Not in sync with the store… I ordered online and requested curve side pick up… I pulled up, called the nombre on the email they sent me with the instructions to pick up… disconnected… searched the stores normal number online to call instead… a lady answered and I explained that I was in spot 3 to pick up my online order, her immediate response was “are you trying to do curve side?, because I’m here by myself and I have no way to go out there right now, you have to come inside”… I figured everybody is short, it makes sense right?… so I go inside… a few employees are on the main floor, some of them taking care of the customers some others just waiting on their booths for somebody to come buy something… I asked one of the available ones where do I go to pick up online orders?; she said downstairs to the right… great no problem… I only we one lady on that floor that looked like a customer, not so much of a buyer but she was there… I finally arrived to the office (called executive office) and noticed, not one but THREE employees in there one sitting down, one expecting clients and one that was walking out… ok, cool… I get my order and left… now there was NOBODY on the floor nor clients in the office… I go to my car, and decided I think I should call the customer service number on the email they sent me, since they are obviously doing things right with their employees as they DO have staff and no sales… So I called customer service, waited 15 mins just to get someone to answer my call…"

My trip was horrifying because of the old witch on the 3rd floor closest to the elevator. We went to get my daughter a homecoming dress, found one she was interested in on the second floor, then decided to go upstairs on the off chance the women's section had a hidden gem. When we stepped off the elevator we were accosted by an aggressively insistent sales woman who ran over to us from across the store and snatched the dress out of my husband's hand. I told her we were absolutely NOT going to buy it yet because we weren't finished. She CONTINUED to ring it up, then looked reluctant to void the purchase. After dragging us through dresses we were telling her we weren't interested in, I was too angry to deal with her reasonably and walked away. That was when she forced my less assertive husband and daughter to buy the dress behind my back. AFTER I TOLD HER BLUNTLY NOT TO SEVERAL TIMES. The assistant manager, of course, apologized for this and looked horrified herself. The other employees were fantastic, but it only took that one to ruin it. My daughter's first homecoming experienced has been destroyed. She tried on two dresses. TWO. DRESSES. I tried to get her to look at one, but she was only interested in escaping the store. We kept the dress because it was still needed, but we are NOT happy or satisfied. I know full well that woman only did this because my husband is black. "You look just like Patrick Mahomes" (my husband doesn't remotely resemble him except their skin color) She didn't remotely treat the white fathers like this because I was blessed with the gift of sight and could see the painfully obvious difference. She allowed them to carry their daughter's dresses (more than 1) to a dressing room. Escorted them there, in fact, then left them to race herself right on back to us. Thank you for providing the absolute worst experience of my daughter's life. She was far too excited and happy, I'm do glad that was brutally torn away from her by a stranger your store made the conscious decision to hire. I'm also grateful to be charged $75 for a reminder of how awful people can be. Again, the rest of the employees were amazing and helpful, but that didn't save my daughter's experience.

I want to start this out by saying I never leave bad reviews but this had my blood boiling. I went in this Dillard's yesterday to get a new purse and wallet since mine were getting completely worn out. The second we got in there, we were asked by an older lady if we needed anything in particular and we politely said no we are just looking around. I was asked by 3 other people the same question, which i worked in retail so i understand that's customer service and they are required to do that. Everyone else was nice except for the older lady. I had picked up a wallet from Dooney and Bourke because it was the only style i liked and i wanted to use it for reference. As i'm looking around to find something similar, the older lady continuously told us the price was inside the wallets/purses. I politely said okay and carried on with what i was doing (multiple times). As i picked a Calvin Klein purse, i had my husband hold it for me while i was looking for a wallet to match. She then came up to us AGAIN and said that the purse was not a marked down item and it was full price. This was the third time she mentioned price to my husband and I. Had i asked, that would have been fine. It honestly felt like she thought we didn't have money or enough money to get what i was wanting. At this point, i was getting super frustrated and was not enjoying myself anymore. I was being hovered by someone i'm assuming thought i was going to shop lift because i looked to young to have money like that. As i went to check out, i was hoping someone else would be checking us out but unfortunately it was her. She rang me up, gave me my total, i paid with no issue and as she was handing me my purse she said, "Enjoy your little purse." in the worst way possible. I used to love this Dillard's and i have never had an issue before now. I really hope this was just an off day but by the looks of the recent reviews.. i don't think it was. and BTW i bought the wallet i wanted on the Calvin Klein website. :*

