I had a good experience at this library. I had to work while on a trip to Houston with my family. The WiFi in the air Bnb went out & this library was nearby. I called first and the librarian was very friendly. I knew her by her voice when I stepped inside. She showed me where I could plug up my laptop & I got to work. I was there 4 hours. I had headphones so I was able to drown out the individuals on the phone (people, it’s a LIBRARY…shhhh! ), and various ones talking to themselves. I’ll admit that the area is not for the faint of hearts but once you get past the interesting people hanging out at the picnic area by the parking lot, you’re ok. Plenty of parking on a Tuesday afternoon. Like you normally would, make sure you lock your car & take anything of value out.

I have not been at this library in years. The last time I came here was to talk to the branch manager about my sister passing and this was in 2009. My sister was the librarian there. I remember all the staff that worked here and even before this library was built. I am not sure who all work there now because it was always floaters from different branches. The library is not ghetto I read some reviews about it. It is not ghetto it is just the people who visit are. Most of the staff here are all friendly and some will have an attitude due to a person’s tone towards them. I do not live in Sunnyside anymore but if some of you all still do. Stop complaining about the library and build it up more by getting involve in the community to make it better. God Bless!

The only reason I usually come here is for travel books. But a recent experience with the staff has given me reason to give this library 4 stars. Overall, it's a huge library with every book imaginable and tons of quiet nooks and crannies to read/study.

Losers. This library had no notepad, nor wordpad nor MS word, so when you use their computers, you cannot create any type of document. The Houston Public Library has a deal with Yahoo where you cannot access your email withoit doing phone

I love this Library. I can walk to it from my apartment building. The selection of movies is great. The staff is friendly. I appreciate being able to use a computer for as long as I need to. Thanks for the peaceful atmosphere!

This Library is great for children. The Adult selection is a little poor on what’s in the Library but once you start using online to hold books it’s better. It doesn’t take that long on holds either. I love it !

It's a small library. I find whatever I wish to read and check it out. Service by staff has always been very helpful. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help. The library also offer other services.

We've only visited twice by really enjoy our time there. Ms. Francisca does a great job with family storytime. I love that she's so flexible and finds a way to keep my toddler engaged.

When I inquired about the flip kits, Kierra at the desk answered in a demeaning, rude tone as if I shouldn't have asked. Maybe she's having a bad day or something. Wish her the best.

Just beautiful. I loved just wandering around the hallways. The halls lined with photography and exhibits make it more like a museum than a library (in a good way).
