#attitude #efficieny #documents #verification #help #rude #impatient Worst experience ever, the women behind the tables is not helpful at all repeatedly reiterating that applicants to read instructions, condescending tone of voice, non-empathetic attitude. If there is by all means necessary I would not wish to present myself to this place ever again, it is as though they do not wish for people to return to China and do not work to help their fellow "tong zhi" countrymen. And to be honest the entire place is not busy at all but the desk counter is not willing to spend time to help and re-direct just simply dismissing the people that is coming into the centre. Tip: Chinese people that come to Australia should just give up your pathetic 3rd world China passport because wherever you go requires a visa. Also if China is so great don't settle in Australia and get a PR citizenship or an education I'm sure China can accommodate its people. Long Live Mao Ze Dong Amen

Annoyed at the experience with them: Passport arrived and I received no email to collect it. The phone kept disconnecting and then finally the 7th call connected. Couldn't book an appointment to collect because I had to send an email (even though I had no idea if they received my passport or not) and call at a different time and speak to a specific staff in charge of booking appointments. I can understand if it takes time to process and email to book collection appointment. But this is a passport, it's a very important piece of document. It would be nice if we got a confirmation or acknowledgement that they have received our passport. If I knew that this process was going to take so much time, I would have paid for a flight and picked up my passport from the issuing country. There isn't even an estimated wait time.

My experience this time is better than previous reviews. The process was fast, and customer service was good too. I actually was a bit surprised as I’ve heard from word of mouth that how horrendous the service is over here. Hope they can maintain their standard of services and customer service skills.

Is there any chance that these spam call that are saying they are coming from the Chinese Embassy can be tracked down and stopped. My daughter got 3 in one day and I just got one before. I have blocked every number but they are still calling so getting rid of them all would be nice, thank-you

The service was friendly to me was excellent. I only didn't give 5 because the photographer was only in Chinese. I worked it out but a translation card next to it with a photo of the buttons would be good. I thought I had all the copies I needed but I needed one more.

Not helpful. I tried to call to renew my HK passport, no one answers the phone. They only email and give the link. The link is so confusing. I tried a lot of times, always finding trouble uploading the HK passport photo. I tried to apply by

Some steps are not clarified clearly on the website. Could not reach staff (a phone number) when needed. One of the staff was very kind to remind me of sending additional materials over the phone. The other staff was very impatient and rude

I honestly sympathies with the Chinese people. Not only does their government care very little about them in their own country, they care even less when a Chinese national find's him/herself in a foreign country! This is the ONLY, yes the

Just had my HK passport collected there. Very responsive when I contacted them through email and very efficient to arrange the collection. Staffs are very friendly and helpful including the security guard at the front. Thank you very much!

Looking through the review, I was really surprised at all these negative comments. I actually went there myself to renew my passport. With all the documents really it was done smoothly. Although I did get sent away to retake my photo, it

It's shameful how you treat your own citizens. It's almost impossible to get any help at all. Very limited government services being offered - mostly need to be done domestically so I don't quite get what's the point of having an embassy

Took friend with her 3 years girl to certified documents. The only thing is the web site did not give much information, however the staff are very patient, even my friend did not have enough doc, we have to wait send from China, after

its ridiculous that since everything is opened up in Melbourne, and they are still closed and not sure when they will be opened up again. My passport is with them and only can do express mail post to receive it and I

Painful process, awfully attitude, wrong information was provided multiple times via officers and they keeps saying it is my fault. Had to reschedule flight 2 times (if there is any issue, never their fault)

Not open to assist face to face, don't return emails, don't answer calls. My passport has expired, and I haven't been able to visit family in 3 years due to issues with it.

Terrible service! tried to call over 5 times, it rang for about 20 minutes and then hanged up automatically. No one answers the phone at all...

Worst queues, no information. Propoganda everywhere. I doubt i will get my visa today, wonder if travel insurance covets 'acts of stupidity'

As of today, I haven't found any problems that others were sharing, maybe it was the covid time of trouble. Keep up the good work pls.

  • Zihe Zhou

Easy process if you read their website/app and follow the instruction carefully. If you’re not tech savvy it can be a bit hard.

The staffs there are very efficient, helpful and polite. It was a pleasure to visit.