Normally I have good experiences here. However, last night was terrible. The associate was just plain rude. Told me to hurry up and pay or I wont be purchasing any of the items I had.1 of my cards had problems that day at several stores, however each store including an earlier purchase inside dillards but different location, they told me to insert my card 3 times then swipe it. It actually worked there, tjmaxx and a couple other stores doing that. So after leaving the mens dept and purchasing things there, (with same thing happening, the Male associate told me to insert card 3 times then swipe on the 4th try) and it worked, I went to the women dept. Where i purchased over 500 dollars worth of clothing. But I did not want to use the dillards card. I wanted to use my citi card bc i get 2% back for free for using the card. Anyway, i told her that I'd been having issues with my card all day and including there in dillards earlier, and what i was told to do... she took a deep breather and acted as if i was totally wasting her time. She even went as far as saying this only happens when a card is stolen. I had my I'd and she never asked for it, but yet making accusations like that. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I was forced to use the dillards card which I didnt want to. I needed her to let me try again or go get the Male associate or ring it up in Male dept, or something, anything... other than treat me that way. I dont shop there all the time but when I do it's big purchases. I am very unhappy about this and bc of it in will actually be returning most of my stuff that I dont feel I truly need.

I am not typically one to leave reviews for department stores; however, after having the worst customer service experience, I deemed it necessary to say something. I went to the Zona Rosa Dillard’s to purchase myself a new Louis Vuitton bag, a very big purchase and something I have been wanting to treat myself with for a while. However, after spending nearly $1500 on a new purse and taking it home, my husband noticed a huge scratch on the bag. In shock, I drove immediately bag to the Dillard’s and spoke to the same check out lady, a woman by the name of Cindy. I explained the situation to her even though she still recognized me due to my thick foreign accent. She told me regardless of when the purchase occurred, all purchases are final, which I know not be true based off their website. After going back and forth with her a while I decided to try a different location. Therefore, I drove to the Independence Dillard’s, nearly 30 minutes away from my home, to exchange for a different, untarnished bag. Without any hesitation or quarrel, the lady at the checkout instantly gave me my full refund on the purse. I am now faced with the confusion as to why I encountered two completely different situations and why Cindy from the Zona Rosa location was so difficult to interact with. In any case, I hope the management or customer service department for this location reevaluate how they train their employees to deal with these type of situations better.

we noticed we were getting suspicious looks from the employee from the moment we walked in. i tried something on here and walked out of the changing room over to my girlfriend who was maybe 10 feet away so i could ask her how they look and if i should buy them. the lady working at the cash register accused me of trying to steal them even after i explained that i was just asking how they look on me. she also said that she had already called security on us. later i found out that the lady yelled at my sister to get away from the changing room because it was for men only (even thought it's unmarked and there's no other changing room for women) and security had been following around my sister and my girlfriend. up until then we hadn't even done anything but walk around and look at clothes so i have no idea why security was called on us. so at that point i just hung up the clothes i had picked out and left. don't plan on coming back here anytime soon after how we were treated by the rude employee.

I just had went in to return some boots that my parents bought me which were paid for in cash so I was expecting cash back being I needed that amount for other items. went in some woman in the fragrance department with purple hair didnt even bother to try to go and return it the way the back of the receipt said . She then told me I can only receive it as a gift card I didn’t wanna fight so I said OK . I spent the gift card which is around $150 just to find out once I read the back of the receipt that I could’ve got that original amount returned to me in cash as it was paid for originally. I called and spoke to someone and they reassured me that’s what needed to happen in the first place. overall very annoyed & spent an extra amount of time at the department store than I wanted to and still would’ve preferred the money for other items I needed. Only good thing was a small Hispanic woman who helped me in the jewelry section. she was very nice and very kind

Store was nicely displayed. Hard to find the MAC counter that I specifically had a return for. The lead MAC salesperson working was condescending and rude. I had thought about making an additional purchase will in the store and with someone to ask questions of, but didn't feel I should pay for the privilege of that person's time and further negative attitude. I have never had such a negative experience at a Dillard's cosmetic counter. The other staff was friendly and helpful. I have never had such a horrible experience with MAC. If my previous experiences with MAC hadn't been so positive I was going to return the item and not exchange it as I hoped just because no one deserves that kind of treatment by anyone. I hope that salesperson was just having an off day, but wow I am not in any hurry to go back to visit her counter.

