I would rate it less if I could because I came to get my nails done at the nail shop. It opens at 11 and l wasn't aware and got there early and waited about 20 to 35 minutes outside the door of the shop. As l waited mall detective car pulled up to the curb rolled the window down and stared at me for a few minutes then rolled the window up and sat there. They are there for our safety. I get that but I didn't feel safe it felt intimidating as if perhaps l was being watched for the safety of others. I know they have a job to do but not at the expense of law abiding citizens. I have no complaints about my visit to Jewels, the nail shop, Walgreens and Dunkin Donuts. Services with them was excellent.

Employees were helpful and knowable about the sale items and the Delivery man was a surprise he actually took my grocery and me home and put them in the door. Thanks Ash for all your help.I got the cooked shrimp which was 50 percent off and 2 gallons of milk 1.99 per gallon, chobani yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, Mac and cheese, veggie salad which was on sale for 1.99. The store was clean and there were no angry people waiting in the lines. The cashier was a pleasant young man who took the time to explain to the lady in front of me which items were on sale and which items were not he had the patience and he took the time and he didn't get upset with her .

I was towed today from the Lake Meadows shopping center. It cost me $280 to retrieve my vehicle from 9330 S. Sangamon. I am a disabled senior citizen My disability placard fell from the window. I had to call a family member to come get me and drive me to the towing company. I told the towing customer service rep the disability placard was in the car and could I show it to him. He told me no. My daughter paid for the towing fee. This was an evil act to inflict upon a disabled senior citizen the day after Thanksgiving. It took away our joy. I have no plans to return to that parking lot of to celebrate Christmas. I am mentally damaged from this experience.

Lake Meadows is a good place to shop. I enjoy going to Jewel, though l don't go a lot. Getting my Ventra card reloaded is crucial to me. I've been going to the Subway lately. The people there are friendly and does a good job. I like the protein bowls . Walgreens is ok, but is too expensive. I also spend time at White Castle , Taco Bell and Culver's. Check out the butterburger. It's pricey, but delicious!!! I love White Castle, but are we going to actually pay a dollar for a slider? That boggles my mind. It's $.94 now. On the whole, Lake Meadows is a good place to shop, but be careful. It, like everywhere else, is pricey.

This is an open-air Mall. Meanie it is not enclosed. You must come back outside of one store to enter another one. They recently added a Taco Bell and the first Culver's in the city. There is also a large LA Fitness about 2 years ago. A Subway sandwich shop, a Baskin-Robbins, newly added Buffalo Wild Wings. Your biggest store is a 24-hour Walgreens. And a jewels grocery store. A beauty shop, to Rainbow kid shops, dtl Sporting Goods. A couple of other stores whose name I can't recall at this time. And a White Castle that sits in the parking lot off to itself.

  • Stephanie Arnold

Lake Meadows have been on 35th and King Drive for as long as I can remember it went from having Woolworths to goldblatt's to now we have Walgreens and LA Fitness wonderful Mall all sorts of stores we have jewels on the north side of the mall we have Walgreens on the south side of the mall we have Dunkin Donuts a nail shop Subway Beauty Supply Taco Bell Culver's and a host of other stores so come on over if you're in Chicago to 35th and King Drive Lake Meadows mall and have a family fun day

Lake Meadows shopping center is open and in full operation it seemed to me. I went into the Jewel osco grocery and some were masked, others were not. The customers were on their own until they were ready to pay up. This might be customary in Jewel osco now as the same is true of their 61st and Cottage Grove store. These are only Jewel stores that I have visited and the Roosevelt and Canal store, which is the best of the three.

