Ordered for click and collect and they said on the website that I can collect withing 24 hours FROM THE TIME OF ORDER. 24 hours have passed and I did not receive any notifications so I called the store where I set my pick up location and asked if my order was ready and they said yes so I drove down there to pick it up straight after work. It turns out the parcel is not there and my order hasn't actually gone through to their system. I had to go home empty handed and wasted my time (which I was actually trying to save when I ordered online). I had to chase customer service the next day and asked to place my order. I called the Richmond branch to confirm if it has gone through and they said it has but the pick up is WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THEM RECEIVING IT AND NOT OF ME ORDERING IT. Plus the first staff I spoke over the phone was rude and does not have manners. Although, shout out to that manager who tried her best to help me out when I was at the store. She is an angel. I am just so disappointed by the online service they have! Kmart is a big brand and they should be on top of their services as customers expect that from them. If I had known the hassle Kmart will give me, I would have ordered somewhere from E-bay, they would have given me better service than Kmart does. What a shame!!!!!!!!!! They don't even deserve 1 star.

Kmart at Richmond has staff issues. They are not helpful and rude most of the time. But this particular time was about Roblox gift cards, there were 3 Roblox gift cards and two had an invalid Code which somehow they have not been activated properly by the store as she has a rude face the whole time at service. No receipt was given. We went back to get the receipt and then emailed Roblox multiple times doesn't get the answer as to who is responsible when gift cards are not able to redeem. Kmart refuses the exchange or store Credit. My advice is Do Not buy Kmart-Roblox gift cards if you don't want to experience an invalid Code. Roblox is a US company and when contacted via email will not be responded as expected customer service should. When call to the US customer service number- No one will answer as it will ask you to leave your voice mail. Also, the manager at the back counter kmart Richmond came out to speak to me and said the Roblox gift card is not protected under Consumer protection. I will contact consumer affairs for furture enquiry. You would assume that business is being done in Kmart Australia all products should be protected under consumer affairs but the store manager said No. I have never heard.

The size of the store is OK & when it's open its not a bad place to shop but the service for click & collect is very average. I found the Melbourne CBD store had reasonably faster service. Today I went in to pick up 2 click & collect orders & both orders were coming up as "order not found" even though they were both paid for & I got my 2 confirmation e-mails to confirm the order was completed & paid for. The so-called "manager" named Matt said that my receipt means nothing because he can't see it in his computer. It's not the customer's fault if they or their computers make an error. They then give me 2 phone numbers to try to call which I might add have a heap of recorded rubbish & extremely long wait times designed to try to force the customer to abandon the call. This is absolutely disgraceful service & I definitely won't be shopping at Kmart or at any other shops the parent company owns. The Kmart Melbourne CBD store is very big & there is no option on the website to collect orders from that store either. I was absolutely shocked & disgusted by the lack of service at this place. I put a video of it online, check it out.

All electrical merchants which are branded itself are useless and not worth buying. Once, electrocuted, second barely usable and mostly low quality. It has the return policy which doesn’t work well as it is depending on the store manager at the time you want to return. I bought from this store and I went back with the electronic proof of purchase. I have been told by the manager at that time that I cannot return. He doesn’t accept the electronic proof version. Hence, I called contact centre at HQ, I have been told to try another store manager. Once this manager is off duty, try to return with different person. I expected KMART to be more professional and have better system in place. The manager didn’t even ask us what happened to this item and why we wanted to return. He only said I can give just the store credit, I’m not going to refund this. We made a complaint that the merchant item was horrible and we wish not to buy or visit back Kmart. It doesn’t help HQ recommended again, try different KMART location.

