Started going on solo cinema trips in the mornings to get myself out of the house and cause it's my preferred way to enjoy movies. This is my third outing so far and currently the quietest one I've been on, literally the only person to be there but had a great time. Staff were lovely and really like the recliner chairs. Honestly I always wondered why people talk about the cinema industry dying off but these trips have made me realise why. The most populated viewing I've been to far has been Ant Man and the Wasp with like 10-15 of us there the other two it's either been me alone in a cinema or literally two other people there. I grew up going to the cinema and love the experience and guess I wanted somewhere to write how it's made me feel to see the industry on its last legs in some places. In terms of an actual review of the place the cinema is pristine, all the way up to the ticket machines, these are massively outdated and aren't really functional. Not sure if it's a money thing or if everyone just buys tickets online now or at the counter so they don't bother updating them but it was a bit annoying first time I went. The actual building it's in is gorgeous, the natural light that comes in through the glass ceiling and walls either side make it a nice experience to walk into and feel comfortable. Anyway here's a picture and video of me in a unplanned private cinema viewing I thought was kinda funny. Oh also Close as a movie is bloody gorgeous if not incredibly sad at points. Go see it if you have the chance

GOOD: I love the food (bit expensive tho), love the seats (all recliner), picture quality is briliant as well (abit better than Odeon Dolby). All screens have 100% clarity of dialogue throughout the screening. All else is fine including hygeine of the seats and the seating makes you feel much more at a theatre than other theatres for some mystery special reason. Oh, and yes, the magic rooms (I mean the toilets) are just clean here. Nothing too fancy, just simple and hygenic service here. There is a seating area just near the escalators on reception floor, it is a small seating area (sometimes they just completely remove the sofas lol). So, nice for a small family waiting haha. I wouldn't want it to change tbh. BAD: Worse thing about few (of not every) screen is the music. Music scenes just very suppressed when it comes to this theatre (on hindi films since i mostly watch them here), you can't hear most of the instruments properly in all screens. Another sort of a red flag is the self-service checkout. If you are lucky, they'll give someone else's ticket to you (weird idek how) but your ticket to them. Happened to me about a film where I booked for a few people and it gave me next person's ticket instead (idek how it knew what the next person will buy ). Anywho, just use the reception, avoid the self-service machines.

After a very long - 20 years - break from going to the cinema - I found Vue to be like the very first time as a Kid walking inside to watch numerous films on offer. In the past 12 months I have enjoyed going to see blockbuster movies such as Fantastic Beasts, Thor, Free Guy, Doctor Strange and other's. The atmosphere is as you would expect of a cinema too; the reclining seats give that extra touch, while the surround sound has definitely come a long way to actually fulfill the saying: Live the movie. Of course, the one thing that was quite unexpected was the Evacuation Announcement stopping Thor: Love and Thunder, for a 40 minute break that had everyone clear the cinema. It did not spoil the movie, however, but did give a sense of safety and security in that we were a priority. A fantastic cinema to go to, as long as they keep their seat prices fair and the convenience of prebooking online at any time to reserve a seat. I have now found my love the cinema again and will revisit again and again in the near future with my two daughters, which is an added bonus all of its own. Thank you Vue for being so family friendly.

Fairly clean and comfortable cinema. I have no problem with the physical cinema. The problem is that on two occasions my experience was ruined because of noisy kids with no manners and no control. The first occasion was with some teenage boys who were talking and using their phones through the whole movie. They were rough housing and throwing food and their shoes at the screen. We asked them to stop but they behaved with arrogance as if to say "who are you to tell me anything." The second occasion was when the kid behind me aged about 7 or 8 kept talking about the movie and kicking my seat at least 15 times. I asked him to stop many many times and the lady sitting next to him who I assume was his nanny ignored me and stared deeply into her phone. I did not enjoy the movie because of these entitled, wild children with no manners. There were no attendants or security to help maintain a respectable, quiet atmosphere. The parents/nanny had no control or interest in the children under their care. I won't be going back there again.