  • Brandon Sterlingon

Surprised it has remained relevant and clean. But I assumed it being so close to the South Loop they had to make sure that is apparent as well as the quality of retailers must stay at a certain level in order to appease and placate to the dominant culture. Meanwhile, If This Were A neighborhood that was utilize predominately by one particular group of people, this shopping mall would have fallen into ruin eons ago

  • Val Booth

Was there to visit Jewel Osco where a major remodeling is underway. The temporary entrance and exit were a bit confusing with debris all around. The inside felt a bit claustrophobic as the process pushed some aisles together. However, the shelves were well stocked and the staff were making the best of the remodeling with helpful assistance and courtesy. Can't wait to see the finished product.

  • Victoria Gross

I love the new stores they have. It really changed a lot over the years. It's great for the neighborhood. A lot of elderly people live I. the area so it's easy for them to get what they need. And some College students live over there too. So it's great for them also. They have a big grocery store, clothing stores, restaurants. Everything a person needs in the area.

  • Nazmus Sakiba

There are several shops in this shopping center. For grocery there is Jewel Osco and Walgreen. For lunch and dinner there is Culvers, White castle, TacoBell, subway, dunkin donuts. For clothing there are three different shops, there is also a shop specially with cosmetic product. Beauty parlour, physical therapy, and also a gym is also allocated there.

  • Kesean Walker

Nice and Clean little shopping strip in Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago. The area has been refined. Some new business and some still around from old days. Plenty amenities for those in the neighborhood that wanna shop close to home. Jewel-Osco, Fashion Plus, Walgreens, Subway, Dunkin, LA Fitness, Homerun Inn, Culvers, Sola Salon etc. It's nice.

  • P L

I'm not sure about the whole shopping center, as I only went to the Jewel Grocery store. The store itself is pretty good. There a good variety of food. The store is clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Prices are competitive with other grocery stores in the area, for like or simular items.

  • aZION ISRAEL

Walgreens is NOT A place to shop unless you bring breakfast, lunch, dinner. There are almost never enough cashiers to serve the customers. Its ad if they coul care less if you shop there. For such a high volume store you'd think they want our business, and support, NOT JUST OUR MONEY? Gratefulness should be sincere!

  • Cedric McCay

Lake Meadows is a shopping center in the midst of change. It has added a new gym facility, repaved the parking lot, and is expecting a movie theater to open in the coming months. There is a lot of excitement about this place! It is very easily accessible by several bus lines, with plenty of parking in the lot.

  • Jessica Brown (ItsJussJess)

The parking lot kinda sucks other than that it's a one-stop-shop for lots of my errands. They have a gym, grocery store, drug store, ups, coffee shop, a small women's & girl's clothing boutique, and electronic store. There's also a bank, cellphone store, restaurants and a gas station across the street

  • MySloppy 2ndz

I frequent this plaza almost daily. It reminds new of taken a trip to an outlet mall. The plaza houses Four great, in and out, eatery's; a gym, a beauty supply shop, t-mobile, wal greens, some clothing shops, and a grocery store. It is practically the prototype for one-stop shopping.

  • RA (La Stork)

I go to LA fitness there. I like the ease of parking. Service at Subway is fine but the bathroom is DISGUSTING. I don't understand why it's filthy since customers must be buzzed in. I only went in to wash my hands and I could barely stand in there long enough to complete the task.

  • Sai Rama9

This place you can find Walgreens, SUBWAY, DUNK N DONUTS etc.. But this place is not secure at night times and crowded mass roam here. some body even ask you for money. COP always present in-front of SUBWAY. Thanks to CHICAGO COPS for protecting public from some dangerous demons

  • Yasmeen Brown

I use the Jewel Good store there and recently viditrd the new Culver restaurant. I get grest setvice st both locations. The Walgreens there is alwsys a grest spot gor me to pick up whatever I need. The location iz convenient yo my family's homes and I enjoy the good service.

  • Avery Mullins

Me and Lake Meadows Shopping Center has a history because my parents, brothers and sisters and my grandma has been shopping there since my childhood and in the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and 2000's and saw a lot of transformations of that center taking place during those years.

