Anyone who has given this place 5 stars either works there or has friends/family members that do. I went in 30 min before closing time and I kid you not every employee that came up to me said just to let you know we close very soon. I’m like and your point is ? Hell even the GM of that store was telling me it’s almost time so get ready to go. I’m a shopper that has plenty of money that I can spend somewhere else. Anyways every damn shoe I asked for a size, the associate would say this is our last pair..oh and they would say we only have a size 9 and 11...seriously go look in the back first before you tell someone you don’t have it. I’m sure you can’t remember ever shoe you have in stock lol. Guys I’m telling you they don’t go look in the back and they’ll tell oh it’s the last pair. All these employees that work here I feel bad for them. I understand retail sucks and all you know is shoes but c’mon get some better training. If you guys are commission based let the customers stay in the store past closing time. Make that extra money so you can pay to better your education instead of doing a job you hate. I will repost this to every social media website I know and I will report to the better business bureau that Foot Locker needs new management in this store. Everyone that reads this stay away you can get better service somewhere else and if you’re in a hurry and you wear a size 9 or 11 you’ll get your shoes quickly lol because that’s all they have. Placed order online . The girls in the store seemed to know nothing about the order , were rude and unwilling to make the effort to dig deeper without being clearly pushed to do it. Even assured me i made a stupid choice to order them and I got no receipt. Very uncool and unprofessional. More interested in chatting with other employees it seemed . Wasn't greeted , if I hadn't insisted on someone doing something, I would have waited 5 days or so she said was the mandatory wait time when online ordering . Which obviously was not the case when on my order it was clear that I would be able to pick them up in the store same day. Not a good experience ordering online and wouldn't do it again.

Number one, as I walked in I was never acknowledged by any of the associates. As I walked in with some new adidas on my feet and with the new box on my hands with my old shoes inside from where I bought at journeys!! With the receipt..Surely after I was HARASSED by several associates if I had tried the shoes I had on, when they SAW me walk in!!! and they still harassed ME in-front of everyone by communicating with other associates over their walkie talkies that I was stealing and to watch out!! I was emotional distressed after, knowing they ruined my reputation and my personality just because they ASSUMED I was stealing. I walked out EMBARRASSED!!!! Everyone staring!!..

My boyfriend was shopping at this foot locker today right after he got off work, and got stereotyped by the manager. They kept following him around and and asked him if he wanted his things to be held at the front, kept watching him and were over all making him v feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Anyone who works or has worked retail knows you’re taught that if you suspect someone of stealing you give them excellent customer service, ask them if they need their items held up front etc. but for them to assume that he was going to steal just because he didn’t look put together because he literally just got off work was foul on their part.

The name is derived from the fact that they are typically placed at the foot of a soldier's bunk or bed. The term "footlocker" is currently used in recruit training in the Marine Corps. Although it is more fun to picture a locker room full of detached feet. All that aside, the aforementioned store does sell stylish sneakers despite the name attempting to throw you off.

Straight trash customer service. The two employees that were there on 1/1/23 45 minutes before closing had footlocker miss out on a guaranteed sale. I’m standing in there and I pick up a shoe, one guy walks less than two feet from me without even acknowledging I’m standing there holding a shoe. As I picked up the shoe and started my sentence they both (standing less than five feet from me) helped the same customer. I put the Airmax 90’s down and walked out. I won’t be going to this establishment again. Customer service was absolutely egregious!

I do agree with the other reviews when I call it's the worst, buts it's like that for alot of the footlockers I have called in San Diego. Jeff in mission valley wasn't that good.Felix I think his name was also in MV was real helpful and honest, personal, real. Carlsbad was the best for me super helpful over phone and in store I wish I knew the younger guys name really helpful and he sure did know how to up sale Then again I am just there to get my shoes and bounce

Great visit! Walked in and in typical foot locker fashion was immediately greeted and helped by a young man in there whose name I can't remember. He worked toward the back of the store where the jerseys are and where the Foams, KDs and Zoom Freaks sit. Anyway, he helped me find an awesome Russell Westbrook "Why Not" apparel item. Cashier rung me up and I was able to use my military discount. Make sure you have your id. Overall great visit and I will come back.

Everytime i come in here or call i get the worst customer service. Everyone acts like they are better than you. No one is helpful with info over the phone. Just overall bad experience everytime. Is it possible to get people who like selling shoes. Everyone who works here just seems to hate their job or customers. Either way i will never go into the store ever again. I will only go into other retailers and pay $10 more per shoe to not deal with lazy rude people

It is that typical of the circumstances, 2 days before Christmas.. as everyone had everything with 'em in the line as if ALL of the store's stock had been in a lilfrenzyforthelastthingsthatwereleftoutingrabs reach. It was all in a 'counting down 'til shelves emptyed' as my Dad & I left even as we had left the place, the crowd had to us seemingly appeared to have gotten bigger than it had been when we had first started our scouting. Craziness I say!!

Hey the manager at this store has no professional manners at all. Every other Footlocker honors veteran/military discounts and it's okay that I don't get discounts as a veteran at every store, but if a store is going to offer it, then I'll take it. Footlocker offers veteran/military discounts but this manager apparently doesn't honor the discounts and he was very rude about it. His name is Robert and he's a real piece of work. Enjoy!

I called fashion valley store to see if they had a shoe in stock. Someone picked up phone twice and hung up. I called back and a Rob answered i told him about the hang up and he responded with a smart ass response. Then after he checked for the shoes he told me both were not in stock and his rude ass hung up before i could even ask for another shoe. Hire people with customer service skills and who like thier jobs!!!!

Was in the store a good 20 30 minutes, never got greeted or asked if I needed help. The Store Manager didn’t even say anything, he was to busy flirting with co-workers. I had my family to and none of them got greeted or asked if they needed help, Horrible customer service. Product selection very limited, hardly any Nike or Jordan. Might as well just order online and save your self the trip/time.

Worst Customer Service on the phone quite possibly in the universe. I have bought over 10 pairs of shoes from this Footlocker location this year, and they wont pick up the phone. Its a extra nice touch that the staff keeps picking up then, hanging up the phone. I have tried 6 times now, its 3:20 pm on a Tuesday. They defiantly don't got the club going up.

I wanted to go in yesterday without knowing they close at 8pm since the mall closes at 9 .. bu this light skin girl w curly hair was really rude about the store being closed like all she could’ve said was they’re close but as I was waking away she gave me a peace sign and said “byee” and started laughing .. what kind of customer service is that?

I was so annoyed. They don't let you hold the shoes in line to pay, they have such an annoying system where they put them on the counter and I paid $86 and they gave me the wrong sized shoes. Their over the phone customer service is the shittiest thing ever I'm so absolutely annoyed.

Website says they close at 9pm. Showed up an hour prior and employees said no one else can come in, but we visibly saw people in the store. Employees are lazy and rude. Will not be returning to any footlocker anywhere. Employees Mouthed off to several customers outside the store.

Everyone at this location is friendly and helpful. Extremely nice and they want you to leave with what you want . Jacob and davion were so helpful and kind . I honestly has the best experience here . The whole store has a good vibe and they are all sweethearts

I came in here today. Some of the BEST customer service from Berekley and Jacky. Berkeley found me an amazing deal on Nike's and Jacky was really friendly and polite at the check out. If I lived here, I'd come back to this store all the time.

The customer service at this location is on point. They also have a very nice layout with lots of convenience for trying on shoes. Which means plenty kine space to roam around, and ample seating for trying on the shoes before you buy them!
