I had high expectations for this cinema as a regular cinema goer. The idea is aimed at more comfort, akin to Cineworlds ViP. But the implementation is poorly delivered. On entry to the building there was a bar, you could order food and drinks here but were told to order at our seats in the cinema. We went to see Thor, and were on time for the 30 mins of adverts before the start of the film. Great time to demolish some popcorn we thought. Walking to our screen 5 and a half, we were presented with a waiting room with tables and chairs, but you could see through to the cinema filled with couches and armchairs. It was just below capacity, albeit its a small room and screen. Shown to our seats we were an end couch. My wife was next to a man who had filled the fixed side table full of drinks. Now the gripes Although we were given a menu when seated, it took 10 mins to take our order of popcorn and 2 coffees. Not a big or difficult order. But as the film started the order wasnt there so my wife challenged the staff to ask where it was and was told staff shortages, but its on its way. The order came a good 10-15 minutes into the film. Not a great start! As the film went on, the small shared side table became a point of frustration for my wife. The gents drinks constantly in her view, as were his hands back and forth. For me on the couch at 6foot3'', i struggled to get a comfortable footing. Also and this is the important bit, sitting on the edge the screen is positioned to the left yet the couches are all in a straight line. This means you are cranking your neck left for 2.5 hours. Inevitably i developed back pain and by half way through i was constantly shuffling to get comfortable. Audio - I could hear the people behind me eating, laughing, giggling. In fact we could hear a lot of people over the film audio. The film audio needs turning up considerably. The waiting room, emergency sign and curtain - there is nothing more distracting in a film than a light. What about a really bright emergency light, underneath which the staff had drawn a curtain semi closed, but open enough you could still see the bright waiting room, staff mulling back and forth, and a member of staff twiddling by the gap. Conclusion. Everyman is meant to offer a premium experience, but this is not what we encountered. Cineworld Vip and Odeon Luxe are better propositions. The coffee and popcorn was good, but expensive and delivery was tooooooo slow 1/5 Seating inadequately positioned 2/5 Shared table, just obstructive. 2/5 Audio and sound just not loud enough to drown out others 2/5 Lighting and curtains - we understand the need for the emergency light but the curtain shenanigans ruined the film 0/5 Total - 7/25
Used to love this place and visit regularly, partly because it was guaranteed that you’d be able to watch the film in peace. For whatever reason this hasn’t been the case recently, I feel because there isn’t enough done to stop people being disruptive during the film. Advising the audience to “keep chatting to a minimum” at the start of the film doesn’t really cut it and just encourages people to talk. Also incredibly disruptive and unfair to people who are there and have paid good money for the film to have staff bringing out burgers half an hour into the film and getting in the way of the screen, not to mention loudly relaying people’s food orders unnecessarily (which was our experience last night) so perhaps have a cut off point for food orders so this doesn’t happen. There have been several times over the past few months where my husband and I have considered leaving due to disruptive guests and staff not doing anything to make sure people can actually watch the film they’ve paid to see. Glad we haven’t though as apparently everyman has a “no refund policy” - again really disappointing as other cinemas such as vue are happy to refund the ticket price if you’re unable to watch the film properly. Also worth mentioning that the films are always very quiet and very difficult to hear over the rustling of crisp packets and the screens look like they could do with a good clean. Not a cinema first and foremost and not the place to go anymore if you’re there for the film
Never been to an Everyman cinema before and I was impressed. Love the table service in the bar area and how the relatively small theatres give a more intimate feel than the larger chain cinemas which adds to the experience. Sound quality in the screens is fab and the 'cuddle settees' work well to give that homely feel. Furthermore, I love how refreshments can be brought directly to your seat with its integrated table. A big thumbs up to the staff who announce the film just before it's about to start (or they did when I went) and extra cudos for the lad who announced our film but then forgot its name at the moment of truth (to be fair to him, it was a one off showing). Made us all laugh in the theatre though! However - all this personal attention from the staff and the intimate cinema experience comes at a price and this is evident in their food, drinks and ticket prices; all of which are well above those of the national chain cinemas - which are in themselves, expensive. Unless you've got plenty of disposable income, some discount vouchers or perhaps don't eat or drink a lot; then this cinema's pricing structure positions itself as a luxury experience for most folk I'd say. Despite this I'll be back I think with friends, perhaps as a special treat to watch a 'must see' film that we'd really like to see big-screen projection rather than little-screen streaming!
