Front Office: 3 Stars Edgar & Moving Crew: 5 Stars, maybe even 6 Stars My wife had reached out to several moving companies to get estimates for our move from our Chicago condo to our new home in the suburbs. There was quite a bit of back and forth with the front office to come to an agreement on a rate and quote of charges for a move which was frustrating and almost had us going with a different moving company. Eventually we were able to come to an agreement on an hourly rate and some miscellaneous items that we thought would need special care and booked with Moovers. Come the day of moving, Edgar and crew gave us a heads up call and arrived on time and got to work right away. I have to commend them on their efficiency and handling our stuff with care. Our move ended up only taking 5 hours opposed to the original 10 hours or so that we had been quoted. Pretty fantastic as you do get charged hourly. Once they had finished unloading the last item. Edgar walked us through the proposal charges in detail and worked with us to dispute unnecessary charges for a 2nd truck which wasn't used and packing material for our dining table which should have been just charged for a standard 60 inch round table and materials. Talk about honest and detail oriented. Edgar's leadership and transparency made for a very smooth and efficient moving day. While I didn't particularly care for dealing with front office and management, I really hope they consider moving Edgar into the front office or manager position at some point in the future. They could really use someone that is clear in communication and could probably do a much better job of providing a more accurate quote. Anyhow, I would definitely consider and recommend using Moovers specifically for Edgar and his team. That's all I got on this one. 'Til next time, cheers!

Enrique, Juan and Victor actually made moving a stress free experience. I had a 300 lb (!) island that I had to move from a high rise with an elevator to a 4 floor walk up. 4 floors, 8 flights of thin stairs where they had to bring this as well as everything else in my 1 bedroom. They packed everything up pretty quickly and securely and took note of even the tiniest item to make sure nothing was lost. All this was done in 5 hours with only 3 people. Another company estimated my move for 8 hours with 4 people at a much higher cost. Needless to say, I’m happy with Moovers and will definitely use them again in the future. I would also like to thank Mark and Moses for coordinating everything and making things nice and easy. Updated to add 2nd move: Carlos, Juan and Vlad did an amazing job with my move. I hurt my back recently so I really couldn't do much aside from just throwing things in tote boxes. They packed everything else, disassembled and reassembled my large furniture, and brought everything down 4 flights of stairs. I have no idea how they did 6 straight hours of intense manual labor. This is my second time using Moovers and I've been very happy both times. The price is reasonable and well worth it for a truly hassle free move.

The people on the phone are really nice, but the movers are a toss up. The supervisor of the crew I hired threw a fit about the canvas bags I had for moving. When I booked the appointment on the phone, I mentioned I planned to use these and they assured me it would be alright. I got the feeling it was less about the bags and more about the guy having an issue conducting business with a young female. Long story short he refused to move anything and left. Thankfully I was able to hire someone else on the spot. MOOVERS offered to send me another crew, but the damage had already been done. They said they would check the audio to follow up with the incident at least. *edit* Again, I was assured the canvas bags would not be an issue, and when I touched base with someone from moovers while the issue was happening, they reiterated it should not have been a big deal and that I would simply have to sign a waiver. This did not happen. Again, it seemed like the movers in question just had a personal problem with me specifically. It is good that it is recorded so you can hear for yourself.

I just worked with Moovers for the second time in two months (we had to put our things in storage while we had renovation work done). Both experiences were great, the team was on time (actually a little early), and easy to work with, and their pricing is fair, I would say even a great deal given the amazing level of service. Today's move was with Enriqué, Juan, and Victor, and it honestly might have been the best moving experience I have ever had. They are quick, efficient, careful and organized. I said multiple times during the day that I couldn't have asked for more, this team is awesome. For what is usually a stressful day, they really show up and make the experience as stress-less as possible. We even had to hurry a little toward the end because someone else had booked the elevator in our building and they all had a great attitude, we hustled as a team and got it done. If you are looking for a moving company, don't call around, just book with Moovers and know you are in good hands!

I couldn’t be more satisfied with my choice to hire them. From beginning to end, they handled everything smoothly, quickly and left me without any anxiety leading up to my moving date. Their customer service over the phone was kind, professional and quick. They checked back in with me a few days before to make sure they had answered any questions I might have had. The crew showed up punctually this morning and immediately got started. They were extremely thorough and fassst with securing and wrapping furniture as well. I didn’t even know my dining table could dissemble until they showed me. Pieces I normally get anxious about, had me at ease this round. I had been stressing over the size of my couch for weeks, but Jose A., Luis F. and Gregorio found a solution. Instead of giving up on my couch not fitting, they realized we could fit it through my window. Quite impressive. I just can’t go on enough about how well they put my stress at ease. Hire these guys! Absolutely recommend!!! We've used them twice, once to move, and a few weeks ago, to pack and move our stuff, and both times have been wonderful! Specific shout out to Edgar, Abner, Lino, and Gabriel for doing such an amazing job! Every item in the house was wrapped and packed carefully, not a single thing was broken (I've unpacked most boxes now, all of the delicate ones, and there are no issues). Furniture was wrapped and padded to avoid damage, and they asked questions whenever necessary to make sure things were done in a way that we were comfortable with. It was a long couple of days packing and moving, but they were such troopers! We can't thank them enough for their hard work and attention to detail. We've had bad experiences with moving in the past, but I'm happy to say that both times we've used Moovers there have been no issues and they put the utmost care into their work! They truly care about their work and try their best to make moving a low-stress process!