Here visiting from Bakersfield, Ca. I saw my mother today at a skilled nursing facility in North Kansas City. I decided to stop at Dillard's in Zona Rosa. Looking for some shoes, I noticed three sales clerks in the shoe depart while in the store. I thought 1 out of 3 would have asked me if I needed assistance. So I waited for 20 mins, still no service. Finally, I asked for a store manager Jeff Russell. The only thing he did was apologize. Can you imagine how this makes me feel? Dillards at ZR!!!! like I wasn't good enough to ask if I needed service. Being a VIP credit card holder!!!. I will being emailing corporate about this matter. Dillard's in Zona Rosa you missed a $425.00 sale!!! Thank you Overland Park Dillards for you hospitality!!!!!! Your service was on point!!!!!

I will admit that I've never been a big fan of Dillard's, but this location has continually left me disappointed and upset. Knowing the expectations of the company placed on the employees, I would expect more assistance and a cleaner sales floor. My most recent visit found us looking for very nice dresses for my wife and two daughters. We were never helped and then the store closed early. We were told the entire mall was closing, so upon returning to our car we called the mall and were told that they were not closing and that we should make our frustrations of the situation known to the store. Not only will we now be finding a different store to purchase the needed dresses, but this store has lost out on a reasonably large sale.

I love Dillards as a store, but this was my first time using their curbside pick-up. First in the email itself it asks you to call an Arkansas number for curbside which was different, but I did as directed. It went directly to voicemail. I then called Dillards Zona Rosa number directly. The first time I was disconnected. The second time I was instantly put on hold and continued to be replaced on hold (as I heard someone pick-up 3 times) for 10 minutes. Then finally spoke to someone who was able to provide me my curbside item. I would encourage better telephone skills…like asking if we mind holding, I also would recommend putting the number to call on the curbside signs instead of us having to google the number while waiting.

I wouldn't recommend coming here. The last two times I went, someone acted like they thought I was going to steal something?! First time was my mother and I looking for a dress for my Daughter's wedding. Second time was my husband & our son looking for matching shirts for Christmas pictures. Not to sound like an a** but I wanted to pull out my husband's wallet and be like, here's what you made in the last year, BYE!! Just because people are wearing fancy clothes, doesn't mean they're thiefs. All of this wouldn't have bothered me so bad if the entire time I was there, anyone ever asked if I needed help or even a "Hey, how are ya"... first interaction BOTH times was RUDE... I won't be going back again.

Some of the workers there are a little rude. But other then that it’s great. I love their clothes. There clothings are cute and fashionable. But it is a little expensive. But I still go there. And I love that you can sign up for there spring fashion show. Oh and I love chips~my brother Bye loserssse. Purchased two button up shirts and a tie. Upon purchasing them I asked if we could still return them. I was told that as long as it was within the return period with tags and receipt it would fine. Went to make the return and was told that they could only return one shirt because the tie and other top “looked worn and had an odor” even though we are smoke free and they were tied up in the bag after trying them on. They also said since we had taken the tags off they could no longer sell them. Needless to say Dillards needs to get all of their employees on the same page as far as the return policy and learn some basic decency on top of that! :)

Don't shop at Dillard's. Many employees are comissioned, so you may get bombarded. Or, nobody will acknowledge you the whole time you're there. It's all the way in the back of Zona Rosa in a detached building, and they do have seperate parking. Dillard's is considered the worst retail store in the country to work for. (Google it) They've had issues ranging from EEOC to Cyber theft to racial profiling. Employees are not held under the protection of certain government regulations as it's privately owned. I wouldn't work there, and I won't shop there either. Plenty of places to get the same products.

