breakfast was horrible you ask for over easy egg they give hard eggs. You ask for soft bacon they give u toasted bacon and the fries were cold soggy. The person who attends you awesome but the person who cooks horrible service.
The lady whom attended us had no customer service whatsoever. Besides that she has a terrible attitude. The other employees were busy flirting with single male customers as opposed to orders attended. Food was average...
Very unstable supplies. They rarely have all products ready when they open in the morning. I stopped buying my daughter's and myself bfast here bc of it. Staff not helpful either. Payment system make the waiting longer.
Make sure you check your to go order before walking out. Every time I come here at least half is wrong. Maybe if they just simply wrote down the order, it wouldn’t be wrong. To add insult to injury they are super slow
I used to love coming to this place when I was a kid with my dad and loved eating there guava pastries now there pastries are hard as a rock and there not fresh anymore looks like the passion for cooking went away
I like coming here though it's not the same from 3 years ago but the food is great, the quantity has changed and the waiting here kills me so I just call before so whatever i order is ready just to pay and go.
The Grand Paris uhmmm only the name, my orange juice I requested without ice and they serve you half of cup they charged $4 and the oranges that they make the juice even taste like they were getting bad
Amazing coffee, pastries, and food! Service was very fast and helpful as well. The lady helping us was very nice and helpful when it came to explaining different foods. OVerall, GREAT experience! …
Parking is limited. Enough tables and counter for a short stay. Staff is attentive. Service runs smoothly. Bakery goods are tasty. Lunch meals are ok. Some items may lack some flavor. Prices are good.
The service good but they never took the order to the kitchen so after 15 minutes waiting. They figured out my order wasn’t done There is when they put my order to the kitchen. So double wasted time.
The name is a bit misleading as I was expecting a French bakery, but I probably should have known better considering the neighborhood. No matter though... kind people, good Cuban coffee & pastries
Great breakfast, great ambient. Anita the cook is awesome, Patricia and Ingrid are great never disappoint. Been going there for years. Always a good place to get cake and party food preparations.
The staff is rude they don’t greet you when you come in and the wait time is 10 minutes

The people there are rude and have a bad attitude. They messed up my daughter's cake! They gave me a cake that was nothing like what I ordered then the woman stuck her finger inside the cake!
Have not had any issues here been coming here every Friday for the past 2 years food is always good service is good people are good too but nothing is ever perfect still love coming here
This was an awesome, off the tourist path of Calle Ocho, restaurant. Huge amount of food with a café leche for about the same as a lesser amount of food in the main 8th Street places
They just opened at 6, came for an Uber order. At 6:30 still nothing. they didn’t have croquetas either. Omg what a waste of a trip. Now I will have to drive to Vicky’s bakery.
After ordering a steak sandwich and a milk with coffee I learned they have no bathrooms. This led me to cancel my order as I would like to wash my hands before eating. . …
The place was empty maybe three clients and they neglected me for 20 minutes.. to only give me my breakfast with a roach leg in it disgusted with how low this place has came
Food was okay, but there's nothing French about it. The name is crazy false advertisement. Imagine going to an Italian restaurant but you get inside and it's all sushi...
Went in there to grab some pastries, no one could be bothered to attend us… also, when you look at the pastries a lot of them were rotting. Specifically the fruit tarts.
Yummy pastries! Quality remains the same since I would take my kids for a snack back in the 80s when we lived in the Little Havana neighborhood. They have added meals.
I only bought a cafe con leche. It was okay. Nothing to write home about. A little pricy. Most places the are $1.50... Here it was $2.00. The pastries looked fresh.
Would stop by once more. Incredible bread shop and extraordinary espresso. Whenever I need an uncommon treat to bring to an occasion I get it from this pastry shop.
Excellent customer service....excellent food quality....wide array of products......I would definitely recommend their lunches....great job guys.....keep it up.....
Their product are very good. Fresh and great taste. In addition, the people there are very proactive and kind. I love go there. I recommend. The Boniatillo guy!
i love the quality of their food! a little pricey but they also have different specials. Their cakes are so good, especially the rum cake. so recommend it!!!
I love this place!!! Service with a smile and great portions made with love!I say inside and enjoyed the music and people as it rained. The food was amazing!
I spent 20 minutes since the notice that I wa there and they started to derve, worst is that one person came after me and she left first. Worst service ever
Service can be a bit slow and unprofessional, but it makes for pleasant and often uplifting banter. Delicious cake and a wide sampling of Cuban pastries.
their pan con bistek is delicious! the ladies there aren't that friendly but they're also not rude so whatever. the desserts are decent and inexpensive.
The food is always great in this place. I’ve been going here since I’ve been a kid, but the customer service the way they treat customers is terrible.
This is such a gem in Little Havana! Amazing cheesecakes, really everything is great. This is a place that really cares about giving quality service.
The classic Cuban bakery and cafeteria. Friendly waitresses, quality bakery and regular good food at a good price. Good at his food service level.
Muy delicioso! Y si no sabes estan en el Uber Eats. Really good been coming here since I was a kid. And if you don't know they are on Uber Eats.
The cakes are rich, making them ideal for pairing with coffee or tea. Anyone looking for nice coffee and food in the vicinity should head here.
Service here got worse. The ladies are rude the new ones are lost. Not the same service from a year ago…. I will need to to find a new bakery….
Styrofoam dishes. Not many healthy options. Not recommended for breakfast, at least. Order came out wrong. The bakery section looks enticing.
An old school Mia bakery! Always good stuff for more than 2 decades. They’re very busy usually during peak meal times so go with patience.
Delicious food and friendly, fast service! I usually have to drive a little further to get my food, but that's okay! This place is great.
Good food, affordable and an authentic family atmosphere. Their sandwiches and breakfast are quite good. A part of the old neighborhood.
Oh! Well I changed my mind, worst Cuban sandwich ever, it is literally “pan con jamón”. So save your money and go to a different place.
Buenísima atención Ariadna is the best, very attentive and hard worker. Food is delicious and you can't miss their desserts …
WOW!! Amazing food and Sweets, Croquettes were to die for. highly recommend making a visit !!! Our Employees love Gran Paris Bakery!
Food was serve cold! They had 1 waitress for 7 people, need to improve . Quality of food has lowered since the first time i came.
Out of cheese pastry 3 times and last week I was for 6 meat and 6 cheese pastries and they put in the box 4 meat and 8 guavas
Mayra is an excellent waitress she always has a great attitude and her attention with the public exceeds the expectations.
The people salesgirl was not very helpful and gave us the wrong order, then she had an attitude when we took it back.
I come here for their Cuban style bread and coffee, they're really good. The food is nothing special in my opinion.
Love this place. Food excellent, staff great... if u like Cuban food with pastellitos and all u need to come here.
I don’t know what’s the hype about the pastelitos de queso so bad well from this place there not like sweet ewww
Food was cold plus blan tasting coming from another state to try some real spanish food i was deeply let down
Great bakery, great employees and service, awesome cakes, pastries, chocolate mousse, bread, sandwiches etc
09/10/2023, its been 25 minutes still waiting for 2 fried eggs breakfast! Have the Hen laid the eggs yet?
Great bakery delicious pastry good customer service and good prices I love the Cuban coffee yami yami :)
Delicious food! Fast friendly service. Love them. I drive just a bit more to go there in the mornings.
