DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT MICHAEL HILL. CENTER STONE FELL OUT 3 DIFFERENT TIMES IN 4 YEARS. CHEAP COMPANY. CHEAP RINGS I've been married 4 years and my center stone has fallen off my diamond ring 3 times in 4 years. THREE TIMES. Immediately after my honeymoon my center stone disappeared. I hadn't even been married for 2 months and I already had to give my diamond ring back to this company to get the center stone replaced. After not having my ring for months it was finally returned to me, at that point I was pregnant and wore the ring 2 months before I couldn't anymore. This year, again this cheaply made $5000 diamond ring lost it's center stone yet again. I returned back to the store, I was met with disbelief that this happened by the manager, she said she's never seen this before (found out later this was a lie). It was replaced, and given back and I swear within months of the second replacement MY CENTER STONE DISAPPEARED AGAIN. I have never in my life heard of this happening ONE time. Let alone 3 times!!!! When I returned with my ring for the 3rd time, I asked if I could switch it for an entirely new ring since this one seems to be clearly faulty, well the same manager who "never had this happen before" said maybe after the 4th time they will replace the entire ring as that's what happened the last time she had this same situation happen. So apparently I'm not the only one this has happened to... and it's not just my ring design. At first I was impressed with Michael Hill's lifetime diamond warranty but having a ring from them for 4 years now and having to deal with their bullshit I realize why they have this lifetime warranty.... it's because their rings are absolute garbage. The second time it happened I asked them to put extra prongs on it because I did not want to return again with a broken diamond ring, and let's also be clear the center stone was not the only stones to ever come off this ring. At least 2-3 small stones have come off as well, but not a big deal when they're less noticeable. They did not add 1 single extra prong because "it was fine the way it was." Well guess what, it most certainly WAS NOT and now that it's happened 3 times, now they're refusing to replace the center diamond. Claiming inspections should be done every 6 months or when their garbage ring falls apart they won't fix it. It's a nice way to get around having to fix your crappy rings and diamonds. Hide behind your policies and inspections when you know very well you should be fixing this ring and returning it to me in pristine condition. How is it that my lack of inspections were fine to replace my diamond in March but not in September?? The ring was in my possession for less than 6 months before your diamond fell out again.... i didn't even have a chance to come and get it inspected before it fell out again!!? So what exactly changed between getting my ring back and having the center stone fall out again? I'm confused. Why was it ok to fix the second time but now the 3rd time it isn't.. It's the same inspections you're looking at... The fact that you had the nerve to ask me for $2000 to replace the diamond that you cannot secure on adequately blows my mind. At this point every single prong has broken off yet you gave me a ring without adding more prongs like I asked and now you refuse to fix it once it's fallen off AGAIN. disgusting. If you think I'm spending another penny at your store, think again. I will never in my life shop at any Michael Hill again and I hope whoever is reading this decides to spend their hard earned money elsewhere because it really is not worth the money your gonna spend and the headache of having to deal with this repeatedly if it happens to you. The ring has been off my finger more than it's been on my finger these last 4 years and somehow it still fell apart 3 times! I'm waiting for your call Josh. Been a week and manager has yet to reach out.

I found it weird no one came to serve me or even help me, perhaps they were upset that I had come in so late and they were eager to go home I dont know.... but finally I grabbed the attention of the manager "Tommy" Tommy was less then enthused to serve me and treated me like I was a window shopper wasting his time. He hinted that I might find something less opulent else where. Perhaps it was cause I was in my work clothes and wasn't fully presentable I don't know. Any ways thankfully there is no shortage of jewelry stores in town so I was able to get excellent service elsewhere.

I finally got another ring as the one they were trying to fix was so damaged by there repair company that there was no other choice. As well I bought a band for my thumb and they sent it out twice to size it and both times came back wrong . My daughter ordered her wedding bands and her ring as well as her fiancés came back wrong sized and it’s 1 month before they get married . We will never deal with this horrible company again.

I have always had a great experience at this jeweller. The other day, I just went in looking at rings and jewellery with no expectation to buy anything and I actually left with a necklace for my mom due to Mother’s Day and a few rings for myself and they gave me exceptional service. Aparna and Tommy had the best customer service I have ever had at any jeweller. I would recommend this to bride and grooms to be and any body shopping around for signature pieces to add some flare to any kind of outfit. Even their other employees are very kind, friendly, and warm. They don’t talk to me as if I’m a sale, they talk to me just like I am a regular person in normal conversation.

I paid for a plan to resize/refinish my ring as needed, and Michael Hill cant or wont honor that commitment. Upon stating that I disliked the service I have received, Tommy the manager told me I've been treated fine and "its out of his hands" and "good luck" getting a replacement in the proper finish which is at best subpar for management. 0/10 would not suggest this location.

The whole staff, especially the manager, Tommy, was so welcoming and wonderful to talk to. They answered all my questions and concerns, I felt extremely comfortable and cared for. There was no pressure to buy, they just wanted me to be happy with my decision. I picked out a beautiful engagement ring and they made my whole experience a lot less stressful than I was expecting. Will continue to go see Tommy at Place d’Orléans, I highly recommend him if you have any jewelry needs!

I brought my exspencive watch to this business to get a battery replaced (not wanting to trust the average Jeweler to do the job as I should be). Awesome friendly customer service. The wonderful woman filled out the form to get it sent away to have a professional look at it. The receipt was very detailed, with a pic of my watch and other info like model and numbers on the watch and she asked me if I wanted to add any other info. They made my day. Blessings

Fantastic experience! I have had a ring cleaned and diamond replaced as well as a recent purchase of a necklace with custom engraving. Every visit I am made to feel important and they really listen to what I need and want. My budget is always respected and they put as much time and caring into every person who walks in their doors. This includes the times I am not there to shop but just to drool over their gorgeous jewelry.
