Hidden return policies - the customer is always wrong. Been shopping at the Austin Hwy Lowes since I moved here in 2010. I am mad and I am outta here. Taking my business somewhere else. I do a LOT of home improvements so they have got a lot of my business. Last month I ordered several hundred dollars worth of lawn seed etc for pick up in store. Lowes texted me and told me it was ready to pick up. When I got there they informed me that they actually did not have the stuff in stock and I would need to drive 45 minutes away to get it. I asked for a refund. Since I paid with a card it took 5 days to get that refund. I decided to go and see what lawn stuff they had and it turned out that they had everything and were just too lazy to look for it. A few weeks ago I bought an electric mower there. When I went to use it the second time the battery started leaking so I grabbed my receipt and went to return it. Lowes just started a new policy where they do not accept lawn equipment returns, even if you have a receipt unless you purchase their warranty plan. I informed them that my purchase was not even 30 days ago and they said it did not matter. I asked where I would have known about this new policy and the manager said its on your receipt. I looked and it sure as heck is not on the receipt and I pointed this out to which her response was it says to go to the website for more information. No we are not giving you a refund or exchange, you have to go through the manufacturer. I pointed out again that there is no way, when I bought this mower, that I would have known that I could not take it back because this was a new policy. The manager did not care and was not interested in doing anything to help. SMH Funny, Starbucks has their return policy printed on their receipts but Lowes can't figure out how to do that. SMH LOL Lowes has joined the long line of retail stores that hides behind half hidden policies and profit over customer relationship decisions. I will take my business somewhere else. Shop there if you like, you have a 50% chance of having a good experience.

My 1 star review is only based on the installer/delivery company (CRST - Cedar Rapids Steel Transport) that they use as a third party. CRST no-showed on the approved delivery date and they same the next 2 days. I am now sent to the bottom of the list for some reason and have to wait an additional 2 days. Usually not a problem to change dates unless you happen to be starting a new job in another state. There was zero accommodation made by Lowes and even worse customer service with CRST. I spoke with 4 separate Lowes employees who all confirmed that customers have been complaining about CRST from the get. I have changed my departure date to accommodate CRST. I BnB my house, so the dishwasher install is required. Fortunately, so I thought, The Store manager (Steve, I wasn't provided a last name) happened to be there that day. He chose not to speak with me today. I did speak with another manager of some sort who assured me he would call me back today, did not happen. Lowes needs to fire CRST and hire anyone else, they surely could not be any less. I will no longer purchase (and probably just stop shopping) until they change their installer / delivery company. I have been a loyal Lowes customer for 20 years. You treat Veterans with a higher regard, and I've always appreciated that. Even so with your Veteran Employee's. Google CRST customer reviews and you will see all the complaints. Since they are a 3rd party, Lowes are able to "wash" their hands of the install / delivery process. Please, please, please, someone in the decision making process read this and take head. Please, if you do read this, reach out to me, I will provide additional details.

We wandered around the store for about 20 minutes with an empty basket obviously confused as to where to find 2 items that we needed. There where employees standing in the front of the store while I went back and forth looking at the signs on each aisle. I finally stopped an employee who then directed me to where I would find the 2 items Maybe The 1st item which was clear caulking was relatively easy to find and in the place where he said it would be. A cutting knife however was much more difficult to locate. I had another item waiting for me at customer service so I went to that desk. There were 4-5 more employees there none of whom knew where to find the knife. They paged another employee who said he would be just a few minutes. After over 20 minutes we were still waiting when and older lady who does the cutting for acrylic panels told me she could show me what I probably needed. The knife was all the way at the bottoms of the wall and not easily visible. Some of the employees were very helpful, some just basically were too busy chatting with each other and a couple were busy putting a shelving unit together. I've never gone to Home Depot without being greeted and asked if I needed help finding things. These huge warehouse/home improvement/construction stores are not well set up and confusing to say the least. But Home Depot has always been more customer friendly and helpful. If they had had the item I needed I most certainly would have gone there.

I went in to grab a few things and the experience over all was fine until I had to speak to the employees. An employee named Marie working the self checkout was absolutely terrible. She had the worst attitude and terrible customer service. She was upset because one of my items didn't have a barcode on it(not my problem as I don't work there and put the stickers on the items). Then she called for assistance three times and it took forever before someone could come and help. When the employee from lawn and garden finally arrives, he asks me where I found the item. I explained that it was in lawn and garden and he proceeded to tell me that I would have to leave my basket and two children unattended the front of the store to walk him to the item and "maybe grab one with a barcode." Thankfully my husband was out of the restroom and able to stay with our children while I went and grabbed a different item. I walked way ahead of the employee and showed him where the item was. He acted like he knew what he was doing but clearly had no clue then proceeded to have me grab a differnt item with a barcode on it and take it with me. I was so frustrated and shocked at the incompetence and poor customers service of these employees. I know what Lowe's stands for and the expectation of their employees to offer outstanding customer service. I even witnessed Marie belittle a customer that had her son translating for her because she didn't speak English. Absolutely shameful.