I really enjoy visiting the Everyman, the sofas are comfortable and the food and drink options are enjoyable and diverse. Unfortunately recently the experience hasn't been as good as previously. On our most recent visit, we had to order food and drinks from our seat, there wasn't much of a system so getting the chance to order was difficult. And something we ordered was forgotten, but as food was still being brought out during the start of the film, we didn't want to miss any of the film to go and get it. This made the whole food ordering experience difficult, and was made annoying by other guests having been able to get their own snacks and drinks at the bar and bring them in themselves. And as staff were only sorting out food orders, there was nobody directing people to their seats, this combined with how the row letters seem to be for the row above, not the row they're on this caused a lot of people to sit on the wrong row and have to shuffle around. However I did appreciate that this system made the foyer less crowded. The toilets were okay, but the floor consistently sticky. And I'm sure on precious visits there were genderless toilets, however those seem to have vanished. Causing queues of people refusing to use perfectly good toilets because of them being labelled male or female.
Everyman cinemas are great, yeah they’re a little more expensive but you pay for what you get. If all you wanna do is see the movie, wait until it streams and watch it on TV with a drink, some grub and a comfy sofa. If you want the experience of a big screen with amazing sound watch it at the cinema. If you want the best of both then Everyman is the place for you. No fuss and no hassle. Just walk to the bar, order your drinks and food, then head into your small, cosy, intimate room with big screen and a handful of sofas. A short while later your drinks and food will arrive. With tables to put your food on, wine coolers to keep your grape juice cold what more could you ask for. Oh yeah, a nice ledge in front to pop your feet up once you’ve kicked your shoes off. The food tastes amazing and the drinks are plentiful including some food wines. Need a top up? Place an order and it will be delivered. Taking the kids? Ice cream sundaes are amazing. We go a few time a year as a treat. Go on, treat yourself.
First time visiting Everyman and won’t be returning unfortunately complete chaos when you walk in, no one greets you we genuinely didn’t no what was going on where to go……. Searched for the screen ourselves after 20 minutes of wondering around! Seemed like a social area for some of the staff briefly sat outside to have 2 geordie women come out lay down on the seat and started loudly slagging the company off how it isn’t just team leaders and managers who should be on the bar because she has no experience whilst swearing honestly absolutely embarrassing. Eventually found the screen (ourselves) went in and wow just dirty! Food from previous showing on the arm of the sofa etc apparently it’s about the experience here lol it’s shared toilets which I have no problem with but us women don’t like overflowing sanitary bins so men certainly won’t want to sit next to one, we walked out half way through the film I was on the back foot before it even started just a waste of money.
Awful and distressing experience here. We weren’t able to see the film we’d paid for as the seats we purchased were not as described on their website. The manager was abrasive and arrogant and refused to refund us (despite not watching the film), and instead said we could have vouchers for another time if we wanted. This is not a suitable response to a complaint, as we hadn’t used the service we’d paid for, so the very least he should offer is a refund. His lack of awareness and accommodations for customers with disabilities (particularly neurodivergence and mental health) is extremely disappointing, and he stormed off mid-conversation, leaving us visibly upset. A very dehumanising experience, and I hope they can learn how to be an accessible cinema in the future (as well as cleaning their dirty sofas).
All in all the film was good Black Adam the popcorn tasted old and stale and i have had fresh popcorn many times before but i have had better than i had today from a £1 bag from the supermarket. Its got to be right when its nearly £6 for a large box and your buying 3 of them. The worst part was that we all know you get some advertisements or trailers before a movie but when the film is set to start at 1.30pm and it starts at nearly 2pm and you have sat through 30 minutes of trailers and adverts it is a bit tedious. All in all may have to try another venue in future with the family.Going back to the popcorn will we be paying more for popcorn than the actual film tickets in the future? No wonder Everyman Cinema chain is one of the only cinemas who dont let you take in your own snacks now.
Everyman Cinemas used to stand out when they started because they gave really good customer experience to ensure as little disruption during films as possible. Standards at Everyman , Leeds really poor. Uncleared tables in the foyer No friendly warning before the film started politely asking customers to switch off phones, refrain from taking if you can etc Decision now made to take orders when seated which involves staff talking over the film at high volume to check orders Orders arriving at the start of the film Maybe this was just a bad experience when watching Elvis when the age of the audience reflected numerous trips to the toilets, chatting during the film, ordering bottles of wine and using the venue like some cafe with friends
I was served half of my food and had to find who they'd given the other half too. The original server insisted I'd only ordered one item as he passed a bemused other cinema goer a burger they'd never ordered. When I gave him my one burger back, it returned five minutes later, cold, and still without the rest of my order (and with no comments, apologies, no mention still of my missing food). Thankfully I'd found the missing burger (by asking the other paying customers) which apparently the staff weren't able to do. I spoke to the manager afterwards who just looked bemused and I'm not sure was that bothered. Really disappointed as I've been coming here since it opened in leeds. Standards have significantly dropped.
