I original went to griffin jewellery in st Laurent mall in 2020 putting a 6000$+ ring on lay away. They originally said that I had unlimited amount of time to pay it as long as I’m paying it each month. Today they decided to call me to inform me that even though I’ve been going there every month putting as much as I can on it that I had to pay the remaining balance by the end of the week or I lose my entire deposit. (at thing point is 4500$) I have been paying off this way because me and my girlfriend share bank account and it was the only way of keeping it a secret from her. So not having the remaining money I had to then tell my girlfriend that I may have to forfeit the ring I’ve been paying off for two years now. So not only did griffin jewelry ruin the surprise they went back on their original word that I had unlimited amount of time to pay it. Never going here again for anything. Garbage company COMPLETELY RUINED MY PROPOSAL

The sign says 70% off, “No Exceptions” This is just false advertising and a lie in my opinion (and probably by others). I walk in to the Griffin Jewelry store to look at silver rings.. They didn’t have any but some of the tungsten rings they had caught my eye.. I try them on, end up liking one and get told by the manager that those are not infact 70% as the store advertised. Granted they still have somewhat of a sale going on but I don’t see how this can’t be false advertising. The second star is for the lady that was helping me very well. Great customer service from the older employee that was really trying her best it seamed.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! SCAMMERS! THEY APPRAISE THEIR PRODUCTS SO HIGH AND PRICE IT FOR A LOWER PRICE WHICH IS STILL SO MUCH HIGHER THAN WHAT IT ACTUALLY COSTS! SO MANY FORUMS TALKING ABOUT HOW GRIFFIN IS A BIG SCAM! READ REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS! I WOULD PUT -1 STAR IF I CAN! YOURE WAY BETTER OFF BUYING FROM JAMES ALLEN!!!

The staff working are always friendly and helpful, quality wise, if you are buying any jewelry with stones, you best get the warranty!!! I had a stone fall out of my ring and haven't even had it for a year. I know someone who purchases another piece of jewelry from Griffin, and not even a week in ,they lost a stone. So make sure you get the warranty if you don't want the stress

This place is so unprofessional I’m still chocked at the personal they hire to sell expensive diamonds. As much as I love diamonds and shopping! The horrible customer service finally made me quit I will never buy again from this store .( terrible customer service not encouraging to buy anything)