Really pants experience today. The screen didn't even turn on until about 15 mins after the start time of the film. Then, it turned off during the adverts. There was no communication from staff until two or three members of the audience went to find people. After another 15 mins of a black screen, I left to find a staff member and there was no one around. When I found someone, they were incredibly rude. The film eventually started 40-45 mins after the advertised time, but within 15 mins the screen stopped working again. Again no staff communication, we had to go find someone. Eventually we were all just told to either get a refund or come back to a showing 6 hours later! There was only 1 person on the tills to process the refunds as they seem chronically understaffed. Absolute joke, really. Showcase is a thousand times better.

I just entered room 10 to watch spiderman no way home and i come up to my seats and one of them has mud covered on the seat another has popcorn all over the seat, and the cup holders are filthy with popcorn. This is unacceptable for a high rated cinema to not even have its seats and tables cleaned. I haven't even watched the movie yet and my experience was so bad that if i could i would rate this place a 0 but thats not possible so I rate it a 1. Normally I hate making these types of comments, but this is not acceptable. Edit: the service was amazibg and the cleaner was really nice and gave us complimentary tickets and the chance to move so i make my review higher, but while cleaning another person wanted to borrow the cleaning stuff which isnt a great sine burt overall great experience

Watched a movie in here after some time (6mths) now usually we get a movie in at least once but what with COVID we hadn't have had a chance but the place as a whole complex incl the toilets are clean and well kept, the staff are great and helpful too. The sound and picture quality is brilliant as is the seating which is comfortable. However, food is on the expensive side but what do you expect from a cinema experience! You can take your own food in there as they only do just junk food such as hot dogs and confectionary and hot and cold drinks etc i took a sarnie in as we (me and little man) watched a movie at 12ish lunch booked online to avoid the queues so i wasnt then going to queue up for food. Also its not halal the food they sell here so be aware.

TL;DR: Excellent value for money, very clean and very comfy chairs, screen quality is sometimes lacking, not a luxury experience. Would and will go again. + all the chairs are recliner chairs - the chairs are lined with (faux?) leather, squeaky and sweaty + very clean - but not spotless + great sound quality + great picture quality - but not always, it depends on which screen your movie is shown on - both screens (2 and 12, I think?) had smudges or the edges were distorted(? I don't know how to describe it) - when going to subtitled movies, the ads aren't subtitled and the screen is a smaller one (saw the same movie twice on different screens) - it was quite cold for me (maybe a sex difference, I'm female)

Must say I was abit disappointed with my visit to Vue tonight. Firstly, the two big freezers were turned off, so I couldn't purchase any ice-cream. Then, once the film had started, there was a weird thick band on the top half of the screen through most of the film. I had no idea what it was and didn't want to tell a staff member, as I would've missed parts of the film I was watching. I did think staff were meant to check screens during a screening, but guessing no checks were done tonight. It was most noticeable through darker scenes in the film, to the point of it was incredibly distracting. Also, it was quite cold in the screen for most of the film. So not my favourite visit to Vue in the Leeds Light.

  • Jack Dennis

Used to be a good cinema but started showing films really poorly. I went to see Spiral and walked out of one viewing because the lights were so bright it was casting a heavy shadow on the screen making dark scenes unwatchable. Also, they didn't expand the screen so the film played with black bars which is crazy since you go to the cinema to escape the dreaded black bars. I went to another showing an hour later and had the same problem. Luckily the guys at the desk were nice and refunded my tickets and while I was there I got a refund for all the ones I had booked. Can't believe the price of tickets went up and quality went down. Go to Everyman Leeds if you want a proper cinema experience.

  • Rob Edwards

The seats are comfy and it's nice they recline however they are having a joke with the price of drinks, I expect an uplift in prices when I go to the cinema - however I'm not being funny but £3 a water is insane and taking complete advantage. If coming then bring your own snacks and drinks for sure. They got their £3 this time however I decided against buying nachos, popcorn, fizzy drink, ice drink and possibly a hot dog. As I said I expect some uplift but not to be taken advantage of! Oh and the staff clearly don't want to be at work based on faces and service quality - obviously not paying them the premium you charge for snacks.