I purchased 5 colognes and the lady there was treating me like I was about to steal em and I asked for samples and she said she couldn’t give me any so I asked do any of the colognes I purchased come with any gift she said no no no do u want em…jus rude and she asked me if I’m using a credit card I have to show ID I didn’t have no problem with it but she was jus racially profiling thts jus last time I come to this store….never experienced so much disrespect before STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE FOREIGN OR AFRICAN AMERICAN

The place is very well cleaned, but- the staff/service is the absolute worst. Absolutely horrid. I came in to return a box of shoes from my kid, I asked the lady if we can return them. She said no and I repeatedly asked her why. She pointed out that they’re was a TINY spec on the shoe. Which was very unnoticeable. She gave me so much attitude, and was so rude as well as other staffs. The next day I tried returning it again and they let me without any problems. Such a disappointment hire better staff please.

Had originally given Dillard’s three stars.. ha! Not! Employees are incredibly rude! There’s no structure! No communication! I literally just spent over $250 today, 9/29/18, and had the worst experience! I will NOT be shopping here again. I’m surprised the place is still open. Especially since another woman and her husband were having issues with an employee in the men’s department. Get your life together Dillard’s! You need leadership, discipline, and respect in your place of work. It’s severely lacking.

Memory is the most caring and professional representative at this Dillards. All the staff is exceptional however. I was helped a month or so ago by Memory and I meant to share my experience then. I was again reminded of how awesome Memory was as I witnessed her go over and beyond for another customer as I was waiting in line. I’ve always had great customer service at this Dillards in Zona Rosa. I just wanted to give her a shout out so she knows her efforts are appreciated. Oh and give that Lady a raise.

Heather in the men’s department is exceptionally amazing. She first helped me a year ago with finding a great suit for an event, where she was enthusiastic, intelligent with her recommendations, and was so genuine that I left in a better mood. As I finished holiday shopping one year later (now), she helped me check out my items. She immediately remembered me and the conversations we had a year prior. She shows true kindness and compassion, and is a great employee that I am happy to return to.

Just left, didn’t even make the purchase I wanted to. I had gone in to purchase cologne. None of the bottles were out on the counter to sample and I asked the woman with black hair if it was because they were shutting down. She replied “they are always under the counter” then turned away without offering assistance. I continued to stand there and finally left after never being helped. Dillard’s usually has such an excellent reputation for assistance but this chick was terrible.

I went to this location with a friend to return a bra she had bought but did not fit, they told her that she could not return it even though she had the tags and the receipt in the bad with the item and she had only tried it on once in there store. The entire time we were there the lady that was helping us was giving me some not so nice looks. We had called another location to see if we could return it there and they said that it would be no problem to return it the way it is.

I really like Dillard's. They have quality goods and decent sales/discount sections. My friend and I did have an iffy experience with the ladies who checked us out. (We look much younger than we are, especially in casual summer clothes, and we had to stand in front of the for a bit before they would check us out. They just kept chatting for a bit while we were standing there waiting to check us out. It just didn't feel like they were taking us seriously as customers. )

I love the store and the prices are not terrible. You get a good quality product here which is why you will pay more for it. But here is my complaint. I make enough money to shop here but I cant stand the snobby workers that work here. Tip: Just because you work in a higher quality store does not mean you should look down your nose at your cash spending clients, no matter what they look like they can afford. I will be buying my wife's Louis bag somewhere else, thanks!

Nice selection of items and brands, though the sale signs are very small and easy to miss. The biggest issue arises when you actually decide to buy something. Cash registers are hard to find, and very few actually have employees anywhere near them. In my case, I circled the store twice, bypassing the one cashier I did see (who was sharing her life story with the one customer she was assisting) to finally hand over my money in the shoe department (I didn't buy shoes).

Purchased several hundred dollars of merchandise....only to go to the young women's section and after I made a purchase I saw something else I wants to try on when I went to reach for my bag with purchased clothing the woman pulled her hand back with MY BAG and said how about I hold onto this while you go back in the dressing room....NO give me my bag! ....it was truly insulting and not to mention akward....someone needs training in customer service skills!!!!

