If I ever need help in the future, I will not be relying on the officers at Narre Warren Police Station to step in. I wasn't happy with the way a security guard pushed me outside the door of a local bar. I reported this to a nearby police officer and instead they decided to kick me to the ground and put me in handcuffs assuming I was just another drunk. I was cut and bruised all over. Was I fighting them? Was I being violent or refusing to leave the premises? Was I armed? Was I on drugs? Do I have a history of violence or even physically able to hit anyone. No, no and no. I learnt a few lessons from that night: Police officers are able to get away with so much and there is nobody you can consult about it. They even ripped down my pants and underwear to see if I was hiding drugs. Again, this was irrelevant and another thing to entertain themselves by. Anyone reading this could say that it all sounds way too derranged on my behalf, which I don't blame you. The only evidence I hold with me are photos of the injuries on my body including the bruise on my head where they slammed it to the ground, and perhaps cctv. I have since been seeing a psychiatrist and on medication because I feel so scared to go to bars at night even with friends. There is nobody to report this too.

I attended this station on 21/10/2016 to report an assault and corruption crimes committed against me by police officers from Cheltenham station. The police officer who took my statement did not give me a copy of my report on the day, so I sent an email to his police account email asking for a copy of my statement. My email was rejected with an auto reply message saying it could not be delivered. Victoria police is a disgrace, and if this trend continues (police investigating police), it means rogue and corrupted police officers can get away with murder. In my case, police got away with assault, home invasion and stealing all my belongings including our passports and all legal documents and removing me from my house without a court order. I still don't have any of my belongings back to this day because of the failure of the present system to hold police accountable for their actions. Shame on you.

I went this afternoon to get a document signed, i stood around waiting for almost 20 minutes in a warm confined area whilst more people lining up, finally someone decided to man the front desk. What was disappointing is the way they were speaking to people who were lining up to be seen, they were arrogant and abrupt; I’m wondering why. I know this message will change nothing but thought to mention it, hoping for someone who can make changes sees it. By the way, there was no Justice of Peace available even though the web site indicates someone is there on Mondays between 5pm and 7pm Ps, I wasn't treated badly but felt bad for the ones who were treated in a disrespectful way

Last night I called NWPD to ask the police for help. The officer asked me for the details. I explained it to him. Then he said, this doesn't warrant a criminal complaint. I disagreed and asked to speak to his supervisor. "Why?" Because I didn't agree with his assessment. He refused. I asked to speak with his supervisor. He hung up the phone. I see why they have such poor reviews. NWPD, if you are reading this, get your lawyers ready, because I am getting mine. I am going to sue you for your incompetence, negligence, and lack of minimal standard of care. I promise, I am going to ensure NO ONE experiences what you put me through.

Rudest service I got from and old Lady that service me, we walked in at 10 am on Friday morning to get some documents to get veritify, and maybe because we disturbed her from reading her news paper, that cause her to be so grumpy and rude, she was not at all helpful, I never write review but she gave me above all the worst experiences in customer service, I thought they were all about helping the community. Instead of just letting me know nicely what I’ve had missing in my document she whinge about it I have never felt so disturbed to be in there. Never again would I go there.

I thought police where here to help last night our house was vandalised as we where sitting in side watching a movie 5 large rocks thrown through our window nearly missing my wife not just the rocks but large pieces off glass when she called all they did was ask for pictures even our insurance said they should have attended this is the second time there have been issues in the street this is why people are taken matters into there own hands thanks again Narre Warren police maybe your to busy collecting revenue from speeding drivers

Very helpful and considerate.. I went to sign an Identification declaration for my daughter for her passport as I couldn’t find an eligible person who knew her long enough as she was just 6 months old.. I went there having half a mind thinking whether I will be able to get this done or not. the officer who served me was very understanding and kind enough to carefully read the entire document taking his time to find out wheather he can help me with it. And I was finally able to get it done without anymore running around..

Disappointed with the response from the Narre Warren Police station. I reported a treat to my life this morning going for my walk Tolmie rise In Hallam. A man approched me from behind treathened to kill me several time held me under duress questioned me told me not to enter his court. Man walking his dog saved me from getting beaten up and put me behind him. Reported it to the local police station cant do anything as there was no physical assult. My intention was to warn them for other people walking in that area.

Good on you all at Narre Warren Police station for your conscientiousness, consideration of Melbourne residents/citizens, helpfulness and all round respect for people. It's encouraging knowing that not all police are arrogant, rude and disrespectful to those of us who are the reason why you even have careers! For the rest of Victoria Police, you need to take pointers and learn a few things from Narre Warren's dedicated staff. ✌

I've tried several times to get a welfare check done on my daughter who's being withheld by the mother who is a manipulative ice user. She is breaching federal court orders. The police ring her and take her word as gospel so they don't send a unit out there to actually sight my child to ensure that she is actually safe. A serious fail of duty of care. Will be reporting to the police integrity unit.

Can I give zero stars?! The worst police service I’ve ever seen. I’ve been there twice in recent months, and the reception desk is always unattended. People always need to wait there for hours to be brushed off rudely. Arrogant, inefficient, unprofessional, unfriendly and unhelpful. Totally waste of taxpayers’ money! Come on who do you think you are?!

  • Uri Zerqelezski

Under Resourced I have always found them to be very helpful, friendly and considerate, YES there are times they don't attend but I don't blame them, I blame our useless Dan Andrews, he's Ok to put money into his own pocket but not give the money to those who protect us. Well done Narre Warren Police, job always done well with what you've been given.

So when your daughters life gets threatened and the school has to call the police on the the person threatening to come to our home and stab my daughter and the police officer tells me they are too busy?!?! I literally have death threats In writing and a 15 year old girl who is petrified and your too busy so sorry but what is your job?

  • Nate Brown

A few years ago this station was horrible, full of dead wood that was rude, never answered the counter and didn't want to touch your report with a 10 foot pole..... BUT this has slowly changed with the new members here there is care, respect and the counter wait has decreased! Well done!

  • Good ol JR

The few times I have had to come here I've had to wait a long time just for someone to come to the service desk. When I have asked a simple question, the officer @ the desk spoke down to me and looked at me like I was dumb. Not a great community service. …

  • Yoshi Yoshida

The police are useless I put in a report even told him there’s a camera can see the incident nothing have been done or follow up after many weeks. Mean while each time I call in each police officer don’t really want to help out and said my report never exist.

  • dhaliwal061978

It’s says on the Narre warren police station website that 24/7 reception. Unfortunately no one at reception from 17.40 to 18.30 at all. Sorry don’t know if some one turned up later, god knows. Looks likes Victoria police is short staff too… Good luck.

  • Edmund Lee

I had good conversation with the officer about car accident and bullying issues. He gave good advices and offered me his email for further enquiries. It was a pleasant visit. Thanks for his time and his help.

  • Brooklyn Ludowyk

Why isn't there ever anyone at the front desk? There's not even a bell to ring for service! I've been here twice now and have had to wait up to 40 minutes just to hand in documents or file a report!!

  • Fruits of Mother Nature Melbourne

So rude called up to report a missing vehicle and they were so blunt good to know that our tax payers money is going to a service that serves and upholds …

  • peter smith