  • Saurus

It's a pretty good cinema overall. Whilst I feel like it sometimes has a drop in quality in occasions such as the ticket machines not always working (rare), or screen 12 being by far the lowest quality room to watch a movie in (Far too small, it's like a small lecture room) , everything else is fine. I just feel like it isn't fair if you get put in screen 12 over other screens. It's a bizarre room. I always go here for movies and it does an acceptable job. Prices are as you expect, and the other cinema rooms are as good as any other cinema. Avoid room 12, and you'll have a great experience.

  • Tom

Not for cinephiles but what you'd expect from a big chain. Overpriced popcorn (£6 for the smallest tub) and a £2 charge for 3d glasses (the first pair I was given needed to be changed as one lens had double-vision). Staff aren't particularly proactive (I needed to ask for the house/flood lights to be turned off twice) but I doubt they're paid to be. They are, however, very friendly and helpful in person. Chairs are very comfortable and the tables are a useful feature. I'm a difficult customer and I've been spoilt with premium cinema experience. Most people will love it.

  • wendy linnecor

My son visited yesterday to watch black phone and come home early to tell me he heard a strange noise whilst watching the film when he checked on the wall a baby rat was running across the wall, he did go and speak to a manager who give him a full refund and a complementary ticket to come back any time within the next 12 months to watch another film! The only reason he told me to give 4 stars was because of the manager who dealt with him which he said had really good customer service skills and couldn't apologize enough

  • David Hearn

Why is it always so cold in the auitoriums. We went to the Vue, The Light, Leeds yesterday to see the 2pm showing of Napoleon on screen 7. Really good film. Comfortable seats but the experience was spoilt by what appeared to be no heating on throughout the 2.5 hour length of the film. Looking around most people were wrapped in coats trying to keep warm. I know times are hard and this may be a way of keeping costs down, but it's self defeating as people will think twice about returning to sit in the cold next time.

  • Jonathan Roy Chandler

It's been a while since I've been to this cinema because of the price and what you get for that it. I received an offer and chose to go, I was very pleasantly surprised the chairs have all changed! They have their own individual swivel table and! They now recline!!!. A very much more pleasurable and enjoyable experience whilst watching a movie. No more fighting over the arms, they are wide enough for you two! Good job! Will got back again (when I get another discount or someone else pays)

I bought a ticket for 11:40am on a Wednesday. I had an appointment early afternoon so I had to watch a film only an hour and left the cinema. However I came back to Vue before 4pm which I believe not a peak time. When I asked a favour if I can watch the missing half. But I was rejected by a till operator straight away who served and remembered me. He didn't even check the procedure by a manager. 4 seats out of 5 were empty earlier and there was no queue! I was not happy with the service.

  • K. Peake

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Jackass Forever at this cinema, experiencing the luxury of sitting at a reclining seat with a moveable little table! The movie picture was quality and the area was very clean, with a relaxed atmosphere that rules like turning phones off seemingly contributed to. I was able to go to the toilet shortly afterwards since it is efficiently very close to the cinema; the men's one is easy to find from the large male symbol and it met hygiene standards properly.

  • Vyrna Abu

The place is great! Almost perfect... But unfortunately not. ✔️ Great sound ✔️ Good price ✔️ Easy access ✔️ Super comfy chairs ✔️ Helpful staff Honestly, I would easily give it 5 stars if it weren't for one quite annoying issue... Someone was smoking next to me during the whole movie. I know it's not the cinema's fault, but it could have more control. It was really bad Still a great cinema! And I definitely recommend as it was just a bad experience.

  • Matt Devney

No-one talked? No-one talked! I can't believe it. It's a miracle. After 3 consecutive visits to the Halifax Vue where all of the films were ruined by idiots who were obviously bored but had nothing else to do, it's very refreshing to actually be allowed to enjoy a film for once. The reclining seats are very very comfortable too. Only docking a star because the screen was small, but the film had been out a while, so not exactly a surprise.

  • Marcin Siwicki

Vue in The Light is a cinema located in the heart of Leeds city center. It is a modern cinema with a wide range of facilities, including comfortable seating, a large IMAX screen, and a bar and restaurant. The cinema is located in The Light shopping center, which is a popular destination for shopping and dining in Leeds. The cinema is easily accessible by public transportation, and there is also a large car park available.

