So so experience, and I wouldn't consider visiting again. CMX considers this a "VIP" style theater which was advertised on the side of the building. Too many negatives for me. PROS: Absolutely loved the seating. The fully reclined chairs include individual reading lights, swivel eating trays, and two cup holders per person. Each chair also has a call button for the waiter. There's "table service" at each seat with a good selection of food and drink choices (including alcohol). Prior to the movie, they played nice music with a corresponding "screen saver" type of visual, which I found relaxing. The lobby included a bar and a bunch of comfortable seating inside and out. There were also a lot of TVs inside and a few outside, which had sporting events playing. The restrooms were large with digital advertising on each faucet (... see photos.) CONS: There were many kiosks in the lobby to purchase tickets without going to the counter. Sadly, these didn't appear to work, and there were handwritten signs to go to the counter. Upon arriving at the counter, there was one person working even though a line had formed and two other people walked by. It wasn't until a manager walked by that one additional person showed up to help. (I was there on a Saturday at 3 pm). When you get your ticket, they give you this large menu to carry around until you get to your seat in the theater. This is so dumb! They spent money on technology to advertise on a faucet, but they couldn't figure out what many other restaurants have already done with a digital option to order and pay from your seat. While I noted the table service above was an advantage. I meant the part about the orders getting delivered to your table. Since they don't have a digital ordering service, that means some person comes up to take orders and blocks your view of the movie while they do so. Also, the call button to get a waiter is an advantage IF IT WORKED! We were the first in the theater, ordered a regular popcorn that never came even though we saw everyone else getting theirs. I asked some waiters for status, but still none. I had to go out to the bar in the lobby and ask the bartender, and 10 minutes after the movie started, it finally arrived. Meanwhile, the cost of everything (except the tickets) is over-priced. We ordered a brussel sprout appetizer, popcorn, vanilla shake, and one cocktail.... $89! The food was good but it wasn't that damn good! The staff didn't appear to be happy to work there or care about providing good service. Finally, there were many stalls available in the bathroom, yet 50% them were out of order, covered with black bags. Of the stalls that could be used, less than half of those were clean "enough" to use. I gave two stars for the good food, nice chairs and concept. BUT, the state of this place and service is pathetic. To self proclaim as a "VIP" of theaters is an embarrassment. DO BETTER!

This cinema opened up a while ago in Brickell City Centre. Movie tickets were on the pricey side, but lately the prices changed creating a great option for movie night in Brickell. The theater rooms are small and cozy, making it feel kind of exclusive. The recliner seats are very comfortable and extend pretty far. The seats are mainly grouped in pairs, giving you a private feeling. Every recliner has a personal movable table and a small light to use at your leisure. I found the light very useful when I needed to read the menu. Tickets are available two days in advance online for an extra convenience fee, but you can also opt for purchasing them at the box office. A full restaurant style food and bar menu is available and service is provided, at your seat, up to 30 mins after the movie starts. They offer starters, main dishes, sandwiches, salads, and  desserts. They also have some movie classics including popcorn and candies. To my surprise, the food was delicious. I enjoyed the wings, wagyu sliders, truffled tarter tots, and cherry balsamic steak salad. Unfortunately on my latest visit, I found out they are no longer doing wings or tots, which is a bummer. The wings were a great option for sharing and they were really tasty. Anyways, the food is beautifully presented and delicious. I didn't care much for the popcorn trio, which is a mixture of popcorn and fried chicken, shrimp or calamari. It was good to share but not my favorite. I only wish they had better shareable plates but the food is always tasty. It has quickly become one of favorite local spots for date night. Service is friendly and attentive. Just want to give a shout out to Zack, who is always very welcoming and in a good mood. Great service, very comfortable facilities, and delicious food and drinks are all found at CMX Brickell.

A hip vibe with modern & chic decor. CMX Brickell offers a new level of luxury & intimacy for cinephiles. Located on the top floor of the newly opened Brickell City Center, it compliments its upscale storefront neighbors perfectly. Tickets can be purchased online, on their app, or in person at the box office or kiosk stands. Once inside you'll find a comfortable bar lounge on the main level with huge two story tall television screens. Another smaller bar lounge can be found upstairs on the mezzanine level. The theaters are arranged so every seating area feels intimate for you & your companion. The chairs are a mix of grey cloth & black leather upholstery, comfortably cushioned, capable of fully reclining. I read they use an all laser projector, but I noticed no distinction from a typical AMC or Regal cinema's screen display. The staff was very friendly, professional, and attentive. The waitress came to our seats about 2 mins after we sat ourselves. She explained all the chairs functions, the "call button" if we need something, the lamp side table, the adjustable swivel food tray, and noted the USB ports for charging. We had mojitos, the Special King Crab Roll, and Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The mojitos were perfect tasting & refreshing. Crab roll was good by its self but better with the small side of lobster bisque poured over it. The chicken sandwich was breaded in a flakey, tasty batter, very nice. $47 for the two tickets, $67 for the drinks & food. Not cheap. I enjoyed the experience because CMX delivered something different & quality. For the cost we paid I'd save another visit for special occasion where a more intimate setting was desired to enhance the movie going experience.