Recently purchased a dishwasher here and overall was not very satisfied with the experience. If it wasn't a last minute purchase to beat the granite installers, I would have gone anywhere else. First problem was that the sales rep was pushing hard for me to buy an installation kit that was clearly not needed. Point blank asked if the items came with the dishwasher and was told not to count on it, should just buy it for piece of mind. The box clearly showed it came with the items. Yeah, I can return it if not needed, but seems like the tactic is shady and relies on the percentage of people to lazy to return it later. Second, after loading it up on the dolley to bring to the front, the box fell off and slammed into the ground. I assume since I was in front on him, he thought I didn't notice? I asked if it fell and was informed almost, but he caught it. Spoke to my friend Maury and he informed me that this was a lie. I told him to get a different one or refund my payment. Based on the shenanigans I asked him to leave this one in view so I knew I was not just giving him a 5 minute break to come out with the same one. I know my business means nothing in the big corporate picture, but personally I have stopped shopping at this location and will never buy an appliance at Lowes again.

First off my initial experience with an employee by the name of Sebastian was fantastic and he and his wonderful customer service would deserve a 5 star review. He was instrumental in helping me do a phone order where the stores service fell completely apart was when I arrived for curbside pickup. The young lady on the phone was annoyed from the moment I corrected her in reciting my own phone number back to me. I arrived for my pickup at 5:30 and saw two other cars that arrived after me get serviced first. I called back after waiting patiently for 40 minutes in my car asking again for my items. A young lady with blue tint in her hair told me my order took a long time to gather up as the items were not pulled, I didn’t understand this as Sebastian implied the items were pulled. It is now 6:32pm and I am still waiting in my car as one of the items was missing. It’s unfortunate that what started off as a fantastic experience fell apart so tragically by your curbside service. 7 pm and still waiting curbside , I am literally in tears. The only reason I am giving this store a 3 is because the employees are working during these times but the curbside experience is a negative 5 star! 7:18 pm and still waiting.

I don't know where to begin with this store but customer service here is horrible by all standards. The worst part is its coming from the "managers" not the associates. A woman by the name of Penny falsely claims she's the store manager when she's not. They play that "oh well I'm the manager when the store manager is away" thing. I was specific in asking for the store manager not the manager on duty. Then later when I find out who the store manager is (Steve Anderson) this man another manager by the name of Jimmy sticks us in his pocket while he tells us to wait to get contact info for the store manager for about 30 min. All while being recorded of him talking harshly about us. Literally laughing to another employee that he's letting us just sit there because we are trying to escalate an issue to the store manager. Steve of you're reading this you need to contact us. You assistants are acting out of control both Penny and Jimmy. I am going to mention the associate James who is an appliance specialist we are told is doing his job and his part. It's sad to see your associates are doing better jobs than your managers. Seems like it might be time to flip those tables and do some promoting and demoting.

Went to buy a window glass replacement. Got it cut to size and I had my one year old daughter with me in the cart. Employee that cut the window for me did not offer to carry it to the car for me and failed to tell me that it wasn’t a good idea to have it sitting in cart. I paid and as I was walking out of the store the glass cracked. It did not fall, it simply cracked. He did not offer me a replacement but instead charged me again and this time he carried it out to my car for me. This was a really disappointing experience seeing how we’re expecting our third baby in two weeks and are limited on funds. A $30 trip to Lowe’s turned into a $60 trip due to employee’s lack of customer service. That could’ve been a box of diapers. Sadly it’s about rain so we need to install this window glass asap and have no time to sit around to escalate the situation. EDITED TO ADD: we ended up taking it back because window cutting employee cut the measurements wrong. He cut it a few fractions of an inch too long and too short. This time another employee cut the glass and charged us nothing. Shame on the first employee for putting us through this.

I shop here all the time. while I'm waiting for my crew to arrive with my truck I went to get safety vests for them. As I'm browsing an employee walks behind me at the key station and gives me a dirty look. Her name was Maria , then out of nowhere she says "stop opening them. You don't need to open them they're all the same size." Loud and rudely. There's a better way to communicate with customers. I let her know I'm not opening them and no they're not the same size. Different brands have different sizes. She continues her rant in a rude matter. "well you don't need to open them, y'all all always open them and you don't need too " I show her , this one was open and I looked at it and it's in the wrong bag, don't worry I'm not opening them. Si would've let it go but she went on for several minutes repeating "y'all always open them , y'all think you know but you keep opening them. I told her she could stop and she kept on. I went to ask for a manager and 12 min waiting and no one showed up. I told the cashier supervisor up front. I ended up not buying the vests or the lumber and sheetrock we needed for the job.