  • Olivia Black

A cinema is a cinema at the end of the day, sound a video quality is good snacks were fine, nothing special, the colour scheme is horrendous so luckily the lights get turned off. The table next to the seats makes no sense, it's a wooden plank with two small holes in it??? So no cup holders. Toilets are inconvenient, 3 in total and no toilet paper.Overall no awful, watch Halloween Kills and left halfway through.

  • Alexandra Dimogianni

Went to see barbie last night, people sitting at the last row (as were we)started running out of the cinema and they told us that the reason is that there was a rat on the wall. We went out and spoke to a member of the staff who said that they would deal with it, even though we found seats on the first row supposedly away from the rat no one from the vue the light came in the room or did anything. Beyond shocked

  • Ben

Not too bad for a cinema, but they don't turn the lights off during the film so you can't see anything other than the lights in the dark scenes. They also don't do NHS discount like other VUE cinemas for some reason. I also never understand why they try to make you sit through loads of ads and trailers when you're paying quite a lot to be there, but that's an illogical aspect of most cinemas.

  • Mo Bellamy

Outstanding establishment. The seats, sound and the lighting are on point. Its clean, organised and well taken care of. Visited over 100 times throughout the years and every time it had been great. Nice team staff. Toilets are clean. It’s very easy process to buy a ticket online or in person. Variety selection of snacks, drinks and ice creams. Highly recommend visiting.

  • Sophie Cater Emery

Myself and my boyfriend went to see Halloween Kills last night such a brilliant film. A definite must see if your a Halloween fan like me. The Vue in The Light Leeds is a fantastic cinema. Great comfy reclining seats, amazing sound and screen you really feel your in the film. Fantastic staff and refreshments good facilities. Highly recommend both the movie and cinema.

  • R R (Rex)

The seats are good, they are all recliners now with individual tables to put things on. The whole experience is let down by the price they charge to food. I would cheerfully buy food and drinks, it would make the whole experience better but not at those prices. They would make more money if they lowered them, I am sure people would buy more and return more often.

  • Jolandi Hanekom

Extra time? Why not use it to go see a movie? Slightly pricey to eat and drink but worth the overall experience. I ordered a hot dog but they were busy making a fresh bunch and offered to bring it to me in the movie ☺️ and so they did. Usually get the VIP seats and it's worth paying that bit extra for more comfort but the general seatings are just fine as well.

  • Dazneyland

Not to stereotype people into what films they would watch. But we had a senior woman, who bought the aisle seat next to us. Slept and snores loudly throughout the entire film. Then the screen had a thick blue line from top to bottom that was very distracting whilst trying to watch Dungeons and Dragons. Definitely needs a bit of TLC and refurb

  • S Chambers

Average The seats themselves are comfortable, AV & price decent BUT the screens are so big, unless you’re in in the centre aisle or far enough back in the premium seats, the sides are are such an angle I won’t be buying those tickets again. Centre or don’t bother, you’ll be craning your head for 2 hours. Toilets are definitely below average.

  • Clarena Amatha

Easily accessible cinema. Right at Leeds City centre. Standard and plenty screens with comfortable seats. Suitable for all ages. First time watched Blank Panther 2D and second time watched Avatar 3D. I loved the whole experience. Very friendly staff. Yeah, and be sure to grab something to eat and drink, cause you'll need it. Enjoy!

  • Briony Taylor

If I could give 0 I would. Came for the 9:30pm viewing of everything everywhere, sat down 5 mins before start time and saw a baby rat run down the side of the seating area by the wall. Throughout the film we then endured lots of scuttling and squeaking from rats behind and underneath our seats. Couldn't relax, absolutely disgusting

  • C West

The large salt popcorn was terrible - I think they must have forgotten to add the salt, because it tasted like I was eating polystyrene. To say that we're already getting ripped off on the price, plus they've reduced the box size to what was considered small years ago and I left with a disappointing trip to the cinema

  • Jordan Dean Small

December 2019 Update: The Recliner seats make the cinema even more essential. Comfy isn't the word! Brilliant view whether close to the screen or right at the back ☺. Only minus point is the air con which is a little too cold, wish it was an automatic system that varied due to audience numbers (if that exists ha)

  • kath munro

The most incredible movie theater. I've watched several movies here now and the seats and floors are always spotless, the recliner chairs and moving tables are a treat, and as for the MONSTROUS screen, it is the ultimate movie experience. You can also bring your own snacks in or get from the booth.

