This museum is truly spectacular and undeniably warrants a visit. It's not solely dedicated to illuminating the captivating local history—which, by the way, it does exceptionally well—but also delves into the rich tapestry of Australian history at large. The exhibits are masterfully curated, featuring intriguing Aboriginal artifacts that pique one's curiosity. The downstairs collection is a little ho hum but the upstairs collection is excellent. The period costumes in the drawers are in great condition and the old grape press from the first German vintners brought out by the Macarthur family are definitely worth a look. Plus, the volunteer guides are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and go the extra mile to help you.
This is an amazing museum. Well worth a visit, not just for local history, which it is great for, but also just Australian history in general. Great displays and some fascinating Aboriginal items as well. Highly recommended.
Great local museum with a limited budget. Their online offer is even better so much detail about this historic locale is available for the curious visitor and historian alike.
Nice place to visit and enjoy the architecture. The town has the architecture of a bygone era. This type of building is rarely seen in Sydney, more's the pity!
We really enjoyed our visit. So much history and old items on display. The staff are always up for a chat or answer questions! I highly recommend a visit.
Quite large/huge upstairs area.. lots of history. The volunteers even act as Guides if you're interested enough

When architecture meets modern lifestyle and is restored, the heritage of an area is on show for all to see and enjoy.
Small museum with two storeys full of old camden memorabilia. Nice place to take kids to have a look for an hour or so