  • Aparupa Banerjee

This shopping center has Jewel Osco, LA Fitness, Walgreens, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin and Donuts, UPS Store (where you can return your Amazon order) and etc.! There's a bus stop just opposite of the Buskin Robbins where you can take 35 number bus towards Bridgeport.

  • Ankita Rai

It has two good grocery stores Jewel Osco and wall greens. Apart from that they have fitness center, salon, clothes and accessories shops. To eat they have Dunkin Donuts, dominoes etc. So don't have to go far as most of the things are already available here.

  • Ovani D

The male manager of City Fashion came by my dressing room and tried to come by again. I went off on him. Trying to peek at the women dressing. The dressing room door is too small and the mirror is to high. I advise you not to shop here. Won't be coming back.

  • Cabrini Queen

They have what you need, but don't be in a rush at Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts or Jewel. Subway is Subway, Rainbow is Rainbow, and the Cosmo Beauty supply is just that. Maxim Nails salon however is the best place to get your brows done by either Tran or Mari!!

  • Sandra Contrerarty

Continuously a pleasant encounter coming here. Visited Walgreen's to get some medicine on this excursion. Been to Subway, Jewel Food Store, White Castle, Wing Stop, Baskin-Robbins, Home Run Inn, The UPS Store, Taco Bell and Culver's previously.

  • Toni Rene Leslie

I love that there are so many food places in this center, but the Walgreens there is good for picking this up, but terrible for pharmacy services. I’ve since had to switch to another location even though this is down the street from my house.

  • Joyce Ross

I only shop at Walgreens, when there's a sale, because the prices r ridiculous. Well I visited the one on 35th& King Drive and while shopping I had to use the washroom really bad, but they only have one stall so I had wait at least 20 mins.

  • Ed T

I shopped at Walgreens, bad choice on my part. The need for improved customer service is great. No staff was available to assist with answering my questions, and the check out lines were lengthy. These issues were going on while the store

  • kiran Sai

It's good for India people staying south and price is also good not more near to all shopping also available nice to see and bus stop also very much but only 3 NUMBER bus for going anywhere downtown it's very full always so need alternate

  • James Boston

Always a nice experience coming here. Visited Walgreen's to pick up some medication on this trip. Been to Subway, Jewel Food Store, White Castle, Wing Stop, Baskin-Robbins, Home Run Inn, The UPS Store, Taco Bell and Culver's in the past.

  • Farah Hastings

I love coming here, it's my happy place. If you are looking for a pleasant shopping experience and aren't in the mood for the craziness of mega-malls, head on over to Lake Meadows Shopping Center. It's a breath of fresh air (literally)!

  • MERCI MERCI

The jewls never has chocolate chip cookies to bake for some reason ... You also cant be black with a bookbag even if you are well dressed you could be followed around like a theft its a better store with variety on 37th and king drive.

  • Karen Addison

I went to Walgreens!! Big mistake!! Stood in line with 3 others while one cashier was attending to a customer issue!! There was no urgency to assist us as we just stood there not a we will be right with you Nothing VERY POOR CUSTOMER

  • Terry Altman

Don't forget Rolling Meadows is a very old Community the Housing Development was starting to be built and completed after the Korean War for all the War veterans so I would say the mall itself needs a little up a little dusting off

  • Jerry Turner

The Tcf bank atm is old and out dated and it is so out dated that it does not even take deposits! WOW! The store needs a makeover badly the shopping center has new stores and jewels and eye sore it will be great for the community!

  • Harriet Youngblood

I ate at White Castle restaurant and afterwards I video taped the little birds playing in the dirt before getting on my way northbound by a CTA bus to return to meet no one or greet a few people along the way to my special place.

