Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I don't even know where to start!!! My sister got some shoes yesterday but only realized that the other pair was missing in the box. We went back today to let them know but the lady named Bahar insisted that she gave my sister both pairs. She didn't even want to give us the missing pair and insisted that she herself checked and handed my sister's both pairs. We asked if she could check their storage room to see if it's there. They then grabbed the floor display and kept it away from us. How can Bahar made us feel that we stole and hid the other pair without listening to the facts first?!?!? She may have initially served my sister but gave the task to the gentleman to get the box for her at the storage. I asked Bahar the name of the gentleman who served my sister as she wasn't the one serving her and was told point blank what for and asked us if we still want to other pair or not?!?! She gave us the other pair sitting on the floor display. Does your staff make threats now? FYI, a gentleman went to the storage room to grab the shoes, went straight to the counter where my sister was waiting and packed it straight inside David Jones paper bag without showing the contents inside first nor my sister asking to as she trusted the staff. David Jones, please check your CCTV and we would appreciate it if Bahar can personally apologize to us. The way how she made us feel and how she accused us is very hurtful. Please check your stock level. If the level is zero but the other pair was still on display then she has falsely accused us of Stealing.

I really find this store intriguing due to the wide variety of brands and items im able to buy whereas in Myer they do not have some of the niche products that im after such as the Parfums de marly fragrance. These guys stock their products more frequently and which is why id go with David Jones. Furthermore, i found the staff very helpful, i was for a tracksuit to buy and they helped me find the correct sizing. The customer service is amazing. I would highly recommend the David jones in Chadstone. Then again it would ultimately depend on what you are after!. I've bought majority of my fragrances from David Jones, they are authentic and you are paying for what you get. I would rather pay a few extra dollars to ensure that they are real. The sales person also helped me choose a suitable fragrance. As you see i have a few fragrances, i have visited this store multiple times and each visit i was amazed.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible !!! The worst Customer service I have experienced in Australia. I’m a loyal customer for David Jones in Sydney, the service I have received in the past 20 years was lovely in Sydney. But this experience in Melbourne Chadstone store was a nightmare. The manager on the top floor name “Bella” was so horrible. She is very rude and super mean. She refuses to help us when we try to purchasing the goods. She told us even we have money we can not buy from David Jones. And we can not try the display goods in the shop ??? She is trying to turn down people who want to shop in David Jones. And she told us that she is the floor manager? She dresses like a security? I’m so confused. Why David Jones’s manager try to turn people away from purchasing in their shop ??? I end up buying the same goods in Myer instead…..

I was disgusted by the incompetent and inexperienced security team who thought they were in a 3rd world country they way they treated me. Clearly still waiting for Dj to apologise and to dismiss such 3rd world trained ppl who have no respect for people. Just because I had my coat worn over my shoulders - you people will wish I ever spend a cent at your store after spending so much money at DJ CBD and when I moved to the SE suburbia I wanted to replace everything on my new house thinking I will shop at DJ Chadstone but was shocked to see that their security girl was following me and causing a scene to herself. Shame on you for treating ppl like criminals especially a lawyer.

The Ultimate Shopping Experience .I had the pleasure of visiting david jones (chadstone )Melbourne store recently, to buy some makeup products and I must say it was one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had.I had a lovely experience with this store assistant called Alexandria. Alexandria went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for, and suggest which products good on my skin.Not only was she knowledgeable and attentive, but she also listen all my skin concerns.Thanks to Alexandria ,our shopping experience was not only enjoyable but memorable as well. I would highly recommend David jones to anyone looking for exceptional service and expertise.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Peter Chapman in the luggage department for his 5 star customer service, both over the phone & in person. I was looking for a particular item and Peter was extremely helpful & friendly on the phone confirming what I needed was in stock & he offered to put it aside for me. When I went in to the store to purchase the item the next day I was greeted by a happy, professional & friendly Peter again. Peter was an absolute delight to deal with, he sets the bar very high for all customer service employees. Thank you Peter for your wonderful customer service, I truly appreciated it. David Jones are very lucky to have you on their team.

I came in today to try on some foundation and concealer at Lancôme and the first staff that I asked help from just pointed to a counter and said go and find it there. Then after cluelessly looking for a shade another Lancôme staff recommended me products and shade matched me to products that they do not stock anymore. I found this out as my friend went afterwards to purchase these as a gift for however they said they do not stock them, and the shades and products they recommended me that same afternoon was wasn’t correct. Worst service, I should’ve stuck to a different brand instead of trying this poor excuse of a brand.

