Contrary to the reviews, we must have come on a bad day. The attendent rudely made a string of rude, condesending accusations to my partner and I becuase I took a photo of a book cover. Over the last week I have spent over $150 on books and took a photo to remember the book title for my next pay. Instead of politely making a statement that he preferred he didnt approve of the photo while I was standing infront of him would have been a more appropriate strategy. Far to say, we instantly put the book, which my partner was planning to purchase and left. We will take our passion for books elsewhere thank you very much

I went to purchase a book from this store, as I wanted to support an independent bookshop. However, after being unable to find the book I asked the shop attendant for assistance. The man was rude and belittling after discovering the genre of novel I requested was a Young Adult. I cannot recommend this store, and will never purchase from here.

I love the smell of Imprints as you walk in... it is a true bookstore. They have an online store but I prefer to go there so that I can have a chat with the staff and get recommendations. They are always fine to order in anything that they don't have. I have ordered online too and had a great experience as well.

There are places that sell books and there are Booksellers. This is one of the great Bookshops. The people are booklovers, knowledgeable and friendly. I do not know if there is a top 5 bookshops in the world list, if there is Imprints would be on that list.

Imprints embodies the quality over quantity mantra. As a small book store they punch way above their weight in this regard. With a great, almost eclectic mix of books, from simple fun to decidedly intellectual, you're sure to find something you like.

Such a great little place, great service, great atmosphere. As others have said they'll happily order things in for you and call you when available, wait time for orders is really reasonable. Cost is comparable to big chains! Support local.

Nice cosy vibes, was greeted upon entry with a nice smile and asking if I needed any help straight away which is a nice touch. Very knowledgeable in what the store has and books that could substitute other books that they didn't have

Easily the best bookshop in Adelaide Ive been going for thirty plus years The staff are knowledgeable,extremely helpful and invariably courteous The range of books comprehensive and current I would not shop for books anywhere else

I walked in the other day. Because of the selection of books in the windows and nice style, I was going to buy a book but the man at the counter working there was really rude to me. Not buying from there now.

Imprints is a haven for book lovers. Good luck getting out of the door empty-handed. Some shops sell things. Imprints know and love books. If you're nice, I imagine they might even sell you one.

Had a great selection of mainstream and unusual books, the atmosphere was amazing, the staff were friendly and welcoming but not pushy. Cosy yet fresh. Everything you would want in a bookshop.

By far and away the best bookshop in Adelaide. Current releases and little gems to be found everywhere. A great kid's section too. Staff are bibliophiles. 10/10 customer service.