  • Sandra Leons

There are many different stores to stop in such as Walgreens, Jewel, Rainbow Clothing Store, White Castle,UPS Store, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Taco Bell, Restaurant,And many other store you may want to stop in to do your shopping

  • James JG Tate

Nice place but once they get rid of white castle it'll be less ghetto. They open too late and it's a lot of stragglers hanging around. The bathroom is the worst in white castle too, brings down the value of the shopping center

  • Sonjanita Moore

This area has gone down not sure why...the jewel there is one of the worst in the city (go to Mariano's down the street). Walgreens, White Castle and Dunkin Donuts are the only stores that have been there more than 10 years.

  • Albert Curtis

Good location. Easily accessible. The shopping is good, particularly the Jewel and White Castle. Stragglers are around, though. LA Fitness is also in the area. Walgreens is there as well. Be careful, especially at night.

  • Jawaharlal Moore

It's nice plenty place to park I don't see a lot of hulums down and stuff like that but got a lot of nice new modern stores in our places to eat my mother used to carry me here when I was a kid that's why I'm fond of it

  • arthur reliford

Still looking fresh after more than 6 decades serving the community. New Culvers restaurant adds a touch of class to the center. Safe and clean, with more than adequate parking. Needs a good clothing store and hardware.

  • Bruce Bruce

Though this is in a sketchy area of the city, they do have a nicely kept & clean LA Fitness. I would recommend checking it out & be cautious of the pan handlers & going to the Subway sandwich shop a few buildings down

  • Lady Victoria

Lake Meadows is a good place to shop locally for quick groceries and need to grab haircare and personal items. The biggest plus is the newly opened Culver's Restaurant for dining. Love their food and customer service!

  • Janice Baska

Took my hard-earned dollars to this beauty supply when another one was closed for the day. I got lots of good deals. The staff were courteous and helpful. The prices and products were great. I'll definitely be back.

  • Susan J.

The energy and stores here are great. Those who work in this strip are nice, helpful, outgoing. I haven't used the gym yet, but the beauty supply and women's clothing store are my favorites. You get excellent deals!

  • Whitney Washington

I hate that walgreens locks up soap, batteries, & certain items then when they unlock them they have to take it to the counter for you it belittles the customers and gives a certain uncomfortable shopping experience

  • Earl Parker (Big Poppa#1)

Neighborhood in transition and probably for the worse! Will soon start pricing out the long-time residents in exchange for a trendy crowd that wants to take over the neighborhood wholesale and gentrify it to death!

  • Felecia Johnson

The Walgreens had dusty products on the shelf and used products that were shelved with no top on it...Treseme holding mouse (hair product) was the only one left....so I had to choose another product instead …

  • Bobbie Shepherd

Some stores have closed in this mall but jewels and other stores are still open. Jewel's caring most items that you're looking for and they have young blacks working there a lot of them are students that's great

  • Jackie Thompson

Lake Meadows shopping area has with stood the test of time staying open to the community since it first opened, many, many years ago, satisfied the needs of citizens admirably, and still does, Yea!, Lake Meadows

  • Wesley Alford

The shopping center needs to run their daily reports and end of day sales for tax exemption purposes the cash register has the companies that have the companies and consumers financial information when buying

  • Keisha Berry-Wallace

It was recently remodeled and gave the place a modern look. LA Fitness was adding to the shopping center. Baskin-Robbins is always a favorite. There's a nail shop and a Walgreens and behind the shopping mall.

  • C. Han

I went to the UPS store in Lake Meadows. The employee was polite and listened to my request. She took care of my request quickly and correctly. Great first impression...I will go back to this location again.

  • Linda Allen

Lake Meadows many years at location. Shopping center was remodeled. the following stores and maybe some fast food Businesses.Jewel Grocery Store, Walgreens, White Castle. and Culver Burgers and other stores.

  • Pamela “Pammie” White

This Mall is the worst. I am in a motorized wheelchair, I ride around the mall with rocks, broken concrete, garbage and dirty, filthy pavements. I am ashamed to even call this Mall located in Bronzeville.

