Horrible service! I got tickets for one night show. But because of the hurricane Irma a lot of places were closed for couple days after hurricane. So I tried to make sure that the Theater would be open. I called them and the Robot said that they are going to be open. I also checked it on their web site, and it was said as well that they are gonna be open. So I took Uber from the Middle Beach to the Theater to watch the Show and when I arrived I saw closed doors. The next day I called them and asked why they didn't tell me anything about cancellation the Show. But they said that they had troubles with electricity which can't be true, because all the places around the Theater had electricity. And when I looked in the windows of the Theater I saw the light. So I asked to make a re screen of the show, but they said that they don't have rights for that. Ok! I missed the show, which I will not able to see again so I asked them to at least to refund the money for tickets and Uber, because I spent almost 30 dollars for the round trip. And they said that they are going to refund the money only for tickets and nothing else and asked me not to contact them anymore! I'm very very disappointed!

This place is so amazing there are no words! The films are extraordinary and the staff is so incredibly knowledgeable. They will fill you in before or after their films on little tidbits that make the viewing experience all the more enjoyable. Their concession stand is so damn cheap. A bottle of water will cost you $1. Yes, un peso mi amigo - Unlike the the armed Highway robbery of the major movie theater chains. Once they start serving wine, they will be the epitome of perfection!

I absolutely loved the whole experience. It's almost like an exclusive theater. Outside looks like an old-school theater but once you're inside it transforms to a more classic, refined feel. Although they don't have several movie selections, they all seem perfect for the cinema enthusiast. It's definitely not a place to go watch the last avengers or any other cookie cutter movie. They have seemingly great international films and they provide subtitles for them as well.

I prefer the boutique theatre over the large commercial cinema because of the cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. If you’re on calle ocho, this is certainly a destination worth visiting. I have seen a few international films here and some domestic independent classics. The staff is friendly and the popcorn is good. There is always some type of exhibit in the lobby that’s interesting. You could literally spend an entire day on this block alone. Make sure you see a movie.

I grew up in Miami, my Dad worked for WOMETCO Enterprises. He had an employee discount card, we paid .25 cents to see a movie. Tower Theater today in my life mean a lot of remembering good and simple times in the 60's. I would skip school with friends and catch a matinee. Good Memories. Thanks to all who keep the theater in great shape!

Great movie theater except for the fact that when you buy tickets on line in order to avoid making a line at the box office, you end up making a line anyway because they do not have a scanner at the door and they ask you to exchange your online paper for tickets at the box office! Other than that, I would rate it five stars!

My best movie theater. Economic, excellent customer service. They make you feel like a family member. International and alternative cinema. Original versions with subtitles in English. When the movie is in English, some sessions are subtitled in Spanish You can eat (snak) and drink a coffee. *discounts with MDCollege card!

Really nice cinema in the heart of Little Havana. It’s and old building but it’s completely renovated and it looks great. You don’t get specific seats when you book a movie but it’s usually not crowded at all so you have plenty to choose from. Tip for non English speakers, all the movies have Spanish subtitles.

I'm from Europe, and this is hands down my favorite choice of theater for foreign movies. Small and trendy but not pretentious. Comfy seats, great staff, even the coffee is good, and the location, in the heart of Little Havana, is simply unbeatable! Perfect for a movie and a dinner, makes a great night out.

  • Jesus Felipe

A great theater for foreign films. Two film auditoriums. The largest one feels like you went back in time. It feels like you are in an Art Deco screening room. Thank you Dr. Padron, MDC, Orlando and the very pleasant and accommodating staff. Love every single movie experience.

Historical Theatre located in Little Havana Miami Worth a visit you won’t be disappointed Prices are reasonably fair Great spot lots to do around the vibrant locations full of restaurants shops and live music If you love unusual independent movies you won’t be disappointed

  • Yoandy Gonzalez

The worst of the worst, I paid for a ticket online and when I get there I couldn’t get in because the room was full capacity. They sold more tickets than the total of chairs they have. No only wasted the money, also and more important the time and plan for that night.

  • Efrain Plaza

This is one of my favorite spots in Miami, they play european and latin american movies and participate in international movie festivals, excellent service from ticket office to concession stand, clean bathrooms, great sound and sitting, all details covered!