Junk food, over priced and jobsworths! It’s nice going here for a change from the big chains that have a more corporate feel, but last time I went I was stopped whilst entering the cinema screen because I had a coffee (even though they said nothing at the cinema entrance itself when I bought the tickets)….it was a soya flat white from cafe Nero and this is not something Everyman offer (dairy free and low sugar). In her words “we are a restaurant and you wouldn’t take food in to a restaurant”. Correct I wouldn’t, but I’m going to the cinema and want a drink of my choice! it’s hardly turning up with a full on evening meal and I’ve paid £15pp for my ticket. Their food and drink options are unhealthy and SO limited.
Yesterday March 1st myself and my son were in Leeds city centre looking for somewhere to lovely to sit and have drinks before we caught our train back to London . My son who was not feeling well came up with the idea of going to the Everyman which turned out to be a totally inspired choice !! It was like being in the bar of a beautiful New York hotel but also felt like we had arrived home ! The manageress and waitress whose name I can’t remember ( I think Holly and Lucy ) but not sure , could see my son wasn’t feeling well were so lovely , charming and kind to us that the Everyman Leeds is now my favourite place .... shame we live in London ... I hope the powers that be see this as think they’re very special xx
A comfortable place to watch a Blockbuster like Mission Impossible. We ordered food and drink in the cinema. The service was very por. Coffee was too cold when it arrived and a cold drink arrived in a glass of ice but no actual drink! We ordered ice cream sundaes, these too were disappointing. The portions were small and served in extremely clumsy Kilmer jars. They arrived about 20 minutes after they were ordered when the film had already started. Audience members in front of us were offered the same food 3 times, it was not what they had ordered. The whole food ordering and delivery was chaotic. I’m not sure why they can’t organise this better. It would be better to scrap it altogether.
Firstly the small issues... This particular cinema room had a total of 3 rows. The cinema screen was probably 30% larger than my 85 inch TV screen. Essentialy, it felt more like an enlarged living room rather than a cinema. But I can live with that. Initially we were told they'd prefer for us to have end seats due to social distancing. Though not compulsory as per government guidelines, it was our choice. We agreed. However, due to the angle, we could hardly see the screen. We requested to swap seats, but our request was refused. We then went on to order popcorn. I'm unsure which century it was bought from, due to the stale nature. Awful experience overall considering the price paid.
If I could give 100 stars I would. Little Mix tonight was great but the experience was made a thousand times more special because of the fabulous staff at Everyman. My 1st ever visit, now I'll make a point of going. Shout out to Kyle, Alex, Liv. Fantastic team who took care of everyone, so welcoming, friendly, kind, attentive. Theatre itself was fantastic, comfy sofas, great selection of drinks, snacks, meals which can be served to your seats... With a genuine smile! Next time we'll eat there as its a great vibe, lovely chilled atmosphere. From now it will be my preferred destination because the staff go all out to make your visit special. Thankyou.
Since Everyman opened in Leeds, it has always been my favourite cinema. I have found it cleaner and less busy than the other more popular cinemas within the city, i.e. Cineworld, The Light. Customer service and experience have always been faultless. However, I was disappointed upon visiting Everyman last week as I was told they no longer offer Student Discount (with the complimentary pizza they always gave). It was always a nice touch to the cinema experience, so it's a shame they no longer offer this. That said, I am confused as the Everyman Twitter account mentions Student Discount is still available, albeit at off-peak times only!
The seating area isn't sloped well enough so if someone sits in front of you, their head is in your view. Especially unhelpful if you're watching a film with subtitles. My coffee was bought to me but was cold. This wasn't helped by the fact we had to wait for our screen to be cleaned (they had forgotten to do it and only realised once they went to let us sit). At the start of the film, when it was quiet, I could hear sound from the next screen. When I used the toilets, I found one fully blocked with toilet roll and another with rubbish. Everyman is a nice idea but poorly executed. Next time I want to see a film, I'll stick to Odeon.