I had the best customer service yesterday evening. I spend over an hour looking for a reply bolt for a tool I had. Teri in customer service was great in pointing me in the right direction. LD and Steven ended up spending an hour helping me replace this part as I had no idea what I was doing in the replacement of this bolt. I did come across one issue as I was waiting for LD to get some tools to help me out, a associate named Brian , taller man with white hair comes down the isle helping another customer fussing about how the bolts are all out of order and people are stealing his bolts and just putting them in there pockets and looks at me insinuating I'm messing up his area or I was a thief. I countinued on to the power tool station with LD and he helped me resolve my issue. As I headed to self checkout to make my purchases Brian continues to walk out of isle 2 where the bolts are to pass me and make sure I was paying for my $.13 bolt which I was in the first place. He made me uncomfortable the way he handled himself. All of the staff have always the been so great.

Enjoyed the Halloween decorations, however, we had to find a motorized cart ourselves and look up/down all aisles with no one even asking to help. This was 3 years ago. Forward 12/8/2021 Went to get a xmas tree with my daughter and grand daughter, and discovered Tony. This young man was jovial, happy to help, and gave us extra parts of the trees for my daughter’s daycare for craft day. He was told not to put trees in peoples cars (understood) but I joked with him putting a scratch on my peeling paint job, and we had a good laugh and helped us anyway. His overall assistance and help should not go unrewarded by management. This is why people come back to this Lowe’s because of employees like him. Thank you Tony. The cashier (I forgot her name) was helpful too when we called twice. She did seem more intune to Lowe’s rules and the gate closing on time though. We gave both of your outstanding employees a Christmas tip. Thank you Lowe’s!

I Was there April 6th paint department associate was great help to make adjustments on the paint until We got a really good matching paint color I was able to paint the drywall patches only Thank you very much! Updated review upon second interaction I dropped my five star review because Today May 25th I actually have a not too good experience, first time bought 2 cans of paints , was assisted by the painting associates to match the color one can of paint was a close match but the second one was very very different so I had to comeback and buy a third can , I asked the same associate to please sell me a can of only 1 quarter of the cheapest brand , he said that he can only sell the expensive brands on 1 quart of a gallon cans so I had to buy an extra gallon , I spent way more than estimated for a small touch up project

Frank F is "the man" to look for in the tools section! He is your go to guy when you need to look for an item, or have a problem to tackle. He recommended Grab It Speed Out Pro, with flying colors, and it did the job like he said. He is an honest person. He didn't steer me wrong, or recommended an exaggerated price tool to do the job. Thank you Frank for being at the right place at the right time. Ahem, Lowe's, someone needs a raise,....definitely did a job well done. Frank F represents Lowe's with professionalism, sincerity, knowledge, helpfulness, approachability and a friendly customer service smile. Way to go Frank F! I told you I would do a review for all your help! Thank you! Good luck on that raise. I'll see you again. GOD bless. ***THANK YOU, for acknowledging my review!***

Employee lied to me and my daughter to get her to sign up for a Lowes credit card. He said she would get 20% off her purchase plus her 10% Military discount. I asked numerous questions...he assured us 30% off her entire purchase. She signs up for card, at checkout we find out the 20% off has a limit of $100. Also can not be combined with Military discount. Guy lied and lied and lied just to get her to apply for a card. We informed a Manager ... I appreciate Lowes giving Military members and veterans a discount. I use it every time I shop there. We were very busy buying a materials for a new house in San Antonio where my daughter was just stationed. Guy wasted our time...and did I mention that he lied and lied and lied to us?

Zero Stars! Worst experience ever. Ordered a door back in December, supposed to deliver to the store. Have been contacted 4 times since, each time went to the store, rental ready to take home, only to find out it was missing a part of something was wrong with it! The first time we made the mistake of trusting then, taking it back to see it was is used condition! Second time we checked upon arrival, missing a part, but they said they could not simply order the replacement parts, had to order the entire thing again. Third time, almost identical. Fourth time, so done. Not to mention it is impossible to get anyone when calling to assist us! Unbelievable.

Extremely disappointed in Lowes, ordered a refrigerator on 10 Nov with an order delivery for the 23rd. 23rd comes and goes, call customer service and am told the 3rd (today) would be the new delivery. Now it won't be until the 16th of December and I am now told that the fridge was out of stock back when I purchased it (Was told that there were multiple in stock at another warehouse hence the original delivery being 13 days). Also have to mention how painful the customer service is, takes about 4 to 5 transfers in order for someone to find your order. Process design is pretty lack luster... Edit: 4th pushback, now the fridge won't be in until 9 Jan

  • David Valenzuela

They must be having the same supply issues that everyone else is experiencing. Everything on my list was out of stock and not available at any location. Every year at this time they have the Big Easy chair for sale and I wanted to get one for this year. The website showed that they have some available but once again I was lied to by the website and I wasted another trip to Lowes. I get so tired of using the site to help me shop but once I get there they cancelled whatever I wanted and I waste so much time waiting for someone to help me at the item pickup line. I don't know why they don't have more people available to assist with online orders.

