I wore a necklace from there for a whole year before the chain broke. And I had the lifetime warranty so I went back to get it fixed. First off it took one month to fix the chain, when I was told it would take two weeks. And the day after receiving the chain back it broke again. So I went back to the same-store and I told them that something happened again. And they berated me and called me an idiot and told me I didn't know how to take care of my jewelry. I was a little taken aback so I didn't say anything then, and I went on my way. I waited for the call for them to tell me it was fixed again. Once I got it back the second time and took it home. I took it out of the bag and it broke again. Not only did it break a third time. But I noticed where they had fixed the original brake on my silver jewelry, they used gold to get it back together. Horrible customer service by the older staff, the younger staff were super friendly, but the older staff are the one that berated me in front of everyone and call me an idiot and irresponsible, and how customers just never know how to take care of stuff it was unbelievable.

Very poor service at the Charm St-Laurent Mall (Ottawa location). This week I walked into the store looking for a Christmas gift for my wife. I literally stood and walked around the shop for 25 minutes, waiting for an attendant, or at a minimum an acknowledgement that I was there, and present at the store. A simple hello would be nice. It is difficult to rate my experience as poor service, because I was not served at all. The store was not overwhelmingly busy and there was at least one unoccupied attendant at the time, as I attempted to get information on an item I wanted to purchase. I eventually left and purchased my wife’s Christmas gift at a neighbouring jewelry store. I have been a loyal Charm customer for many years, however, I do not believe I will step foot in this establishment again. This was an embarrassing event for me (the customer), and an embarrassing situation for your establishment in terms of customer service quality.

My wife and I walked into the 1200 St. Laurent BLVD. location to get her ring inspected and cleaned as per our obligation to keep the warranty in good standing. Within seconds of entering the store, PARISA greeted us with kindness and a smile as she always does. My wife was looking at a different just for fun while hers was being looked at. My wife made a joke saying she wanted that one as a replacement. Long story short, I ended up upgrading to the new one, but I didn't want my wife knowing until the sale was finalized. Parisa went out of her way to help me keep it a secret and when it was all said and done, she purposely handed ME the ring so I could put on my wife's finger. We have always had a great experience at this location especially with Parisa but this visit took the cake.

I came in looking for a gift for my friend and the only time I will ever go back to this store is to return the gift. There were 2 younger ladies who were helpful and nice but one middle aged woman was extremely condescending and pushy. Just because I may look young, I don’t want to be treated as a child. Unfortunately she was not wearing a name tag and I did not ask for her name but she tainted my experience shopping at this store. Now I don’t even want to wear the jewelry I bought because I have a bad taste in my mouth from my interaction with the salesperson. I wish you could train your staff to be nicer to customers - something that should be inherent in this line of business.

Find another jewelerthis company is garbage! St laurent location has stuck up workers that wont allow you to compare different items at same time neither do they suggest or help in anyway shape or form. I showed them the issue and offered to pay to fix it even though i bought the $230 insurance one employee says its doable then the next says no then they go to the back have a little meeting and now all come out saying we cant do anything neither did they bother to help resolve the issue so AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Not very nice service, inattentive, mildly rude. Dirty store (look at the baseboards, crusty carpet, dust). Staff weren't very helpful. They sized my engagement ring incorrectly and now I need to pay for another sizing. Griffin is just down the hall from Charm and it was a much better experience. Thanks

Went above and beyond to wrap a gift for my friends gift I bought at the store. I asked if they had a box I could buy to make it look nice and she actually wrapped it up and it didn’t cost extra. Highly recommend to buy your presents here

i have been going to Charm for a least ten years or more .always getting top notch service .great service and people going out of there way to satisfied you .never had a complaint about service or staff