Bad Service. Kmart has great products but the staff here are rude and unfriendly. Asked an employee to help me find something listed on the website as "in stock". He claimed that it probably hadn't been unpacked and would be too hard to find. When he refused to look I asked to speak to a manager and he pointed me in the directon of the service desk. When asked the same question, the girl at the counter threw her head back and sighed loudly. She then went and got the same guy i originally asked to go out the back and get it, at which point he launched into a full blown argument with me. I felt pretty upset and uncomfortable. I had made a special trip to Richmond to get only that 1 item. If not unpacked, it should not be listed as "in stock" or at least staff could be nicer given I had done nothing wrong! The products at Kmart are great, but due to service would be hesitant to come back.

One star for Claudio’s customer service, I asked for help while he was walking through the store instead of stopping and listening he said I’m in the middle of something follow me ( he wasn’t even helping other customers ) Once I got hold of him all I wanted to know was if the duvet in the bag was the right size that was indicated on it as it was open and I had previously read that there is no exchange for this item so I wanted to get it right I wasn’t even bothered about the price I just wanted to make sure it was the right size , he immediately gave me a mouthful of your override /damaged/refund policy assuming I wanted the duvet for less or free because the bag was open. Dear Claudio learn to listen when you deal with customers .I went ahead and bought the duvet and a beautiful lady Vijay was a delight to deal with , so helpful and great sense of humour .

I ordered shoes on September 10th and went to pick them up. But the shoes were so big that I applied for a refund and visited again on the 13th for a refund. I gave the shoes to the staff and I asked her when i would get the refund back and she said it would take about five business days. But i had to leave Melbourne soon. And I didn't get my money back so I called. They asked me to have a refund receipt. What do you want me to do? I didn't get any receipts. I texted with the customer service team and I had to explain again. They told me that I just have to wait five days, but I haven't gotten my money back yet. I was very disappointed with Kmart's customer service and service. The worst mart where you didn't give me a receipt or return money.

Drove down for 20 minutes to get a cake stand advertised on the website, i got their staff to check stock from the Footscray branch, system was showing 10 at Richmond, Devlin who i think was the manager helped us, it was a few minutes before shutting down, he brushed us off in a rude manner, basically wanting us out of there so they could start closing the store, we simply wanted for someone to check stock so we could buy this item, he wasn’t concerned, didnt care, was blunt and we could see he just wanted to go home, it would have taken a couple minutes max to try to help us properly and the store still hadnt closed yet. I love Kmart but not the people like this that work there.

The CLICK AND COLLECT system you have at Richmond is a joke and has been for 2 months now. Minimum 35 calls to the Mobile number (that says hang and and try again) once you park in one of the 5 designated bays then someone flustered will answer your call. You then wait 20 mins for them to bring your items to the car one bay at a time. I reluctantly order something Lunch time Friday and I’m still waiting Sunday for the sms to say that my order is ready. I can’t see them perfecting this system before lockdown is over and they are obviously not willing to increase the staff needed to make this a smooth system, so don’t bother.

This branch is located inside a shopping center - Victoria Gardens, instead of a standalone store. Great prices and options, though some common items weren't in stock. Parking can be free if you're only doing a short visit (less than an hour from time of car park entry). There seems to be more staff here than the CBD store, but could be extras hired as it was close to XMAS shopping period when visited, and they were plenty helpful! Feels clean and tidy, easy to locate price check machines and most of them were working. Most items were located in intuitive isles. Easy to use self check out machines.

“My car” Victoria Gardens. My daughter desperately needed 2 new tyres as they had been slashed We booked online and had a booking today. Rick was very friendly, professional and helpful and provided her with a great deal. After an hour, we returned and Rick had fitted the two new tyres to the front and rotated and balanced all four. He even gave my daughter some very handy tips regarding maintenance and change tyres etc and physically secured the jack and spare in the boot. The tyres even came with 12 month guarantee and puncture replacement. An all round fabulous experience, thank you Rick.

Don't expect to be able to relax and enjoy shopping here from 11.15pm onwards. I've been shopping late at least 6 times here and the young staff are so rude! From just after 11 they jump on the PA every 5 minutes and announce they close at midnight and to make your way to the registers - or tell everyone Burwood is open 24/7! I appreciate they don't want stragglers after close and want to go home but the constant reminders is anxiety provoking! None of the staff would be over 25 and they all huddle in their group and gossip acting very entitled. Very off putting!

