I've been going to this park since my girl turned five months old. Practically everyday, if not twice a day! Yes, she is spoiled. I have to say I've met some really great people. So has my girl. Though it is unfortunate some owners had a bad impression of the park, due to an aggressive dog, I also know we can't check their credential at the gate. Trust me, if I could I would. Every park is going to have its issues with people and/or pets. Very rarely did I experience or witness an aggressive dog harm another. But it does happen as it would in any other dog park. Sadly, it's hard to predict, in some cases, what triggers a dog to go off. Try not to judge the park based on random bad tempered dogs, instead make it your dogs favorite play area. With that being said I will continue to take my 2 1/2 year old lab to her favorite place to meet her friends as well as my own.

The park is in need of some maintenance in the main play area. We didn't venture to the other due to so many children and family members congesting the area, not wearing mask. ( BEWARE!!! NO ONE IS WEARING ANY FACIAL COVERING AT THE PARK!!!) Beside my family and myself. Other than that, it's fairly sized, restrooms are clean they even have soap and sanitizer dispensers. The desert landscape is beautiful in the "What if you lived 20,000 years ago" trail. It has informative information and an excellent learning experience for children and adults included. A nice size, beautiful outdoor amphitheater with stage lights and lawn seating. ( Which AWESOME to roll down). Perfect for walks, runs and bike rides. Also has a field for sports. Check it out!

Great park! Plenty of grassy space, covered picnic tables with grills, and the splash pad is my personal favorite! The actual park itself is designed extremely well. Tunnels, giant slides, a rock wall, and your typical park equipment and swings (you have to go through the tunnels to find the swings). The only downfall is that everything is ON FIRE during the hottest parts of the day... as usual in Vegas summer. Also, bring water shoes for the littles if they use the splash pad because the park's ground outside of the water area is literal lava! Besides that, this is one of my favorite parks to take my kiddo!

It has a really nice and big grass area where you can just chill, picnic, play with your dog, run around, or play sports. There’s also a soccer field, beach volleyball courts, kids playground, and dog off leash areas too. The covered picnic areas have different sizes, if you’re having a party get one of the lettered ones, they’re the big ones. They have grilling area and benches and tables under the roof. The Dog area is pretty big and has grass, there’s small and dog areas, and tons of water fountains for them.

First of all, I am a park connoisseur LOL, and this park hit all the stops! Nice bathrooms, all the essentials stocked, and it's clean next. The play structures are awesome and fun! There are many places to sit and enjoy nature and places to take a nice stroll. There are many fun and educational things to see and there is even a huge stage. I love this park and I'm sure you and yours will too!

Editing my review to 5 stars!!! New water fountains and new grass in the dog park as of 8/15/22!!!! Great park! Great walking paths and kid toys, sports fields for soccer and volleyball pits! The dog park needs work, it's mostly dirt and very few trees. The water fountains are usually broken. It seems like the city is neglecting this park, but hopefully it's on the list to get attention soon.

Very nice splash pad! Also has a very good hiking place. Me and car Susthecrwemate and I have to go to the park to get the park and I’ll be there at the bath room and then I’m going to the park and then I’m going to the park and then I’m going to the park and then I’m going to the park and then I’m going to the park and then I’m going to the park and then I’m going to

Excellent free concert in this beautiful amphitheater. This is definitely a hidden gem in Centennial Hills Park. When I planned to go to a free concert in the park, I didn't expect such a wonderful amphitheater. I thought it was going to be a small amphitheater shell in the park but boy was I wrong! The concert itself was amazing....top notch talented musicians!

  • Shaun Keefe

This park is amazing. It is massive and has a huge children's playground. Tennis courts, open fields, and so many other things to do. Plenty of places to hold outdoor events and birthday parties. The kids playground is well maintained and grounds are well kept.
Dog-friendliness
There are dog bag stations available to aid on picking to dog leavings.

This is a large park. Multiple playgrounds and covered areas for birthday parties. Lots of seating, benches, and grassy areas. There are two splash pads, at each playground area. The red play area (deer springs entrance) looks pretty new and in good condition then there is an older playground (buffalo entrance) that has chipped/faded area.

This park has everything! Plenty of table space, 7 slides, splash pad, lots of interactive playground activities, unusual but safe swings! Lots of colorful visuals. But shabby!! Where are you parks and rec? A little paint would restore the magic to this playground! Even the caterpillars upgrade could turn them into butterflies!

