TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I had a terrible experience at this office. I went to this office because it was recommended to me. However it took me three visits to get a full physical including a pap smear. When I call to schedule my second visit I asked if they took my new insurance, I was told that they did. I cleared my schedule to go to my appointment. When I get there and I'm about to pay my copay I am told that I have to pay out of my own pocket because the office has issues with my insurance. However, when I called to make the appointment I was never informed of that issue. I am a busy person, like many of you, and I have to take the time to go do this, so I decided to pay out of my own pocket. Before I saw the doctor I asked the staff if there would be any issues at the time. The doctor came in to tell me that she didn't recommend that I move forward with the Pap smear and to come back at a later date. What I was not informed at that point was that I had to pay again. I went ahead and scheduled another appointment and talked to the office manager. She told me that I would have to pay $45 for an office visit when I returned. I didn't have to pay for the pap again. I asked why if nothing was done during this visit, why would I have to pay again? The basic answer was, it is what it is. Because I needed to get this done and i had already invested two visits, I scheduled a third appointment. Today, when I showed up to my appointment, I was told that I had to pay $90, the full price. This is not what I was told, now the office visit was $90, same cost as the full physical said the office manager. What? Does that make any sense to you? Well that is not what she told me the visit. I was upset at this point because now I have to pay out of my own pocket again and I should have been informed that I would have to do that BEFORE coming to the second visit and when I called to verify if the office accepted my new insurance, I should have been told that i would have to pay out of my pocket until the office issues with the insurance were resolved. If i would have known, i could have looked for an alternative doctor. Instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, the office manager became rude and confrontational. She told me I could leave and not be seen if I didn't want to. Like you, and as an attorney who runs her own practice, my time and my health are precious. I took The the time to be there and I needed the service to get done. The staff needs to be trained and informed properly so they can give accurate information to the patients. The office manager is unprofessional and rude. Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of professionalism in this office and I will not be going back .

If I could leave 0 starts I would. I visited this office on 8/8/2020 because I am six months pregnant and developed hives all over my body and did not know what to take. I called in to set an appointment which was at 9:30. When I arrived there I saw they had a covid test station in the back which I was ok with since it was outside. I walked into the office and there is no one at the window so I sat down and waited for about 15 minutes before anyone came. I checked in everything was fine at that point. As I am sitting there, one of the girls who was doing the COVID test comes up to the window with no mask or gloves and is walking around the entire office like that. That was the second red flag. At this point I have been waiting for over an hour to be seen. Finally, at 11:00 I get called to the back to be seen by the Dr. I finally felt some type of relief as they kept walking COVID patients through the main lobby. I get walked back to a room and then have to wait an additional 30 minutes to see Dr. Zamora who is a complete incompetent doctor! He walks in with his assistant doesn't even knowledge me and asks her "who is this?" "who are we seeing?" he then introduces himself and asks why I am there. I explain to him I have hives/rash that seems to be spreading and I don't know what to take other than benadryl. He then tells me its the food that I eat and that I should try to remember what I ate in the last week because I was probably allergic. He didn'd even take a look at my hives and proceed to prescribe me two different medications. I ask if they are safe for pregnancy and his response is "I don't know. you have to ask your OB"... ok so why are you prescribing me something that you are unsure if its safe for my baby or not? He then became defensive and asked me to wait. I waited for an additional 20 minutes until and he never came back. I walked out so disappointing and angry. This is not the place to go. Find another family practice. You will waist your money and time.

I've come three times now and everytime I have a negative experience with the front desk staff. The ladies are rude and patronizing. They will just stare at you as you stand in front of their desk, waiting for assistance. Absolutely zero sense of urgency. They tried to charge me for a physical, which is 100% preventative and at no charge to me through my insurance. They said I came in for the physical and asked to be looked at for a specific reason when I only came in for a physical and blood draw. This office tries to nickle and dime you for everything. I saw Dr. Nava once and he came off chauvinistic and patronizing. Angie is great and very thorough. But after the multiple urine and blood tests I took, no one called me to talk to me about my results. I waited over a week before I had to call them asking about my results, which was explained by one of the front desk girls, not the doctor or NPs. Isn't that a violation of medical ethics and privacy practices? Avoid this doctor if you can. I will be searching for a new doctor.