  • Andre Gonzalez

Store was good management experience was bad. So this tall older short haired red head with glasses mistaken for a manager is obnoxious and rude. I wanted to buy a gas grill from inside the store and shouldn't wouldn't let me. Stated I'd get one from outside. Like many reviewers before me, I noticed they weren't covered and were weather worn. She was beyond rude as in does not even look at you when you are talking to her. When she does decide to look down at you to acknowledge your existence she'll talk to you in a condescending tone. This "manager" definitely could benefit from some sensitivity training if there was ever a use for it.

  • Gregory Peck

Went in to purchase 2 25' rolls of clear Flex Tape. Finding the product we easy and checkout was quick. Lowes has pretty much any thing I need for fix ups and repairs. Don't understand why products are for sale but accessories for them are not! I was looking at a 5-3/8" circular saw, but there were not any blades with greater than 16 teeth. To cut small 1/4 round trim without tearing it to shreds you need 40-60 teeth or greater. Have luck finding that for the compact circular saw I was trying to buy. At one store, they had blades, but no saws! And they refused to sell me one of the two display models. Can't win for losing...

Went to Lowe’s on Austin Highway on January 20th. I found all the items that I was looking for by myself and when I asked for help I was very satisfied with the service. For this reason alone I would have given them 5 stars. Unfortunately when I went to pay things changed.I was second in line. As I waited for my turn I saw a big rat crossing the main corridor hiding under the cashier’s area two cashiers away from me (by the display of ceiling fans). I mentioned it to my cashier and he just ignored me. I expected for him to acknowledge my comment and tell me he was immediately contacting management! Yuck!!!!

  • Thomas Jenkins

Do not get your paint at this store. Was thinking of posting a video of how many times I’d go needed help mixing paint or spray cans and waiting over 15 min with other costumers as they call overhead for assistance and no one comes 6 times Ive waited for paint at this location after 4pm and no one comes no matter how many times the poor self check out person calls. Not even the manager comes . If it’s this one girl working at the paints she’ll be there but any other employee and nothing. I’m getting my paints at another location even tho this is closer. Don’t waste your time or money.

This home center has everything you need for your home or business needs and designs. They’ve always ready to assist you in any way they can at anytime. They also have people that can and will even set up your purchases, put down a particular flooring of your choice, install any appliance you buy from them, beautiful rugs that you can have them hang up for you perfectly. I know they guarantee their work, and it’s excellent. You can trust any of them that come to your home or place of business , because they respect and do their job to the best of their professional ability.

I purchased a grill on 8-30-18, I elected to have it assembled and pick it up today 9-1-18. I arrived and went to the service desk where Shannon was amazing!!! If not for Shannon and her helpful attitude and empathy I would have left in a much different mood. They didn't have my grill assembled and couldn't find the one i purchased. They ended up giving me someone else's that wasn't going to pick it up until 9-12-18 because they would have more in by that time. Altogether I was there roughly 2 hours. Again, if not for Shannon it would have been a very bad two hours.

  • Maggie Mathis

Not satisfied with today's visit, especially with the attitude form the woman who worked in the paint section. She made a point to tell my husband and I more than once about the other customers, it being hard to leave so she came to open the spray paint cage. Each time I tried to tell her "we understood" or "It's okay." She would remind us about 'other' customers. After a few times with a snippy attitude, I told her very politely. "We have waited patiently and so can they." We were also customers who deserved the same respect as those 'other' customers.

  • Gilberto Vazquez

This location is well lit, clean and stocked with work and home project materials. It is a large store and for that matter, most store clerks can't help you locate specific products but they can guide you to the right area. I have come across some questionable employees that have no idea what products are in stock or where they are located. Ye overall, I have not had a bad experience there. Lowe's also support the Boy Scouts of America since families generally sale flavored popcorn at the entrance/exit on most weekends.

  • davina sampson

So I would shop at Lowes and home depot. The reason I will NEVER shop at home depot again is because I needed a piece of plywood cut to fit in my car and was told I needed to pay extra for it then they told me they couldn't do it but that I could cut it myself in the parking lot. I made a beeline to Lowes, told them what I just experienced at home depot and they told me they would happily cut whatever I needed. I'm not young anymore so I need these things done for me, it's nice I can depend on Lowes for that.

  • Elizabeth B.

It's depressing, a store that peddles nursery plants and even trees, not having any trees shading its parking area. Not a scrap of green to relieve the eye, even though there are empty curbed islands that must have been meant for trees, at some point. There are doubtless trees for sale in the garden center that have remained unsold, been discarded. It would be a matter of minutes to plant one ... I go out of my way to go to Home Depot instead. Its landscaping is not much better - but it is a *little* better.

