Mostly decent shop attendants but the presence of a couple that are aggressively nagging and petty are enough to totally ruin what is otherwise a decent shop/atmosphere, for one that feels violating just to be around. For a non-impoverished area this kind of service is just bizarre, not something I’ve ever encountered before. If you’re nagged you just need to say nothing and move on, any polite and direct response will be met with the woman who does this pouting and demanding for security to follow you around. Either come in expecting zero emotional maturity or just don’t engage at all, and I guess you won’t feel too repulsed if you have no choice but to shop here. The majority of the workers are certainly kind/polite and well-adjusted enough, but the ones that aren’t really have no shame in forcing their emotional issues on customers, most likely because they know the place is closing down soon and no longer need to fear job security enough to hold themselves to any standard. Again, it is only a couple of workers that are inclined this way, but it’s enough, just like the presence of one petulant alcoholic uncle can be enough to ruin the atmosphere of an otherwise pleasant family gathering.

I'd like to say a few things .(NOTHING BAD) I've lived n the outerharbour region for going on to 24yrs n you have always had extremely affordable prices I was hoping you could expand your pet variety with covid many are having more pets n dogs buds fish you cater really well cats are on the increase as preferred pets more products would greatly b accepted due to catafying home so they have room due to the size of your home harnesses cat carriers toys big play n bed sets there's only 1 pet store oetsland from sport to outerharbour plz bring note cat products wirm tab flea shamps brushes fur removing etc so plz plz plz mote cat products n electrical n gardening cheap as chips is the only store with a hardware Kmart I'm port need to basically expand precivid good now it needs to have more stock added to co exsist with civid n social distancing more variety more sales SIRRY FOR LING COMMENT 1ST TIME N WE ♥️♥️♥️♥️L MART TY FOR YOUR YRS OF SERVICE we J st need more products keep up the awesome work♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️from me n my family n outerharbour♥️

Helpful staff usually very well stocked clean and tidy *edit 14/6/22* while the above was true at the time since writing that review this store has greatly gone down hill it is now known in the area as where to take your child or partner that really want something that you don't to buy knowing it won't be in stock and you won't have to buy it as nothing is ever in stock there now, further more the staff are rude and trying to call ends up with multiple phone calls to be transfered and hung up on untill you give up or it rings out, it seems a huge chor for anyone to go.you and if they do the have little or no knowledge of the store or its stock I and a few others I talk to have taken to driving out to muno para store to get things we want .... Westlakes has far better stock levels not great but anything is better than the port plaza kmart

Terrible customer service in the fitting rooms, I walked in to find no staff, so I waited and no one came. I tried the clothes and on my way out gave the lady the ones that weren't the right size, she asked for my numbered coat hanger I said no one was here and then she pointed at the tiny sign on the door behind me that no one would ever see and ranted about rules in a really rude manor, I suggested a sign on the counter and she continued to rant and called me stupid so I walked off and bought the one thing I tried on and nothing else on my list. I hope that the manager can sort out her customer service skills. I shop at Kmart fairly often but I think I will be changing which store I go to.

It's a warehouse right?!! Cos it's huge n airy. Located at a vantage place in Port Adelaide shopping center is this find-all-items-in-me Mart. Clothes for him n her, children, furnishings, gardening, kitchen appliances n utensils, fitness n music gadgets and quite more are placed under big banners so you know where to find them. There's also a photo printing facility n customer booth. Staff let you do the shopping, not necessarily the " Hi, how may I help you" types.it's up to you to decide if you want to buy the item. Anyways Kmart has a 28 day return offer on most items. The self-check out facility is a welcome relief. There is ample parking space as wel.

Worse customer service imaginable. Underwear/ clothes wise they always only have one or two sizes. Their service is despicable and they never take blame for anything! I mean anything! They stock things on the wrong shelves then don't take blame when we say it's cheaper and not once have they ever taken that fault and given it for the price displayed like everywhere else do, they don't even apologize for the mix up! I cannot believe some of those people have managed to keep their jobs when they're are people out their willing to do those jobs PROPERLY. Worst service, every time.

