Very unpleasant experience at this station. Stopped for a car wash, I paid and proceeded but it was not working, I went back inside to ask for a refund and the woman working did not believe what I was saying. She gave me a new code and I proceeded to try again, this time I decided to take a video of my experience and once again the car wash was not working. I went inside to ask for a refund as I did not want to try again and have to back my car out a 3rd time, she avoided my question about a refund multiple times until finally telling I could not have one. She completely disregarded my frustration and told me to come back within 3 months and I could try again. I would definitely suggest avoiding this station as the reviews clearly show one too many negative experiences.

My experience must have been a one-off because I see that most reviews are good. I was asked for my ID when buying cigarettes (I am 30). I didn't have a problem with this, and was actually slightly amused/pleased, and so I smiled. This didn't seem to sit well with the attendant and he tossed the pack across the counter so hard it almost fell off the edge of the counter. He then scanned the reference barcode he had at the counter for a medium froster (beverage). I noted this on my receipt and it didn't seem to surprise him. He voided it and re-did the transaction. Nice try. He was nicer after I looked at his name tag. My visit was April 7, 2019, at 5:47PM.

This place is honestly a racist establishment the indians that work in the store are so arrogant when dealing with black people. Even to the point where i came in the store to buy something, the cashier asked if i bought gas i said no because i didnt she makes sure to make her coworker check up on my story like i was just naturally inclined to lie. When i get my car washed by their sub par car wash and it doesnt get the dirt off instead of honoring my patronage they come out to thoroughly inspect my vehicle like i was lying to them. I honestly have spent alot of money here and do not deserve that kind of treatment black or white

A man was in medical assistance here around 3:30pm on April 12, 2019 between the car wash and gas station. I went into the store and told the employee to call 911, a few minutes later another bystander told the employee to call again. STILL THE EMPLOYEE NEVER CALLED!!!!! I had to make the call myself. The man was diabetic and passed out in his vehicle while it was running. He was there a good time prior to my son and I arriving. Luckily, the fire department, and paramedics managed to gain his consciousness and transfer him to the hospital. Sad how society has become so arrogant and careless!

Bad experience debit was not working. Prepay after 10 o clock . Even 5 cent discount card not working. Guy on cash looks like he is caged into the box. After a small chat he told me owner is a little hard on them if someone runaway without paying for gas. Owner take out that money from there paycheck. So they are always stressful while standing on cash and unconciously transfer that stress to the customers.

Conveniently located at the corner of Woodroffe and Knoxdale. This location has a touchless car wash and vacuums convenient for a quick cleaning of your vehicle. A Tim Hortons was previously located on the property but has since closed. Tim Hortons coffee can be found inside the gas station convenience store. An average Esso location as one would expect with reasonable fuel prices.

My husband and I always gets coffee there between 4:30-5:30am on weekends for the last 6 months. There’s a new guy there the last 2 days (November 17 & 18) and clams the coffee isn’t usually on tell after 6am …. (Pure laziness in my eyes) then makes “jokes” and comments that are completely unnecessary and rude. Missing the person that used to work there…

Carefully people. I have been ripped off by this place more than one. If you pay at the pump you have a very good chance of having money stolen from your account. Check your online banking you'll see what I mean. I am surprised the police have not stepped in. My guess this is due to the Tim Hortens closing down.

What a joke they advertise free car washes all over the place if the staff forget to ask you . I went to pump my gas after paying inside and was never asked so I went into the store to ask staff was super rude and said it was my fault for paying with cash I will not be supporting this gas station anymore.

Basic gas station, not overly clean. They always give you grief if you try and pay with a $20 in the morning because they don't want to give change? I'm not trying to break a hundred, my man. I just want coffee to make my continued existence a little less terrible.

Super slow pumps. The slowest I have ever experienced. These pumps have seen better days. They are dirty and disgusting. They put in a new red trim on each pump advertising their Synergy gas, I guess they forgot to update the pumps at the same time...

The absolute worst service/gas station around! Pumps seem to be down frequently with no option to pay at the pump and have to pre-pay inside! Staff are confused and seem inadequately trained, if you ever get one to help you! Car wash is

Employee was on the phone with airpods speaking with his friend loudly. Customers are just a burden if you ask for help he will tell you it's a different system and call 1800 number. Don't bother going inside prices are a scam too.

The pump I used was awful. It was very slow and spilled some gas when the tank was full. Matters on a -30 degrees night.. the rest of the pumps looked old and unappealing. I usually go to Esso stations, won't go to this one again.

It is a good gas station. The machine is easier for the customers to DIY. The desktop clerk is friendly with an Indian accent. There are eight spots to fill in and also plenty of parking place surrounding the gas station.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would! Extremely rude and unprofessional staff at the counter.. it’s like an inconvenience for them when you come up to the counter. Customer service at its worst.. wouldn’t recommend!

If you have a Ford with a CAPLESS fuel port, you can't use pump #3. On two occasions the nozzle wouldn't insert and I had to move my car (2017 Focus) to a different pump. Great car wash though. Recently modernized.

Please make sure the expiry date of anything you buy from this store because they sell a lot of expiry items over there and they don't care if you get sick and they won't give a refund for expiry products we buy.

What is the point of using the Esso Price Privileges Card when the price of fuel at the Woodroffe location is exactly 2.5 cents per litre higher than its' competitor stations.Where is the incentive in that?

Shelves always stocked. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Carwash works great. Stall is always ready to offer answers to all questions. Lots of parking room for large trucks to park and grab a coffee.

Employee incorrectly utilized points rewards card and fuel discount card after the pump refused to scan them. Equipment and signage was poorly maintained and old and forecourt was untidy and not cleaned.

The employee at the cash lacked customer service skills, didn't speak, didn't smile, no please or thank you. It's unfortunately more and more common these days, seems to be a generational thing.

Carwash didn't had enough pressure to clean the car. Card readers weren't working. Pumps are in bad shape. I would avoid this station.

Nothing wrong with the spot. The equipment is a little old and updated but otherwise the pumps work fine and it was a good price.

If they don't ask u if u want a car wash you get to say "hey I get a free car wash cuz you didn't ask me" so watch for that