  • VanV0rtex

Worst Lowe's I've ever been in. The store had an unkempt atmosphere about it - i.e. There were only two or three carts in the inside corral and the parking lot was full of carts. There were other issues as well. The employee's were fairly unfamiliar with what was in the store and gave bad advice about something fairly simple. Plus, they didn't have the items they were supposed to have based on the website for that store. Disappointing. Not what I've come to expect in a Lowe's. Ended up going to Home Depot.

  • Eric Gail Carpenter

Tonight, I was reminded that Lowe's stocks some cute men's outerwear this time of year. Went to the home improvement center for home and garden merchandise...purchased a cute, new fur-lined blue jacket. Worth the $45 I paid for style and color...love the cigarette pocket in the upper sleeve...and the cozy, uniquely cut fabric are fashionable features that makes it a steal! I liked all the jackets and vests. Honestly, I refrained from the impulse of being 1 of everything. They're that appealing.

  • Misha Laws

A little disorganized, was looking for a certain item. On isle 61 two employees didn't know where it was. So I asked where this item was located. Showed it on my phone that this location had one. So instead of trying to help find it .I was told it must have been sold already. Then I asked why does it say there is one still in inventory. Was told the computer is always saying that stores have stuff and they don't really have it. Made a special trip for nothing what a waste of Diesel.

  • Christopher Canela

We were at Home Depot and ran into such a rude employee. When we asked him for help he replied “this is not my department” and walked away. We decided to leave and come to Lowes We ended up being helped by a very friendly and professional associate named Julio. Julio greeted us and answered every question we had and even walked with us to find the exact items we had been looking for . It’s employees like Julio that are true assets to any company! Just thought y’all should know !

  • robert waddell

Doing their best, I'm sure. But somehow or another the webpage can't keep up with actual inventory. About half the orders I have placed end up with items listed as available for pick up being cancelled minutes later. The really infuriating part is that it is usually after I have selected a different store that is clear across town because the website says my local store doesn't have that item but that a store twenty miles away has the item(s) in stock. And then doesn't.

  • Janie Escobar

We were hoping to contact the appliance department because we were aiming for some information about a stove we wanted to buy, but, instead we came across redirect to redirect. In between my husband and I, we were redirected 9 times in total!!! Why are you open until 9 pm when no one ever addresses your customers or potential customers?? We've decided to take our business to Home Depot. Thank you, Lowe's for helping us decide who is the better home improvement store!!!

  • Jamila Reyes-Gutierrez

Shannon in appliances is just amazing. She is kind, respectful, and took the time to address our needs. We went in tonight for a stove, since ours broke suddenly. We had two exhausted and grumpy kids with us and we were stressed and exhausted as well. She was such an amazing help and even though they ended up not having what we needed in stock, she took the time to search the back room and helped us find it at another store. Amazing! Give this woman the biggest raise!

  • Lisa DF

Very helpful employees over the phone and in person at the garden center. The curbside pickup didn't work out for me as the heavy bags of soil can't be ordered online, but it was very quick and easy to go in and show the readily available employees what I wanted. They loaded it into my car very quickly and I was out of there in 10 min. total. I will shop at this Lowe's from here on as my experience at a different Lowe's was the opposite. Must be good management!

  • Rose Marie Farias

Went to this Lowe's to buy filters for my AC unit. Size I needed was not within reach but I could see them up on the very top shelf. I walked back up to the cashier stand and ask her to page someone to help me which she did. Waited 10 minutes. No one ever came so I grabbed a guy walking by and asked him for help. He also paged someone to come help me. I waited another 10 minutes. No one ever came. I walked out, went to Home Depot and bought what I needed.

  • Lisa Aaron

I would like to commend Lowes on Austin highway in San Antonio for hiring people like Alexander, who was so attentive and accommodating. I encountered him as soon as I walked into the garden center and he asked me if I needed help. He helped me load 10 bags of mulch onto a cart and then when I was ready to leave he helped me load them onto the car. He was very polite and articulate. You need more Alexander’s! Excellent employee

  • Alexander Reyes

This is my regular hardware store since most small chain places have gone extinct. The staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable, but some of the newer employees have a " not my department" attitude. I have had several keys cut here and all have worked properly. I have also had paint mixed here to match colors (with varying levels of success) I prefer the selection at Home Depot, but this place is a close second!

  • Basi H

Lowe's is a bit out of the way from our home but the service there is worth visiting and purchasing from. Recently we bought a window AC unit because our central air unit broke. We were helped by more than 3 individuals, kudos to Amber and Don in particular for their patience and help and their kindness during the 3 days we visited before making up our minds on which to purchase. Workers here are always helpful.

  • Patricia McGrath

Always a good experience at Lowe's and they're very helpful. So with the shoppers I happen to be in with my dog who I have no idea why but decided to poop in the aisle nobody around so I'm standing there so nobody steps in it and trying to wave down a salesperson and somebody who saw me went over didn't ask went over to one of the counters and got me paper towels and Lysol wipes to clean it up with I love Texas

  • Jenny Thompson

I go to this location frequently for all my home care needs. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Store is staffed with adequate number of employees to assist when you need them, but they don't bug you if don't. I appreciate that they have mylowes rewards that allows 10% discount on every purchase for Active Duty Military and Veterans. It's nice to see a company honoring our Soldiers. Thank you, Lowe's!