I love Kmart but PA constantly have empty shelves. I understand covid has impacted stock although when checking online to see if an item in available and it is, unfortunately this isn't the case when going into the store. There are a few staff members who are great and will assist where needed - super grateful for them One guy, dyed blonde hair - honestly, straight to the point, helpful - Kmart PA, you need more of this guy Also an Italian lady, so nice, she processes most of my orders and returns

Worst experience in a kmart ever!!! Store layout is poor, the self service registers are in horrible condition not to mention the staff just didn't seem to care about any of their customers. There was a lady who her and her partner walked out without paying for something and the young man didn't approach or say anything, granted they came back into the store to pay 2mins later as they were just looking at a display outside of the store but it just showed the lack of care by the staff.

Well presented, very spacious and always stocked with the neccessities/common items found in Kmart. The self service options have an even distribution of Cash:Card machines which having clear signage always helps. On a side note, if you're into miscellaneous plush toys featuring animals such as Sloths, Hairy Lions, Bearded Elephants, Monsters Inc style creatures with zip mouths (which once un-zipped produce a tongue) and finally Unicorns, this is the store for you.

I love PA Kmart! So many sales all the time and a good store layout overall. I did notice today that some of the racks were a bit messy, but this was only the sales racks from memory. Aside from that, it’s kept fairly tidy. The self service checkouts were unstaffed, however once we got help they were really happy to assist. Overall a great shopping experience (in the gorgeous, revamped Port Adelaide Plaza) and we will definitely be back!

Thank you to Sam in customer service department. Asked her today if there were any bean bags out the back as it said they were in stock online. She chased it up with staff and got two bags for me. Customer service that goes the extra mile deserves to be recognised. Been to 4 other kmart’s this week (who also said in stock online) who weren’t able to help me out. What a horrible experience! Never will be returning here again. Girl with white hair was very rude. Making comments about my appearance and my body size. When I asked for a bigger size in the change rooms she laughed and gave me dirty looks. I felt so uncomfortable. Her name badge said Laura. Please train your staff as I don't want anyone to go through what I had to.

Love the Port and the new development. Unfortunately Kmart doesn't grow into the new, modern feel. Old, outdated store, poor stock control. I'm aware of covid and China, but other stores don't seem as impacted. Waited 30 minutes to collect a click and collect tonight, asked 11 times for service. Hoping the store can improve soon. As I said, really love the Port!

Not the same store it used to be, definitely thinned out their good stock. Staff are like lost souls floating around with nothing to do and 1 staff at the counter... can't stand any store who literally makes the most interactive and a true point of "service" that consolidates the customer/business relationship. Any thing to save on employee money.

I used to live in Port Adelaide (probably around 5-6 years ago) before the Kmart/Coles complex got its recent revamp, and even then I would have given it five stars. It’s absolutely huge, stock is kept current and plentiful, and as with most places in the Port, it’s full of lively and friendly characters - both staff and other shoppers.

When big is just not BIG enough... From any parking spot to any of the shops a scooter would come very handy (not sure if our seniors would like it very much). To support [extremely] patiently the local businesses or to just go elsewhere?... It depends on whether you have 45min to spend buying two items "on the run".

Not good at all. Need to replace whoever orders clothes for mature young at heart larger ladies. Styles, material, cuts all terrible. And whatever happened to sleeves and 3/4 sleeves too. Black pants that are ankle length and Capri with elastic in both, none at all this summer.come on KMart lift your game.

Please be aware with the cheating and unprofessional behaviour from the manager named Harry. If you don’t look at the price tag of the items you will be cheated. I bought an item price tag was $6 and they charged me $12 in the bill. Very bad experience and I don’t think Kmart management care about it.

Quick and friendly services, not too crowded shop, provides variety of items with good prices and close to my place. I love the sale items at this shop, sometimes I got a top for $3, sausage rolls maker for $5 and my family loves this home made sausage rolls. This Kmart is my favorite shop. ❤️ …

At a loss as to why Kmart employs and continues to employ courier companies that take more than 10 days to deliver a product from 1 store to another, especially when the stores are approximately 20 km apart. I would go and pick it up myself except I am paraplegic and traveling is just a little hard.