I had to return a dress after restrictions were lifted from Covid19 because the wedding was postponed for a year. The employee at the dress dept.. Nice is her name... and she is really nice too so it fits her well. She remembered me trying on all the dresses as I had had surgery and couldn’t zip them up myself. She was so patient and helping. Dillard’s is lucky to have her. Always a polite smile from all employees there ... I will shop there more often...

I had an excellent shopping experience at Dillard’s both online and in-store. I finally found the perfect dress for the wedding but it was just a little bit big so I ordered it in a size smaller to compare. When I went to the store to return the larger size I couldn’t find anyone working in the ladies department and I looked for about 5 minutes. (This is my reason for only giving 4 stars.) So I went downstairs to customer service and they were lovely.

I kept telling my dad, hey can you get me and Mom some perfume like you got us last year for Christmas? He said he didn't know what I was talking about, because Mom was the one who picked them out and wrapped them from him... Lol so we decided to go shop for Christmas gifts for ourselves, from him.. I found mines ! Fun day. I love how this perfume looks, so cute and little different ones. But can't use them till I unwrap it on Christmas ❄️

Furious when my sister and I were trying to find a dress for a wedding, signs everywhere saying 40% off ALL junior dresses and she tells me they weren't on sale. I said there are pink signs all over in the dress section that say ALL junior dresses on sale. All she had to say was sorry the dresses on sale have a pink tag. Went over and looked and saw no pink tags on ANY dress. Spent hours wasting my time on false advertisement.

Some of the staff could benefit from customer service training and you guys should have extended your sale into 1/2. It was a dangerous ice/snow storm on 1/1 and alot of people were afraid to drive during that storm. Since you would like for people to spend money you should show you value peoples lives. A staff member rudely told me the sale was on 1/1 when I made a comment on the sale prices for today.

Dillard's is my favorite store. They have all my favorite brands, like Antonio Melani and Elleen Fisher. The lady from the Juoniors department helped me the first time I ever walked into Dillard's. She showed me the cosmetic department, the fragances, and the ladies department. Her smile was warming and I will be back there for my holiday shopping for my whole family. I give this place two thumbs up!

I found everything I needed. Including my mac make-up. But finding staff that isn't selling perfume is simply not going to happen. So if you already know where everything is and you don't mind the sales pitch from the perfume girl when paying, this is your place. But if that doesn't sound like your kinda fun I'd look to another store. They are not cutting you any breaks in the price area.

The handbag staff are always friendly and not pushy. I appreciate how everything is neat and tidy, even clearance racks. I was disappointed none of the perfume was out so I could sample it, and it was one of the reasons I went there today. There was also no associate back there. I will choose another department store to buy perfume next time as I need to sample it before I purchase it.

Wonderful shopping experience and I can’t thank the Dillards team enough. I called inquiring about jean dresses and the young lady helped me from end to end and then walked me down to shoes and made sure I received the same help. I’ve shopped here multiple times and I have always received wonderful help smiles and true professionalism, so thank you so much Dillards Zona Rosa!

Went to go return a bra because i didn't like how it felt. And they told me they couldn't return it due to sanitary reasons and the tags weren't on it. But the tags recipient and bra were all in the bag. And they let me try it on in the dressing room. Along with other ones. Which the reason I wanted to return it is because of the fact that I grabbed the wrong one that day.

I have shopped here a few times for jeans and a winter coat. My last experience was a bit disturbing.....I was looking at purchasing some jeans and was asked by almost every employee if I needed help with anything. I overheard a manager say I looked 'suspect'.....whatever that means. I wasn't there long, bought my jeans and got out. I was profiled for some reason.

There was a lady at the accessories section who was very rude when my sister was inquiring about a sun glasses she was directed us to go else where while the glasses we wanted to buy were in the glass case. More like the type of glasses we wanted in the case are for a particular group of people and apparently we didn't look like we qualified to buy such glasses.

Absolutely amazing. I bought my prom dress here just today. I am a plus sized girl, so finding actual prom-like dresses in my size is hard, but I found SEVERAL with ease and the lady who helped me was so amazing! Despite being busy she did her absolute best to help me. I wish I could remember her name, but I do definitely recommend here for prom dresses

So this Dillards was once touted as the largest in the country but is now a sad monument to everything wrong with department stores. Overpriced. Hard to find someone to help you. The makeup section while updated still can not keep in step with Sephora or ULTA. The 1st of year sale is sort of worth but in general buy online and save yourself the hassle.

