Dunelm is a great place for buying homeware items at a reasonable price but I'm not a fan of this particular branch. I've been to this branch a number of times recently and not once have there been any baskets near the doors, instead I've had to find and ask a member of staff to get one for me everytime because there wasn't any to be seen anywhere. The other thing that really bothered me on my last visit was the rudeness shown from one of their staff, Tanya who served me at the till. I walked up to the till and said in a friendly manner to her, "Hello. I'm buying this but I also have an item to return and an order to collect". She responded by huffing at me and rolling her eyes. I didn't appreciate that response at all or being made to feel like I'm being a nuisance. I calmly asked why she was so stressed to which she blamed it on the store being manic. After that she perked up a little and was talkative but all she did was go on to whine about how busy the store has been and then told me of how clumsy she is on the shop floor saying she was moved to bedding as a result of constantly dropping the stock. Not something a customer should really be knowing. ‍♂️ She wasn't aggressive or horrible as such but I just found it incredibly rude and unprofessional. She really needs to work on her customer service skills. I appreciate her day at work may be a busy and stressful one but it's no excuse to take that frustration out on a paying customer. I had one small item to pay for, 1 small item to return and a few items to collect. It wasn't complicated and didn't take long so there was no need to be rude. She didn't at one time apologise. I think I'll try to stick to my usual branch in future.

Went there with a list of things I wanted, but i didn't get any! There were hardly any thread count more than 180 for bedding. And if they had 400 thread count, the depth for the fitted sheet wasn't more than 28cm. The store was properly stocked, so it was a bit disappointing. Also, considering it's the Christmas season, they mainly had neutral colours. Where are the vibrant colours Overall, the store has nice things and they also have a restroom which is very convenient. The staff are helpful as well. They just didn't have anything that I needed for the holidays. I still bought some stuff (that I didn't need) because the truth is, I love shopping at Dunelm. I would still recommend it because even though I didn't get what I needed (which was a first), there are plenty of other things that you can get at an affordable price for your home.

Visited the nearest Dunelm to Bham City Centre on Sunday to look for new curtains for a big window. Couldn't get the size I wanted so ordered online. First thing Monday morning I received a text and an email to say that the curtains I wanted were 'out of stock' and that a 'refund would be sent in 3-5 days'. Dunelm are very organised, kept me informed and my refund was back in less than 48 hours. The variety of curtains looked amazing and I am more than confident that this weekend I'll find an alternative pair of curtains at the Erdington store and hopefully a new blind as well. I think Dunelm products are really nice quality and the in store service is always really good. Staff are always very helpful too.

Went to return some pillows after realising I didn't like them, not even slept on nor spent more than 10minutes on them, Came to them with my refund and instantly they said cant return that. I didn't get told on purchase which is meant to be the store policy?? Manager Jaime came down and looked at me like I was a piece of meat, and didn't want to corporate. Proceeded to not own the staffs inept ability to do there job, felt like a mug and the manager Jaime looked me dead in the eye and said I just wasted my money, proceeded to be rude not offering any solution. Neither did say sorry on behalf of the employee not telling me my policy, the stores ran by a child.

Awful customer services. Re ordered my order 3x to store and each time my item was smashed or broken. Only tissue paper used for glass light shades. When you try to raise it as a complaint or replacement store does not take responsibility for this. Store staff have made me travel twice to collect my order after saying item was in perfect condition. No replacement offered, store manager for the day did not bother to take accountability when checking stock room and made security tell me that there is no more in stock after making me wait on shop floor for almost half an hour. Also lack of communication between staff members

When to look for some blackout blinds for my youngest room. They was a good selection of quality blinds, but I was doubting my own measurements hence no purchase, but will come back to buy. They had a staff member at front of store counting the required target of people allowed in and out of store; which was good Covid-19 strategy. Good parking space. I couldn't speak of customer service due to leaving store without purchasing any items. They had a wonderful Dorma bedding selections really made me feel sleepy just looking at them. Also this a new store much more spacious compared to the previous branch, so worth a visit.

What a wonderful team they all are Dunelm, Highgate. Always so helpful and I was so impressed when I was helped immensely by Umaarah and Taha (security guard) after finding that I was missing two pillowcases from an opened (sale) duvet cover set bought at a different store. They problem solved, searched and found replacements for me, definitely the best customer service I have ever received! Their customer service is rubbish. I brought some bedding items that were wrong in size. When I tried to return it to them for an exchange they claimed that I had used them when they could clearly see they weren't. It was only opened at their branch and sealed back by their staff. I asked them to check the cameras at that date and time too to prove that I was telling the truth. I am a regular customer of Dunlem but from now on they will never see me again!!!!

Excellent shopping experience ... was my first time visiting this store which has not been open long at this location. Plenty of parking spaces which is shared with pc world and the store is spacious & located over two floors. The added bonus was the instore cafe on the second floor which looked very tempting & i will definitely try out the food on offer next time i visit. Overall a nice clean branch and a good shopping experience.

Visited this store for the first time on Sunday. Large stòre with an upstairs that I didn't have time to view. There are lots of items in store, some items on sale. Staff were ok. A bit disorientating due to the number of items. I couldn't locate the pay till for a while. Which is right by the front door. I found the items I went for and was happy with my purchase. I'll go back. Plus, parking is free, with a decent amount of bays.

