⭕ I recently had the misfortune of dealing with a beamer, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I must warn all potential car buyers to steer clear of this unscrupulous establishment unless you want to throw your hard-earned money down the drain. They sells the most broken-down, dilapidated vehicles from scrapyards and put them on their lot. Right after I bought the car it been in their service center since then. Couldn't even drive it a month. When I spoke to their boss he told me that & I quote "lemon law apply for new cars only & I know my laws I been in this business for years now" . But according to the lemon law they are bound to replace the car or full refund if same problem appears in 2 months. And I went to them 4 times with same problem(the car had severe engine damage with 15+ codes and required extensive repairs costing) in under a month. And they had my car for 5 weeks now right next day of my purchase(June 4th 2023). They keep saying it's a small issue give us 1 2 days and keep patching it every day. They even made me buy warrenty and claiming from the warrenty to fix their sold junk. This car dealer's lack of integrity and customer service is appalling. They prioritize making a quick buck over the satisfaction and safety of their customers. If you value your money, time, and sanity, I implore you to stay away from. They are nothing more than crooks preying on unsuspecting car buyers with their broken-down junk on wheels. Save yourself the headache and go to a reputable dealership where honesty and customer satisfaction matter. ⭕

Updating my review: I will absolutely not refer anyone to this dealership. You sold me a vehicle with issues and lied to my face about it. Within 3 days, the CEL turned on and now I have been at the service shop for the past two days being completely misinformed about when my car is going to be ready. Your customer service is horrid. No one at the service shop even bothered to call me or give my any updates, I had to call for the updates. I was told that I would be messaged an update twice via text but they both never arrived. I'm changing my review for you guys. I do not appreciate the deceit. I live all the way out in Long Island and this has taken up too much of my time. *Previous review when purchasing car* This was my first time, so I was unsure what to expect and I hoped that I wouldn't be taken advantage of due to my ignorance. My gripe was that I was initially given an offer for financing with one lender through Capital One but they attempted to get other offers from other lenders instead of just using the initial offer. That had me a little confused. I planned to spend the original amount provided in the offer but more was added on to the total down payment. It was almost as if they were trying to fish for the higher down payment. The car just needed to have it's day lights checked. I just wished that that was tended to beforehand. That is not right. There was no transparency. Nothing was explained. All I kept hearing was "sign here, sign here, and hear." Be wary if you decide to come here and be well informed as well.

I usually rarely post negative reviews on Google map (I’m lazy to do so) but, I couldn’t ignore story which happened to me yesterday. So, i found 2016 honda pilot with 128k miles for 15k …so just walked in into HAO and checked it in person…it was in bad condition…but there was another same color and year car but with 60k miles ….so salesman Levan (he is awesome man 5 stars…if you go to there I would recommend you to ask him to deal with ) so he told us that price for that car is 19.995$ so i told him that i want offer them 18.5k so their manager John came and i told him that…i felt he agreed for that price…then we got transferred into finance guy Luis…(that part when it got interesting) So Luis told us that car actually cost 19.995(he never heard that i was talking previously with their manager about 18.5k price) which is reflecting 6k. Down payment….so he told me actual price for that car is 24k something… so I just stand up from chair and walked out… I felt there is a lot of dealerships who do this kind of tricks…I think government need to set some regulations and transparency on all this dealers…like for how much they bought a car, how much they put on top of it and for how much they want to sell it. I’m now not wondering why car is for 50 something days at dealership… Damn…that was long writing so anyway I just shared my experience. I’m not bu$$hurt would to be customer. Not I’m angry at them…they doing their business the way how they want, that’s their business.. Everyone enjoy your day!

A couple of weeks ago I came here looking for a vehicle with my girlfriend. When I saw the posting on CarGurus, I know how these third party dealers like to operate by advertising one price and then you get there and it's a different one, so I looked on their site and only saw something about "price after registration and taxes" which is normal, so that's fine. Just in case though, I also called up and spoke to Brandon, and I I asked if the price online was the actual price, and not after X amount down, which he confirmed. So, I get there and I get set up with Andy, who was nice, and I asked again about the price and if that was the actual price or after X amount down, which he again confirmed. Great, so me and my girlfriend continue looking at the car, go for a test drive, and decide to fill out the application for it. Well after about 3 hours in total with a lot of waiting around, and on a Sunday mind you, we finally get into the finance manager's office, and would you look at that, the price is after almost SIX THOUSAND down. That's a huge bait and switch, usually when dealers do that it's only like 2 thousand down or something like that. I was very upset, and of course the finance manager points out on the website where it's written (not numbers which would be easier to spot) that it's after Five Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Five dollars down. Such a huge waste of time, I wouldn't recommend a place that does this big bait and switch and is dishonest with their customers.