I ordered storage containers since I needed them to move in early October. Due to lockdown the containers ended up being delivered a month later, which I completely understand. However I returned the containers on 8/11/21 once things opened up and have still not received a refund. The store is now saying they don’t have a record of the transaction and have repeatedly asked them to look at the cameras as the storage containers are very big and I needed a trolley in order to return them. Still trying to sort it out and the store also doesn’t answer their phone!

Entered the store to immediately be followed by a man mid 20s. The man continued to follow me as I went between aisles and eventually confronted me over a pair of gloves I had picked up and asked whether I was going to pay for them. I was made to feel as if I wasn’t allowed to shop in this store and was still followed after around after this interaction. Regardless of this terrible interaction this store has limited stock all over and no service was offered to assist me in finding what I was looking for. Do not shop here

Just bought a Wok from Kmart Richmond this afternoon, and when I got home I realized that the Wok is out of shape, which was covered by the plastic package. I came to the Kmart Richmond from CBD today, and they swapped a new one. I asked whether I could get one for free, coz it was not my fault and coming from CBD also was a waste of my time. If Kmart has the policy and the policy is fair, then that’s okay, but the manager is soooo rude and cold. I hope Kmart Richmond can improve their training. So bad experience

Well, I bought a blender, which arrived 5 days later. I was so excited, but when I opened the blender was totally broken. I had to book online to go to Richmond , i was expecting to get a new one from the Kmart, But the lady who works there asked me to give the blender back and instead to give me a new one. Also, I have to wait for more 5 days to get the refund then buy a new one..... Seriously ? I am really disappoint, you guys should learning more about treat customers. What a bad service.

I came here to purchase a new pair of leather boots for my job (I'm a vice-assistant online retail manager) and I was kindly lead by a short woman with huge glasses to the male shoe section which had a astoundingly girthy selection. I even picked up a new pair of light blue and black sports socks. They were especially needed after my horse-faced ex-wife took them all (and the children) in the divorce. Thanks again Kmart. I'll come here whenever my need for socks grows once again.

A good place to buy household stuff. The place has electronics to clothes to kids items. The prices are cheap and the quality of most items are not that great. This place is good if you are staring out here in melbourne and need buy some cheap stuff to get started. Otherwise for quality goods I don't recommend this place. Has ample parking aswell. The staff is friendly sometimes and if the store is not that crowded and busy they will help you out with what you are looking.

Shout out to the BEST customer service lady named Connie at registers. She should be commended for her compassion, caring, attentive customer service. She helped me with scanning, as I have hand operation last week, I could only use one hand. Connie helped me without even prompting...Kind people like her is very rare and she is just amazing thank you for your assistance, it's made a difference in my life during a difficult situation.

Appauling behavior from one staff member. He constantly scremed 1.5 meters over and over when asking for my ID, while I maintained a fair 2m distance. Respect to all the Frontline workers in these difficult times, but this guy needs to relax a bit and not be screaming at customers in an empty shopping centre. Very rude and obnoxious. Otherwise that, phone staff were lovely and my order was ready for collection within 2 hours.

A go-to place for low priced clothes, accessories, toys, bed linen, cushion, pillows, and a number of other household items. The quality of the items is not very great, but at the prices quoted it is worth the buy. They have a large variety in children's toys and casual wear clothes. Returning items is easy. Staff is polite, but sometimes they are not sure of the location of some items if asked for directions.

Huge queues to use the checkouts with only two manned when I visited. Shoppers are extremely slow on the self serves which isn't surprising given how inconvenient they are to use with any large items. Lack of clear signs telling you where the service desk is for click and collect (back left corner) Lot of empty shelves in the home area with both units of the garbage bin I was after having broken lids.