  • Marissa Lopez

Staff is extra friendly and knowledgeable regarding films! I love their popcorn size, small is the right size for me, plus popcorn tastes good, no additional fake ingredients. Friendly small theatre close to home, can go anytime, excellent foreign movies!

  • Melanie Gapany

This place is history. Literally. Every local should Make a point to see at least 1 film here. They show a lot of Cuban films that don't make it elsewhere and it's one of the least busy venues to catch a film during the Miami international Film Festival

  • Philip Dicomo

Great place to see a good movie. Clean, spacious classic theater experience. Friendly staff. Only issue was the first showing of our movie was cancelled because of a broken projector so we had to wait 3 his fur the next showing in the second theater.

  • Bryan Russowsky

I like the feel of theater but the fact that’s it’s on 8th street means I have to not recommend this unless you are already in the area. The main issue is parking is very difficult in the area and because of that I would suggest a different theater.

  • Alex R.

The City of Miami terminated the contract with Miami Dade College. Why? Are they going to show more interesting films that MDC usually did? Haven't heard anything about new programming there. It is a pity and we will see if it was worth the change.

  • Ines Cortes

Hands down the best theater in Miami. Fantastic films at a reasonable price, great seats, lovely and completely customer centric associates, super clean, good parking and a nice concession stand make Tower Theater an experience not to be missed.

  • Hiram Ruiz

Excellent venue in heart of Little Havana showing great array of foreign and indie films. The larger theater is very comfortable with large screen, the smaller one good for certain films. Nice concession stand. Only downside is limited parking.

  • miguel de beche

Loved this theatre. Beautiful auditorium, very clean, and nice lobby. The snacks were about half the price of what you would pay at other theatres. Parking lot is way too small, but there is ample street parking, and a small pay lot next door.

  • Chin lee Suloc

I just saw a Scorsese movie here last night, an independent film from Belgium, "The elephant and the butterfly." First time to this theater. Both are truly wonderful. Will come back here for more films, it was a very good experience.

  • Luis Gerardo Venegas Guerrero

Very nice theater, small but comfortable. Many restaurants and bars around where you can have a Mojito or a Cuban sandwich, before or after the show. Paybyphone options available but better arrive early so you can find a good spot

  • German V Duran

Excellent place for international and art films that are not usually showed case on most comercial venues. No worries it also show the regular & typical comercial Hollywood style teenager flicks (at a lesser frequency Thanks God).

  • Raul Trespalacios

As a child growing in Miami this was our family theater 1960's 70's and early 80's then it closed for many years, fully renovated a few years ago, now it has become a national treasure. Always in many Cubans heart..❤ Thank you

  • Dan Rangel

What an incredible restoration to such a beautiful and a historic facility. Can you wait to watch a wonderfully produced documentary. My wife and I had a great experience being here. In the heart of Little Havana it is a gem.

  • Ernesto Camacho

Overall, a pleasant, fun and educational experience. Moves away from the Common theater experience with foreign movies that would otherwise go unnoticed in other theaters. A major thumbs up to the wonderful, dedicated staff

  • Vanessa Arias Ruiz

Beautiful historical theater to watch non-commercial movies. It was opened in 1926, so it's one of Miami's landmarks. It's located in "Calle 8", Little Havana, it has street parking around, and the staff is very nice.

  • Lillian Mayor

Nice to have modern stadium seating at an arthouse. Well kept and clean. Only one box-office window - old school. Parking in back of theater and in lot between it and McDonald's. Concessions available. Cool retro vibe.

  • Tali Kadoch

Experienced the most antisemitic show here. The staff said "I can't take things personally". I guessed that's what everyone said during WWII. Shame on you for sanding up to religious hate, never coming back.

  • scott washington

The best way to cap off any day of relaxation is a nice movie and some popcorn. Instead of raising my stress levels by dealing with long lines and crying babies, I tried something new by visiting O Cinema.

  • Malva Bee

We have a wonderful experience in Little Habana! I highly recommend this theater, even if the screen is small. The staff is very friendly and helpful, film quality and sound are good. Cozy place.Nice.