More people should shop here. Being in this store brings me back to shopping at Metro North. I do wish they had better sales, but it's still not terrible. I prefer to buy quality items and not have to replace clothes and shoes as frequently as discount stores. This store is clean and comfortable and dressing rooms are spacious. Restrooms are clean.

About the last place you can go if you want to remember what its like having someone whos a retail associate look down on you back in the eighties... as if you cant afford to shop there...just kidding, It's great. Plus i think that most high end retail store associates finally realized they're the poor ones and Tommy Hilfiger always sucked.. LoL

Recently found out the Reba Collection was going out of some Dillards locations. It's up and going strong at this location. Overall this store doesn't have as good of prices as some of the other locations can have, but usually not overly crowded and you can get in and out fairly quickly. Pleasant staff, but not overly friendly. Clean store.

I went to this location because they have a good selection of ladies dresses. I was lucky to meet Jackie. She is an exceptional salesperson with amazing customer service. She made great suggestions and went out of her way to give me options for wedding attire. I also had a great experience with the young lady in the shoe department.

We had a really fun time shopping here. Their sale weekends and holiday sales make the experience even better. The associates working in the lingerie department are very nice and helpful. We ended up getting a lot more pieces. ..as they were so attentive and assisted us in finding additional sizes and coordinating pieces!

Me and my girlfriend weny in there to find a coat. This older lady followed us and kept her eye on us the whole time. When we found a coat she immediately told us that we had to check it at a desk even though we had more shopping. It felt like she was treating us like shoplifters and making sure we didnt steal anything.

Huge selection of Homecoming dresses! Successful shopping for 3 girls in one trip. 4 stars because the attendants were not friendly, the line for dressing room was an hour long, they didn’t offer for us to use a didn’t dressing room in the store. The women’s department did very kindly let us use their dressing room.

We went homecoming dress shopping here for my daughter. The dresses were well laid out and the employees were friendly and kind, even though they were swamped. The dressing rooms were clean and I was amazed at how often the discarded dresses were put back on the racks over the time that we were there. Great job!

Had a phone interview in which I disclosed I was pregnant (still got a ways to go before my due date). I was told “oh I don’t think this job is for you since your pregnant” like really?? I know plenty of pregnant women who work retail during pregnancy. I just feeling like I was discriminated for being pregnant

Love this Dillards the set up is perfectly done. Friendly staff helped me with all my holiday shopping needs. Gift wrapping in customer service was super convenient. $6 bucks per item was reasonable for quality of wrapping from staff. I've shopped here many times and it continues to be my favorite. We were shopping for several specific items (including liquor carafes) and the sales staff was so very, very helpful!! Offered to call other stores and in one case even recommended a non-Dillard store for an item they did not stock. Not at all stuffy (although a very classy store) like the old Dillards.

Unfortunately the mens Apparel department never answered. I called 4 times to get transferred over to and the line kept getting disconnected or i kept getting hung up on once the operater transferred me over. After the transfer i waited on hold for 10 minutes each time I called. So they lost a customer.

This is a very nice store. I was looking for Birkenstocks for my wife. They did not have the color I wanted and the salesperson seemed somewhat less than interested in helping me. I went home and ordered what I needed online. It is not hard to understand why online shopping is increasing.

Stopped in to shop and the only good thing was Luvi in shoes. Walked around on 1st in men's shopping and got no help or was we asked did we need any help. There was 8 or more employees working. Went back to Luvi to pay for items gotten in men's Department. Thanks Luvi for great CS.

Yes this is a very nice store have a great shoe department that's what I went to look for and these shoes are very good and I got me two very good deals and they also carry my selection of bras which are wacoal and I got me one of those two good shopping experience

A very nice store. It’s a little frustrating because if your in cosmetics and perfume it’s difficult to find staff. The shoes and clothing department is awesome, never cluttered and the staff is friendly. The location is a little ways out from the rest of the mall.

Dillard's is arguably one of the best fashion house in America. Never a low quality clothing or colognes. Added is reasonable return policy, but I never have the reason for returns. Neat and secured environment for shopping.