The theatre was very hot. You aren’t greeted by anyone when you come in. I guess the hostess standing there is just there for the sports bar. There’s some kiosks to print/buy your tickets but they all didn’t work. Since there’s no one around you have to look for your theatre. No one was there to take our order in theatre. The call buttons didn’t work. Go back downstairs to the hostess who shared she would send someone over. When got back to the theatre there was a server who said he would be right with us. He told us he had brought a few menus and we could grab one. Not sure why they don’t just have an option to order online and pay from phone option. It took awhile but he came to us with a dry attitude. He tells us the total and we pay. He then tells us he’s giving us the printed copy only for me to realize he put a 20% gratuity tip without even having the decency to let us know. What really pissed me off is I asked for water and never received it but you feel entitled to add a tip and not even do a follow up. Again no call buttons work and I don’t think it’s right to have to get up from the movie to do a job they are supposed to do. What happened to the days people earned their tips. The lemon drop drinks were disgustingly sweet and no vodka was tasted. The popcorn was dry and I found it weird that there was no butter smell. 2 cocktails, 1 popcorn, and candy for almost $65 not including the tickets. And then to have horrible customer service..no thanks. Not somewhere I will bother to return to

I went to this theatre yesterday and the movie was 3 hours long, the parking would have been $30 but I went back out to circle the block and I was VERY lucky to find street parking. As soon as we walked into the theatre the servers were pushing to get orders in because the service was only until 8 (movie started at 07:30, we sat at 07:10) We ordered burgers and the server asked if we wanted truffle fries, we said yes. The fries were $4 upcharge, the burger was already $18 so we are now talking about a $22 burger. I asked medium term, they said the patty is thin so it's only well done (again..this is a $22 burger). We ordered a domestic beer pitcher and 2 burgers the bill was $100 (19.5% service charge included) We got the fries and there was no truffle whatsoever in them. We asked the food runner he said "they changed the recipe" please note all the servers disappear once they take the orders, they never came back to check on the food so my friend had to go out and tell them we got wrong fries. They sent 2 new portions...still no truffle that we paid $4 extra for. At this point the movie has started so we don't want to keep fighting. Nobody ever came to take the dirty plates so we sat thru a 3 hours movie with the dirty plates on the tables (again, we paid 19.5% service charge). Long story short, a night at the movies with a burger and a beer can easily cost you around $80 per person in Brickell, I suggest you go somewhere else.. definitely don't eat there.

It's a good place to see movies, especially on Discount Tuesdays where prices are much more economical, especially with kids. Their seats are comfortable, recline, and have a reading light. The tray table is movable and permanent, which means it doesn't stow away like some others at their competitors' theater. Food is very pricy, but comes with the environment as well as their regular ticket purchase price. The servers are attentive to a point, which includes a fixed gratuity, but they also state that it's shared amongst other servers and that additional individual gratuity is for them alone. They have a lounge and bar area, which is cozy. Theaters are on the highest level of the mall, and even then, the actual movie theaters are on the second level. Make sure to validate your parking ticket prior to leaving the theater and make really sure that the discount barcode is printed on the ticket prior to leaving because if you really want that discount parking price, you'll need to go all the way up back to the theater to get it validated correctly. Movies don't start earlier than 10 am. Use their app for free membership and discounts. Their app theater's seat layout may not be aligned with the actual theatre seating layout, which may not include aisle. Overall, bathrooms are fairly clean. Recently, they've had an A/C issue by the stairs to the theaters because there's water leaking from the ceiling, which doesn't seem to get repaired quickly enough.

My husband and I use to love to come to this CMX Brickell City Center Theater, but we went this Saturday, 7.15.23 to watch the Mission Impossible Movie in the Auditorium #10 and we are always early, so we ordered our food (I ordered the Snapper with Rice, the Snapper was overcooked and the fork was already in the plate and there was no knife provided and my Husband ordered 3 x Mini Burgers which was ok and we ordered 3 x Cokes and 2 x Water bottles and it cost us $125.00, which is definitely over priced) I had to wait 15 minutes until I could get someone’s attention to bring me a knife. We also had to ask for our drinks again since they never brought them. On top of all that it was freaking hot in the auditorium, I always bring my sweater, but this time there was no use for it, since it felt like 75 degrees and we were melting, so my husband went to the counter and talked to the supervisor and they said it should be set on 70 degrees and they will check it out, after 30 minutes it still felt really hot, so i went to talk to someone at the counter and they said they checked and it is set to 70 degrees and i told them but it doesn’t feel like that, set it to 65 degrees and finally 5 minutes before the movie ended it was getting cooler, we are definitely not going back there, we spent all together $200.00 (including parking, movie tickets & dinner) for a horrible experience.

Today, january 6, 2023, we went for first time to this theater to see "Avatar, the Way of Water". The first thing they offer is the menu as this is a dine-in theater. We spent 54 dollars for two tickets and 70 dollars on an order of two bowls of popcorn, two sodas and a cheesecake. Once they brough the order we noticed the popcorn were totally cold, not fresh, and we never be provided with napkins, despite the fact that we asked for them in three occasions to different waitresses. It was until fourth of them who told us that they didn't have any. At the end of the movie we asked to talk with the manager and we explained what it happened. The first thing he mentioned is if we "have the receipt" for a refund. We didn't want any refund, we just wanted to let him know that the service was really bad and we had the hands covered with the butter of the popcorns and the residuals of the cheesecake during the 3 and more hrs that the movie lasted. He just said "sorry to hear that". So we insisted that the idea is that knowing these problems they could try to improve the standards of the customer service. The tip we left at the beginnind they didn't deserved at all. We are sure that the manager didn't get what was the problem and that he would neve will do something about it. It is a shame that these employees don't care about a good service to the customers.

