I have to start this by saying I am a gay male, and I'm assuming that I also appear as one. Well, I went into this store to look for a scpecific type of shoe. The sales associates were greeting and talking to other people and I was waiting for one of them to have a moment to come help me. After several minutes the sales associates had stopped talking to those people, then looked at me, then proceeded to greet other people walking into the store even though I had been there for about 7 minutes. They never greeted me either yet were greeting everyone else who came into the store. It became obvious to me why they were ignoring me. I went to the employee behind the cash register and asked for a manager and the employee told me that one of the associates who had been ignoring me was the manager. So I didn't want to talk to anyone there at that point because clearly they didn't want to help me, and one of them was the manager. So I simply told the employee that the two associates on the sales floor had ignored me being there for several minutes while greeting and helping everyone else, including people who had come in after me and had not said anything to me even though they had looked at me. I don't want to make assumptions, but it seems pretty clear to me why they didn't help me. I left the store, disappointed and embarrassed. I will never come to this store again, and if possible, never shop at Journeys again, if that's the kind of people they employ. Your store is called Journeys, so take a journey and grow up, or else call your store "stuck in the past".

I went to return some Birkenstocks I purchased today around 6:30pm and the employee that was helping me was very helpful and sweet. I had lost my receipt and had asked if she can look up my receipt with the email I used to purchased the shoes . She seemed to have been struggling a little to find my receipt and this young black man (who I’m guessing was the manager) came and took over. I asked a simple question and he answered me super rudely, I felt like he was talking down on me. I was shocked and didn’t say anything. He talked the same way to the other employee too and you could tell she was uncomfortable/ bothered by him. I wasn’t rude or being difficult so idk what the problem.

It was my second time being here and wow I loved LOVED the customer service from Kiki. Not only did she help me get the right sizes but she gave me advice on which shoes were comfy and cute. I really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend this location. I also bought a lot of shoes!!! As a person who only had one pair of sneakers I got a lot of help and ended up buying the platform Uggs in black, two high top converse one black one dark green, low top converse and some crocs. ❤️❤️

The girl manager was really rude,she told me 2 days ago if the shoe didnt fit my son,I could return them with receipt and unworn of course,they didnt fit so I tried to get a refund and she said she couldnt refund only exchange because they show signs of use,and he didnt wear them at all,she just didnt want to return them for her commision,its not fair,and she couldve easily refunded me,she shouldnt be working there.

I must say I am very appreciated for their help. I always have trouble finding comfortable shoes. I came by told them what I was looking for and the issues I tend to have. They where very quick and helped find the right boots for me. Quick and friendly staff. No doubt. Now I have new favorite boots.

Entertaining selection of shoes, backpacks, and other youth and school-related gear. Excellent help from the staff. I especially like the Bugs Bunny and Friends Converse backpack and the DC Comics Converse shoes.

The store didn’t have the size of shoe I was looking for, but the staff was so helpful, and nice! The woman helping me even brought out a couple different types of shoes around the same style I was looking for!!

First time there. I called & had them hold the shoes I was looking for. Tge employees who helped me I believe he was mixed Filipino & black he was super helpful. Very nice..

The girl manager is very rude. Screamed at me for getting the wrong size shoes. Being very peddy. Surprised she's a manager. Overall the service was fast for getting shoes.
