"The police force has issues that need reviewing ! Too many both now and years ago have been accepted into the force when they shouldn't have been ! They do nothing when you report assaults for example but if something happens to an emergency service worker its instant jail I believe ! Well you volunteered for a job and conditions that aren't always nice ! You get paid regardless of if you do your job or not ! That's not the way it is in the private sector you get the sack if you're lazy or incompetent ! No appeals ! No suspension with pay ! One awful Sgt at this station has an arm of tattoo's it's a very unprofessional look for a high profile job tatts weren't allowed years ago so why now ? Political correctness at this station is mad ! One non white female constable rarely leaves the station and seems to be permanently assigned as a paper shuffler ! This station has a long history if having a bad reputation ! If dandenong police want public respect then treat people the way you want to be treated ! Too many trainee constables at this station can barely speak English !"

Since I was a child I used to believe that if the police or the law found out my pschopath father had been severely abusing me he would end up in jail or at least held accountable...However when I finally found the courage to seek help from police they failed miserably and at protecting me or charging the perpatrator. As a direct result of the police negligence, my father became even more vicious and sadistic in his abuse because he now realized how easily he could deceive the police and he made sure he reminded me of his immunity and that the law would not be able to help me from him if I were to try and get help again. And he was right, no matter how hard I tried to get help my father always got his way and he after each attack he would just sit there with a smug sinister grin which indicated his satisfaction. He ended up feeling like he was so above the law that he began turning police into his puppet by using them as instruments of abuse to inflict damage onto me. He made serious false accusations for his own entertainment and sat back and watched as I got arrested, questioned, mistreated and further re-traumatised. And the most disgusting part was that he blameshifted and used the acts of violence and threats he had inflicted on me by claiming he was the victim of those same behaviours. And to ensure he got away with his psychopathic behaviour and false accusations he did the most cunning and twisted stunt...he told the police that I had schizophrenia and mental health issues and the police ended up taking the bait, hook, line and sinker. But what makes this situation so tragic is the level of incompetence displayed by the police, the fact that they did not even bother to chect the facts or confirm my medical history and yet quite happily allowed themselves to be fooled by my father. Either my father is a mastermind or the members of the police are below the average IQ. Despite ALL the evidence I had that cracks this case wide open I couldn't find a single officer that had the sense of justice to investigate, dig deeper or look through all my proof. I have now become homeless as a result of the incompetence of the officers who took my father seriously enough to act on his malicious lies. And I know for a fact my father is now sitting at home with his smug grin and patting himself on the back for being so clever enough to pull off such a deranged stunt that successfully allowed him to evade all charges and continue being the bully who has never faced a single consequence in his life for his actions or ever been held accountable for any of the domestic violence I endured in his sadistic hands. Shame on the police and shame on the Domestic Violence Unit for victim blaming me and punishing me for being the victim of abuse.

(This happened last year) My brother has harassed me for drug money for over 2 months, he verbally abused me when he see me in the streets and he harassed me in every shape or form, physically or through the internet and private calls. I called 000 and they told me to call the Dandenong police station because I used to live in dandenong back then, so I tried calling the Dandenong station, after nearly 40 mins calling them a female officer finally picked up. I proceeded to explain to her about the reason of my call and my brother’s verbal abuse and harassment which sometimes took place when my children were around (6 and 9), but she seemed very uninterested and rude. After I finished explaining everything she told me she will call me back in 15 mins. I waited for 25 mins and there was no call, so I called the Dandenong police station again, soon after this time a male officer picked up the phone, I asked if I could speak with the female officer I spoke before, and he told me she finished her shift and has gone home 20 mins ago. I asked him if he’s following up my report about my brothers abuse and he told me he doesn’t know anything about such report, so I proceeded to explain to him about my brother’s verbal abuse and harassments in public in front of my scared children, then the officer interrupted me and rudely asked me why am I telling him these things, to which I replied I needed police assistance to stop him from verbally abusing and harrassing me in public and that it’s embarrassing and not an ideal environment around my children. He just said it is a family issue and not his business, as I tried to tell him that my children are scared to come out shopping with me because if my brother, the officer just hanged up the phone on me!!! I went to the Dandenong police station the day after, and they were so unhelpful and rude. At the end I was forced to move out of Dandenong and now I live in a suburb close to Ringwood where my brother can’t find me. Shame on every Dandenong police officers and also shame on their parents too for failing to teach them responsibility and duty. Absolute shame on their parents for failing them.