Our Black Panther experience was horrible! We’re dressed in our white, ready to order and watch our part 2. My sister’s experience - It started with placing our orders. The service was horrible. They were out of several of the entrées on the menu. My daughter ordered a Shirley Temple which is a Sprite with grenadine and cheeeies. The waitress brought out a regular sprite and said they don’t have Shirley Temple’s. However, they do have a full bar which is how you make a Shirley Temple by just adding grenadine to a sprite. Which placed our orders, and it took over an hour for the food to come out. When the food did arrive, it was cold. My husband had to go and get more condiments, and no one ever came to check on us after the food came out. Subsequently, my husband also went to request a manager who never showed up. After the movie was over, we wanted to speak to a manager. We spoke to someone who said that they were just starting at that particular theater and that there had already been several complaints. My experience - our light for service was on for over 30 minutes, our original server never came back so we were trying to catch any server that came and the food was not hot. I would not recommend this location if you looking to experience the entire movie and dinner ️ experience.

Worst experience ever, bought my tickets through Fandango 10 days before the estimated visit to the theater as it was was my only option. Planned a day around my visit to the theater. When entering the theater entrance no one was available at the tickets booth or the front to scan our tickets or even advise the PAYING$$$ public of any changes. Proceeded to the auditorium on my ticket, after 15 minutes of the wrong movie I proceeded to ask for a manager, a person by the name Patriceesia Dyer came out and asked how she could help explained the situation and was told the theater was changed. As a PAYING $$$ customer I'm not shure why I wasn't advised of this change. (Just a thought maybe if you would have had a person at the front checking tickets this wouldn't have happened.) After 30 minutes of the movie going on another auditorium I was asked what I wanted, my money back or to watch the movie 30 minutes in running. Very poor management skills and customer service. Again maybe if you would have an employee at the front checking tickets from the beginning this most probably wouldn't have happened. Very poor service and management. Very poor consideration of peoples time. Good luck in the movie theater Industry. I would rather watch from the comfort of my home. Mr. Moure

Visited CMX Brickell City Centre for the second time to watch Barbie. While the movie was passable, the overall experience was unfortunately subpar. Food (1/5): The popcorn lacked freshness and warmth, and the salad was average at best. Service/Hospitality (1/5): Service was stretched thin with just one server attending the entire theater, leading to extended wait times for orders. Interactions with other staff members were less than pleasant, often coming across as rude. There was a notable lack of attention to detail, such as neglecting to provide an additional set of silverware. Once the food was delivered, there was no follow-up service, yet a 20% gratuity was pre-charged. This upfront gratuity charge, not an industry standard, seems to contribute to a sense of entitlement and a drop in service quality. Additionally, the audacity of the server asking for an extra tip after the upfront charge was off-putting. Experience (1/5): The movie audio was so overwhelmingly loud that I left the venue with a headache. Overall (1/5): At a cost exceeding $100, the experience delivered was severely lacking in value. In the future, I'll be giving my patronage to Silverspot Miami.

Awful experience after coming here several times. This was the first time we ordered food and drinks. Two entrees and 3 pitchers of (watered down) beer came to $170 PLUS 20% TIP. You have to pay for everything including tip before you get the food. So, 20% mandatory tip on a bill that is 70% alcohol. (Hey CMX, why don't you just pay your employees. You can afford it, considering our movie tickets were $20 EACH.) One entree came out a literal 30 MINUTES after the first one with no apology or explanation. Because you pay an egregious tip before anyone does their job, they don't feel compelled to offer you water or napkins, and they do not check on you EVEN ONCE after they bring you your food. I worked for tips in the past and understand the industry, but this was robbery. It's so incredibly disrespectful to make someone pay a 20% tip on alcohol before it is even served and don't even offer basics like napkins, water, and checking up on you. At the beginning, the waiter told us he included the 20% tip for himself because the employees 'work hard', but they don't. You are supposed to EARN tips, not DEMAND them. Four of your regulars are never coming back here.

Don’t let these fake five start reviews fool you. This place is mismanaged and always a disappointment. My family has seen at least half a dozen movies here. Service is really subpar, none of the ticket machines are operating, their menu items are not available and menus are not updated, the pricing on the signs are less than the actual ticket prices, the ticket agents are on personal calls and talking amongst themselves for afterwork plans and dismissing us, two bathrooms were out of hand soap for the mens and women bathrooms (how does the staff wash their hands??). They added 20% gratuity to a two-person bill without pointing it out, and we tipped on top of that fee…it’s dark in the movie and not clear until after the transaction. I’d have ordered 3x the food we actually ordered, but nobody ever came back to ask if we’d like to place another order, and I walked around looking for staff and couldn’t find anyone to place an order with. Honestly, skip this location. They appear to be cutting corners everywhere, and we always leave vowing to never return, buuuuut we do because it’s next door to a taco restaurant and the place is always empty.

As a Brickell resident, I've been there a bunch of time, but last visit I had a really bad experience (Oppenheimer on 7/22 at 3:30pm). The food is usually descent, and the chairs are comfortable, but customer service is poor. My chair wasn't working (it was turned off and wouldn't recline), I had to ask for the manager twice, after she finally came she said to just wait for the server to fix the chair, although the server was clearly busy taking food orders. Why couldn't the manager handle the situation?? Shouldn't she know how to turn the chair on?? Then the movie started, my chair still hadn't been fixed nor my food order taken. I had to leave the theater to find help, to my surprise the manger and the server were just chit-chatting outside, obviously the manager didn't tell the server about the broken chair. Then I was told that seat the has actually been broken all day (again why didn't the manager tell me this?), but that they would only issue refund for 1 of the 2 seats I had purchased.