  • erin b

Amazing theater. The venue has a classic old school theater vibe. They have a great selection of international movies and the prices are reasonable. Great place to go for a unique movie experience.

  • Michael Valeron

Came to see a movie that was only playing here. First time here but was pleasantly surprised. So assigned seating so everyone sat in middle. Seats were comfortable. Concessions had beer and wine.

  • Carla Fernandez

Really charming cinema with a lot of foreign films that are very difficult to find in other places. The staff is also very exceptionally friendly and the prices unbeatable for the value you get.

  • Spencer Marks

This movie theater is operated by Miami-Dade College in the of heart of Little Havanna, Miami. Movies are generally artistic and foreign that are not widely distributed. Very clean and well run.

  • Orlando Alvarez

Great movies. Not your regular movies but very well made. Fantastic directors. Usually first rated movies. Made in all countries for most people of the world. Very well made..by some of %hg.

  • Liborio Cubano

There's neither parking space nor valet parking. I had to lose my 2 tickets for that reason. The only way to park is out of premises using an app, providing your credit card. It's a pity.

  • Denia Solis

In a busy street but the theater is nice and quaint. Went on Wednesday night and there wasn't long lines or a ton of people. Nice crowd. Definitely my favorite theater to go to in Miami.

  • Mirosław Siemieniuk

Its a very unusual type of cinema - in the positive sense of the word - as they show foreign language films, not Americans. I watched there Midwife and Letters From Bagda. Great for me!

  • Michael Herman

Always love going to movies here, easy parking, great movies, good restaurants and clubs nearby. After the movie, go across the street to Azucar, cortadido ice cream! Delicious !!!

  • Brian Gerber

The Tower's 2 theaters show really good art movie. The neighborhood is full of music, bars, cafes, and restaurants. The theater building has a really nice deco design. A winner!!!

  • Olivier Secache

Personally I do love tis movie theatre. The team is always friendly, good choice of movies despite they have only two screens. Not a state of the art MT, but excellent though...

  • Areeba Burris

We had a great time with my friends at this movie theater. The place was huge and nice. It was really perfect for public entertainment. We enjoyed watching movies at this place.

  • Kevin Zatkovich

Comfortable seats, never an issue with parking. The concession prices are very affordable, and the screen is a good size. They always show great independent films and premiers.

  • Annabel Inman

We were here for the Miami Film Festival. It was quaint, comfortable and we enjoyed the several short films that day. We didn't go by concessions but I believe they have them.

  • Dolores Longo

Sadly, the theater was empty and you, now, have to pay to park with an app and I never could get the app to work, after trying for 1/2 hr. Fortunately, I did not get a ticket.

  • Antoinette Herrera

This Art Deco gem is a splendid place for movie lovers. Clean, well lit, with with reasonable ticket prices and wonderful concessions, smack dab in the heart of Little Havana.

  • Marcial Barros

You can catch great movies here that are not in the commercial circuit. After the movie the area is full of restaurants, bars and other venues to entertain you and your party.

  • Danny Suarez

If you need a quaint, clean, and lovely place to watch today's best independent films, then this is the place for you. Love the location, prices, and awesome film selections.

  • Thomas Felasco

Historical movie theater which offers a variety of foreign films (with English subtitles) and independent films. Well managed, clean and has a small parking lot in the rear.

  • Paola Paipa

We watched the motive it was a good movie, I like that they put these underdogs one because they're actually pretty good I think they need more publicity outside the place

  • Bruce Chipps

Very cool, old school movie theater playing "art films." Enjoyable, clean, comfortable, not much more to ask for in a theater. Feel part of history go see something here!

Went to watch "Ash is the Purest White" for an English class assignment. Overall, it was a pretty nice experience. It has an old-school vibe to it.

  • Tania Ponce

The Tower Theater is one of the few theaters in Miami showing independent and foreign movies. MDC is doing an amazing job managing the theater.

  • xeph

I love this place as it is, under MDC - old, full of movie magic and home to Miami Film Festival. One of few remaining historic local theatres

  • Antonio Calafell

Nice venue...good movie...only problem you can hear events that are loud going on outside of the theater...tourist area with lots of activity