Some guy called Roland Donders is running a fraud out of this kmart, using other people's phone numbers to coordinate illicit package delivery. I live in Melbourne but keep getting notifications about Roland Donders package deliveries to and from this kmart. Is it drugs? Who knows.

I like the layout of the place as I frequently visit the toys section with my kids and it's just right at the entrance. It is new and had large space and variety of items, and i would certainly come back again. Close to all the other supermarkets as well such as Aldi and Coles.

Just spoke to a lovely girl called Sabree who was very helpful with my purchase of a trampoline that I have been chasing for a while. She placed the item on hold for me to collect and gave me great advice on how to collect and pay. Well done Sabree and KMart Pt Adelaide.

Good store, easy parking and the two staff members I asked a question of very friendly and helpful but my issue is the layout, the Churchill and Kurralta Park stores have far better layouts. Also Big W are 5-10% cheaper on a couple of the toys I am looking to purchase.

Terrible experience over there phone with a team member on the floor. Was as polite as could be to avoid adding to the pressure of all the current panic buying. Team member was unhelpful, rude and short, ending the phone call with “yeah okay, bye.” Pretty disappointed

Got my awesome aquarium goods and am extremely pleased with the prices and the quality of what I purchased,. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly to boot, so if you in the market for those lines I acquired, then I can recommend you checkout Kmart.

Definately the strangest layout store in South Australia. Staff were not so friendly but not exactly rude either, it seemed like the staff were not very happy to be there at work for some reason. Store was mostly stocked so keep up that part at least.

God I hate self serve checkouts. And at a store like this with awkward shapes items they are impossible. Wouldn't be so bad if they had staff on the manned checkouts. At least its cheap, you get what you pay for, but sometimes you just need cheap.

This whole shopping centre has had a great revamp and is much more welcoming with great outdoor areas now. Small area for kids to play inside and still in the process of filling out with shops it's a great addition to the local area. Decent

Staffs here are always friendly. They’re happy to assist you with your shopping and even with returning items. I love the variety of products that Kmart has. It’s just sad when I come to the shop to get something and it’s out of stock.

Great variety of women's clothing. At the moment they have some very cute plain ribbed tops in stock. Some of the sections are poorly labelled, however. It was difficult to find the storage section as it was under the wrong name.

The stuff here sells out pretty quickly (same as Kurrulta Park), but I go here when I can't find stock at Kurrulta Park most of the time. That aside, the staff are really helpful and friendly here so that's definately a big plus.

Kmart seems to provide great value for most people. It has a smaller range of goods than a decade ago. The range of good value electronics and clothings make it an essential destination for every clever shopper in Australia.

Trashiest Kmart. Clothes and other products all over the place and on the ground. Change rooms closed for maintenance so can’t try anything on. Gave an extra star because at least they have variety

Quite spacious and clean. Offers enough variety and good stock on hand. Trolleys are scarce though so be sure to oink one up from the parking lot before heading into store otherwise it’s a hassle.

This store is a little disappointing. It doesn't feel like a very loved place. There were multiple products that had been opened and had parts removed and was difficult to find fully in tac items.

This Kmart store is one of the best store to go if you're looking to save money. They've got more options than others, place is quieter and more space if you want to practice social distancing.

Although not a big as other Kmart's. It still has a large variety of items to fulfill your needs. Layout can be confusing, but the staff are very helpful with helping you find what you need.

Quick and easy to get to, central to everything, and as Kmarty as one can expect. Only thing I can fault is the store layout isn't very intuitive.

Big store, easy to find what you need. No checkout operators, was all self service. I still like to use the checkout so we keep someone in a job.

There is a fair amount of construction going on with the new port plaza around KMart parking can be tight but it's still a good place to shop.

It's always grubby. So many times I've complained about empty shelves with caked on dust, but nobody gives a flying f.