I was there to watch Jurassic Dominion this past Saturday with my wife at 8pm Theatre 10 H5,H6 and ordered as usual. My wife drink came out a few minutes after we ordered. I was still waiting for my 2 diet cokes. I ask about my diet cokes, attendant said they would look into it , nothing came. Popcorn came 15 minutes later , meals 10 minutes after that, not a sign of the diet cokes. I had to eat my meal without anything to wash it down with. I did not want to go down to the lobby because I would miss the movie. After speaking with 5 attendants and 40 MINUTES after I ordered them, I received my 2 diet cokes. The easiest drink to make and it takes 40 minutes. Fancy location does not make the service better, I will give them another opportunity to get their act together before I never go there again. I have never received my drink anywhere after i have completely eaten my meal. You guys really dropped the ball.

  • Martha Noguera

Really bad service. The cashier was having a conversation with the other cashier while we were waiting to boy our tickets until I had to ask if he was ready for us. We got inside our AUD (6) and we waited there for the server to order our food four people including myself had to go to the front counter to request a server to order food. They send one server until the movie started I spent $120 in two dishes that were not served as we requested, they did not give us napkins and there is no way to ask for salt or napkins because they can’t see you or hear you cause the place is dark during the movie and the movie is obviously too loud so we had to stop watching our movie, we had to leave the AUD, take our food to the front for them to fix our order. And on top of all that the cream of that AUD(6) has been fixed and YOU CAN SEE the patches on the screen. I will never come back.

We dig the theater. We dont live in Downtown,so its a major pain in the butt for us to make it down here ..but the theater is lovely and seats are very comfortable. The place was horrifically empty when we went and I wonder if it has any thing to do w the somewhat high prices for movies and food. We were 5 year veterans of the 2 Ipics in Florida and recently decided ti stop giving them our business. In comparison to Ipic, the food here IS drastically better as are the drinks. Prices are still high, much like Ipic.. Also, the ordering concept is much better at Ipic or even the Alamo Drafthouse. Here, you need to frontload and order everyring at once as the server will only stopby 2 times during the film . Also, you have to pay up front each time and are charged an automatic 10%. Horrible system. I dont like tipping someone who has done nothing for me. Makes no sense.

We went last night to watch a movie, we were trying to pick the movie at the box office and spoke to Kay and the other front desk girl, they were super funny and friendly. Kay recommended we tried the Shrimp pasta and strawberry lemon drop drink and it was delicious. The movie she recommended was Strays it was hilarious and a little sad at the beginning, considering I’m a dog owner. Our experience was going great until we were in the theater enjoying our food we saw a rat running across the poles in-front of us and ran under our seats, we were paranoid the whole time, Once we finished the movie we waited until the lights turned on to leave the seats. Food 10/10 Staff 10/10 Movie 10/10 moment I wished it didn’t happen 111/10

In my opinion this cinema accomplish its objective which is providing with a luxury cinema experience. Of course it comes at a cost. Be prepared to spend about $120 for 2 including tickets, hamburgers with fries and beer (Bud light). I went with my wife with courtesy tickets. There are little details like some complimentary chocolate mints. Then, the chairs are very comfortable and there’s literally a butler at your service that you can call by pressing a button. Guests can also charge their phones while watching the movie since every seat has USB ports. Food is pretty good, but again, I’d say quite overpriced. OVERALL: Very fancy cinema that is good for a special occasion since it’s expensive!

  • Heather Robert

Decent movie experience. The popcorn is room temperature and kinda soggy. The chairs are reclinable and cozy. I knocked a star off because their menu is misleading. It's always limited and they are always out of most things on the menu. I think they need to actually update their menus with what is available. Also please get more veggie options for people who don't eat meat. I knocked a second star off for the price of this place. Way too expensive for what you actually get. Now if they followed through with what they advertise (full menu) then I'd say it's worth the value. I make sure to only come here for weekday matinees now for the "super-saver" price, which is $8.99 +tax.

Came to see Avatar with my husband and it was our first time at CMX Brickell, this movie theater was nothing we had expected. They took forever to bring the drinks, the movie was already 30 minutes on and all you can see was the waiters who where lost and all over the place. One hour and 30 min before the movie ended, I decided to ask if they sold any ice cream, the lady from the bar told who looked as if she was the manager, “honey with do not have any Ice cream” with a horrible tome of voice. Her response was as if she was bothered. I will never go again. Rude, uneducated bad service. Unfortunately it seems as if there is bad management.

  • Ana López

Terrible experience. Never coming back. The smell in the hallways is disgusting. We ordered food and they forgot about it. After two hours waiting we had to come outside and ask for it. They made us show the receipt as if we were making it up. When they finally brought the food they forgot about the french fries. They told us they were going to give us free drinks for the wait but never brought them. The food was 6/10 and expensive for the quality. They charge 20% service charge right away when the service in our case was terrible I would have never paid that charge. The ladies restrooms are filthy and only one sink was working. No soap.

  • Miguel Perez

They were understaffed so ordering took a while because it was one poor server. Once he comes to our seats he mentions that he’s out of a lot of items on the menu. He gets interrupted by his manager who was extremely rude to him asking why he’s taking so long. Manager could have helped by grabbing people’s orders. Food comes, missing my drink and popcorn. I go to the bar twice to make sure they didn’t forget to bring me my popcorn which made me lose like 15 minutes of the movie. They assured me that I would get the popcorn and the drink. It never came. Auditorium was also dirty when we came in. Very dissatisfied.

  • Mark Tremblay

Needs New Management 148.15 for 2 between tickets and food 85.00 for a BLT a hamburger, water and 1 glass of wine is a lot considering once the waiter got to run my credit card and collect a required 18% tip we never saw him again. We asked 3 people for napkins! We had none. Everyone said “I’ll be right back” and then avoided us. I asked for a glass of water. “Sure, I’ll be right back “ never seen again. The theater was never cleaned up from the last show, empty glasses and plates everywhere. Carpet was nasty with trash not picked up. We used to enjoy this place before Covid. Not coming back.