Very large park with 2 great play structures as well as information about dinosaurs, a hiking trail and a water splash pad area. There's lots of grassy areas as well and so much you see and do. We met up with our homeschool group and everyone had a blast. It's a drive for me living in Henderson but well worth it.

  • Jace Moore

Large playground with plenty of shade and a seasonal water play area. The playground ground is very worn in places and can be hard for new walkers. Two of the large slides were closed off. There was a good bit of trash throughout the park. Restrooms were open. Overall a great playground, but it needs more care.

  • Greg Hayes

Where the dog roams. Nothing grand about it but has grass, big and the people are chill. Little dog and big dog park. Big dogs include GD, danes, huskies, pits, mastiffs, labs, prys, belgiums...I mention this because social media paints these dogs are in attack mode. Not so, come in, let them smell and run.

  • Dianna Kay

Beautiful park! Very family, pet friendly. Delicious food venders. FABULOUS FREE CONCERT with Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway, and many other Bluegrass Bands. AMAZING TALENT. It was a fantastic day/evening. Plenty of restrooms available. LOVE VEGAS!
Playground

The trainer I am using for my 8 lb puppy. Uses centennial park for a location for training. Centennial Park is 1 mile from my home. I was there last Saturday and won't go back again. These pictures will tell you why. It took me over an hour to get all that off of her. She even had them in her paw pads.

  • Brandi S

Saw some bad reviews about needles? Nothing here. A little run down but clean and has a LOT of space and things for kids to do. Rock wall, slides, tunnels, jungle gyms, etc. My daughter is loving it! And it’s not populated at early morning. Just older people walking dogs ‍♀️ …

During the 105-120 degree summers of Las Vegas, local public parks have free mini water parks inside for everyone to play with. You press a button and it turns on the whole water splash zone. This one is located at the second entrance to Centennial Park near the Centennial library.

  • Stacia Hearn

We absolutely love this park near the YMCA and the library. All the families and kids there were friendly and kind. The water feature was a plus since the kids were hot after playing tag with some other kids there. They have an outdoor amphitheater where they have concerts.

  • coachlunk Rubio

This is a great park. It has a little bit of everything. Be sure to checkout all the walking trails. Mayne you'll catch a impromptu concert in the pavilion. The dinosaur trail is cool and has some good history and views. Interesting to think this area was underwater.

  • Velvette Williams

I like that they updated some of the butterflies and flower shades. The playground material under the feet have patches replaced, but it looks like it needs to be fully redone. The park could benefit from a spray down early mornings and nights.

  • Paul C

4 stars because the water fountains don't work often and a cloughed alot. Friendly owner's. Regulars who all know each other and know each other's dogs. People are very curtious to one another and one another's pets. Up to 30 dogs at a time

  • Melissa Olivero

This area of the park needs so TLC my 3 year old kept falling when she was playing with her brothers because she would trip on the holes. We went for a walk around the park and found they had another small park area that seems so much nicer.

  • Don Rico

-Great splash pad to take the kids. Have been to the different parts of the park but didn't take photos. The photos are the play area off the main entrance. I love how large the splash pad and play structures are. They allow for a lot of

Another very nice park. There are a number of sand volleyball courts. There are play areas for kids, a nice path to ride a bicycle and a very large area to spend hours at and have lots of fun. Restrooms are clean and spacious.

We go here often. It's a nice park with 2 unique playgrounds a short walk from each other. Both with water pads. And a walking/biking trail. Lots of greenery and tables to hang out at. I also love its right by the library.

  • G

It’s too bad the park has been neglected for so long. It’s looks like it used to be a nice looking park. All the flooring has begun to tear apart. Too bad the city doesn’t keep the parks better maintained for the children.

  • Amanda G

It's a pretty decent park, but has been kinda trashy lately. We prefer the Dinosaur side over the Butterfly side. Splash pass are nice just make sure your kids have water shoes! Random bits of trash all over unfortunately.

  • K Hopkins

I enjoyed visiting the park. I do not understand how the grass is maintained in this weather. The park was clean. However, the trash cans needed dumped. These pigeons!! Too close and a little too bold for me. …

  • Alex Wasden

This entire park area is very nice. We go to the dog park often and also take our kids to the playground from time to time. They've put new grass into the dog park and it's very nice for the dogs!

  • craig nunnally

It has a large playground, a nice water area to splash in, a walking trail, amphitheater, volleyball courts, soccer fields, and other things. It's also right next to the library.

  • Jessica Minard

Needs better taken care of. If it was taken care of it would be a perfect place to take your kids, dogs, or just to walk.
