(Translated by Google) I went to Miami-Dade County Courthouse for jury duty and the waiting room was chill, they have a snack bar, decent seats, bathrooms, water foutains, tvs with movies, and the county workers are kinda nice. I even got the chance to explore downtown Miami and it was interesting. It reminds me of why I don't like Miami no more. A city filled with toxic and bad influence and if you have a problem with parking take Uber or Lyft.
This place immediately sent my anxiety sky rocketing. When I first entered the file room, there was a lady who was a bit rude and short. She fussed a but about how short staff they were, and how she could not help me. Then a gentleman named Samuel took it upon himself to help me retrieve the files that I needed. The files were extremely old and everything had gone electronic. It took him all day because he had to continue to help the lobby as well as work on retrieving the documents I requested. He had excellent customer service and got the job done. I'm grateful that he took a moment to listen and assist with my needs as opposed to kicking me out because they were short staffed. I'm also grateful for the supervisor who allowed him to assist me and who took the time to assist in finding the documents I needed.
I wanted to thank you appreciate the clerk team and her honor judge Carmen Dominguez for looking into my case and granting me a dismissal. As a student of higher education, it's difficult work around situations like this one, but Courts Clerks office was able to respond in a timely manner through email and guide me during my case. I would suggest that in the traffic office they can have a dedicated team in their phone offices as they're individuals who cannot access digital services or the Internet, when wanting to speak to a public official . When I try to reach the phone line for the traffic office there was no operator on standby for the 3 days that I've contacted them. Do a kind clerk of the general office recommended me to write an email to them which was a quick fix to my problem.
If you work mon-fri at your own job. You expect to get things done by phone.but how can you get things done by phone if NO ONE NEVER EVER answers the phone?? Recording plays all day. This is crazy! You cannot expect people to keep call all day because we all have a life and jobs for a living. Then when you finally get a chance to go downtown. The process is so simple things could've got handled over the phone. I shouldn't have to miss time off work because people are at work and not answering customers concerns about their cases. You guys are never hiring either! What's the problem??
They have a "Public Parking" in the front that scams people. In the morning they have a sign that the rate starts at $7.00 the first hour and so on. Then after 1pm they change the sign to a more higher and confusing rate. I'm surprised they steal people in front of the Court House! I paid $50 when I was supposed to pay around $18. And the guy wanted to grab my phone when I started taking pictures. If another guy don't yell at him, he would hit me for sure. Around the corner tho, there are two "legal" parkings with $10 and $7 the Day.
4.50 for parking then. its closed. then come tomorrow again for 4.50 again. all for a 22$ ticket for being parked in front of my house and after filing motion now turned into 57$. 57$+9$=66$ for parking in front of my house like everyone else parked. Only I got the ticket. Like sunpassses aint enough.
There's hours are horrible you can't get anyone on the phone and there website is not user friendly it's like impossible to take care of your issues so that they can go to collections then they charge you 40% more than your original tickets. It's a big scam has nothing to do with justice.
Very bad service, no Spanish and Spanish spoken people never want to do their actual job in assisting doing paper work for Hispanics. The marchman act should have people assistance for filling out for the elderly and then have a nasty attitude when asking for help for the elderly to file.
I will not rate this place had court virtually. Judge was rude as hell never gave me a chance to speak other than my name asked me a question and before i could answer she holla out contempt of court all because i was driving on my way to work i dont even live in Miami
Validate your parking EARLY! They all seem to leave right before 5:00, although I can’t really blame them. Cool spot though and there are plenty of food places to walk for Lunch. If you HAVE to be here it’s not a bad spot. People were nice too.
Im american by blood Imigrant by nature but USA CITIZEN BY CHOISE. I help peolpe just like the law does eventhoug every story has its version if you need court services come here if you need extra help go the pepper building right across the court.
Beautiful architecture in this historically significant building in the heart of Miami's downtown. The building is in need of some maintenance, but overall very beautiful and a great feature of the picturesque Miami skyline (looking west to east)
I post as someone who has visited the courthouse both to admire the historical building and for work/trial. I usually park at the 109 sw 1st street parking lot which is about a 2 minute walk from the courthouse but offers $2 hourly parking
For 3 hours no one would answer the phone. What is the point of a customer service number if it is just a formality and lacks no use whatsoever. Is this the standard held for miami dade. A minimum and maximum of zero effort
While coming in and getting stuff done is not too much of a hassle if you have all your things in order, the fact that no one EVER picks up the phone in the 3 sole hours the clerk office is open is just ridiculous.
They Never pick up the phone they got an recorder voice from 2 years ago talking about the COVID so What is the point that You can't speak with someone there for information they are good for nothing
No close parking nearby that the court house provides....I was wearing my knee brace and I had to walk up those 20 stairs to get into the court house....my experience was awful …
NOBODY ANSWERS their phone, is only voice mail after voice mail!!! THE COVID was in 2020, is 2022 now. Please is about time to get back to work, your salary is paid with our taxes.
Zona tutt'attorno pulita e presenza di polizia sui 4 angoli ....... vietato fotografare loro......non sono entrato in quanto ci sono da fare controlli......Old and Storich Building
Visited the Historic Courthouse for jury duty. Helpful staff. Jury waiting room was comfortable while I waited to be called/dismissed. Clean restrooms. Places to eat near by.
If you have jury duty: The waiting room is chill, they have a snack bar, decent seats, bathrooms, water fountians, tvs with movies, and the county workers are nice people
This what it looks like to call them at the number listed ...over 2hrs on hold...clear out your day and go in person and bring a lucky item you may need it. …
If I could rate no stars, I would! I've called hundreds of times. And every time, I am never able to speak to someone.... Its always "call back at a later time"
On a number of occassions I have called your office, and no one has picked up the phone. All i need is information about quit claim deeds. This is very urgent.
The phone they have dose not work you only talk to operator, they need to have a number where I can speak to a human about my troubles. Need to work on this
In my experience, not very good ... I had many things that I could not solve. The treatment is very bad.the bar association, They treat you very badly.
Cant even call them because a shortage of money whats the point of paying taxes if we cant call when we need to ask a question regarding a case.
Guess we just pay these guys out of generosity now a days where do I apply! Don’t expect anyone to actually answer a phone covid might be on it
What a beautiful building and awesome scenery outside all around it! God Bless you all in Jesus name Amen!
Very warm staff. Helpful. Miami downtown feels like family. We appreciate it.❤✌️ …
The guy in the front desk is really nice and patient! He is so helpful and he deserves 10 stars
Service is excellent, resolved problems that presented to the employees of Court Cloclerk.
Parqueadero muy costoso. El juez no llegó a la hora. La atención al público aceptable
Horrible I can't stand Florida they are horrible and they want you to get things done
They are really helpful here. Love the clerks here and how down to earth they feel.
Unless you know where you are going, it can be confusing to navigate
Such a cool building. Also I think my parents got divorced here...
how many times does a person have to call to get someone to answer
Rude people here. Trying help someone and she bit my head off.
The heart of the city. Friendly people. Without temptation.
The best place to fix your own problem
