"Apparently you have to pay to fish here on top of your annual fishing license, and you can't be on the property at all unless you have a fishing license (I wanted to just enjoy the beauty while my significant other fished and that wasn't allowed without a fishing license)"

Apparently you have to pay to fish here on top of your annual fishing license, and you can't be on the property at all unless you have a fishing license (I wanted to just enjoy the beauty while my significant other fished and that wasn't allowed without a fishing license). Not cool, don't think we will drive back again.
Nice peaceful lake. Fishing from the bank is no good. You have to boat out to other parts of the lake to catch anything . I been there on several occasions over the span of 3 years and never have caught anything from the bank. They are closed on Tuesday so you have to use the honesty box to pay to fish.6 bucks.
Was very rude to me and another woman just cause we wanted to rent a boat. People running this place closes when it's supposed to be open, curses at people just cause he doesn't want to do his job. If this is state ran, the state needs to hire someone that actually wants to do what they are paid to do
Pay $6 for a permit per adult to fish here. Rent a boat with paddles for $10 or pay $35 & they'll add a motor. We love coming here early morning to fish off the docks and wait for the shop to open to grab snacks/drinks. You can stay on the boat all day. Caught some catfish and sunfish.
Me and my spouse drove all the way there from Clarksville there just to be told she can't be on property cause she has no fishing license. My spouse don't fish she just wanted to enjoy the day with me and read her books while I fished... Totally messed up my lunch date with my spouse.
Absolutely beautiful, and well worth the fees to fish and for the boat (which I do recommend), but really hard to fish. It’s either hit or miss. If they are biting, you can catch a bunch, but if they’re not, it’s best to just put your rod away and enjoy the scenery. More
What a beautiful area, Lake Louise you can fish & enjoy canoe rental’s or bring your own for a small fee. It’s truly beautiful and they have a boat dock & picnic tables and a great time for any family, or couple looking to get closer to nature.
TWRA managed lake that charges an access fee. Lake has panfish, bass, and catfish. Success is hit or miss. Can be a nice way to enjoy the day with your family. Boat rentals are available, but gas-powered engines are not allowed. Also no swimming.
Caught a bunch of catfish today. Most were on the small side, but kept 5 that weighed 8lb total. Bite was slow but good enough for the day with a northeast wind. Also caught an 18 lb carp. It was 32" lond and caught it on a artificial grub.
I’ve fished here since I was a kid. There use to be good size fish in here. Unfortunately it’s over fished and not sure if it’s restocked. I understand people fish, I do it every weekend. But even in the back of these fingers there’s really
My husband and I, along with our puppy, went here to fish. We rented a boat w trolling motor for only $25 , their bait is reasonably priced also. My husband is an avid fisherman and has been since he was a child. Upon his first cast he got
Over fished. If you fish there, be sure to stop at a market or restaurant on the way home if you are counting on a fish dinner. The man who fixed us up with a boat and trolling motor was paranoid about me breaking something on the trolling
This was the first pay lake that I have ever been to. I'm not usually one to go to one of these but I will say that this particular pay lake is the elite and must go to pay lake fishing spot. You can fish for catfish, bass bluegill crappie
At times you won't catch anything but a sunburn, other times is a boat load of fish. Experience is a must if you want bring in a boat load these fish are not stupid by no means it takes all your skill to fish them in and that's what I like
We have fished a lot of local places and this is one we have gone back to. Marrowbone is very lovely & never too crowded. It’s cleaner than some state parks and there are about 6 total docks/platforms to fish from. Plenty of parking & if
Awesome lake. To get away from life. Take your and enjoy the day! Never caught a fish their. But definitely a good day away from life. But you have to have a fishing license regardless if your fishing or not!
This is a pay lake. I'm not sure how much the price is since it was my buddy who paid, but there are a lot of brim and big catfish here. It's not a boat dock. You can only rent the boats they already have here More
The guy managing the store was very helpful. Beautiful lake, caught a couple trout in a couple hours, saw many in the water. Really cold with the wind though, wasn't fully prepared for that.
Beautiful lake boat rentals are cheap, you can also rent a trolling motor and anchor as well as life jackets. How ever for a stocked lake fishing is slow. At least this time of the year.
Great place to take the kids and wife to fish. No motorized boats just trolling motor. The staff is great and they have bait, tackle and boat rentals or take your own boat! More
Beautiful lake! The staff at the store are really nice and knowledgeable about the lake. My 7 year old loved fishing from the dock. Will definitely be back to fish again!
Beautiful lake. Boat rentals are ten dollars and another twenty for an outboard motor. They sell lots of bait there. Great bank fishing as well!
Great little fishing spot. Good sized lake with Friendly staff. Day use was $6 and $10 boat rental. Caught trout and lost some gear.
It is quiet. Boats are great. It is very relaxing place to fish. The men that manage this area are very kind and helpful.
Great small Lake right outside of Nashville managed by TWRA. There is a fee to use the lake lifetime licenses are exempt.
Beautiful scenery. Would caution against bass fishing from the bank though. Very easy to snag along the bottom. More
Great place to fish and bring kids. The staff is great and very knowledgeable about fishing.

Beautiful! $6 all day fishing, well worth it! We caught at least 25 fish in 3 hours. It was a great day!
We had a great time fishing! Please rent a boat because the views are absolutely stunning.
