I had a frustrating experience attempting a return at griffin jewellery at the Carling location today. I purchased two items, and needed to return them within the 7-day period, as per their policy. However, the assistant manager’s approach left me feeling extremely dissatisfied. Despite following the policy, I was told that my return couldn’t be processed smoothly due to a mixed payment method (cash and card). Instead, I was advised to call different locations and hope they had the specific cash amount available in their tills. This approach felt impractical and inconveniencing, especially given my limited availability and the narrow return window. What’s more disappointing is that the store’s service during purchases contrasted sharply with the ordeal I faced during the return process. It’s disheartening to experience a lack of willingness to help when it comes to returns, especially considering that returns can often result from unfortunate situations. I hope this message reaches the right ears at head office. I believe there’s a real need to reevaluate the return process and customer service. Clients deserve better treatment, even during returns. Such experiences can shape the reputation of a store as a whole, and I urge the management to take swift action to prevent others from facing similar challenges. In the end, a store’s commitment to providing good service should extend beyond the point of purchase. I hope my feedback helps in driving positive change.

I original went to griffin jewellery in st Laurent mall in 2020 putting a 6000$+ ring on lay away. They originally said that I had unlimited amount of time to pay it as long as I’m paying it each month. Today they decided to call me to inform me that even though I’ve been going there every month putting as much as I can on it that I had to pay the remaining balance by the end of the week or I lose my entire deposit. (at thing point is 4500$) I have been paying off this way because me and my girlfriend share bank account and it was the only way of keeping it a secret from her. So not having the remaining money I had to then tell my girlfriend that I may have to forfeit the ring I’ve been paying off for two years now. So not only did griffin jewelry ruin the surprise they went back on their original word that I had unlimited amount of time to pay it. Never going here again for anything. Garbage company COMPLETELY RUINED MY way PROPOSAL

The customer service is awful, which is surprising for a sales environment. While looking at rings I was asked no questions and just followed around, when I expressed "That's not what I was looking for" the sales representative said little back to show any care about me making a purchase. Usually you get turned towards other alternatives or an apology like "Sorry that's all we have", something along those lines. Instead she just stated the products price and that it wouldn't be able to get what I'm looking for for that price (twice). I never cared about the price to begin with so it was odd that she was emphasizing the price to me. Regards don't go here unless you want a good price on some jewelry and don't care about how employees treat you.

If I could give zero stars I would. Got a ring priced around $500. In 3 weeks the main stone started to fall out (thank goodness I noticed before I lost it). Paid to get it fixed. A month later the band is now nothing even close to a circle. Fast forward another month, one of the diamonds fell out. The $20 rings i buy at Walmart last longer. For the price of these rings, I am appalled and extremely disappointed with the quality! 100% never purchasing here again.

Good prices, and Ontario based company that only sells Canadian made jewlery. Love to support them, would recommend to anyone. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. We once had an issue regarding a piece that we had bought and they quickly solved it for us.

Stay Away from this store. I bought a necklace from here in only wearing occasionally for 4 months it broke twice and they keep charging me to get it fixed. Its no wonder the whole store has been 70 percent off for like 3 years. Do not waste your money here

Went in to have a chain looked at to be repaired. Had the jewelry for less than 3 weeks. For being 600 dollars, the chain shouldn't have broke that quickly. The staff were rude about it and I won't be going back here.

Very disappointing. Customer service failed me. Staff did not even try to resolve or find a solution to my problem with the piece of jewelry. A competitor was able to assit.