  • Henry Hernandez

This location is slow and run by racist old people who will not exchange their products without a receipt because they believe you stole it. Or because they are old and incompetent when it comes to processing and exchange. They say even with debit charges you can't get cash back that their system sends your money back to your bank and will take 4 days. They should change the name of the company to BLOWS

They have almost have everything you need and can special order things, that are not in stock. They can give you names of installers. That is a big plus, because they can offer installers, they know will get a job, done right. When they are really busy, you have to wait to check out. Sometimes, if you are in a hurry, this can be a little frustrating, but other than that, I continue to shop at Lowe's.

  • Anna Sharpe

This is not the helpful place. Two associates gave me vague answers to where an item was and a third tried her best to help but the app kept giving false information. It took 20 minutes of wondering around to find the part I wanted. The part was advertised online as $2 but at checkout it was $17. They didn’t want to give me the military discount because I didn’t have the app. I won’t be going back.

  • Ann Hendrix

I do not often give rave reviews, especially about home improvement stores. I had the best experience at Lowe’s. I was overwhelmed by the long list from the plumbers. April got us organized at the pro desk and George M. took me from area to area collecting the product numbers for checkout. The items were just delivered by friendly gentlemen. This is how retail was meant to be - customer service.

  • Lorijo Ernst

Garden center had plant full size carts blocking 4 of the isles we wanted to look through for plants. Closeouts on end caps were ok. Full 6 foot to be placed racks blocking isles was not acceptable. My husband did not have the energy and if in a handicap cart would not have any access to half the outside garden area. This is a heavily visited area Veterans. How do they navigate this place?

  • Rhonda Andrew

Nobody to help with appliances. Not even the manager wanted to help. Person in appliances sat on the phone for over 15 minutes and didn't call for additional help even when it was obvious there were other customers waiting to be helped. They dont deserve the one star I gave. Plenty of employees in gardening though. Here, again 10/15/19 and no one to help in appliances. 2023-still sucks.

  • alysha huff

Rubin made my day! After being refused service at Home Depot he made me feel like I was someone who mattered. Helped me find the perfect lumbar I needed for my painting class to build my frames with. AND to top it off he helped me measure the inside of my car to make sure it fit! This is the best customer service experience I’ve had at Lowe’s and I will forever be a customer.

  • Jennifer Curfman

Although this Lowe's is smaller it was jam packed with beautiful rugs, wall paper and decor. Excellent customer service from Marlon in the flooring department. He went above and beyond helping me find back splash and patiently looking up prices and stock. Although this store is 10 miles away I will definitely visit this location versus the Lowe's that's 2 miles from home.

  • millificentX

I went to Lowe's to find some food chain oil for my camping stove. They don't have any. It was very confusing and I was not able to find what I was looking for. They're very good with finding everything else for household and outdoor needs but not this particular thing. I have been having a hard time trying to find it because I would like to go camping one of these days.

  • Edward Miller

My first time visiting Lowes I m a brand new homeowner So of course I need plenty of yard tools With my getting a credit card from Lowe's, i received a hundred dollar discount on my purchases. I m super happy with my visit and plan on returning a lot more. My cashier ,Patricia Was so nice and helpful. No stress and very understanding with business. Thank you, Patricia!

  • John Joseph

When this store first opened the customer service was exceptional--employees would always stop & ask if they could help. Today I pushed the HELP ME button in plumbing 4 times & no one responded. Finally, a friendly customer who was a plumber helped me out. This was after being the 6th person in line out the door for the 1woman working returns, which took OVER ONE HOUR.

  • Crystal Leggett

The guy in the garden center today at checkout was definitely not any help! I asked why a price on a clearanced plant was different then what was marked (higher) and he, without any effort of wanting to resolve my issue, just stated "do you want to buy it?" It was clear that he wasn't about to do ANYTHING other than checkout. I'll go to a different store from now on.

  • Katlyn Popham

It was Great! We went pretty last minute before closing and the employees were still very helpful and gave us pointers and advice for things they didn't carry in store that would be more beneficial to what we needed. We didn't get what we needed but still walked out spending over $100. Lowes has us cursed to always spend lots of money there. Can't wait to go back!!

  • Black Diamond

Nice friendly employees that don't mind us when I take my 70 yr old senior in to look around and pick up an item he needs. The only thing I don't like about these trips to Lowe's is that it is an old man's playground that ends up being a learning lesson about 100 different items & what their purpose is. Lol Basically turning an 1/2 hour trip into 2 hour chore.

  • Keith Taylor

Absolutely dreadful. Seems like most of the employees actively try to avoid customers. Waited almost an hour for someone to help me with a large purchase that was stocked on the third tier of the racking. Don't waste time pushing the "need help" button. Just go strait to the store manager, oh wait that didn't work either. Just avoid this Lowes all together.