Lovely cinema of which I have been a member for many years. I love the atmosphere, and the screens have a good image and sound quality. My issues are mainly with the food delivery inside the screen room. It has happened to me now three or four times to forget me. Usually, I get out and remind them, but today at 19.00, John Wick's movie at screen two, I didn’t bother going out because I wanted not to mess up my experience. In the end, we are here for the movie. Lessons learnt (many times, actually), so yes, I will visit again. I still have tickets in my membership anyway, but I will never order food again during the screening time.
Celebrating our 1st year anniversary, we went to watch elvis which was amazing although there was adverts which lasted 40 minute plus the 2hr 40min film. No help or information was given to us from what we assumed was the manageress? We felt we was treated differently, upon arrival we explained that we have never been before so we didn't know what to do, she sighed, told us to take a seat and someone will be over shortly. 5 min until are film supposedly starts, still no one has catered to us. Are drinks took 25 mins to arrive which was also very expensive for what they were. Will return in Hope's of better service
Lovely place nice organised, staff helps a lot, nice place for kids birthday party and good movie screen for kids movie. Everything is well organised, the movie screen is good, the sound quality is good, and the seating seats are good and comfortable, there is extra space for parents to sit and watch their kids, The washroom is close to the hallway. Seating chairs in the main hall are nice and comfortable, there is cold storage available. Drinking tab water available. Bigger sofas to sit on and more comfortable, food is good and worth the price. The staff are well skilled and well organised they know what to do.
Great sound and picture, love how they bring your food to your sofa and they have tables. Everyone was spoken to and explained the covid regulations too. It has a real relaxed atmosphere and it's own pizzeria Parking is available close by at a cost. Amazing cinema to catch a flick and chill with friends. Has to be the best cinema experience I've been to in ages, oh and the movie was great too nearly forgot to mention that the sofas are super cool too If you've never been here, try it once, you'll be so surprised at how good it is. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back
Screen 5 1/2 - (is actually screen 5). Purchased tickets and when in actual screen we were sat on an angle to see the screen. Asked to change seats but already sold out. Moved the tickets on to next showing and ate our food in the bar. Do not book tickets for extreme left or extreme right for this screen as it won’t be an enjoyable experience, you are sat looking face on to a curtain / blank wall. Shocking for the price charged! When I asked who handles complaints, I was told to leave a review on the website. Don’t suppose I’ll hear anything back doing this but if it helps others to enjoy so be it.
We visited here to watch Mission Impossible! It is located inside Trinity Leeds. I really enjoyed watching at Everyman cinema. We ordered the large mixed popcorn (that was super salty and sweet) and some soft drinks, the staff brought them to our seats! The sofa seat was so comfortable and I could sit with my husband. The ticket is usually more pricey than the other cinema but it’s worth coming here for watching your favorite movies and unique experiences. The toilets are available in the cinema. Very nice and clean sofa seat, and modern interior. The staff was extremely friendly as well.
Just seen the new Bond film here yesterday , 1st time, such a great experience, staff excellent as was the sofas! My only issue was in the current climate, the guy sat next to me was clearly unwell, coughing, sneezing, blowing his nose literally all the way through the 3hr film! I appreciate face masks are not mandatory here now, but I’m surprised that temperate checks weren’t carried out prior to entering the screening room as he shouldn’t have been allowed to attend the film imho, we stayed in a city centre hotel recently and had our temp checked prior to our stay being authorised!
Not sure what has happened to the Everyman but it’s no longer the experience that I remember. Arrive a bit early to have a drink before film, can’t go to bar as told ‘too busy’ asked to sit and someone will take our order ‘in a second’, wait, no one takes our order, then asked to go into film screen and they will take our order in there, go in, wait, eventually order taken, wait, wrong drinks, wait, correct drinks. Couldn’t they just let us go to bar and get our drinks when we want? If you aren’t allowed to sit and have a drink before film then what’s the point of having a bar?!
I should imagine this place was great when it first opened, but now it just feels worn (broken door handles, broken hand dryers, flaky paint here and there etc). The drinks/food are ridiculously overpriced and that's after you've paid the best part of thirty quid for two tickets. The sofas aren't as comfortable as you're led to believe and when you can get electronic, reclining seats and way more space at the nearby Showcase Cinema for seven quid a pop, this place just seems like a venue to soak up all the hipsters cash. Don't be fooled by the 'cool' aspect.
This cinema is ok but is now looking a bit tired and it's overpriced for what you get. The novelty of having food & drink delivered to your sofa-style seat is no longer a strong selling point, and doesn't justify the high price. (You can pay the same and get the most expensive, spacious, modern Vue Imax seats with electric foot rests.) The screen was small, the sound quality poor, and the food was just ok. We'll probably keep on using Vue from now on. The film was great though (West Side Story). Just wish we'd seen it on a proper big screen!