Hillside auto I highly recommend STAYING AWAY from this dealership. If you want a car go to another dealership. Customer service is horrible. They will show you the car have you sit down in the office after and you’ll never see the sales rep again. They take a day process to get you approved or having you wait until you say “ I’m leaving I can’t wait any longer” then they magically have an approval for you. They can’t tell you what your down payment is and monthly payments over the phone they want you to come in and put insurance on the car before telling you any information. All the cars they sell are lemons. Something is wrong with all their vehicles. It took them a month to fix my forward collision sign and didn’t even change the sensor. I still have a light on my car to this day. Their mechanics tells them not to sell the cars because they’re not ready and they will turn and put a price tag and it and tell you it’s ready to sell. I had to put more money into the car after putting a down payment when it shouldn’t be like that. You buy a car it should be 100% ready to go from the dealership. Over the month I had to drive from Stamford, CT to Queens New York 8 times trying to get them to fix the issue that they pushed upon me. I’ve also put unnecessary miles on the car going back and forth from CT to NY including toll fees. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!

The vehicle that I inquired about, is listed online for $16,495. While visually inspecting the vehicle, we realized that the listing was incorrect. The vehicle that I intended on buying was a 2021 Hyundai Sonata when in fact the available vehicle was a 2021 Hyundai Elantra (which had a sticker price of $26k+). This was the first lie that we bypassed because I ended up liking the Elantra. After inquiring about the internet price with our sales associate, he left to speak with their finance associate. We were told that the internet price will be honored. The sales associate gave us a print out with the vehicles information which had a price of $21k. We inquired about the price and we were reassured that we’d be buying the vehicle at $16,495 financing through our bank. We’re now at lie # 2 and #3. That was a lie at least on the financiers behalf. When speaking with the Hillside Auto Outlet’s finance associate, he provided us with yet a fourth price. Now, on paper we were met with a $22k (plus fees) price tag. Not only were we lied to throughout the process, our time was wasted. It is unfair to people who are traveling from a distance to come and do business at Hillside Auto Outlet. “Bait and switch” at its finest. This business is deceitful.

And I’m literally going to sue them for it. He named and agreed on a price then put paper work in front of me. And stole more money that I did not know he added. My dad and I went to the dealership to checkout a nissan pathfinder. I texted the dealership asking about the cars price before going and they confirmed that the car was 17,705 before dmv and taxes. When we went, i had asked the salesman shawn several times and he confirmed the same thing, 17705 before dmv and taxes, and that there were no dealership feees at all. We test drove the car, and waited hours. They tried to get us to insure the car before buying it, which makes sense because after 3 hours of waiting, the finance guy said the price of the car was 25000 dollars, before taxes and dmv fees. Apparently the price put on the website is some strange figure based on a 6000 dollar downpayment, which we were never informed of, the car salesman literally told us we could put ten thousand down and finance the other eight thousand, insinuating that the full price of the car is the 17705 on the website. He repeatedly confirmed to my dad that that is the full price, as my dad was very weary and kept reapeatedly asking. We were completely lied to. Dont waste your time and money here.

This dealership really wasted my time after being in contact with a rep the whole time. I drove over 3 hours just to be hit with the cash offer that was told to me that was accepted was not even talked about and I specifically asked them to not waste my time and I was assured that I was going to walk away with a car. The rep stated he spoke to his manager called me back. Why have a cash offer available to do online accept it then waste a person time never again and I advised anyone else to not go there and waste ur time. The site says no surprises hidden fees after making your offer and getting the the taxes and fee added price. Then I get there and was hit with surprises that all dealers to just to get you in the door definitely bad business and I don’t recommend to do business with them at all. Then had the nerve to ask me do to a review after getting me excited the day before I arrived well here is my review and it’s definitely not a good one, I took off of work to have my time wasted. They do what they have to do and say what they have to say to get you in the door.

