Worst Customer Service. I have been shopping from this store for the last 10 years. I don't know what has happened but this year I have had more 5 bad customer experience. 1. Bought a shoes that I wanted very much, and cashier failed to check the box which had a pair of exact same feet. I have returned after 3 months 2. Two weeks ago I went back there to buy running shoes. The cashier forgot to remove the security tag. I went another store and asked them to remove and manager of that store implied that I might have stolen the shoes. 3. I had 33% off coupon and gave it to the cashier, she didn't give me the discount. I have failed to double check and just paid the full charge. 4. Two days ago, me and my wife went there to buy another running shoes for my wife. They couldn' t accept the credit on that day for some technical issue. I asked them to keep the shoes for until tomorrow evening. I went back there the next day and the shoes was not there...SOLD! 5. Called customer service and they have promised someone would call me back...but no call yet. May be, in their customer service guidance document, I don' t deserve a world class customer service experience.

I agree and support the reviews left by J Laframboise and Alice Channel. The management staff desperately need to have a workshop or session on how to treat customers in a professional way. The employee's at this location are very young and greatly lack basic respect. I too had a altercation earlier today where a salesgirl asked me very curtly and rudely to sanitize my hands. When I turned to go back to the station another employee popped out of nowhere and accused me of not sanitizing! I was shocked, as both girls looked no more than 20 yrs. No consideration of the tone and delivery of their message. Needless to say, I spoke my mind to her and walked right out of the store. Customer service is important. Treating people with respect is important. As a small buisness owner, I know how vital building relationships are and I will not spend my money in a store where I am not treated with basic decency. Those two girls need to be spoken to, it was embarrassing. I will definitely be contacting the district manager and filing a formal complaint.

Globo carry some fine boots for both men and women. Online purchasing is easy but returning shoes is a problem for some of us. I find that their summer shoes varies in sizes. Some shoes are 2 sizes smaller than the regular sizes, and must be returned. Returning shoes to global stores can also be a problem. Globo has 2 store locations in Ottawa, both in the west end. Their locations are inconvenient and time consuming to get there by public transportation. Providing an online link to download a return label is not the best solution, because some of us do not have a printer at home. Apart from a printer, one would need to have ink in the printer, and paper to print their return label. Including a return slip in the shipment can help buyers return shoes that are much smaller than their actual size without the hassles of getting a printer to print the return label or to waste time and money to go to Globo's store location (taking a taxi to get there cost $26 one way). I did not give 5 stars because I found the return process a problem.

Nice shoes and I've been their customer for years, but at the cash they ask a lot of your personal information which is not necessarily needed. I don't understand why they need my name, home address, phone number, email address, postal code, ... just for a simple RETURN, when they have my receipt in front of them It's not acceptable for me. Even if they want me to VOLUNTARILY share my personal info, they must let me know in advance, how my info will be used and who it will be shared with, and seek my consent before proceeding to collect my personal info.

I’ve been to Globo Shoes today. As soon as I entered the store, a saleswoman asked me to sanitize my hands in a blunt way. I had sanitized my hands minutes before, however, she didn’t look convinced (?!) She was rather rude. Then she said I shouldn’t touch any of the shoes boxes (as if I wanted to!) and once again, using a terrible tone of voice. I remained there for 3 minutes getting a look at the shoes but a salesman kept staring at me as if I was doing something wrong. I am never going back there again.

Had a difficult time yesterday trying to get shoes for my daughter who is 2.. I had to chase down someone a few times to get sizes...had to go find someone at the front...the store was not busy, no need for the two girls to both be up at the front cash. It is hard enough shopping with a toddler and to have poor customer service on top of it made me even more frustrated..

I was shipped a shoe that was way too small. 1 was size 4 (correct) and 1 was size 13 (incorrect). I waited hours on hold to get a hold of no one. I emailed and never heard back. This is the companies error and I’m trying to correct it before we return to school. I shouldn’t have to pay again for shipping to get the correct shoe.

I came into the store to pick up an online order and the process was quick and efficient. A sweet associate by the name of Akisha assisted me and also helped me with some questions about returning a previous purchase. Even though the store was very busy, she was kind enough to help me out and definitely went above and beyond.

False advertising. Came from far and when I got there I asked for a pair of boots that was advertised but they don't carry it. Also I have to look around for sales people and saw them all at the front cashier chit chatting.

Lots of different types of shoes in different sizes. I wear a size 11 and although I don't always find my size in shoe stores, I was able to get a wonderful pair of boots here. Polite staff and pretty okay prices.

Sales representatives careless, they are not able to assist the customers. Stock and prices have nothing to do with their website info. Strongly recommend to buy online only, store visit is just time waste.

So helpful! Shopping for sandals in the winter, the girl went in the storage room to find me all the pairs that I might like. Afterwards, I bought one of the pairs for half off. Great customer service!
