A few words come into my mind when I think of Cycle Sharks - first class service, underpinned by a very friendly and knowledgeable owner Marco. My experience was really positive.I was looking for a dedicated summer road bike to complement my gravel/endurance winter bike, Marco advised based on my size I should consider a Colagno in size 42, I then had the bike configured to the specifications I required (asymetrical carbon wheels, tpu tubes, red/black bar tape) I must mention Marco was invaluable in offering sound advice based on the fact he himself is a very experienced cyclist, simple suggestions such as a shorter crank arm. Furthermore, I have to commend Marco on being upfront, e.g the outfront garmin mount supplied was missing the gopro mount, however Marco reassured when the right part turns up, he will let me know, and yes he did let me know - a man of his word! One thing Marco also suggested to try the Assos winter range of clothing as he asked do I cycle during winter, which I and he said I must try Assos and I wont regret the spend...well I have to agree! The money spent was well worth it, the base layer and winter jacket fits me really well, and as per Marco's suggestion that I only needed these two items is absolutely correct! I was more than comfortable and was warm at 6 to 7c, even with headwinds upto 15kmph and this was tested on a 100km morning ride. What else is there to mention? Fantastic coffee is on offer and you are made to feel at home and welcome. I guess I will be stopping more often at the shop just to have coffee and a banter!

Everyone can open a shop, but not everyone has an eye of an expert. I have been struggling with my bike the past year & invested much on mechanics with no proper solution. I travelled to meet Marco “owner of cycles shark shop” to get his professional advice. The moment I stepped in, he was able to identify the flaws and took a deep look and stripped the bike off. I was surprised with what I saw, and surprised how previous mechanics couldn’t get to see the damage. He said one sentence: “ Every Bike I deal with, I treat it as if it’s my own bike” He could have easily tried to tempt me and purchase a new bike. His honesty and transparency is something that is respected. Thank you Marco for your advice! Worth the drive

Cycles Shark Brand new premises in Northenden, Wythenshaw looks amazing. Bike maintenance & Bike fitting services and great coffee are all available at Cycles Shark. Marco really helped me and worked hard to prepare my Open Wi.de for this year’s Lost Dot Transpyrenees race, servicing my brakes, replacing headset, bottom bracket and wheel bearings. The bike was super smooth was superb throughout the ultra race. I’m so grateful to him for sorting it so quickly. Marco stocks many top brands including Colnago, Willier, and many others, stocking a comprehensive range of components too. I have returned to Cycles Shark a few times to buy my bikes and would do again.

I went in today on opening day... really great bike shop and service. Took my bike in with a puncture and not only did they fix the puncture but they checked the bike over and tightened my brake. I also had a very tasty coffee whilst waiting. I'll be going back here for all my bike servicing in the future and it'll be the first place I go to when I need a new bike.

Amazing, my bike had been in a bit of a bad way after a coming off it. But the guys at cycles shark brought it back to life and is like brand new again. So happy with it. the service is amazing the owner really knows his bikes, he is very passionate and professional. Had it all back to perfect in 1 day .. great guy great place. 5*

Took my daily commuter bike in to be serviced and was very pleased with the service. Marco was meticulous in checking the bike and really went above and beyond to make sure absolutely everything was running smoothly - it runs like a dream know. On a completely different note the coffee is amazing and I will return just for that.

Used their website. Couldn't have been a worse experience. Had to chase them when the parcel wasn't delivered. Was told it was on route. Didn't reply. Went around in circles for a month. Then asked for a refund and got now reply. Now going through my bank to get the refund. Would avoid unless you enjoy having your time wasted.

I am beyond impressed with the exceptional bike service at Cycles Shark. Marco has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to bike industry! And the staff members so helpful . The riding community here is fantastic and the coffee here is certainly worth tasting. I would highly recommend you check it out!