  • Eljavier Chainson

I wasted whole afternoon and tried paying with Google pay. Their outdated payment systems would not allow me to pay. I had to leave all behind after 1.5 hours attempting to find some customer service resolution. Since when did management lose the ability to manage a situation ? The store is basically leaderlless as no one can resolve the problem.

  • Phil J

I don't live near this Lowe's , but it's the only one I like to shop at. I like the layout and the service at this store. It seems to have everything I ever need or want and the yearly specials are worth a trip by themselves. Love their lawn and garden section. They do keep it clean and up to date. Closeout garden specials are a hidden gem too.

  • adrian r

So hit or miss on the customer service. Sometimes employees can't be bothered and sometimes you have 2 or 3 employees coming at you at the same time. The group they have working in the window department needs loads of help. They wouldn't look up from their phones, acted like we were not even there, and not once asked if we needed help.

  • Lyle Williams

Marlon was great. Approached me when I obviously needed help (not always the case at Lowe’s or Home Depot) and patiently helped locate an item that I thought as out of stock. He found it and retrieved it for me from the storage area above the shelves and was courteous and friendly. Excellent customer service from Marlon! Thank you.

  • Tina Calderon

Had an issue with a Blue Rhino propane tank, just needed an exchage for a tank that would work. 3 associates were no help and only aggravated the situagion. Finally found Terri (working the paint dept) she helped calm my husband down with amazing customer service, so between Terri and Manager Pam it was all resolved happily …

  • Curtis J

Ordered a part off the web. It showed up 3 weeks later. The cashier was unable to process my credit card, they called their IT department who said I needed to call my credit card company. When I called the credit card company there was no issue with the card. Lowes could still not process the payment. Complete amateur hour!!!!

  • Sandy Don Sternadel

I shop at both of the Big Box stores and if one doesn't have exactly what I want the other usually does. Clean store, the associate that waited on me was leaning down on the counter looking at her phone but managed to get me some help. I'd move on from her. Other than the less than average service, I got what I needed.

  • Courtney Pelzel

This Lowe's is very clean and is rarely too crowded although I don't go during Peak shopping hours. I have just about everything I need for any of my projects and the staff is easy to find an available. They respond to the button to push for the Department's rather quickly so I did get service that was very good.

  • Will Yumwall ace

I'm in the store right now 6/27/23 1:58 pm. There are 4 handicap carts that DO NOT WORK. some PLEASE fix them. I need a double hip replacement and I'm forced to walk using a basket as a walker. I don't understand how they can just be left there and not fixed. I was here last week. Same thing. Some do their Job

  • Alejandra Zapata

So lovely. Went to Lowes after getting ZERO help from Home Depot, and I loved it. Walked in, everything was tidy and organized. Found what I needed in less than a minute and cashiers were very friendly. Lowes will now be my go to for any and all my home improvement projects in the future.

  • matthew tompkins

I have two federial issued identification cards that says I'm a veteran, so why does lowes need me to sign up to receive a veteran's discount? Stop pandering this so-called veterans discount, It's a marketing ploy and you only want to send us marketing BS. This is phony philanthropy.

  • Ramon Falcon

I advise you not to buy electrical appliances in this unit, I bought a washer and dryer, and the price of the offers is not the real price, then the dryer that they brought to the house did not work, they told me that they would call me the other day to replace it and they also lied

  • David Hernandez

Michelle really impressed me with a great attitude and work ethic. She helped me with a clothes dryer in appliances. You may think no big deal it's her job.I went to several other Lowes and received bad customer service and didn't want to look in warehouse to put eyes on inventory.

  • Becky Jasmin

Great Lowes, we came here to look at lawnmowers, we didn't even look for an employee yet but Jay walked right up to us and asked if we had questions, which he answered very professional and honest.. everything is well organized and pretty easy to find. Rarely lines at the checkout

  • Lawrence Baca

Came in for the garden center and Jonathan was very helpful as well as knowledgeable. We used to live in San Antonio and this was our Lowe’s. It’s good to shop in a store where we know where stuff is located. It was really nice to see the Christmas merchandise on display as well.

  • Rebekah B.

The one afro American man in tools acted like me and my husband was stealing very unpleasant experience but thank God Lewis saved us.. we bought a drill thanks to him.. give Lewis a raise please he's a top 10.. he's the only good person we saw that even asked us did we need help.

  • John M Ramirez

Shelly in paint was awesome! She helped me select a color and got a combined 8 gallons of 3 colors together for me and was patient with me even though it was near closing time. Two other associates were very helpful and I saved 5% off a $365.00 purchase using my Lowe's card.

  • Cyndi-Marc Levesque

Great staff, reasonable prices, well maintained store, with well stocked shelves. Just so the military and retirees know Lowes no longer gives a 10% across the board discount. There are no longer discounts on appliances, lumber, plumbing, or on any sales items.