Ok, So the trend that most dealerships in NY are doing now. Is that they will have a young car (2020 honda for example) with very little mileage, advertised at a far lower price than the real market value of the car. Sounds too good to be true? Because it is.. the cars are marked at a low price to reel you in. Once you show up for that car. They will slap on the crazy added fees..that you are legally under no obligation to pay for. They definitely want someone with a low credit score to finance, because they are usually vulnerable (having a low credit score), along with having the mindset to submit to the worst options..so it's easier to get them to bend to paying their added fees. The only legitimate fees a customer is obligated to pay for (in your financed contract or bought straight up) are tax, title ,and license fees. Youtube "11 fake car fees" By a former car salesman named Kevin hunter. Also their 5 star reviews are usually fake..besides the vulnerable customer that (sadly) has NO CLUE how much money they actually..just DONATED to the dealership.

Trust the bad reviews, I came all the way from NJ to see a car after calling to confirm the price was correct and asked if they charged fees beyond state mandated. I was told no over the phone and by my salesperson. When it came time to talk numbers there were over $8,000 in fees that don’t existed at any other dealerships. Their asking price was way over the KBB and Edmunds value, which I brought up. They then lowered the price a bit, and when I brought up the fact that they use false advertising I was told point blank “they have to in order to get people in the door”. These guys are con men, all very pleasant, but will lie and tell you anything you want to hear until push comes to shove. They will try and wear you down with personal stories and take you to multiple offices to throw you off and make you feel like they’re doing you a favor. They AREN’T. Run and hold to your guns. Trust the reviews, I wish I would have and stayed far away. They made creepy remarks about my appearance as well, over all a terrible experience.

I drove 2 HOURS to come look at/test drive a car they had in their inventory. I spoke with them multiple times during the week, called the day before and the day of to re-confirm the car's availability. Spoke with multiple sales reps and scheduled an appointment for 4:30pm. When I got there, ALL of the sales representatives had left for the day and didn't inform me prior to leaving, and there was one guy there who didn't even know I was coming. He informed the sales manager, who then sat down with me and started asking about prices and numbers, WITHOUT even showing me the car. I said I wanted to test drive the car before talking numbers and he tells me the car is "not available to test drive because we have to repair it." Excuse me?? So not only did I drive 2 HOURS unnecessarily, but I didn't even get a chance to SEE or SIT in the car that they advertised!! I will not be coming back here. Incredibly unsatisfying and unprofessional experience. I am very disappointed.

I contacted the dealer days ahead of time to ask if there were any dealer fees associated with the internet price. I was told that the dealer had no dealer fees. Today I drove over 2 hours to look at a 2021 Mazda CX-9. I was interested in the car ... We sat down to discuss the price with the manager and was told that there was a $5,000 "down payment" added to the internet price. I objected to this since I had called earlier to verify there were no dealer fees. The manager told me there were no dealer fees but this was simply a down payment. I was confused since I was paying cash. He said even with cash, you're still a responsible for the $5,000 down payment. We left the dealership immediately. We drove over 4 hours roundtrip to find out the car was $5,000 more than the advertised price. This is such a scam. I'm so tired of dealers having hidden fees once you arrive at the dealership. AVOID!

This place seemed very professional at first, reaching out to me to schedule an appointment to see the vehicle I was interested in and following up and confirming with me via email and text day off. It took me two hours to get to this dealership with me even calling to confirm that I was on my way and running a few minutes late. When I get there they told me the car was being serviced and wouldn’t be there till two day from now. This really made me question their professionalism as I was in touch with them all day and nobody let me know the car I was going to see wasn’t even available to see at the time they set me up for. Cars are already a very stressful thing to buy and make sure you’re not getting taken advantage of and this experience certainly made it so I would never trust this company with purchasing my car.

Do not shop here. The prices listed are the finance price after a ~25% down payment, and therefore do not reflect anywhere near the actual price of the car. I was very serious about buying a car, I confirmed the "price" on the phone before going, scheduled an appointment for test drive, and was fully prepared to buy the car I was interested it, in cash. After a test drive, which I was pleased with, we sat down and they told me the actual price was the listed price plus 5900 (the down payment), and we were therefore unable to reach a price (even pre-tax/fees) that I was expecting to pay. This is an intentionally shady business practice, would rather do business with somewhere that is not employing these tactics. I suspected a used car dealership to try to add fees/etc, but this is just pure false advertising.