  • Eileen Sitko

It's been a long time since I been here but this PLACE HAS IT ALL jewel Walgreens places to eat a fitness center a place to shop for clothing then there's a library cross the street and more places to eat

  • tyrhonda statam

One stop shop mall with so many stores like the beauty supply store, Walgreens, LA Fitness, Jewel, White Castle, Taco Bell, nail salon, subway so you can do it all in one space how convenient is that!

  • duncv1

This is my neighborhood so I love it. Variety of stores and restaurants to visit from grocery store to clothing stores to beauty stores to nail shop to alot of restaurants to UPS store to fitness gym.

  • Janice Temple

LA Fitness has nice open space with friendly people. The Kids Club is warm, bright and cheerful. The new machines are plentiful. The spinning is nice size and so is the room for the fitness classes.

  • Jessie Benton

Taco this location is way to high on prices and didn't give enough meat for the prices was excited about going but won't be back.. Customers service no good.no one smile everybody looks depressed ..

  • Chuck Kennedy

I have been visiting this mall off and on for over fifty years. Stores have come and gone. There are a few that have been open over that period of time. Jewel and Walgreens for example.

  • Manisha Shrivastava

Nor everything is available there but daily necessary things are available. So if you are living in neighbourhood it is place to grocery or some fast food with a fitness center too.

  • Cherlyne Cheatam

Jewels has good selection in most common foods, however they would benefit from more open registers when the store is full or people. Sometimes the wait can be 10 minutes or more

  • LaDesiree Williams

Nice local shopping center with plenty of stores and restaurants. Good and convenient place for clothing shopping, grocery shopping and grabbing a bite to eat. Parking is great.

  • Stephanie Taylor

I've always shopped here a grew up around this shopping center when kentucky fried chicken us to be Duncan donuts I will always love this shopping center it's a part of my life

  • Michael West

Moved from Chicago 15 years ago, man has lakemeadow grown, looks pretty good, all the new stores. Looks like somebody's made a dog gone good investment in the neighborhood.

  • Toni L Campbell

This Jewel was newly renovated and is still a work in progress. Unfortunately, It was hit during the rioting. It has made a great recovery without upping their prices.

  • Mary Bradley

Ok shopping strip. There's a Jewel, UPS drop off, Fitness Center, Walgreens, White Castle, Baskin Robins, Subway and a few other stores there. Good size parking lot.

  • Aryanna Eakins

They have a little bit of everything in one little strip there. Cops always be posted though And most of the fast food around there always messes up your orders.

  • Candi Benford

Jewel's has a decent selection of produce and meat. Plenty of parking. Well supplied shelves with product. Good chicken ceasar salad and Cheap chicken Monday's.

  • Judy Jackson

It is remarkable how Lake Meadow changed from the 1970. Beautiful place with lots of stores/restaurants. I feel relative safe in the area. Great improvement.

  • Marilyn DePratto

Walgreens does not have a public bathroom, and every Walgreens I been to except the one in Lake Meadow's on 35th Street does not, will never go back there!

  • Carey Lee

It's along 3 bus routes. Ample parking is available. Jewel Osco and Walgreens are among the available shops. There's also Dunkin' Donuts, Subway and a gym.

  • Emmanuel Lawrence

The new improvements to the area makes you feel like you’re in a near downtown shopping center with outside eaters, modern shops and retrofitted shops.

  • deborah atkins

Went to foot locker the staff not helpful stand around just look at you till you go ask for help then when you do they walk away limited on she size

  • Monica Walls-Jennings

Love the shopping center been going up there for 18 years now to the nail shop And Dunkin' Donuts and H and R Block and beauty supply store

  • Emmanuel Ofosuhene

Stores here are awesome and can serve many purposes for people. The store's just needs to be alittle bit neater and well organized visually

  • chris Hardemon

Stopped by the white castle there and for it to be one o'clock in the morning the line moved pretty slow, but my order was hot and fresh
