My car is worse than when I brought it in, all that was wrong was the fan continued to run after the car was switched off and the oil warning light kept coming on when starting the car. When I picked up my car, the engine and the inside of the bonnet had oil all over and I was told that this is because the garage had not replaced the cap and oil spilled out. I was also told the timing chain was faulty and needed to be replaced which would cost in excess of R25k; as I drove out of the service centre, the engine light turned on (this has never happened before); I turned around and the manager drove the car into the service bay and after about 45 minutes I was told it was some plug that wasn't properly secured. Now my car is making a rattling sound when starting and this does not stop even when the engine warms up and I have been driving for a while. I now need to book my car in for condition assessment so that I can get a proper report and take the car to another shop for repairs.

Since the moment I first contacted the branch on Ontdekkers, and spoke to Richard, until I got my vehichle back it was such a great pleasure knowing I made the right choice in choosing Car Service City. There is more work to be done on my vehicle which I cannot do immediately, but Richard has been pro-actively in contact with me and giving me quotes for the work that still needs to be done. As I am a women who dont know about the mechanical parts of cars, he even explained the risks and what may happen if I dont fix it soon. He gave me advise on what to do and what not, and as soon as I have the money ready I will take my car back for the service my car deserves. Even though Ann stood to gain nothing from assisting me, she helped me with a big smile and asked for nothing in return, even when I insisted on making a payment for the assistance she provided she declined. Popped in for inquiries on my car diagnostic, they did a quick rest within few mins ofwhich many dealers workshops wanted to book the car so they tell me stories to make money out of me. Workshop manager was excellent and had an ear to listen since many workshops dont like when someone understands ehat they want or know car issues.

Check everything on your car. Went in for a service, came back with a massive oil leak all of a sudden and engine covers loose and halfway put back. Car was full of oil inside and out. Cannot be trusted to work on a bicycle. They are clearly looking for come backs and extra business busy not doing work properly

I always receive good service, prices are little steep, but not too bad and definitely worth every cent, my car runs like a Dream and hasn't given me any problems in two years, will definitely be returning for my next service and I would recommend anyone give this place a visit.

Booked car for major service. Communication regarding service progress non-excisting. Was informed the car will be ready when arrived was told it was not ready. Came back the next day and had to wait for30 minutes for an invoice. Will not be back. Will not recommend.