First time attending. Was okay, you could order drinks which I thought was a good idea at first but then it got pretty annoying when they just stand in front of you so you can't see the movie. This is the same when other people ordered drinks too, they would just stand in your way and its very distracting from the film. Also the service was kind of slow, had to wait a while for our drinks to arrive. I had someone ordering next to me and I could hear them talking for awhile, again kind of distracting. All in all, mediocre experience.
This is a great cinema with well designed decor that makes it stand out. Some of the seating is more comfortable than others, as you might expect from sofas. You do have small tables next to the seat, but they are only really big enough for your drink. You can order a variety food from a reasonable menu and have it delivered during your film. Though I feel that this is a good feature, though I have never used it myself, I do find it a little distracting when it occurs, despite the staff being very discrete. Worth a visit.
Fantastic cinema experience. Saw the Creator here on a Wednesday night with a decently sized audience (but not too busy). So comfortable. It feels like sitting at home, but with the cinema visuals and audio. A little pricey (when also buying snacks and drinks) but not unreasonable. If you're going to see a trashy 90 minute action flick, the VUE will do fine. If you're going to see an epic 3 hour plus movie (think an Oppenheimer or Killers of the Flower Moon) I'd definitely recommend upgrading to an Everyman experience.
This felt like a very luxurious experience! The fixtures and fittings in all areas of Everyman were plush, stylish and interesting. In the actual cinema itself the seats we had chosen were very comfortable and spacious. I felt relaxed and very chilled - which was helped by the great gin and tonics which were delivered to our seats. We also had pizza brought to our seats which was piping hot and delicious. I felt it was a very nice experience and we got exactly what we paid for. A lovely treat
Right. It was an experience in itself. Good points are, loads of space, great seating with seats resembling settees, food and drink served to you as you watch your film which is great if you're watching a 3 hour film such as Avengers endgame. Only a couple of bad points such as you can see the waiters heads bobbing along the bottom of the screen as they go about their business and the toilets are a bit of a hike to get to. All in all I would go again and yes I would recommend it to others.
In comparison to Vue, the seats are definitely much comfier and softer. However, the back support is a bit short so there was nowhere to rest my head so I just had to sit upright ish. It’s great to be able to have alcohol or other drinks instead of just Pepsi etc along with food. Although the waitress said she’d be back every 20min but she didn’t return at all throughout the film so had to go out to get food myself. It’s a good experience but unsure if it’s worth the price difference.
£13.50 a ticket to sit in a room full of people noisily eating smelly food while clinking glasses and bottles all through the movie isn't my idea of a good experience. Add in the lack of anywhere to put a coat other than the floor and the expensive drinks & snacks and it's not really somewhere I'd rush to visit again. The decor in the public areas is spot on and service good but as a cinema it's not for me, I go to these for the film, not to get fed and drunk.
Great cinema experience, I haven’t been for a couple of years but have returned twice in the past couple of weeks. The experience is a massive improvement on the competition and well worth the increase in cost. Food is great, and the convenience and having your snacks delivered to you makes it a fantastic date night option. The only way I can see this being improved is if we could order via an app. Keep up the amazing work keeping cinemas relevant
It's an upmarket movie theatre with a bar outside where you can order your drinks as well as meals (which are then delivered to you in the movie theatre). The theatre itself has tables for your drinks and double seats where you and your partner can sit together. However, I did find the seats had no lower back support and my back felt progressively more uncomfortable as the movie progressed. It's a pity as the experience was otherwise very good.
So amazing. The one in Harrogate is slightly more comfortable as it has bigger sofas to sit on but this one is very posh and well looked after. Food is amazing and well worth the prices. I recommend their Sundays and the Purity Amber ale absolutely delicious. Staff are amazing and very well trained we will be coming again. Unisex toilets that say "everybody" on the door so nobody can say they aren't inclusively motivated
What a brilliant cinema! Confused me at first (you buy your tickets at the bar whilst ordering drinks, snacks or a meal... that will be brought to you inside the cinema) - and the staff were super friendly and helpful. A bit pricey, but the settee seating was extremely comfortable with plenty of leg room... and it included a free whiskey sour! The steak role was fantastic too. Great place to watch your film!!
