Shocking experience with Sister Govender at Dischem La Lucia. Extremely long queue 2 hours wait. Sister stuffed the wad deeply up my right nostril and then the SAME wad was stuffed up my left nostril. I have had many PCR tests which have been painless. This time the sister really hurt me. She registered me on the system then said "here you are positive" and showed me a small device with a pink line. I was mortified and shocked and asked her what I should do. She said go home and isolate for 7 days. She marched me to a till point to pay for vitamin C and the test and marched away. Cold, no empathy or care. She could have been more gentle with me. I went straight to Pathcare with my husband and had another test. I was treated like a human being. Hubby and I waited for 5 minutes in our car , 1 of my nostrils was swabbed as well as Hubby's. We paid and left and my test came back positive and Hubby's negative. I've always shopped at Dischem and the staff have been amazing and helpful. Your nursing sister should be severely reprimanded. If she doesn't enjoy her job she should just leave. She had no right to take her frustrations out on the customer

Ok, this is going to be a long writeup... The Dischem La Lucia store is always a delight when it comes to customer service but this review is particularly for the pharmacy staff and the health lifestyle staff... first off, I'd already walked in with the start of a migraine and the staff member who helped me at the otc counter was kind enough to open the meds and offer me a quick solution even before I could get to the teller to pay. As for the staff in the health lifestyle isle who (admittedly) I seem to bother for assistance on most visits there, he is always helpful and advises on alternates and makes suggestions. Professionally, I'm in an industry where the business motto is "service with a smile", so without any doubt I can say.... yes I am impressed. Thank you for overwhelming service. I should've mentioned this directly to the staff referred to above but I'll be certain to do so next time... THANK YOU FOR GOOD SERVICE AS THIS HAS BECOME A RARITY TODAY.

Worst customer services ever. I went to get some eucerin products and there was no stock available of the product that I wanted and the customer service agent was really rude to me. After advising her that the product which she offered me was not for my age group, she insisted that is a replacement of the product I wanted and she stated that it has nothing to do with age . As a dissatisfied customer, I decided to leave the store. She could have tried to offer me a product which is suitable for my age group but she kept on insisting on that product. Which left me as a customer feeling really upset.

As we walked into the cosmetics aisle in Dischem La Lucia today the one visible staff that was charge of of sales support in the makeup aisle walked off to stand behind a skincare counter that had no customers in the 20 minutes that we spent in that aisle. During this period there were more than a few customers shopping and wanting to test products in this aisle and with no support from any of the sales consultant that stood behind the skin care counters that had no customers in sight. We were fully visible to all those sales consultant behind those counters.

Store advertises promotional items and does not have any in stock. The only one available was a damaged item which was stuck with cellophane tape! This should not even be on the shelf. A staff member was of zero help and had no answers. This is not the first time that Dischem has had no stock of advertised items. An update to Dischem not having stock... Was told that they are out of covid vaccines on 17 August 2021. Tried to call to get more info but was given the usual transfer/ hold / disconnect.

Sunday 29 May 2022 at around 2pm I was busy looking for vitamins I decided to look at something new when I was approached by the lady / assistant who offered help she showed me one that was out of my budget R260 I was reading the bottle she stood by me didn't leave me I went to the next aisle she followed me stood next to me watching I was very uncomfortable. I made my way out leaving everything behind & just walked out. Y can't we be left to shop freely

I bought a fragrance as a gift and the spray top broke and went back to the fragrance department to ask for help. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, within minutes they replaced the spray top, ensured it was working, gave me care tips and honestly made my day. A big thank you to Nokubonga, Natasha and Grant for going the extra mile and making my day! I can't to shop at Dis-Chem Pharmacy La Lucia Mall soon!

Registered for vaccination and was directed to the Dis-Chem Phamramcy Geln Lucia. This notification was received on Sunday, after the week of turmoil, so there was no reason to suspect that this would not happen. After setting aside time and getting to the Pharmacy, we were told that this was no longer happening. Well some form of communications would have been great. Thank heavens for Clicks!!

I was on hold for 30 mins waiting for my call to be answered absolutely pathetic as for the customer care service rep Jesus help that girl treat people right ✅ they talk alot of lies my phone number was taken down and I am still waiting for a call shame bad image for a big brand il go shop at clicks maybe they will appreciate my 5k a month.

It seems someone who calls me from the call centre to confirm my script for my prescription meds having a problem un understanding or does Dischem La Lucia has a eye sight problem in seen the notes from the customer care agent. Poor service always forgetting a medication will definitely be going back to Discovery Medexpress service.

9th Jan 2023. For the SECOND time, i have been dispensed SYNDOL, when i clearly requested THE CHEAPEST SYNDOL GENERIC! I only realised when i got home, both times, because when dispensed, it is put into a plastic bag, only to be seen when one gets home?! SO IRRITATING! Please listen carefully Dischem staff!!!!!

Amazing pharmacy with lots of variety. Shelves are fully stocked and always seem to have what you need or at least an alternative. Staff are amazing and friendly. They check on you while on the floor, and take you to the shelf for what you need. Great service and variety.

Absolutely pathetic service by the 2 ladies at the clinic reception...rude and unhelpful when I went for my 3rd vaccine. Very dismissive behaviour...Dischem needs to train some of their staff regarding customer service. The 2 sisters issuing the vaccine were so pleasant.

The dispensing pharmacy staff are very pleasant and helpful, but as for the tellers they are not very pleasant and could be trained in customer service as for the staff that pack the shelves they have been very rude on the occasions we have been there.

Most disappointed. Meds meant to be delivered today are now being delivered tomorrow . Most inconvenient. We are both pensioners and have got our meds there for many years. I had to phone dispensary to find out what had happened to my meds.

This dischem is rated our best performing dischem when it comes to Peels Honey...walking into this store I see reason as to why,staff are friendly...the floor space of shopping is AMA ZING.... I see regular customers, Loyalty is rare....

Well stocked up store. But the service from the people who works in that store is pathetic. Definitely staff is not trained in customer service. Especially the cashier's in front. No smile, greetings nothing. Absolute rubbish

Huge thank you to the pharmacy staff at dischem who were fast on the track when I went into hyper glycemia today whilst collecting my meds. Thank you for your help and going the extra mile. You saved my life!

It cost us R750 to administer a 10 week standard inoculation / vaccine (which is free elsewhere) and to check babys weight... Room didn't have a bed so you put baby on a hard counter... Ouch!

Took up R10 air time to answer and call and question on if they have a specific item in store. The call ended before they could give an answer. Like really. No customer call back ?

LA Lucia mall's dischem is the most spacious compare to the other malls...staff are always hands on when it comes to assistance,prefer going here over any other branch.

Unbelievable staff, great service. Very quick checkout. Clicks... you should visit one of their branches. Your staff are never available and look unhappy