So pleased a branch has opened near my home! Felt like a kid in a sweetshop and made the most of my visit by not only browsing and shopping, but also having tea & cake in the bright and airy upstairs café - one way to spend a perfect Sunday afternoon! It's so easy to freshen up your home's existing look with a few new pieces selected from the wide choice of colours and styles at reasonable prices. I'd definitely come again!

Pausa is an excellent cafe in Dunelm, to unwind after all the shopping. Pausa's staff Gaz is excellent with her great people's skill and runs the place single handedly! Must say she is super organized, always a smile on her face and the food here is lovely Highly recommend the Jacket potato, Turkey with cranberry sauce sandwich, the paninis, the pumpkin spice coffee....so yum. Honestly all the food here is good

A little pricier than buying from online websites but beautiful products. Unimaginably Very rude till/counter staff, me and family members, relatives etc... Have been to a few different branches and unfortunately it is the same at most branches, the Erdington branch is the worst. I don't understand how its like that in every branch, is it just the staff themselves or the culture set by managers.

If I could give them 0, I would. Their customer service has not replied to my ticket raised at the start of August, although they promise to do so within 72 hours.. You cant call them directly and even Dunelm's own receptionist could not get them to answer her calls and the local manager says it's not in his hands. If you shop with them, you do so on the understanding that you have no come back.

Did not feel very comfortable shopping, I felt that staff kept on staring. One member of staff told me not to go upstairs until the other person has completely gone even though there was around 4 meters gap between us, I ask him I thought it was 2 meters social distancing he replied its different on the stairs. I don't think I will be going there anytime soon.

Needed blinds for my house . Got them on a reasonable price. Got help from a lovely male member of staff enjoyed tea and bits at the shop cafe. Two lovely ladies who were working in the cafe were really excellent in saving us what we wanted for breakfast xx great staff team. This was the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Usually like a trip to Dunelm, this store is very much below par. Place was disorganised, incorrectly priced items and the rudest staff (when you eventually get served). This visit has changed my mind about Dunelm being my go to for homewares and bedding. Very disappointed.

Goid variety of goods on sale here for all tastes and needs. Layout could be better in terms of departments. Waiting time for tills is unacceptable due to less staff being available during week days. The store is primarily accessible for car users but you can get public transport and walk if you can to this venue

Despite ordering items to store, the goods still had to be picked in store. Original delivery date missed by a week without explanation. Staff friendly and apologetic. Two items handed over without external packaging or instructions. Dunelm need to get their act together when having a sale.

First time to go, was pleasantly surprised, will definitely go there again, staff friendly, helpful and great bargains. Would recommend anyone to go I went for wallpaper ended up with loads lampshades , plants at great price and value, good parking available even bus stops near.

Everything possibly required for the house can be found in this chain of stores. Dunelm has never failed me before and I don't think it will going forward. Their seasonal range is on trend, readily available in store and their website - a must visit if you haven't yet been.

Lots of good household items here. You do have to take time to search for the good stuff as there is also quite a lot of less good things. There is plenty of parking at the front and the staff are helpful. There is actually a person at the door to greet you as you go in.

I had a few returns, the process was easy and swiftly dealt with by Urwah today. She was friendly and knowledgeable too. I was in and out within 5 minutes but will be back soon. I received a text and email confirming the returns whilst l was still in store, excellent!

Good place to shop for household stuff, but beware if you are disable or you are bringing someone who has to use a wheelchair then you will be very lucky to get a parking space right by the entrance, it's normally used by the able-bodied who don't Need to park there.

Went in to buy curtains. Asked for help from an assistant who was absolutely amazing. Helped me work out sizes I needed. Ordered any that weren't in store. She was so busy but nothing was too much trouble for her and all with a smile on her face. Thank you Kate.

This store is a mess. As soon as you exit the life upstairs there is stock blocking your way (I had a pushchair) Downstairs the staff are blocking the end of the aisle with a trolley full of stock. Can move it slightly out the way. Staff not very approachable

Lovely shop...but unreliable service. Ordered through click and collect, went to collect my items after receiving a message from them, only to find after travelling a long distance that my order was not there. And was told to come back another day.

Every time I visit this store I have the best customer service. Every employee I've dealt with in store has been more than willing to help and go above and beyond. The supervisor or manager was extremely helpful this evening. Thanks Dunelm Highate!

Dunelm is just awesome imo …. Great products and prices. Bedding : has to be Dunelm, they have it locked off.? The rugs are hard to beat, but most of their products are top shelf. What’s not to love, some branches have great cafeterias now.

Who doesn't love a Dunelm?? I'm now a convert to all things Dunelm!! Some great quality items and at surprisingly good prices. For painting rollers get them here and not at other DIY centres as they are far cheaper here.

This place has a good selection of items for the home. Some quirky. Nice, clean store. It appears that this is the only place you can get some decent super king size bed sheets and duvet covers.

Great for starter homes and quick changes in the house. However, what's happened to the fabric selection? It used to be quite extensive but it has somewhat shrank in variety and quality.