The friendliest of Victoria Police. They are setting an example that they are approachable/shows respect towards member of public and always there in a time of need. To the police officer sitting in highway patrol driver seat at 4 pm on the 22nd Oct in the front of the police station. I walked towards his car to ask a question and he just kept on nodding. (Saying No). He thought I was coming towards him to certify my documents. He didn't want to talk to me, didn't want to put the window down. I had to ask him to lower his window and before I could ask him anything, he said " I am not signing anything for you!" This is the level to courtesy and respect you show towards the member of public. I wasn’t even going to get my documents certified. What’s the point of you sitting and doing your job when you do not want to be engaged to public? Your hesitance to speak to the public is appalling. Just be nice and you’ll get respect in return. DO you understand you are there to help the public? Don’t think you are better than anyone else. I had only come to ask you a question but your assumption and hesitance to talk to me makes me angry! Get a job where you don’t need to speak to people.

I am on a work visa in Australia and I saw a car gum tree as I liked the car I gave a deposit to Reza R Bayani from Dandenong, melbounre. I found this cheater on Facebook market and gum tree. This man is a cheater, don't buy anything from him. he didn't give my money and car. He cheated me. I reported against him but the Victorian police didn't help me, I wasted my so many days in the Craigieburn and Dandenong police station. I am not satisfied and quite disappointed as I was thinking its a developed country and they will help in this situation. My experience was not good with Victorian police. In Dandenong police station the officer was talking to me in starting as I was telling him about the situation, then he just went outside and wears a jacket so that I will not be able to read his name and tell about an officer in future to anyone. How clever they are

I have reported child abuse in the school and given evidence photos conversations of a cult school on Cranbourne to no avail! I’m a teacher been ringing for weeks never answer their phones. Had a smart Alec police officer extremely rude and condenscenfy in regards to the child abuse from principal down haven’t looked at photos converse or even the fifteen thousand word report ? Wow that’s amazingly bad policing how dare you be so rude? Put your manners back if you had any? The abuse of these school children continues cause you didn’t take it seriously! Victims are coming forward and you police who are meant to listen act and uphold the law what a joke!?

I caught a theft who is our neighbour’s kid(14y). I told the police to come and arrest him. However, polices did nothing until I call 000 to get them here. Interestingly, evidence (my wallet) is in front of polices, kid is in front of the polices, they didn’t do anything. This family probably are recidivists. They have so many people’s credit cards when they confessed his son is a theft and showed me a pile of cards. Their address is 33 fifth avenue, Dandenong, Vic I am not living here anymore. Be careful your neighbour and install cameras.

I have spent a lot of time in there and am very impressed with the work they do under very difficult circumstances. Most of the complaints I have witnessed people make to them are ridiculous and must be very difficult for the police to handle as they are often run off their feet. But the kindness and patience from the officers that I have seen is commendable. Most people complaining on here can't even spell or form sentences so any members reading their comments should take them with a grain of salt. Keep up the good work crew!

Its shame to call them police , they are bunch of lazy arses sitting there and feeding on public taxpay, the white dude with moutache at front is so damn aggresive and rude it makes you wonder how he got into public service in first place, if you are victim of crime i suggest you stay away from this place otherwise you will be more harressed by them , And the recent news is vic police have been faking breath testing , and there chief was posting racist comments online , they are a disgrace

Arrested me at Maccas... ...for being dirty and black and because I was driving my boss's new Mercedes Benz as I was getting dinner for work... Would not bail me and said I had weapons because there were work tools in the car, so I was placed on remand... Left the car unlocked on the side of the road as I was taken back to the station... Because I went to work that day, these dogs changed my life... They will not assist in any law matters... Would you like to know more??...

I wish I could give you a 0 rating because this police department is ready to file anything without any evidence and in my case they converted victim into respondent and make me suffer and also there are no justice for men in this country , these people mistreated me and now I’m suffering from anxiety attacks, depression, chronic pain , suicide tendencies, high medication dosage, and the last but not least a nightmare the way this department treat me.

If these officers catch people travelling 300 metres in 13 seconds for speeding then it’s no wonder we have a poor regard for the Dandenong police.Keep catching drivers as we are an easy target. Who is watching the police ? Don’t steal the police hate competition. Catching drivers for speeding where there were two signs with different zones within 300 metres is a new low.

