My brother lives in the area and we have had to interface with the Lilydale police station staff a number of times and every time, we have been very happy with their skillful efficient service. I would confidentially say that the Lilydale Police force are some of the most efficient and dedicated police crew in Aus. They are helpful, professional and very good at what they do. Their public service etiquette is exemplary and their passion for the community is clearly visibly in the way they deal with the public and with incidents. It is unfortunate that being a police officer in this day and age is a thankless job and it is clear that they put up not only with constant insults, abuse and harrassment but also with having to manage childish and illegitimate domestic disputes between neighbours regarding CCTV cameras, dogs, parking etc, yet they handle it professionally and efficiently

We have called 000 for assistance in the matter of stolen and harrasment. No action taken by 000 operator. The tradesmen Chris from Chris's Australasia Services did threat on construction site directly to myself but no action taken by the 000 operator and no turn up. If the 000 operator listen to us without interrupting us then tradesmen Chris wouldn't dare to steal the machine or damage other part of building onsite. When our company and myself called the lilydale police. Officer Rust and Aaron from lilydale police station has provided professional public service and they hear us without interrupting and advised what to do. The best experience ever with the police department and highway patrol officers. Even our matter was less of related to police, they took it very seriously and given the best suggestion possible! I’ve been to other police stations but not one of them is like this one. Really love your work guys. Highly appreciate your services. Thank you

Little sister had her phone confiscated for evidence and they said we could have it back, the case is over, emails have been sent for over a month asking for it back and it seems they’re just hellbent on keeping it, who are you supposed to go to when the cops are the ones that take your property?

On July first I was there for some information at 4 pm and the woman behind the counter was un informative and very rude. Possibly the laziest station in Victoria.

Disgusting rude. Completely unhelpful. Pretty much hung up on me when I was expressing I felt my privacy had been breached and felt very uncomfortable

They look out for homeless folks pretty well. Much better than in most other places. Like good old country coppers.

Both police members I dealt with today were empathetic and professional. A credit to the Vic Police force.