What can I say. Everyman is the best experience I've had at a cinemas hands down. Food and drinks brought to your seat. Comfortable almost sofa like seats that have small tables. Pleasant helpful staff, I overheard one staff member asking if the sound level was ok to the people in front of me. Relatively small screens that seem more cosy. This all adds up to a very pleasant experience. I thoroughly recommend.
Brilliant Cinema with comfy seating and a lovely atmosphere. It's price might be dear compared to other cinemas but it's worth that extra charge. The staff are friendly and give the place a wonderful atmosphere: warm, welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit for a movie with family or a group of friends but if you are going solo I would recommend going elsewhere and save yourself money.
Very disappointed, cinema said open till 11pm and needed to pick up a gift voucher for a gift as I work late. Arrived at the cinema at just before 10pm. The front kiosk was closed and it said a sign to up to the bar. I asked if I could purchase a gift voucher. They said “no sorry” while they were still open and serving… just frustrated as I could tell that they just couldn’t be bothered
You come here for the experience rather than on a budget. Once you have that expectation you will enjoy the atmosphere and the experience. The sofa is comfortable and enough space for a drink and a light meal. The screens are also a good size. Toilets have a full closed cubicle too with its own sink and dryer. You are paying for the experience rather than just the film. Will visit again
Watched Gotg vol 3 during a mental health crisis and found the entire cinema lovely with very attractive and attentive female staff. It was probably the best cinema experience I've had in my life and it was topped with a nice cola with ice from the bar to watch during the film. I wish this cinema all the success in the world as the staff as a whole are awesome and are Customer first.
Haven't been to the cinema in a long time. Decided to go to Everyman cinema, I thought it was quite pricey, despite getting a concession ticket. Had a good seat, (double sofa) which was different, but that comfy I nearly fell asleep. Nice to be able to get a bite to eat & a glass of wine during the film. Would I go again. Not sure it's worth the money, but an enjoyable experience.
Went here to see a corporate private viewing of the Bond film. A friendly welcome at the public entrance, pointing me to the private screen and hospitality. The drinks service throughout the afternoon and evening was good with a nice selection of drinks, and the food and snacks provided were plentiful and of good quality, including the popcorn provided at the seats.
Staff absolutely amazing- especially Isla (the manager). We had a bit of confusion with our tickets and she helped us sort it out. There was also a lovely girl who I think her name was Nicola. She was friendly and made conversation with us. The sofas inside of the auditoriums were very comfortable and unlike any other cinema seats. Would definitely recommend going.
I’ve never thought to post a review but I’ve been coming here for just over 5 years and mostly alone for a drink and a chill out. Such a lovely place to take a little break for yourself. And the food is great my only complaint would be sometimes they don’t have squid. I love their squid. The staff are very polite and helpful it’s just a lovely place to be.
I used to love going to Everyman, but the gloss is starting to fade. They seem to insist you order from your seats these days, without menus, in the dark. Some of the servers speak too loudly and it's difficult to watch the trailers. The toilets are grimy, various bits are broken and the decor is damaged. It's like there's no pride in the product.
Have not been to a cinema since the start of Covid, so this was a real treat. The cinema is safe. You needed masks to walk around but you can take it off while seated. Someone brings your food for you so you don't have to wait in a massive queue. The seats are lush, the sound is gorgeous, the screen is great. Perfect for a date night for sure!
Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious, as are the drinks. The staff always seem happy and in a good mood. The cinema itself is a little disappointing. The seating inside has seen better days and could do with a bit of cleaning between screenings. Seems a lot more expensive now that other cinemas only charge five pounds.
The worst experience of any cinema I have been to. The staffs are so rude. Went In to watch black panther with my kids, and we were constantly harassed by a male staff that kept coming to tell my kids to keep quite and told me to off my phone, just because I looked at my phone for a notification. I want a refund! Not family friendly
Unique cinema experience. Very comfy, and cosy. Take a tray into screen area, of whatever takes ya fancy; there's small tables attached to ends of the sofas, complete with built-in bin! Cappuccinos are beaut! And so nice to drink from a proper cup and saucer. Also, Coca-Cola is over £3!! My kids had dilute squash (about 50p ). …
I like the set up inside and the the seats. Had a couple that the whole Cinema was upset with constantly on their phones and taking pictures with flash ruining the experience. Me and many others reported it nothing done just watched them for a bit wasted my money might as well have gone to the VUE where I expect that kind of stuff
The cinema experience is great. Comfy sofas to chill in. We ate and had drinks downstairs before the film started. Service was a bit slow, although we didn’t mind as we had time. It’s great that you can order more snacks/drinks at the bar, to be served whilst the ads are on in the cinema. Would certainly go again.