  • Natalie Oviss

Went in to file for an intervention order but apparently police don't do ivo for verbal disputes I mean seriously. And the police didn't even contact me to tell me that so here's me waiting to find out if the person in my house is gunna get kicked out and I find out that they are doing nothing about it. Never going to the police for help ever again!

  • sneha patel

This Police Station is a joke. I have called the Police station numerous times to report an assault and I am met with a dial tone or the phone just ringing through every time I have rung. And I have rung at different times and days because I need to report this. I will have to go in now. Lets see how that goes...

Victorian Police are acting as the private army of Dan Andrews. It is a pity the Victorian Police hide all information regarding investigations into the ALP Red Shirts Corruption, and the I Cook Foods Scandal. Top Level Corruption starting at the top of Government all the way to Police Command.

  • Amalie

This police station seems to be seriously understaffed or something. Whenever I try to call, it’s rare to actually get through. Pretty concerning... people really need to be able to contact their local police in non-emergency situations. At Dandenong station, this isn’t easy to do.

  • Jacqueline “Jacqui” Gibbs

I'm a little bias about the dandy jacks! I think they are a necessary force needed in Dandenong! During my days working with the youth, I have had opportunities to test the constraints and comfortability factors of their cars and the testing of the updates of their technology.

  • Lana Blizzard

The officers here are rude, dishonest and very unhelpful. They don’t deserve the positions they are in. It is obvious the culture in this station needs a lot of work. For people who are supposed to protect and serve, they treat people as if

  • Honza Coufal

Many people waiting such a long time, till they realize whole police station full of cops really have just one (!!!) person to take care of everybody. No communication whatsoever. We gave up after an hour of waiting. Unbelievable.

  • Maria

Someone broke into my car and took all my documents. Cops asked me to drive to dandenong police station with a broken window. All details I provided were typed wrong. I got impression they wanted to brush me off more than help.

  • Nur Kamalia Abdullah

I found little girl wandering around barefoot this morning. I would like to thank you to Officer Matt and Ellen for their fast response and help me locating her parents ❤️ keep up the good work. God bless you …

  • P P

I actually think there must be staffing issues here or the phones are just ignored completely. Called and stayed on hold while it kept ringing for a good 45 minutes without hearing anything back. Very annoying.

  • TArun ANAND

To get 1 Document attested ..... Wasted 2 Hours waiting... Later been told- they have no time for this now, wait for 1 more hour. How does that work? Others time also valuable. I wish I could give 0 star.

  • Shaq Au

I have spoken to an officer about an incident and got shocked by his extremely rude behaviour. I couldn’t believe it completely gobsmacked. There must be a proper compliant system to rectify this issue.

  • Agnieszka Madej

Thank you to the police officer I spoke to on the phone. They resolved the matter so quickly and efficiently for my mum. Thank goodness we have such great people in blue. Thank you

  • Bryan Xu

Waited for over 45 mins on hold and none of these guys bothered to pick up the call.. is this what our tax dollars pay for? Useless people in uniform

  • Dulana Wijeratne

Every single time I come here it's always empty, not a single officer in the reception. The worst service and the worst station in Victoria

  • Brandon Bell

Has space for improvement but better than all the local police stations. I live in Narre Warren but always visit this station for my work.

  • Marc Kamo

Rude Indian cop chatting and laughing in Punjabi with Indian taxi driver completely ignored the line of people in waiting.

  • G Y

Was alright I guess, and the cops were decently respectful as I was to them, but one literally shoved me for NO REASON.

  • CHAR

the worst police station ever. rudely chased us out frm the station. all we want was just to make a police report

  • Robert Sands

Go the police. Bunch of useless personnel “working” who can’t be bothered coming out to do some actual work.

  • Cheeky Z

Useless. 2 years later. Useless still. We have been waiting for almost 20 mins and no reception there.

  • Everyday

  • Michael Hancock

Went there, was unmanned, an officer walked in and ignored me. Had to go to a different station.

  • Kendrick Banks

Had 2 people in front of me, took an hour to actually talk to someone. It was a Thursday at 4pm.

  • David Eames

Not very good at receiving calls, live events or keeping the community safe. Thumbs down …

  • GTFAN 99

The maximum penalty for incitement is a fine as per Monica Smits arrest. Please release Topher.