I had an appt at 7am was 17 min late due to being rear ended didn’t call police to get report so I could make my appt hoping to stil be seen . Just exchange info . Literally got there at 7:17 am explain why I was late reception sd oh well there is a 15window only I sd it’s 2 minutes sd I will see if she can see you it was PA Heather she came back and sd no I had to reschedule but yet we set there and wait 30 minutes to almost an hour previous appt and we don’t say anything about that she was so rude just closed the window on me after I told her no I didn’t want to schedule an appointment I was like that was so rude . Inconsiderate no empathy like come o just got rear ended what was I supposed to do keep going and not get the person info . I difinetly be changing my primary Doctor

Ive been a patient for years. Love his NP Angie, she is awesome. However the office has started going towards the deep end. Your waiting and just waiting while the staff talks and laughs about whatever isn't related to work. Like they just want to bill your insurance for as much time as possible. Plus having them fax anything will take a week or more. Things aren't done in a timely manner. Its a beautiful office though. Dr Nava also isn't a personable type of Dr. Everything is done and said pretty much within one sentence and then he is finished. Unfortunately the way things are going there I just may need to find another PCP, well see.

After they messed up multiple prescriptions and referrals, I called the office and was put on hold. I hung up after 15 min and called back. The receptionist said now I lost my place in line and the wait would be longer. So I went in to the office. I was shocked to see there was not a single person in the lobby and when I got to the window I could see there were 7 lights flashing on the phone. I waited for 5 minutes and watched as the 2 girls did nothing. When I left there were only 3 lights flashing. The receptionists are the worst! I would give zero stars if that were possible.

Thank you Dr. Andrew Nava MD for 16 years as my PCP. As I have grown up as an adult, Dr. Nava has been there through all of my ups and downs. The only reason I have transfered is because of my health complications requiring an Internal Medicine PCP. They have previously worked with Dr. Nava as well so I know I will continue to be in good hands. Dr. Nava also has several highly qualified nurse practitioners. Angie and I go way back. You are in good hands with this office. Have patience and kindness. They will treat you back the way you should be treated.

Very disappointing experience!! Always in a very big hurry except to get you in !! Wants to spend 3 mins with you if your lucky!! While you wait an hour to 2 hours just to see him for 3 mins!! Also is a joke wants to bill your insurance company as much as possible !! I asked why its more and they had no answers and said i got additional services!! I verified it and its not true!! Total scam operation!! Very rude thinks `200$ must not be important to his practice!! Dont go get new DOCTOR!!

I referred my son there and he had to wait over 30 minutes to even be called to the back the staff and dr Nava are uncaring about the whole picture of their patients well being he missed work and couldn’t eat his appointment was at 12:30 he finally got upset and left my husband and I go there we all will be changing doctor dr Angie is great everyone else there is awful

I am proud to say that I have been proud patient of Dr. Andrew Nava for the last 16 years. I recommended my sisters (2), my brothers (2) and my sister in law, and now my mother. My doctor is a top Doc and I am proud of it. I also love Dr. Angie both doctors are patient and efficient. God bless the Nava Family Practice.

Been going here 6 years, it's the best office, very professional, everyone takes their time with you, never rushed. All the physicians are amazing. Great receptionists and phenomenal girls doing blood work, in the office. I can't say enough good things! I drive an hour each way to see this office. Angie is the BEST!

Was at this office for an hour to be told a vague answer to my problem and was seen for 10 mins (including 5 mins waiting in the room). Waiting until 1:10pm for a 12:30pm appointment while the office staff laughed in the back and had no sense of urgency or professionalism. Very rude girls at the front desk.

I was here to re establish my primary doctor so I was referred by a coworker. Dr Nava is an on point doctor who truly does listen and is efficient. I was welcomed by his staff in a well mannered and the office location is central to anywhere in the east Phoenix, Tempe side.

Referral person is horrible about doing her job on Referrals she takes her sweet time ..we wait for ever just to get a Referral .. my mom needed a STAT REFERRAL and it was never done . So they had to cancel my mom's appt to surgeon specialist .Mind you she has cancer...

I have used Dr Nava and his services for several years. Excellent service and he and the staff take time to address all of the patient's concerns. Highly recommend. BTW, on several occasions I needed help ASAP and they worked me in, within 48 hours!

I have great experiences with all the doctors, except with Dr. Nava. He removed a mole and had me bleeding there for several minutes. He left the room, his assistance did not even realize she had to clean my bleeding back.