  • Geoff Kendall

Signage is poor - we had to ask where the toilets were despite starting from the main entrance lobby. A fine cinema experience at an affordable price, which is the main thing. Facilities are very good, if not up to Everyman standard. Well-mannered staff. Overall, almost five stars and good value.

  • Trawler

I've been here three times, everything is fine, but as always, the food in the cinema is much more expensive :( Also everytime they include almost half an hour of commercials, it's a bit too much bcs they include it not before the screening, but when the time of the movie is already indicated

  • Duncan Brier

Great pricing for a cinema. Food not too bad either. Good sound and decent seating. (I'm not a fan of the new fangled reclining sofas and bed like seating that you find in some other cinemas ) you won't watch a movie for cheaper. Although the leather spacious seats are an additional cost.

  • Richard Holmes

Went to see Captain Marvel. Great film and nice addition to the Marvel Universe. Great price at only £4.99 or £2 extra for the VIP seats. I did pay for VIP so you get extra legroom, a wider seat, wider arm rests, and a great view of the screen. Would go again whilst I'm stopping in Leeds.

  • Joe Chapman

The cinema is always tidy and clean. Snacks are expensive, but that's pretty much to be expected. The first three rows of seats are far too close to the screen, to the point the whole screen is not visible. Sound level is comfortable; never too loud it quiet and without too much bass.

  • fat tony

Nothing wrong with the cinema itself but my problem is with the people that go here. I used to enjoy this Vue but my 2 most recent visits have been made sour by audience members constantly talking throughout the film. It's honestly baffling. Vue need to do more to prevent this.

  • Liam Watson

Saw the recent spider verse saga here last night, whowever set the room didnt turn the lights all the way down and didnt turn the Volume up. the whole film was very quiet untill i told a satff memeber. this has happened a few times now and for that reason i wont be returning!

  • Soumyashree Nayak

The Screen 4 has a visual issue (I don't know the exact name of that problem/issues). There is a yellow spot or light effect at the middle of the screen which leads to an uneven visualization error. We went to watch the 'Adipurush' and noticed this issue. Kindly fix this.

  • Soumyashree Nayak

The Screen 4 has a screen issue (I don't know the exact name of that problem). There is a yellow spot or light effect at the middle of the screen which leads to uneven screen color. We went to watch 'Adipurush' on June 18 and faced this visual error. Kindly fix that.

  • Adwa

+The staff was friendly, the prices are good. Last time they run out of coffee cups and they canceled my order, which was weird because we were still in the middle of the day! - I tried multiple screens and they all feels like there are no ventilation in the room !!

  • Scott Bartle

My television has a way better picture than screen 6, which has poor shadow detail. However, the sound was brilliant. I think the main reason I go to the cinema is because it's something to do with my partner and you can't get Cherry Garcia in shops anymore.

  • LES

Normally a lovely place to visit. I went yesterday afternoon with my son. It was 2 degrees in Leeds. The room didn't appear to have any heating, and was freezing cold. We sat with our coats, hats, and gloves on. I doubt we will visit again in this weather.

  • Rushaun Mcintosh

Always a pleasant experience at the Vue cinemas in leeds. The only thing id say is a set back for me is the fact the price of everything has gone up significantly such as the cinema tickets. But overall a brilliant cinema to visit with friendly service.

  • Janet Meldrum

The lay out inside each cinema has changed, all seats recline. Unfortunately we had to move as my friend's seat was broken. We wanted a coffee to take in but was told non of their coffee machines were working. Despite these setbacks we enjoyed the film

  • Tracie Hughes

I'm trying to call for some info on some vouchers I have which aren't working, it's an automated service which obviously can't understand what I want to do so the phone keeps hanging up. How on earth are we supposed to speak to someone for help?

  • Kirste Gregory

Easy experience, bought tickets online so no queueing for those. A bit of a queue for popcorn but only a few minutes until served. Very comfortable seats that are a good size and recline. Great affordable experience compared to many others.