Not the best service. Bought a bike and had it brought out to me, a girl brought me a trolley then left and I was on my own to lift it onto the trolley. When I got the the checkout, a young dude was not really paying too much attention to what he was doing and lucky I’m honest cause he nearly charged me $33 for a $150 bike, helmet and bike lock! Hire people who have better customer service skills.

Customer service is typically hard to find and majority of the staff I've encountered have been hostile, however if you go on the right day there are a few gems. Some products are useless, and I don't recommend the makeup as it has little to no pigment. However, it's very good for home decor, kids toys and cheap clothing however most of the time it's left to you to navigate your way around.

It a such a good experience at Kmart. There are good set of team members on floor and are very helpful. It was a click and collect order for my Sister and Danny at the service desk made it such a good and smooth experience. There was a long line, but he served with a smile. Large store apart of the shopping centre. Extensive selection of clothing, toiletries,homewares, toys and tech. Reasonable prices and generally have a bargain or two with their clearance items. Lots of parking available in the shopping centres main car park but it does cost to park. Entry of the store is close to the carparking. Store is open late most nights until midnight.

Was just served by Alicia & Malcolm. My click and collect order wasn't ready but it was sort of an emergency as I needed to install security cameras tonight due to a break in the previous. Alicia was very friendly and polite, she did ask her manager Malcolm if there was a solution possible and he went the extra mile to help me out. 5 stars, thanks again guys.

Have all my luggage with me because I was from my flight and came to kmart to buy literally just some sandals, was in and out not even 5 minutes, guy at the entrance wanted me to open all my luggage just for him to check, told him i had a bad knee and it's hard to do it there (no place to actually open a big luggage). Great Kmart, big store with lots of selections. Sometimes it seems to be low on stock and always appears to be understaffed so it takes quite a while to go through the check out. Self serve checkouts are probably the worst I have experienced as they are always faulting and needing the 1 staff member to attend before you can pay up and leave.

Rang before going to make an enquiry but Kmart staff hung up without saying bye or any type of greeting. Once attended besides the door security at the door there are no staff in site to assist. Delivers on what it's made for! Bit of a cult following KMART in the last few years and it's easy to see why Products are trendy but not over priced! The stores are generally run down and a bit tacky but that's what you pay for! Over all the service is quick and friendly and their is always an abundance of product availability

They charge a fee for click and collect! They also should advertise they close by 4.45pm on Sunday. Don't allow customers into store. (It may be earlier. The attendant seemed to have been stationed at the front). Only wanted to pick up 1 item so, no great loss to Kmart. However, several other shoppers wanted to do the same.

Ordered to click and collect an item. On arrival I called up have my order number. I then spent over an hour waiting in the car park to receive the item. The attendants then double checked my order number and I had to wait another 15 minutes. This is really poor service, I should have got the item from another vendor.

We went there to buy some "industrial style" pieces of small furniture after reading many rave review in the press. Totally disappointed. It seems that in this store, no one is not only concerned to present a good product in a favorable light, but at least to restore order in the furniture isle. There is a real mess.

Great Kmart as usual. Staff and friendly and helpful. Though some items aren’t stocked together so you may have to walk around to check availability. Their terminals aren’t “friendly” with giftcards. Always spend about 10-15mins just at the checkout to complete payment. Definitely room for improvement on that front.

Went there after 8pm, quite, carpark so empty, not many people in side the shop, with all the line up, we just walk through, fell easier shop around if have idea what's looking for. But door shut at 9, so be mind for it. Give to 4 star, because too many shelf empty, we couldn't find what we looking for.

I don't know why you have a phone number when none of your staff can pick it up. Every department just let's the phones ring out. Terrible customer service.

This place has a vast collection of home products. Never knew anything other than IKEA earlier. But this is cheaper and better. Huge variety to shop from and easy on the pocket. My first choice for anything going forward. A must try! I bought a shoe rack that fits the exact measurements of my wall.

The manager lacks customer service experience. He is extremely rude, went to return a faulty product within 14 days and he started arguing about how I used it and he can’t refund it. Definitely lodging complaints about him. Kmart needs to train their employees more about the customer service.