Staff friendly and helpful, seating uncomfortable and dusty (sneezy) and room cold. Booked online and paid 2.25 booking fee so nearly £18 a ticket plus a tenner for a glass of basic wine. Not worth the high price when you can get a comfy recliner at the vue for half the price but film was canny and staff helpful.
This is definitely my favorite cinema to go to. It's definitely not a family cinema, and honestly one designed for couples. The seats are two seat sofas, the drinks are boozy and the food is very good. My only complaint is the price, but honestly, you get what you pay for, so it's really not a complaint at all.
Always a fantastic experience at Everyman. I live 35 minutes away but it's my cinema of choice. All the screens are good sizes, the food is really nice (but quite expensive) and the chairs are all really comfortable. The ticket prices are also very reasonable to say it's a big step up from other local cinemas.
1st visit for my girlfriends birthday, loved the sofas where we could cuddle up without an arm rest between us, loads of leg room and space in the cinema AND we could get an alcoholic drink to take in, this is cinema for grown ups!! Excellent service from Eddie, we will be going again when we're next in Leeds
One of the best cinemas in West Yorkshire. The seats were very comfortable. There is plenty of staff providing waited service for both drinks and food throughout the film. The building is well presented and well kept. It's provides a nice atmosphere and is next to several nice bars for after watching a film.
It's a perfectly fine cinema, but it is far too expensive. Tickets are double the price compared to cinemas like Vue, seating is on par with recliners available at other cinemas, food and drink options are good but have the same ridiculous markup as other cinemas combined with the expensive tickets.
I love this cinema. Comfortable seating, food and drinks served to you in the screen, and it doesn't feel like you're packed in like sardines. You can get a decent view and plenty of room wherever you're sat. My one gripe is that the pizzas are too small, but this isn't enough to knock a star off.
Staff are amazing and I LOVE everyman's approach. ONLY 3 stars because they always add a £1.90 booking fee; no one seems to explain why we're being charged this. Can someone explain, what are we paying for here? A small amount but In principle I don't like when consumers are charged just because.
Really expensive to visit, but so many extras come with the experience. We got a free whiskey cocktail, massive comfy seats and virtually the place to ourselves. It's a shame the toilet is so far from the viewing screens, though, it means 10 minutes of the film is lost just going to the loo.
Went to see Fantastic Beasts 2. Our favourite cinema to go as a couple. Booked a double sofa in advance. Cocktails before the movie - limited but better than alchemist and ordered food and a bottle of wine to our seat inside the cinema (side tables are part of the seats). Staff are fantastic
Great place to take a date although quite costly, around 15£ a ticket. On the other hand all of the screens have excellent seats (armchairs, sofas, etc.) And the staff are amazing, every time I go I order a vanilla milkshake with Bailey's I love it. The atmosphere is pretty good too.
Not the cheapest cinema, but certainly my favourite. Seats are reasonably comfy, if you order food before your film they bring it to your seat for you during the adverts and trailers. Screens and sound system is good, the toilets here are also quite delightful and well maintained.
Brilliant experience. Great ambiance in bar etc. Good outdoor space for drinks etc. All staff friendly welcoming helpful and efficient. In cinema loved the sofa seats and fact that you can have drinks and snacks brought to you. Can't wait to visit again on my next trip to Leeds.
I don't want to go anywhere else now! Wish I'd discovered Everyman before but now I have.. Absolutely wonderful, staff are truly wonderful, a cut above. Food was amazing & I'm a fussy vegan. Any film visit is turned into an occasion. Can't fault, wonderful afternoon..... Again.
Great experience - something a bit different! Worth paying a bit extra for a luxury experience. Comfy sofa seating, nice bar with balcony and great concept - bringing bar food to you at your seat at the start of the showing. Will definitely be visiting again, a nice treat!
My first time visiting this cinema. Definitely an experience. Went very early so hard to say what it would be like during busy periods. Staff were friendly and professional. Seats were very comfortable and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed. Will definitely go again
It's the cinema with bells and whistles on. Comfy chairs, good drinks and snack options too. A good selection of films and you'll be hard pushed to find the same level of comfort elsewhere. If you've got a rucksack, take a thin blanket for the extra cosy feels.
Love that the seating turning out to be coaches. I was fully able to cuddle and hold my boyfriend will watching the movie. It was almost like watching it at home. Food is very expensive and not really worth it but they will deliver it to your seat.