  • Kate Williams

Been pretty happy overall each time I've visited this cinema so far friendly, helpful staff though they could try not suggesting I go large on snack sizes I am sure about my decisions so would appreciate the cutback on sales pushing …

  • Lord Matthew Abuga Soulsby

First Vue cinema I've been to in years and it did not disappoint! Staff were lovely, ticket prices were so cheap and the seats were so comfy, also recliners! They should do a limitless like offer similar to Odeon and Cineworld.

  • radiaterii

Sadly, the customer service was poor and unhelpful when asking for a photo of ID we gave him it and he then changed his story saying he needed it in person. We spoke to the manager and he was so helpful in getting our tickets.

  • Negan (Negan)

We always go to this cinema, it's always clean and reasonably prices for tickets, a bonus as well that you're allowed to take in your own drinks and snacks. Toilets are clean as well and there's always soap to wash your hands.

  • Janice Clare

1st time at the Vue Cinema in Leeds and I am impressed with the customer service, the cleanliness, the screen. Loved the recliner seats made the Cinema experience better. Will definitely be going back again when I'm in Leeds.

  • User 989

Came on Thursday and was served by Tal ( I think that was her name). She was so lovely and accommodating and got my order perfect!! Best customer service I’ve received here even though the interaction was so short and quick!

  • Salmah Walwyn

Lovely atmosphere to watch movies and bring the kids snacks are absolutely delicious my favourite is Nachos cause they’re authentic Mexican Nachos just how they supposed to be and the drinks are delicious really recommended!

  • Cédric Beaume

Very comfortable seats. Probably the most comfortable theater I have ever attended. However, it is repeatedly insanely loud. They must not have a Health & Safety Department on par with those that the UK prides itself upon.

  • Ren Retso

The food and drink cost a fair bit and the toilet was overflowing, but the seats were fantastic, the popcorn was tasty and the staff were very helpful! Worth it if you're looking for a specific film to watch in the cinema

  • Simon Rodgers

Vue staff at The Light have always been warm And friendly to me. The place is always immaculate and films always on time. Seating now after a huge investments is luxurious and well worth a visit. Best wishes Simon R !

  • MrMR81

Great value, modern cinema within THE LIGHT, LEEDS. Comfy electric recliner seats with table. Watched new James bond, Excellent screen and sound. First cinema experience since COVID19. All good, clean and tidy......

  • Jaison Joseph Kallarakavunkal

One of the best theatres and movie experience I've had. Definitely recommend and will go again. The audio and visual quality is amazing. Great snacks and drinks as well. Friendly staff. Comfy recliner seats. …

  • My Two Pence

I ADORED this cinema. It was more than just kickin' back and watching a movie. This was a cinematic experience I shan't forget, the seats reclined which was a nice twist on the traditional non reclining seat.

  • Rory Mcgregor

Poor service. The person in front of me had ordered some nachos and the server sottd in front of her holding them and chatting to her colleague. The staff just behave as if they couldn't care less

  • Adam “adfag, queenie, baj” Rider

£13.00 for a hot dog and nachos with cheese on the side u have to pay extra for cheese over the nachos.. Worse thing was I wasn't told about the combo offer (main, drink, sweets) which was £13.99

  • Teddane Parkinson

First time going as I don’t live in Doncaster paid for vip seat and they don’t even recline. The cashier gave us the 2 seats directly in front of two people when there were 8 ppl in the movie.

  • Chris

£6 for a hot dog! £6 for popcorn. £6 for a slush :/ £6 for my ticket. I ain’t cheap, but jeeeeeze that’s steep. Cinema was nice though, great seats, great screens and audio, nice and clean.

  • Waqar Ahmed

Great place to enjoy a movie!!! 1. Reasonable price 2. All recliner seats 3. Full quality screen with good sound 4. Ambience 5. Quiet environment to enjoy a movie with full concentration.

  • Tony Right

Love that Vue. Recliner seats are great. Lines for popcorn are quick. Meal deals are expensive as always, never will get used to nachos, coke and snack costing more than two tickets.

  • Andrei Marius Marmureanu

Perfect cinema in city center , not expensive at all and with some good recliners now . Would recommend it and would definitely go again . But many times I encounter the same issue.