  • Rudy Cavazos

Second weekend we come for the DIY with Arron and Derrick on Saturdays. These guys are awesome and love what they do. Great ideas for your home and for free on how to do it! Highly encourage anyone and everyone to attend. Fonzie the manager was super cool also.

  • tereza korotkova

I love this store. Emanuel was working with me. He is truly cares about customers and what they need. I did get to meet some of the other team members and they were also as friendly and helpful, upbeat and professional as Emanuel. Highly recommend this place!!!

  • Catherine Mehaffy

Angel in the paint department expertly matched a drip from a can of seven year old paint, so we could finish painting the exterior of our home. He was polite, and intelligent and he is also a retired veteran of the US army! Thank you for your service Sir.

  • Abe Torres

I came to buy plants for my patio. Very nice selection of medium sized plants. Staff was very friendly, prices were reasonable, and the store was very neat and clean. Found some great plants and picked a few either things too. Plants are growing great.

  • Dave Weder

Won’t price match with Home Depot. Price was $400 more, Home Depot wouldn’t be in stock till following week. Paid 2.2K for a refrigerator and had to sit by another 30 minutes for them to bring it out from the back. F- for customer service here.

  • Mark Gansert

The quality of personal service here is sub par. Along with corporate policies it would be better to spend your money elsewheres. Do not believe their fake patriotism. It merely a show. You can get better deals at HD than at this location.

  • Lupe Gurrola

I bought a riding lawn mower and my entire experience has been the best. More than I expected. The Manager was the best and so were all the other people who helped me. I didn't like Lowe's but this experience has changed my mind …

  • Carlos Araiza

Lowes customer support is disappointing. Every time i require assistance having someone help you is hard. Staff avoids you and turn the cheek. What ever happened when lowes first opened up, staff was always on it and helped. Not anymore.

  • Tracy Davis

Lowe's has a better selection of plumbing than the other DIY Store that's only a mile away from me. I found something I'd been looking for at Lowe's. Their selection of plants is also bigger. Both stores have helpful employees.

  • Aresia Hamilton

James is truly amazing! If you need to buy any appliance, ask for him. He gave the best recommendations, was very informative, and funny too! Thank you so much, as long as James is around, you’ve got a life long customer!

  • ROY TREVINO

Been here plenty of times. Today had a mission of a washer and dryer set. Jay set things in motion and got us what we wanted. Great deal and no strings attached. Process was easy and painless. Superb service!

  • Sandrea Zedhkeia

Bought a dryer in store that was supposed to be delivered on Monday. No one bothered to communicate or reach out for any changes. Now, I have to wait until Friday because nobody can’t do their job right.

  • Ona Gonyon

It was OK. Prices were a bit high on the cleaning supplies. We did not find what we were looking for. But it did not help that we did not know the name of the item. Employees were polite. …

  • Heidi Isales

Stoped here to ultimately use the ladies room and pick up a rake. Place was pretty dead which was great, able to move around freely and had 50% some holiday decorations (including Disney decor)

  • John Joseph

How it has changed! No employees to help anywhere. ZERO cashiers open...only self serve check out which I hate. Cutting staff this much is a death spiral for any retailer. Now to Home Depot.

  • Carla Arndt

This Lowe’s is situated in an historic area. Very clean and stocked well with items for home improvement. Ample parking, with security cameras situated in parking lot.

  • carlos gonzalez

In and out. Got some lumber ,some ready mix, and a gallon flooring adhesive. Great prices and very courteous personal. I recommend it for the do it yourselfers.

  • Ronald Noack

Don't go to Lowes much, I'm a Homedepot fan. This trip Lowes had what we wanted, friendly help that knew where everything was. The checkout crew were freindly.

  • Omar Trevino

I don't know why they say they have a veterans discount. I bought some lumber and they would not honor the discount. I am registered with them as a member.

  • Gonzalo Castillo

The staff here is always eager to help you find just what you need. Love the friendliness of the staff. My favorite store to shop all things home related

  • Garry Gipner

If you had $6 I would have given it five out of six and I had five stars so I gave it for a I guess there's just no way to ever make it over the top

  • Mung-Lun Yuen

I was looking for a replacement part for my burner and the staff was able to direct me to the right shelf with the right part. It was very helpful!

  • carlos Rodriguez

Had to get in line 3 times. Had to take picture of what's on sale because register person has no idea. They only know what's on the computer.

  • Adam H

Irving and Jimmy "Innocent" are the worst aspect about this location. Go to The Home Depot instead. This place is just a bad copy

  • Katrina Taggart

Nice and clean store with helpful attendants. Mrs. Aggie was wonderful and made self-checkout a breeze. Recommend this store.

  • Sara Kevresian

Very Clean, staff always ready to help. 4/19/2023 these containers are on sale till 4/26/2023 The location is off Austin hwy