Much like Myer Chadstone, the store is also conveniently located, but the same issue of locating certain products is difficult here too. Brands do not display all their available purchasables, and thus you must resort to seeking out staff who can find the item in storage or elsewhere. However, the staff are friendly and try their best to assist you with your needs. It is essential to browse through their online catalogue to know which items are available at this particular branch, and also realise that they have many more items available, the vast majority of which you won't see in-store on display.

I went to the store to return some shoes and as soon as she opened the box she accused me of having worn them outside when I didn't. She wouldn't even listen to me, I was shocked by this false accusation, actually holding back tears. Admittedly they had some dust on them but that could be easily removed by the swipe of a paper towel, you can't expect them to be in perfect condition with so many people trying them on in store. I literally went to another store and they were refunded in less than 5 minutes. Do yourself a favour and don't shop here, I won't be sad if they close down.

I always receive the best high quality customer service at David Jones no matter how dress-down I am. The fragrance department’s service was flawless!! I’m still super happy with my Parfums De Marly Delina Exclusif fragrance. I usually get all my niche perfumes from Libertine Parfumerie but when I want to purchase fragrances in store; David Jones would be the place to receive the best customer service!! Thank you very much to the sales rep who served me on the 27 jan or 26 jan. I can’t remember the exact date. Hopefully they can stock more niche brands

2-3 weeks ago, we went to David Jones to buy the toy for our daughter. It happened that the manager of toy department was there and heard our complaint to the other staff. He came and had conversations with us. He was very patient and considering. We left our phone number, and he said he will give us a ring tomorrow (Mon). We didn't really keep our hope high. We received the call from David Jones on Monday and solved our issue. We happily went and bought the toy! We are very appreciated the service we received from him!

cant try the fragrances in peace without a security guard following you and eying you off like your going to steal something. the whole time I was there I was constantly being followed making me feel really uncomfortable which made me want to leave the store. I then tried coming back about 40 minutes later only to have the same issue as soon as I walked anywhere near the fragrance section. If your trying to make people feel welcome let me say your doing a horrible job at it. definitely wont be coming back anytime soon.

David Jones is a fantastic store with a wide variety of products. The Michael Kors section had an incredibly helpful lady who went out of her way to assist me in finding the perfect gift. She even did a wonderful job with the gift packaging. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism were impressive, making my shopping experience truly delightful. I went in to MAC around 2pm today. The two staff members (dumb and dumber) were sitting down doing each others makeup. They refused to acknowledge me or get up to help at all. I was taken a back at the lack of customer service. A young lady came over and helped me from one of the other areas I purchased $200 plus worth of makeup, she was very helpful. In saying that can I suggest you provide a refresher course to the other two ladies on customer service!

Horrible customer service at the beauty & bags corner, 1 star is a requirement so can’t help it. The manager I met this evening & her subordinate will keep declining to provide the simplest resolutions and keep talking down their policy and have zero knowledge about the payment methods and their complications a user may have to face, setting up trouble, and not very respectful.

My favourite one stop shop. Sometimes I don't even make it out of here and into the rest of gorgeous Chadstone. Loving my Reiss dress (great sale!) AND my Witchery leather jacket. I will be back DJ--love your work! Oh, and I also bought new lipstick from YSL, Tom Ford, Sisely and Guerlain (I am embracing a bolder lip colour this Spring).

Not just another DJs. Bigger than everywhere else and great range. Seems a lot of brand names that have individual stores in chad, share same stock room as when didn't have jacket in my size at one store they looked up if DJs had it. Might go there first next time and if see something / brand I like, will note to check the individual store later.

I have just been at David Jones Chadstone for over 1/2 hour to buy a perfume. I left Malvern Central yesterday as I could get any service. It’s incredible disappointing that one of our major retailers doesn’t want to sell products. Wow….. I’m incredibly frustrated! Don’t waste your time going to DJ’s they don’t deserve customers

A very easy store to get into especially when you ride a motorcycle and park at the front door. Having its own entrance so you don't even have to go into the centre is great. I was expecting better sales for after-Christmas sales and unfortunately their is not enough staff around to help you or want to purchase something.

Went to the store today, and wanted to purchase a bag for 600$ , we waited for 45mins for assistance and once we paid for everything the lady forgot to put our dust bag with our purchase. Ideally Located inside Chadstone Shopping Centre's High end Brand Stores, David Jones offers a broad variety of quality brand goods, that range from Fashion to Homeware . The ambience is welcoming, well lit, nicely decorated and arranged merchandise. Service is very friendly and helpful.. A great place to come to.

David Jones' one of the biggest stores in Australia. Chaddy the fashion capital has a separate entrance for David Jones. There are plenty of selections to choose from. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly.