  • Jackeline Dos Santos

Well, the food was and drinks were good buuuuut. The service was horrible it ruined the whole experience. First I asked for 2 beers and they brought me 0% alcohol beers and both bottles opened . I didn't ask for non alcoholic beer. Then the waiter messed up my Daughters order and brought popcorn w/calamari instead of chicken and he took it back saying wait didn't you order the chicken?? Which I replied yes and he said okay this is not yours ill check up on your order. Well 40 minutes later I had to leave the movie to find out what was up with the order. I won't go back.

  • Michael Baird

The website asks for patrons to show up 30 minutes early to enjoy the full-service. Our theatre wasn’t seated until 2 minutes before showtime—and they were still wiping down tables. When we were prepared to order, the two entrees that we had selected were not available. We tried to order salads instead, but we were told there were no salads, either. Now we are having to sit through our movie having not eaten—and we’ll have to do a late dinner following the movie. It was a very disappointing experience. Please plan to eat before coming if you are choosing this theatre.

  • Juanita Lopez

Went to see a show at 5:30 pm. Got there at 4:45. Wanted to have a drink at the bar. They say to show up 30 min before the movie starts. Got to the auditorium, it wasn’t cleaned. Went downstairs twice to ask, at this time it was 5:15. Got my seat at 5:20 pm. Ordered at 5:50. Got my popcorn at 6:25. Movie was ending in 20 minutes. Horrible customer service. Everyone in the theater got their food/ drinks late. Some people returned their orders. Doral is the best location for this kind of service. Top it off, manager is dismissive. $80 could be spend somewhere else.

  • Jordan Bruni

Avoid this theatre and go to silver spot over the bridge…this one is OVERPRICED (more so than your typical overpriced theatres) and has an odd system to it regarding ordering..no free popcorn refills, constantly asking for napkins and people bringing one cocktail napkin- and if you want a drink refill? Oh go do it yourself downstairs at the bar despite giving the waiters the mandatory 20% gratuity..I don’t blame the staff- they did fine, the establishment needs to take a page out of silver spots book and make this whole thing more convenient. Will never be back.

  • OEC ANTIGUA

Worse customer service I have ever experience in my life, As business owner in the area I will fire all the supervisor and and managers working tonight. When I tell you I Will NEVER, NEVER Book a movie here or entertain a cmx sport bar I mean that. Truth be told I think it was a bit racism after speaking with a supervisor and local manager because the general manger wasn’t available. Telling me I can’t order or stay in the bar and wait a seat to open.cause there was no table. Where there was clearly OPEN SEATS & space available to attend customers. The worse!!!!

  • Camelia Rose

Server was very rude. They were out of 4 menu items I tried to order and he spoke to me like I was an inconvenience for trying to order them.. like I’m somehow supposed to know they’re out of it? When he brought the popcorn I asked if I could place a drink order and he said “hold on” with an attitude and never came back. I went the whole movie without anything to drink. I’m more than happy to tip my servers, usually over 20%… but for them to automatically add 20% tip to the bill and then treat you like that? Probably won’t be back.

  • Jose Vega

Great experience. Will definitely be coming back. Definitely very cool atmosphere and comfortable seats. Food was good. Suggestions would include 1) provide a knife to help eat the food instead of only a fork. Else provide bread to help get the food onto the fork. 2) provide napkins without the need to request one 3) have the waiter return and ask for final orders "last call" . I wanted to order popcorn and I couldn't. 4)portions could be just a tad bigger. Overall a great experience. This was my second time going.

I went yesterday to see Avatar, the movie was amazing but on the contrary the service was a disaster. We spent over $100 on three regular burgers and three sodas and it was worse than mcdonalds, they brought the burgers and ONE HOUR later they brought the sodas after we complained twice. THE WORST VALUE FOR MONEY IN FOOD AND SERVICE. The seats were comfortable and the movie was spectacular but it last bad memories because of the rest. My friend was even charged for popcorns that was never brought to her.

  • New Beginning Behavioral Therapy

Great Location but such a BAD customer service since the beginning. They did not validate the parking ticket, and they took forever for the food service. The worst part is that they bring you the food and then the drinks 30-40 minutes after the food arrives, even when I reminded them about my order 2 times. There was a blond male server, he was so rude and did not pay attention at all when I called him just to ask him a question. I’m not recommending this to anybody.

  • Jeff Morris

This is a very nice theater with great service, but way more than I need. They wait on you at your lounge chair in the theater. I prefer just getting the the concessions myself. But the theater was very nice, Jackson my server was attentive and friendly, and my overall experience was enjoyable. All the niceties come at a price, expect to pay a significantly higher price for this experience. If my review and or photos are helpful please give a thumbs up.

  • Nomad Productions

Vibrant and Glowing atmosphere! As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted by a manager by the name of Nathalie. She was very patient and polite while going above and beyond making sure our movie experience was excellent! The food was great, the servers were quick and the reclining chairs were comfortable. I would definitely recommend CMX if you're looking to catch a movie and a meal, or just to have drinks at the bar (which they have 2 of)!

  • Emir Tibilov

Worst movie theater in Miami! I do not advise anyone! Worst service I have ever experienced! my friend and I made an order and waited 40 minutes for it, when we went out to ask why it took so long, they told us that they had forgotten about it and did not even apologize! when they finally brought us our order at the end of the film, it turned out that they did not bring us the entire order for which we paid! I do not like rude and irresponsible people!

