It pains me to rate this low, but I felt incredibly ripped off walking out of here. First, let me preface that all the staff that were here, were very kind, and I had no issue with service per say. I called ahead of time to confirm what the price was $10/person/hour. When I went in I double-checked and was again told it was $10/hour/person. I decided to eat first, and there was no issue with the food - it was good and you get a fair portion. Alcoholic beverages are priced okay too, but a jug of juice was $30. Juice. Just juice. When we were brought down to our room, after it had been set up for us, I again triple checked the price, to which there was a reply of "yes, it's $10/hour/person.. plus an additional $35 room fee". I should have walked out there, but considering I planned on staying for a few hours, I just wanted to continue on with my night. I saw other reviews saying the navigation for the system was confusing and assumed these people must not have been tech savvy. I was terribly wrong, and while song choices were limited, we weren't even able to search for songs or artists and had to scroll through 2000 pages in non-alphabetical order. After 20 minutes I had asked for assistance and the staff member wasn't able to figure out how to search for artists either and had just told me the search function doesn't work. I had mentioned that some reviews say that we could connect our phone, or go onto YouTube - to which I was told the app and that function doesn't work anymore. So we disappointingly stayed for the remaining hour and left with a $60 bill for 2 people for 1 hour for the karaoke portion alone (because they also included an automatic gratuity fee) Additionally the drinks we ordered from the front never came. I would never go back.

Had my birthday there and it was amazing. We got the king sized room and it was very nice! Prices for food and bottles were okay, other drinks like juice / soda was really overpriced but that is go be expected at a place like this. The room itself was very nice, music quality was good, and shot presentation was very cute as it came out in this heart carousel that lit up! Only complaint was that the system is VERY confusing to navigate. Luckily I had friends that have been there before, you have to search by the first letter of the artist/song. (IE: Taylor Swift you just type TS). It just doesn’t show up in alphabetical order which made it hard. The selection was okay, wish they had more mainstream songs. You can connect your phone but the lyrics don’t show up on the screen which sucks. Overall, staff was very nice and accommodating throughout our stay. We booked for 10:30 and stayed till 3 which just shows how much of a god time we had!

I was craving for some Beef Chow Mein, while watching the CFL, Hamilton Ti-Cats. Never heard of this place, I ordered off “Skip the Dishes” through this restaurant. I only ordered a small order-1 Beef Chow Mein and 1 order of Breaded chicken wings. I applied a generous gratuity for the driver, only for him to hit he’s arrived? On my notice of delivery, he wouldn’t bring food up to apartment and drop as requested on delivery instructions. Wife had to go downstairs to pick it up. Diver said they don’t go up and deliver because of COVID, put on a bloody mask! Food came WRONG food, had Beef Lo Mein NOT Chow Mein. There’s a huge difference, I don’t like Lo Mein, it was all small noodles with bits of beef and veggies on top. Wasn’t impressed at all, the wings were OK, better the next day. I guess I’ll look else where for Chinese food, (and pick it up myself) if they don’t want to do the job, don’t do it. I’ve had all other “Skip” drivers come up to the door.

Went for karaoke, and within the first 10 minutes, my girlfriend put her hand on the couch we were sitting on and sliced her finger wide open on a piece of broken glass from a beer bottle that hadn't been cleaned up before we got there. Luckily it wasn't serious. The karaoke selection was also the worst I've ever seen. The search engine didn't work, and almost every popular song we wanted to sing, they didn't have in their database. For example, we wanted to sing Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns n Roses and the only Guns n Roses song they had was November Rain... really? It took us 8 minutes to find Guns n Roses in their database, too. Like, it just WAS NOT user friendly. Just really bad overall, which is a shame because I got recommended here by a few friends.

A friend and I went here for karaoke on the spur of the moment late on a Friday night. I had no idea what we were getting into as we were led down into the basement and then back upstairs through a closed restaurant up to a private karaoke room. It was eerily quiet and felt like an episode of CSI until we got into the room which was funky and included a private, clean bathroom. Had some trouble navigating the song search engine and didn't find a lot of classic karaoke songs in English. Ended up drinking overpriced Heinekens until we ran out of Alanis Morisette songs. We did have a lot of fun though and would recommend for a larger group than two. The group next door was having A LOT of fun while we were just trying to find good songs.The price was reasonable and would definitely consider doing it again.

Pretty good kareoke spot - the rooms are spacious and comfortable, but they are certainly not soundproof if that's a concern for you. Food was okay - just your standard fare American Chinese food. Biggest thing that could be improved and that we found a little frustrating was the kareoke system. The tablet on the wall used a rather confusing international system and it was only until one of the staff showed us that we could use it. The search system has to use the "tablet keyboard" for the search function to work. Not a huge issue, but not intuitive. It was fine after that, decent selection of songs.

They charge u $7 for a coke in can drink. Everything was overpriced and they charge u $10 per head/hr even though ur a group. They even include a 15% tip even though they literally did nothing, we didn’t even order anything. The place was creepy, staffs are not well behaved. The karaoke machine doesn’t even offer variety of musics, it’s more on chinese. This place doesn’t deserve any star. This is a disclaimer, it’s not worth ur money. I had a really bad experience with the place and it’s my first and last time I’m visiting this fvking place.

Decent Chinese food at a good price and they have portions that are usually large size. my only gripe with this place is that they are very inconsistent with the amount of sauce that they put in their place I have ordered the Szechuan chicken three times and I have had it completely dry, swimming in sauce and in between. I'm not sure what this means but they all had a decent flavour either way so I didn't complain too much. however I did have one very bad black bean sauce which is the reason why I have to take away a star

We had a great time, and it was reasonably priced for the room comparatively. However it was dirty (the bathroom was disgusting), the drinks were expensive and so poorly made that it’s better to buy a bottle of booze and to take shots, and I wouldn’t trust their kitchen. There was no explanation provided about how to use the system, the selection of music was odd, and the batteries were dead in the microphones. If there’s another kareoke place in town, I’d go there.