Mo was extremely knowledgeable and understanding of our needs and concerns and helped us find our perfect car. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. These people took my money, had me get insurance in a vehicle and by I returned they said, the car I was supposed to drive out the mart with, crashed, almost total. That I believe is not true. After I requested a refund they wanted to give me check and I paid in cash. I waited almost 2 weeks for my refund. I kept calling and they rejected my calls because they knew my number so I called from another phone and as soon as they knew it was be she hung up. The were so impolite. They tried to give me a cheaper and uglier car after and I refused, all I wanted was my money and so I could get another car. I went World Star Auto and get quality service and a great car.

SEND THE REFUND TO CAPTIAL ONE AUTO FOR THE CANCELLED SERVICE CONTRACT August now and still dealing with FRAUDULENT activity with this company. And I notice none of your earned negative reviews have a response from the owner. After several months of dealing with this business(Nov 2022 to April 2023)...buyer beware. Having a very concerning financial fallout regarding a "service contract" that was added on during the sale. We didn't understand it but trusted, yes trusted these men during the buying process and they disappear afterwards never fully being available by phone for questions. I would never purchase from again nor recommend this dealership.

Hillside Auto outlet is hilarious. I never believed they could work with me on pricing. I saw a price online without knowing that there was a deposit of $6k as a down payment to qualify for the price. But when I got tonthe dealership, the staff and managers were able to work a compromise with me to be able to get the car I wanted without taking any offense. They were able to work with the bank to give me a fair interest interest rate with very low monthly payment. I can recommend HHillside to anyone any day. Thank you Hillside family.

If your going to buy from here don't buy in cash. For some reason it takes them over 4 days to get a cash price on a vehicle, when that should really be something that is already information to the public, especially when your running a used car business. Customer service reps I spoke to were lovely, but the not being able to get a cash price after waiting 4 days is really aggravating. I'm not one to get in the way of business so this is just a review for anyone that cares to read them.

Pretty pleased with my experience at Hillside auto. Shoutout to David B. He was extremely helpful. When I wasn’t satisfied with the car I originally came in for, he helped me get into a car that I was very happy with. My only issue was with insurance, and the staff went above and beyond to help me find a quote. Also be mindful that the price online is based on a $6000 down payment. Otherwise I had a very pleasant experience and I am so happy with my purchase so far.

Horrible place to purchase a vehicle. Very unhanded sales tactics. Prices listed are only applicable with a MASSIVE down payment. The finance manager Luis, will add on a $4000 guarantee to the total loan amount and tell you its a gift for shopping there. After multiple times of agreeing on price listed, the final amount will be $8-10k than originally spoken of. Process is rushed so that you don’t notice what you’re actually looking at. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!

Hospitality on a million at this dealer. I had a very good experience overall everyone is very friendly and caring about all concerns. Guery walked me through the entire process and guided me every step of the way and the Finance Manager kept the whole process clean. Loved it. You should definitely visit, they will find you what you want. I had my reservations, but their service exceeded my very low expectations. Thank you guys.

Drove 2.5hrs for a trashed corvette that needs attention every at showroom cost it's missing knobs and damage everywhere. Paint is ruined and it's missing the key. A joke of a place. Straight up garbage. They every lost the key. Never again Straight up junk. The staff was very polite including the manager. They did try to accommodate the missing key situation. Just too far and situation issues.

HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP...Drove 3hrs for them to double the price on a vehicle advertised for something different. They then "honored" the price, so I started working with a salesmen who left and I never saw again. I bought a gle and after purchasing the car driving it home and on the highway the car has body roll and they refuse to replace the struts and get me my second key after the. I was told they wood!! It's ridiculous that you have to search through the fine print to discover that the advertised price doesn't include a $2.000 down-payment. I wonder if this is false advertisement. At a minimum, it's a horrible way to start a relationship with your customers by not being upfront with them. Deceit doesn't build trust. Hillside Auto wasted my time.

They sell bad cars and lie to you about the cars past history. Also their service department overcharges many people that don’t know about cars. They charged me 850 for a 400 dollar job. They make promises they can’t keep. Be careful buying a car from this place!!! And majority of people that go to their service department are getting scammed.

Scam… STAY AWAY….. we negotiated price and agreed for $12k price. So I let him run my credit and while finalizing order he increased price to 18k. I have perfect credit score. I even offered him certified check/ cash. He will achieve you your monthly payment but will increase payment term by 2 years. DO MATH EVERYONE…