  • lev sigalov

Here now, with 2 kids . Ordered gummy bears 11:35 am its now 12:42. There is no service here why charge a min 20-25 % fee and have no service. Seats are comfortable setting is beautiful. Service is lagging , no attentiveness . I cant leave 2 kids to figure this out. PG movies kids can hardly last 2 hours for a movie but to wait 1 hour 10 mins for snack is ridiculous. PS : bring Snacks dont support there menu here

  • Indice

This Center is beautiful. Great food venues (the italian restaurant on the corner is top, good pasta e good sea food)plus movies and the East hotel. You can make an afternoon or night of it. Shopping is too expensive but they are adding shops all the time. Big Brands are there. Take your time in Miami and go for some hours great shopping at Brickell City Center. Nice Bar arround, safe area, clean area. See you again.

  • Anthony Marinaro

The entire front row of seats in the theatres are useless you cannot see the screen unless you have a bottle of icy hot on deck. The drinks are too expensive considering the mojito I got was gone in 3 sips and maybe had half a shot in it. I’d recommend going to any theatre except this one. Aside from the location and overall look of the theatre from the outside, this place is not worth the price of admission at all.

  • Laritza Rodriguez

The cinema was good, I went and I was so happy, specially because on Tuesday We got a big discount for the move ticket. But at the end I got very disappointed as the parking was so expensive. Can you belive that they charged us 20 dollars for 2 hours parking. That is crazy. I feel the stole my money. The food was very expensive too, you pay almost 20 dollars for a burger. The food should be les expensive be

  • Jessica León

I went to see Barbie last week and IT WAS THE WORST!!!! experience ever in my life. I was watching the movie when a RAT CLIMB through my leg. I had to get out off the movie to look for someone and since I went to the latest hour (at 11pm) nobody was outside to help. This is the most disgusting thing I had experienced. This is supposed to be the nicest movie theater in Miami, but instead is the worst!!!!!

  • Rochelle R.

I have never been able to order what I originally wanted on the menu, they are always out of something. This time they were out of sliders, ice cream, honey mustard, and gummy bears!!!! When I brought it up to the staff the reply was, "We always run out when popular movies are showing." So you know this is an issue and have decided not to do nothing about it? Go to see the movie, don't count on the food.

  • L C

Cine-bistro is our only theater option; the Dolby Atmos room in Auditorium 9 is fantastic; Management was very kind to us. However, waiters did the bare minimum, just stared at as they chargedfr our order. No friendly nods or smiles. Food wasn’t the best. It was a little wonky, chicken sand-which was horrible. The burgers we ate gave us an upset stomach the following day. Everything else is pretty good!

  • Victor Garcia

Food and drinks are amazing, the theater looks clean as well as the bar/entrance area, and the waiters in the theater & bartender at the bar are spectacular. I’d like to shout out Christian the trainer server in the theaters who is awesome. My reason for 4 stars are for the people who work at the ticket counter who really look like they don’t want to be working but at least help you with what you need.

  • Anthony Fazio

Woman's bathroom was atrocious. Hadn't been serviced in days. 2nd floor bathrooms were roped off completely closed. On the first floor bathroom my wife waited in line for 10 minutes and 1 stall was broken and all stalls were completely devoid of toilet paper, unusable. Not a luxury movie experience in the least. There were lots of employees standing around doing nothing though.

  • Darrien Heil

I live nearby and always go to this theater but the past few times the theaters have felt like it’s about 85 degrees inside. It’s like they’re trying to save money by cutting AC. Tickets are fairly cheap food is… fine. But the lack of AC is insane. I’ll try going back again but if It’s the same as the past few times I think I’m going to be switching to Silverspot in downtown.

  • Jonathan Hernandez

Watched Gran Truismo. First time visiting the movie theatre, let a lone a dining theatre. Food was delicious. Movie was great and seating comfort was deserves 5 stars. Was really disappointed because of how HOT it was in the theatre. My shirt had sweat stains from the heat. Just noticed another review about the lack of cooling system. Wish I would of read it before hand.

  • Maria Khan

Went here for $5 Tuesdays movie and it was well worth the experience at that price. Even at its normal ticket pricing, the seats are super comfortable and the theaters are great quality. If you're planning to eat dinner (or popcorn) here, though, expect to pay steep prices. A little disappointed by the small serving of cold popcorn, but otherwise good movie experience.

  • Josh McLoughlin

This place is unreasonably expensive, $20 matinee movie ticket and $12 popcorn. Hidden service fees during ticket order process. And don’t forget, automatic 20% gratuity included (even when the servers weren’t available for in-seat service and had to order outside theatre). Avoid this place like the plague. (The seats are comfortable, otherwise it would be 1 star).

  • Katie Wu

My favorite movie theater in the whole USA. I loved it when they first opened and I love it even more now. It lives up to its name - VIP Cinema Experience! The seats recline and you have a arm rest to hold your food and drinks. It's a full bar and full menu to enjoy inside the theater and outside with 2 levels with large screens for sports watching and lounging.

  • Daniel Schneider

Terrible service. That’s what you get when servers get a gratuity upfront. Manager claimed to comp a drink that was awful and served 1.5 hours after ordering with 20 percent gratuity. But he faked the comp for the returned drink, then was told he would call me to take care of issue. Never did. Disgusting unkempt bathrooms. No excuse for shameful conditions.

  • Ham burglar

Loved it..mostly. Food and drinks are well.made,so check. Prices are somewhat high...so uncheck. Theater is lovely,so check. Tickets are $25 apiece,so uncheck. Overall a well presented nice place w good food and drinks..but high prices to match. Also, drinks and food during the theater can only be ordered once as ghere "buzzer system" doesnt work. Crazy.