I have to say, the cinema was SO LOUD! It was so uncomfortably loud and nearly deafening. I don’t know if it was the movie. Just watched Oppenheimer in Leeds Nice cinema though, love the creativity and how comfortable it is. Just hated the noise
Great experience with having food and drinks brought to you. Super comfy seats coupled with excellent quality screen and sound. Inside is a mixture of old vs new which works perfect in my eyes. All round great cinema and will be back again
Cinema is really nice internally and the sofa within the cinema itself is a nice touch. Staff were friendly enough and food was good, just felt like it was slightly overpriced for what you got. But I guess most cinemas are like that now.
Terrible experience today in Leeds. Advertised times on door of cinema did not match internet advertised times nor the actual times the films were being shown! We planned the whole day around seeing the film, very disappointed indeed
Watch a film, sat on sofas while being brought cocktails and food. What more do you need to know? Staff are friendly, venue is great and it's a unique experience. Definitely worth a visit, I know I'll be going back. Kids love it too.
More expensive than other Leeds cinema's, but such a great place for a treat. I've been here twice now and enjoyed eating delicious pizza in comfy settee chairs, whilst watching the film and drinking a glass of wine or a cocktail!
Large venue with a large bar area right at the top of the Trinty centre. Nice sofas and great staff. It has an industrial feel, several toilets were out of order or had no soap or loo roll, but as there were plenty it was fine.
Absolutely brilliant experience! Lovely staff, tasty food and a very comfortable seat :) The only thing for me would be the price of the tickets, £30 for two of us to go. It's expensive but worth the experience I believe!
A fantastic cinema that has officially ruined normal cinemas for me! Yes, it's a tad more expensive than the likes of Vue, but ultimately you get what you pay for. Massively comfy, lovely staff and a nice atmosphere.
Great service, great seats , a bit too loud for me , but might be getting old The best but is that you sit down on the sofa and someone is coming to take you food and drinks order. We really loved it ! …
Very comfy and cosy place to watch a movie. It's a pleasure to visit, great bar and kitchen, sofas are amazing and the film programme they put on has some interesting independent stuff in there. Great!
10/10!!! Amazing service throughout and a massive thank you to manager and staff for going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic night. Top quality service, food, drinks and overall experience
I liked the sofa seating systems they have. Comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and tidy with washing basin in each bathroom. The ticket prices are slightly high but the experience is worth it.
Great cinema, loved the sofas and table service. Food is a bit pricey, I wouldn't necessarily go the pizza again but the sweet potato fries were phenomenal. Really friendly and helpful staff.
10/10 We had burgers and milkshakes. All really nice. Great venue. Staff lovely, in particularly macy and tegan. We had a small issur with booking and they sorted straight away. Thankd guys
Expensive & overated with a small screen! People up and down going to the toilet every ten mins! Most expensive can of coke I've ever bought £3.75! Can safely say we won't be going back.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and comfy sofas! First time in a cinema since Covid and felt totally relaxed. Food service is good, especially seeing as it doesn't interrupt the film!
First time at this amazing cinema experience. Staff lovely, food great and seating was very comfortable. It truly has changed for me the way to watch a movie. Can't wait to go back.
Great fim (Elvis). Very friendly and efficient staff giving personal attention and very comfortable seating. Booked again for next week. Many thanks for such a positive experience!
Really great cinema experience. Well looked after by the staff, and the sofas make for something special. It is VERY pricey though, so expect to remortgage when you're done …
The seats weren't as comfy or large as I expected. The drinks were as expensive as expected. Quite an average experience, really. Not sure what the hype is about Everyman Cinemas?
How all cinemas should be done. Comfortable chairs with plenty of leg room, and refreshments. What's more to like? Needs a system for ordering once you are already in the cinema.
We love going here, the food is fabulous and the sofas in the screens really comfortable. Top this off with the friendly staff and you know you're in for s great evening
Lovely multiplex cinema in the Trinity Shopping Centre. The comfortable seats, tables and food/drinks that you can take in with you is a real bonus. Highly recommended
Very nice cinema and the staff were really good, my only gripe is that the volume was so loud it hurt, turn it down a tad and it would be a much better experience!
Very nice experience. Did expect sofas to be a little more spaced out. Felt like the person next to me was very close but very nice food, drinks and fast service
In an era of second rate service, Everyman Leeds is a refreshing change. Friendly staff who are more than willing to help. A pleasant and enjoyable afternoon.
Great cinema to watch the latest movies. Service at seat is a bonus - prices and choices were pretty reasonable too. Possibly the best movie venue in Leeds.