  • Stewart Wilson

If you haven't been before it's a little confusing where to show your QR code. Overall nice experience, go at quiet time, and remember adverts last half an hour before film starts.

  • Dr. Khalid Alshamsi

A movie theater in the heart of Leeds City Centre. Big screens and Comfortable seats. The staff tries their best to make their customers have memorable experiences in the theatre.

  • Gordon Tomlinson

Cinema nice, staff friendly, all seats reclining. Advise you don't buy popcorn, smallest was £6.50 and it was horrible, not sure how you mess up popcorn, but they managed it.

  • Timothy Beardwood

As a regular visitor and have visited many local cinemas, I would say the light is by far the best. Its an ideal location perfect for people who work in the city centre

  • Jason Hixon

Only gave the low score cos of staff shortages on the tills serving us. Need better deaf awareness as some of them talk like Muppets after we explained we can lipread.

  • ABROCHI CHRISTIAN ASOGWA

It was an awesome experience, the cinema rooms are wonderful wasn't crowded and the staff are very supportive with good parking spaces with adequate security available

  • Márcio Félix

Room 6 projector has burn in marks with a visible green tint on the right side of the screen. And to help that, they didnt even turn off the lights during the movie..

  • Andy Teasdale

Great place to watch movies, have been going here for years and it’s always upheld a certain standard with servers, refreshments and cleanliness. Highly recommend!

  • Robbie McDonald

Would be 5 stars except for the fact that it seems every screen I go to has broken lights. And despite informing the staff there, they never seem to fix anything.

  • Duncan

It's a cinema, reclining seats which is good, but how cold? For the better part of a tenner a ticket I don't expect to have to wear a coat and hat! …

  • Aaron Aznar

Pretty quiet which made the experience even better. Friendly staff, clean premises. Reclinable seat for £6.99, definitely good value. Pop corn a bit off.

  • Sonia Doran

We always use the Vue cinema in the light Easy acceptable by bus, Staff are friendly and polite and always helpful. My children love the reclining seats

  • Joseph Smith

Amazing cinematic experience! Reclining seats to add that extra bit of comfort. The only down side is the extortionate prices for food and drinks.

  • Megan Gampell

Saw Miles Morales and the speakers weren’t working and the lights were left on. When I told the staff I was told there was nothing they could do

As we sat down in screen 6 we saw what we thought was rats when informed staff we got told “it’s not rats it’s mice and we have an infestation”

  • Edd Almond

Comfy seats, good range of films (especially during Leeds International Film Festival) and plenty of snacks and sweets on offer in the foyer.

  • Scott Woolrich

Nothing wrong with the place the seats are comfy and the place is clean it’s just the prices of food and drink that puts me off if I’m honest

  • khalid gharib

Nice cinema and nice staff but the food is a bit expensive [12£] you pay more for popcorn and a drink than the ticket itself

  • Jamie Johnson

Comfy seats, they recline. Would suggest to go and watch a movie here as you don't get uncomfortable as seats are uncomfy

  • Ayse Atalay

Really nice and giant! Has a Coca Cola machine that you see with the screen so good and looks like a traditional theatre

  • tisugga

waiting times for food are a bit long. went to watch the barbie movie and it was so horribly humid inside the theatre.

  • Adam Gotfree

Great venue, easy access, clean facilities, amazing recliners, magnificent screen, lovely lady at the check-in

  • Liam Humphrey

Comfy and large seats. Clean. Friendly staff. Popcorn and snacks is expensive, but that is to be expected.

  • Kolluri Surya

Sound system in Vue ruins the magic of the movie! Such a disappointing experience for Jawan (Indian Movie)

  • Onyinye Ochugbua

I enjoy going to see movies here.... they have professional staff both at The Light and at Cardigan fields

  • maxwell chikasha

A seren environment with very nice services. Idle place for wheelchair users as well. A must visit cinema

  • Shane Norris

Great Cinema, although expensive food and drink. But you're allowed to take your own so it's not all bad.

  • David Clough

Great easy cinema experience… but the sweets are insanely expensive £3.75 for a £1 packet of sweet …

  • Dawn Turner