  • Dutch Tours

Almost liked the experience, until going to the female restroom. There is a ROACH problem. In the stall I came face to face with a roach. Ran out of the stall and two teenagers asked if I saw a roach as well. And it was not their first time seeing roaches in the bathroom. Management is obviously none existent. No one should be eating or drinking here!

  • Barby Niño

I love CMX Cinemas! The experience is top-notch from the moment you step into the lobby. The recliners are some of the most comfortable I have ever been on, and their food and service has always been great for me. Try the burger and truffle fries!! They're sooooo good! Their Sports Bar also has this giant screen... I've never seen anything like it.

  • Miz Mullah

Great movie theater! Terrible customer Service! Lousy attendants and waiters. I asked four different people for a menu and was completely ignored. It was a 3 hour movie and every time i asked for service i was Ignored! The whole reason to go there is to eat and enjoy the movie. Awful dine in experience! Would not recommend this location at all! Smh

  • D.

I came in to have a soda and watch the Game as I usually do (#GoogleMaps said "less busy than normal," they were right (20 people at the most)). The female "manager," came over and told me they are having a $30 min tonight (Ah-hahah). I guess they haven't been happy because I don't give thee "ADDITIONAL Tip," on their $6.99 Cokes.! …

  • Arlene-Christina Rivers

Expected so much better than what I experienced . Food was basic & my chair didn't work so No recliner & no light to see the menu smh. My server was cool & the drinks were pretty good I guess but for being such a main attraction in Brickell I expected better. ESPECIALLY for how much they charge per ticket. IPIC is waaaay better. …

  • Luis Cedeno

Best movie experience ever! This theater is amazing. Ticket kiosks made getting our tickets fast and easy. The staff has great customer service. The theater was clean, spacious and really comfortable. The food service was spot on. The sound system and big screen made the movie really pop. Overall amazing experience. Would recommend.

  • Melissa Melies

I used to think of this place as one of the best cinema to watch a movie , since the dining experience is a plus. Went to watch BARBIE with a group of friends , and the ambience wasn’t relevant at all. They didn’t have a Barbie box , really? After what you pay for the movie tickets and consumption, that’s the least you could get.

  • Carolina Imboden

Terrible experience. When we arrived, our seats were dirty. We ordered food and drinks and the whole order was wrong. We had to wait until half of the movie to receive the correct order and they didn’t even bring us silverware or napkins. The fact that they already include 20% tip with this terrible service, is unbelievable.

  • IDALMIS JIMENEZ

I love this movie theater! I came to see avatar with my family all excited since it is 3 hours long. When it came to ordering food they didn’t have half the menu. Everything was out of stock. They didn’t even have water bottles .. for such an expensive theater I was disappointed about the menu. I hope this gets fixed quick .

  • Todd Alexander

Sad to say it just doesn’t deliver on a nice experience. Theater air conditioning was either not set low e rough or not working well. Warm, stale, and musty air. Wait staff never stopped by us, had to go outside to order and even then items were forgotten and not delivered. Doesn’t seem to be kept up. Wouldn’t come back.

  • reinaldo leones

They have the worst service ever. There is a guy “Luis” that he could not even solve a problem. Basically he said I was lying about what time did I arrived to the movie. Really bad service. If you keep ppl like this working for you, you are gonna loose costumers every day. If you don’t know who Luis is, he is by the host

  • Gia Hidalgo

Awful awful experience. The worse movie theater I have ever been to. Halls had a terrible smell, found a ketchup container under my seat. My simple order of popcorn and soda was brought almost at the end of the movie, which by the way, went out halfway through it. Save money and time. Do not come to this theater.

  • Pedro Mas

Bad experience. I do not recommend going with a small child. You will be treated as a bother to the other movie viewers. As a father, I strongly suggest going to a more family friendly and kid friendly theatre. A long time customer lost for sure. I will never step foot back in this embarrassment of a theatre.

  • Dalton Speers

The theater is nice but they charge a 19.5% gratuity which is just absurd. The waiter says “we add it on there but you can take it off and tip whatever you want”. Like we’re going to tell him to take it off of there right in front of him? Awkward. Prices for food/drinks were outrageous.

  • Phil Tatro

Best kept secret in Brickell? Modern, comfortable, clean with quality food, drinks & amenities! Watch a matinee movie Mon-Thur for how much?? ONLY $5!! Electric reclining leather chairs, excellent service, food and beverages! Amazing!! Also extra large mega screens for all sports fans!

  • Bernice Slater

It was very nice. Hard to find theater but eventually found it. Parking was so far from the theater. Had to ask for directions. Theater clean once you find it. Servers were nice and very helpful. Food was excellent. Parking very pricey. Must bring your credit and ready to spend money.

  • Isaac Garcia

Don’t get the wings the honey lemon pepper were horrible. My grandma always told me to eat all my food but I couldn’t. I’m sorry grandma they were so bad and I had to leave two wings. Also the cookies and cream has alcohol I didn’t like that. The movie the creater was good tho 8/10.

  • Janet J

The food was not great. The seats were pretty comfy though. Service was okay. There was no napkins. Also , all woman’s bathrooms had no toilet paper or soap. They said they ran out. & the bathrooms were extremely nasty. It’s unfortunate because I feel like this place has potential.

  • nicolas cardenas

Wouldn’t call this place luxury When we ordered water he said they had none and only carried Miami’s finest (tap water). Service was terrible and slow Didn’t get napkins until I was done eating all my food. Pro the seats are comfortable but your couch probably is better

  • Leo Miceli

Incredible place. Perfect to go and see a movie or watch a game. The service is the best. You can order food directly from your seat inside the auditorium, or seat on one of the tables at the bar and order a beer or your favorite cocktail while you enjoying your meal.

