La pire expérience de cinéma de ma vie. Nous sommes empilés (environ 40 personnes, capacité de la salle environ 50) dans la salle 4 sans air conditionné alors qu'il fait environ 35C dehors. Un employé met le conditionneur en marche avant le début du film ce qui nous fait espérer une amélioration. L'appareil arrête de fonctionner quelques minutes plus tard. Nous quittons (avec quelques autres clients) à mi-chemin du film, suants à grosse goutte. Les employés nous disent que le proprio est au courant et qu'il y a eu plusieurs visites de techniciens sans succès. Opérer un commerce de cette façon dépasse l'entendement. Plus jamais le Cinéma Cartier. J.A.M.A.I.S.

An okay movie theatre in the city I go there often as there's next to nothing in downtown QC city Selection is alright but like most places offers little in english Food is overpriced as with any movie theater My complaint would be towards the inconsistency with the sound quality... MOST of the times the sound is absurdly loud (I took the habit of bringing earplugs... It's that bad) and sometimes it sounds like some sound channels are extremely undertuned (the voice channel) and any other channels are just overtuned. If you got no way to the more popular theatres, it is a good spot

The price is relatively cheap and the location is convenient for people living in the city and there are fewer ads than in most theaters. But the rooms are rather small and there are no elevators. You have to climb the stairs. It can be a problem if you're with a person with disabilities or if you have young kids with a stroller. Also, good luck finding a parking spot in the city. It's probably a better idea to come using public transportation.

Great little gem of a theatre and amazing customer service. Stopped by Monday night to catch a movie and the girl at the front cash was absolutely lovely. Yes the room was a bit tiny compared to big theatres but it made it super intimate and I did not mind it at all. We dropped our nachos and the cashier was quick to give us a refill even though she absolutely did not have to as it was our fault. Would definitely return and recommend!

Petit cinéma. J'avais vraiment pas cette image de cinéma lorsque nous y sommes allés en attendant que notre famille arrive en avion. Le prix du billet est moins cher que les grosses bannières. La qualité des salles est discutable. Nous etions juste nous deux dans la salle pour botre film alors je ne peux pas décrire l'ambiance pour une salle avec tous kes sièges d'occupés.

Very good place to see a movie in english in Quebec city. They don't have the best sales or too much movies but they have the main movies. They also have good things with clients. For example they had some problems with sound during the movie projection I was watching and they offered everybody at the end of the movie a new pass to see another movie for free.

The air conditioning in Salle 4 was not working on this hot July day. When we complained to the young employees about the heat which had reached a dangerous level, especially for the elderly, they said the owner was aware of the problem. The fact that tickets were sold for that room indicates nothing good about the owner and how he operates his property.

Petites salles ne veut pas forcément dire expérience moindre. Certes, l'écran est plus petit mais je vois ce cinéma comme une alternative aux salles à 300 sièges. Aucun regret. C'est un endroit que j'aime pour sa petite taille. Sur certains murs, vous pourrez admirer des photos agrandies de l'établissement à travers les âges.

Petit cinéma de quartier, on y trouve tout les films recentsen anglais et français. Les horaires des scéances sont cependant pas très bien étudié et il y a parfois plusieurs heures avant la projection d'un film. Les fauteuils sont confortables et les lieux propre. Une bonne scéance, et une bonne soirée.

The way the screen and the projector are setup, the back rows couldn't see the whole screen so we had to sit in the front row which wasn't ideal for our neck. Maybe a little overpriced but if I that's the only place I can see the movie I want in english I will probably come back.

Perfect for English-speaking individuals and date nights! One of the few cinemas playing new English original version movies (we saw Jumanji: The Next Level). The staff were friendly, the popcorn hot, fresh, and tasty, and the theatre itself small, cozy and comfortable.

I'd love to contribute to independent cinema, but here it's a bit more complex than other places. Finding a parking is a nightmare. Waiting outside, not good. Pop corn not very good, and even fountain drinks treated oddly. Very good film selection.

Affordable prices by American standard with French and English show times. Pleasant staff and cheap popcorn to boot. Think we paid probably $20 for two tickets, a popcorn and a drink so not bad. Check website for English and French showtimes!

It's a great cinema. A little bit smaller than what you would expect, but they keep a very well balanced mix of blockbusters and indie movies on their schedule, prices are very honest and the rooms are great. Excellent seating, good sound.

Beau petit cinéma de quartier. Petite salle d'une 30aine de place, mais l'ambiance y est tout de même. (4 sur 5 parce que mon banc était très usé et incomfortable - la salle était assez pleine et à deux il n'était possible de se déplacer)

This is a gem of a theater. The screening room I went in was a bit small but that just made the whole thing into an intimate experience with a few other strangers. I had a great time and would love to go again the next time I'm in QC.

Petites salles intimes. Sièges confortables et TRÈS spacieux. Qualité d'image incroyable ... et la sonorisation tout simplement WoW! Grignotines somme toutes abordables. Représentation des Grands Explorateurs ... gros plus.

Cinéma très sympa, les employés sont gentils et ils ont un bon choix de gourmandises. Par contre cela fait plusieurs fois qu’il y a un problème avec le son, il faut limite se concentrer pour écouter et c’est un peu gênant.

How a cozy and charming on-the-corner cinema could be! Nice movies selection (all ages and groups) friendly staff, various snacks counter, better than big cinema corporations. Please improve toilets cleaning. Congrats!

It is a good cinema. Although it is a small place but it is comfortable enough. The movies are up to date too. The staffs are also nice. There are options for movie in english or french. Great place.

Walls are made of cardboard so we could hear the movie next door. But otherwise, thr price was great, the food was cheaper than expected and it's really a cute little place. I will go back.

Pre screening of Avengers endgame. Cinema was absolutely packed - would have been good to have allocated seats as it was very difficult to tell what was / wasn't available.

La qualité sonore de la salle 2 était exécrable. Un système de son maison aurait été mieux. Minuscule salle (avec Oui de cachet...mais) qui manque d'amour et d'attention.

J'apprécie ce petit cinéma. Il est convivial et particulièrement bien situé au coeur du du quartier Montcalm. Sachez cependant qu'il y a un escalier raidillon à utiliser.

Les films les plus tendances sont à l'affiche. Ça semble très petit de l'extérieur mais c'est grand. Plusieurs salles de cinéma. Le personnel est accueillant.