I would never order here ever again. This was the worst Korean food I’ve ever had. In fact you can say the worst food I’ve had in hamilton. The picture of the rice is there to show you it was hard as a rock. I’ve never had rice I can’t bite through. The chicken is dry and hard. Where is the sauce. ? The beef has no flavour. And was tough The only thing that was edible was the fried egg.

I would never recommend anyone to go there. In the beginning they said $10 per hrs per person, not talking about an GROUP but per PERSON and we chose that one and stayed for 3 hrs but they charged us $61 each with no explanation. Also the food is ridiculously expensive and it’s not even worth the price. The system was weird, it’s in Chinese and we couldn’t find songs except some English songs. Worst experience ever

We went here for a family birthday dinner. We chose the $300 pack with unlimited drinks and food, capped at $300, if you go above there’s a charge extra. Unlimited hour of singing. There was five of us, the room was pretty spacious, the staff were nice and food was okay. There’s nothing like this in Hamilton, none so far that I know of.

We booked a birthday celebration at the Grand, but was disappointed to find it closed despite my booking a private lounge. Our party had to go to another venue for dinner, and Simon, the manager contacted me about our return. I requested a discount for our inconveniences and we returned for 1 hour for karaoke. The rooms are spacious with private washroom and the English song selections were reasonable. Our group had a good time. I may return.

This is by far the best karaoke in Hamilton. The cleanest most polite karaoke bar. Private rooms that are very posh with your own water closet. This maybe the best karaoke in Ontario. I had such a blast with my friends. The staff was so helpful and the service was excellent. If you have your own karaoke ap you can hook up to the tv and the songs selection is endless. You can also just YouTube karaoke songs. It’s 100% worth it!

Just horrible undercooked raw chicken wings ordered chow mein received noodles. Ordered pepper steak all liquid with a few small pieces looked like soup. Rice cold as well as vegetables. Threw the entire order out was so disgusted and when I called the staff or owner hung up on me I'll never order from there again and I hope no one else does.

I was drawn to this place because of all the positive reviews which is now so puzzling to me. Ordered boneless chicken pieces as pictured and was given soggy chicken wings? I got the chicken balls and there is very little chicken piece inside. Wonton taste terrible. I spent just under $60 and felt massively ripped off. Food tastes cheap and unappetizing. Beware.

Went once and will not be returning. Room quality and song library are good. Everything else is not. Search system is worse than awful EVEN IF YOU KNOW CHINESE. You will have at least one person permanently looking for songs all night. Ridiculously overpriced too. They give zero service, then don't tell you tip is applied automatically. Shady business practices and cannot recommend.

This place is called China Heat on Uber Eats, they have amazing food! I feel like its a great middle point between Canadian Chinese take out vs place like Mr.Gaos. They do deliver directly if you call them, you can save them some fees if you wanted. MY FAVE so far is chilli chicken gravy and brocolli in garlic sauce. The chicken wings were more like spicy fried chicken.

Surprisingly good food for a karaoke bar. On the slightly more expensive side for portion size. Tastes were on point, slightly on the lighter side for Chinese food (which can be good). The taste is very clean and there's no cross contamination as sometimes happens. Their spicy crawfish was excellent. Special fried rice was quite good. 唱歌的房间很不错。干净，不贵，歌选多。

Their rooms are big, nice, modern, high quality and clean. The service was great with their servers refilling your water every time they had a chance. Music video was the actual music video of the song instead of some random cheesy acting playing in the background. Overall, my friends and I had a great time here and would definitely come here again. 5/5.

I want to live here it's so beautiful. One big problem - the list of English songs is very small and MANY popular karaoke songs were not there. Please add more english karaoke songs and please find a way to turn down the microphone volume. I'll still be back even if you don't do these things, but it will make the experience so much more enjoyable!

edit: ordered from here 3-4 months later, and the food had a weird bad aftertaste to it for some reason, I don't know what happened to the quality of the food, but after that mess, I won't be ordering again Good food, good siu mai especially compared to other dim sum places in Hamilton these days

Had takeout, but they have a few tables if you want to eat in. Everything was fresh and delicious. A real gem !

This place is awesome. I recently rediscovered this place with my friends and went 2 nights in a row. Definitely a huge improvement over the previous owners, with the renovations and better setup and vibe to it. Only thing I could suggest is a better non-foreign song choice.

Used skip the dishes app to order. Order was prepared and shipped out quite quickly. Food was perfect temperature, tasted amazing! Place settings were properly provided. Keep up the great job! I will be recommending your establishment and food to others! Great job!

Worst experience ever, the fee is $10/person/hour instead of $10/person for the happy hour rate (from 3 to 8pm). Both the waiter and waitress did not say that clearly, they skipped the hourly part. Shady way to make money like this …

Came here for a birthday party over the weekend. The food was good (popcorn chicken, fries, and noodles with meat and shrimp) and the rooms were huge with comfortable seating, but that's about the extent of the positive.

This place is super expensive. One really small cup of lemon tea costs more than $10! And there is no service at all and they charge 10% service fee. Though the environment is clean and luxury.

Doesn’t have good English music variety, machine is hard to use, food and drinks were good but service wasn’t, and they will overcharge you a crazy amount for bare minimum service.

Great spot. Clean, good bar, awesome smelling restaurant connected (we didn’t eat there, just had dinner. Only concern is that the karaoke had a limited English library of songs.