  • Ayala Ramos

Great screen, perfect sound, and super comfortable large recliner seats. Don't go there too tired, or you will doze off. The food is also pretty good, and the service is great. Food is a little pricey, but I guess that's expected in a movie theater.

  • Angelina Castro

Bad horrible. Paper cups are you serious? Food quality is horrible and poor maintenance. When they first opened was a great place, fancy and worth every penny. It is a cheap pricey experience now. Disgusting. I need a new option… this one is done!

  • Steven Ahmuty

Fully recline seats are great and plenty of room but I liked it a lot better when you could order food throughout the movie. Now you only order once before the movie starts- so basically the same as a normal theater except you order while sitting.

  • Samantha C.

This is a beautiful theater, with comfy seats that recline. We had drinks, which were good, but pricey. I was not a fan of having to carry a bulky, heavy menu from the counter all the way to the theater. Why not offer a lighter or digital option?

  • Jackie Miller

Awesome experience. Theaters are beautiful and reclining chairs with privacy wings and personal side lights, luxury. Food was great and delivered to our seats very quickly. Not sure why a review said paper cups. My wine arrived in a wine glass.

  • George P

Amazing location for a movie theater. It's on the top floor of the Brickell City Center so it's an amazing spot if you have the opportunity to hang out before or after your movie. The service is prompt and their online booking platform can

  • Nikole Perea

Horrible customer service! Had to watch a 3 hour movie with out no food or drink because the waiters did not care to serve us after asking for assistance several times & keep telling us they will come back never did. Not even warned us to

  • Jacquemys Miranda

I went to go watch House of Gucci, first great movie BUT the food was so/so, before I get to that my husband had to go and get a staff member to order the food because I guess the button was not working. Now, my husband ordered the burger

  • Chauncie Fisher

I'd consider this high-end for Miami lol, 'upscale-adjacent' if you will . Alcoholic drinks, entire dinner entrées, dessert, and ofc the usual necessities (popcorn, etc) - all available here but not cheap. Whatever you do get, however,

  • Nicole Stenborg

Save for money and go to another theater, for a better experience. Then didn’t had available half of the menu or the bottles of wine. Servers didn’t bring water to our seats and we ask more than 3 times, or removed our plates. When

  • Ledian Michel

This place its a complete mess, when we walk into the theater to our seats the leftovers of the people before us was there and didn’t clean or picked up the leftovers. There was no stuff so no one cleaned or pickup the leftovers.

  • maRiano polidoRi (PoliDoc)

2 rude people took our seats and pretended they didn't understand English.... at a movie. Front desk people more than made up for this inconvenience. The place is clean, spacious and luxurious. Great service. Totally worth it

  • Cristina Hernandez

Wow finally an experience nearly how it was way before pandemic! So far 3rd location for CMX theatre, and 3rd time is a charm :) thank you Chris for making a memorable experience to celebrate yet another anniversary xoxo

  • Warren Vronay

Came in just for some water and a place to sit down. Bartender was very friendly and professional, he provided us a nice big pitcher of ice water and six cups for the four of us. Thank you for the nice spot to chill!

  • Maria Claudia Di Guida

This is the best cinema in town! Super comfortable and the food is great! They also have a bar outside, perfect for before/after the movies! We had a small problem the last time i went there, and the staff was very

  • Angelo O

Regular movie theater, only thing “vip” are its prices. Paid over $8 for a bottle of water bought at the counter. It had 19% tip included when the lady only had to open the refrigerator and hand me the bottle.

  • Elba Machado

CMX for Napoleon, it was great (not talking about the movie) but the CMX experience yes it was. Comfortable seats, good service, 2 glasses of wine and one appetizer about $70, so on the expensive side.

  • Jonathan Young

Best movie experience by far great to your seat service. Seating so spacious, comfortable recliners. Also, nice touch reading light for menu. Good sound very clear picture laser …

  • Jenyfeer Blanco

Went in to watch the Taylor swift Era tour movie and the service was great but it was very hot. I kept sweating for the 3 hours of the movie. The ac was very minimum in the theatre.

  • Maria Gonzalez

Excellent I love this theater it's beyond wow. The staff is very nice and welcoming, always ready to offer guest services! It's impeccably clean and the vibe is hip, young and fun.

  • wally

Want to see movies with people serving you food and more quiet? This is definitely the place to go. Very small and comfortable, especially for couples. Food might be a bit pricey.

  • Shannon Molina

I had an amazing time at CMX. The manager Miguel made me the most delicious cocktail and the bar attendant Fabulous gave me amazing service! Will definitely come back again …

  • Jessie Torres

We got there 30 min before the movie started so we could order food and they were out of half of the items on the menu. Don’t come here hungry. Our waiter was super nice though.

  • Joe FmGreen

Soccer, basketball, hockey, formula 1 all at once on huge screens that are well placed.Staff working hard to keep up with the crowd. Good selection of beer, limited food menu.

  • terry lawson

What an amazing experience. College football and a movie. Cold drinks, great service and an amazing location. Shout out to Lissette and Alan for making our experience amazing!

  • Andrew Choi

Good movie theater. Only bad thing is that tip is included in food purchases and it’s not mentioned or labeled as “additional gratuity” which is just bad business practice

  • Fantashia White

Mierra was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed…. I just want to give you the biggest thank you !!!!! The Luggage Family

  • Mac McCoy

EMILY WAS A PHENOMENAL BARTENDER.. SUPER ATTENTIVE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND A ABSOLUTE JOY TO BE AROUND.. SHE TOTALLY SETS THE BAR WHEN IT COMES TO SERVING A CUSTOMER!!