Always a disappointing lack of stock. I made a trip mostly to pick up some pet products, online it says in stock but they're not on the shelves. Woman's clothing basics are always sold out of the mid sizes. Today they had no shopping baskets. I asked why and they said they just didn't.

I think that this store isn’t easy to get to unless you have a car, but that isn’t their fault. The store is big and fully stocked and because most people go to other KMarts I find this one has more of the stock I want. Staff is lovely as well which is always a plus in my book.

Dog section is good but regularly items are out of stock especially dog beds. Only a few large options to choose from. Dog cage had a medium option only, no large. Underwear - never a 10DD in stock in any variety. Visited 4 times and always zero options available for the size.

There needs to be someone working the check out area at all times. When the self checkout beeps at you to get assistance what are we supposed to do? Also, when you don't have someone working a register you can't scan bulky items without needing assistance. Very frustrating.

Nothing on stock even though it says there is 4 left on the website and someone who they calls manager(!), she have no idea what’s happening around. She blamed me to I didn’t call them to confirm if they REALLY have the product on stock. Just drove 2 hours for nothing!!

First off there is no in store directory, l am not sure how you find anything apart from just walking up and down the aisles. I was after a smart watch and there was no availability on display or in stock. Luckily l found a team member to help, not many of them either.

I’ve been to this Kmart a few times, it’s the one near the IKEA. quite a big store, seem to be neat and tidy and staff are available if needed. I’m pretty sure you have to pay for parking, unless you buy something from IKEA. It would be good if Kmart offered the same.

Like most of their stores they focus on cheap and cheerful products. I don't find too much reason to go there now their product line is smaller. At the moment plenty of empty shelves due to order cutbacks as they didn't anticipate demand correctly during the pandemic.

Have always loved Kmart since childhood. Offers different types of goods, necessities and clothing at a very reasonable price. Brands are mid to low tier but they definitely give you a sense of comfort. Prefer Kmart over Woolies but too bad CBD doesn't have Kmart.

Four seperate staff members I encountered today in store were rude and dismissive.Please be kinder to customers and assist us even if your in a hurry,stressed or overworked. I love KMart but today’s experience wasn’t pleasant.

Visiting Kmart is always fun. I was visiting this side of the town in a while. Stopping at Kmart was an absolute delight. I did find quite a few things that are usually not in my local area Kmart, so grabbed the unique bits.

The entry gate is small, but the place is prominent, and you can easily buy whatever you want, but I couldn't find the storage box lids were missing and some were broken, may be out of stock but the staff was so polite.

Felt cramped. Not much spacing between aisles and stock was untidy. Felt uninviting and staff were not too friendly or helpful. We did ask speak with a number of staff and it was a customer who helpful to us in the end

If there's a budget constraint and you need a good buy, this is the place. I normally visited Target but after this visit, I'm never going back there. Kmart is wonderful, found what I was looking for within my budget.

Terrible customer service and bad manager who name Tyler! Not train to do their job! Shopped at Kmart for more than 20yrs, never been to so so bad Kmart before!!! Worst than any 3rd world country street market!

It's a large supermarket with good bargains for household items for the kitchens, tools, AV & mobile phones accessories,, fishing tackles, travelling, camping, clothes, footwear, bags, bicycles & toys.

Unable to return a product due to no foaming in the packaging. And it was the manager's decision. Product was unstable and dangerous to use. Going to call Kmart head office hopefully getting some help

This is probably my favourite KMART location. Well set out and they always have such a generous range of cotton clothing to choose from. From the door greeter to the floor staff, always helpful

Overall a great experience especially this guy named Cornelius but my only complaint is the manager. Tyler seems to have a very grumpy demeanor and it overall ruins the experience

Staff are helpful and wonderful. Most shelves are empty though, I guess 2 years in lockdown, people need to remodel their houses and wardrobes!