We just moved today and our Moovers were an amazing team! Enrique, Juan M., Alex, and Gerardo were just top notch guys to work with and super professional! We had SO MUCH stuff to move, two locations for pick up, and every step of the way they handled it with pride and care. Enrique was super great with answering questions and explaining things for us, and he went above and beyond to ensure our items were packed properly and safely while even making sure our plants and other special needs (including a giant glass cabinet, pictured) were taken care of! If we move again, we will be calling Moovers, no doubt! They made a stressful day so much easier and we cannot thank them enough! We now wish we had gotten a photo with them, they were so good!! This company was amazing in every aspect. We made the reservation with Karen, and she was just so professional. There were a lot of specifics and multiple calls back and forth, and during each call she was extremely friendly and helpful. Our movers were Juan and Rudy, we can't say enough good things about these guys. They were professional, energetic, efficient, and very courteous. They were extremely careful and mindful in the transferring and placement of our items. They had a high regard for safety. When we would tell them they could just place an item in the middle of the floor, they would come back with an offer to place the item in actually the place it should go to. And by them taking this initiative, it ultimately made our lives so much easier after they left. We highly recommend them and will most definitely be using them again in the future. The Moovers Chicago crew is top notch! I worked with Jon to get an estimate. He answered all my questions, made great suggestions, and followed up with the foreman to ensure we had the right tools to take my bed frame apart. The day of the move I had Rene, Gerardo and Sebastian. Rene called to give me an ETA and arrived on time. They were incredibly organized, accommodating, friendly, and worked efficiently as a team. I moved a lot of items into storage. They packed the unit perfectly with some room to spare. They also noted and remembered to put a few items at the front of the unit so I could easily access them when I need to. I could not recommend this business and crew enough! After having used a different moving company previously, I didn't have high hopes going forward. However, Moovers was the way to go!! I had Rene, Miguel, and Abner as my movers and they were awesome! They were earlier than scheduled, they asked for a walk through to know everything they were taking, and they were ready to get the ball rolling. Everything was wrapped so well, and they were so quick and efficient. Once at our home, they placed everything in their correct place, and even staged some of it. Cleaned up all their materials and it was done. It was an estimated 6hr job and they got it done in 5hr 15min. These guys did not come to play around. I'm very happy I didn't take the cheap route, and actually went on quality service. I know who I'll be using in the future! Thanks Moovers!

From the first call, until the last box was placed carefully in our new home everyone from MOOvers Chicago were a pleasure to deal with. Moses spent the time to help put together a detailed and accurate estimate and help arrange the Chicago No Parking placards. The Team of MOOvers showed up on time and ready to work, strapping multiple boxes to their backs and hauling them down 3 flights of stairs. Shrink wrapping all the furniture to ensure no damage would occur. In the new house, they put down runners to help protect the floor, reassembled the bed and other larger furniture. These guys worked hard! All the while maintaining a cheerful attitude and helping us wherever needed. I hope to never move again, but if I do, I will certainly call MOOvers!

I founds Moovers Chicago on yelp. I decided to call this moving company because they are both family owned and a local business. From start to finish it was a great experience. Costumer service representatives were extremely patient and very knowledgeable. My movers were Enrique, Juan, and Alex. They arrived within the estimated window, and moved all of the belonging from the house to the storage unit with great reverence and care. All three gentlemen were extremely kind and courteous. Enrique, Juan, and Alex displayed professionalism and great expertise. They were also very organized and extremely fast. I would definitely use Moovers Chicago again and I would specifically request Enrique, Juan, and Alex.

Moovers Chicago were quick and responsive with scheduleding. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Chicagoland area looking to make sure their move is quick, easy, and all their items are moved safely. Inventorying my items was fairly easy and straightforward using their tool. On moving day they recieved early within the one hour window I was provided. We started around 830am and actually got done with the move around 230pm, much faster than I expected! Had a great experience using Moovers. This was the second time I've used them and they've done a great job both times. This most recent time, Rene, Hipolito + Benito were the Movers who serviced my move and they were extremely professional, kind and hard working. They handled everything with care and went about their business highly efficiently. I really appreciated how much they hustled while working - and we lived on the 4th floor of a walk up apartment and they were really cruising! All of my items arrived to my house in the suburbs undamaged and they even helped me with set up. Would definitely recommend using Moovers to anyone.

We moved from the city to the suburbs the morning after a major snowstorm. Communication before and during the storm was superb. Despite a foot of snow on the ground and closed roads, Moovers showed up on time. Our team of Edgar, Gregorio, Edwin, and Adjay were polite, friendly, and efficient. They moved our stuff to a townhouse AND a storage unit, and despite the weather they were finished sooner than expected. They had plenty of extra supplies on the truck to wrap and protect items. None of our stuff was damaged in any way. We have only great things to say about our team and Moovers in general. Would definitely use them again.

From the estimate and booking/confirmation interactions with Moses to the outstanding move service provided by Enrique, Aldo, Alex and Max everything was easy and smooth! Moses and his team are FANTASTIC! I cannot recommend them enough for any moving needs. A few years ago, the company who delivered my couch to my apartment building was adamant that the couch would not fit in the freight elevator, and left me with no additional options or help. Then I found Moovers Chicago and they fit it in the elevator with ease. I now only trust them, so when I moved this past weekend, they were my first call and were extremely prompt and timely, quick and efficient and so helpful. I will never use or recommend another moving company in Chicago! Had such a positive experience.

Called Moovers literally the day before I needed them and they came through. We were driving from across the country and unsure of our arrival date. We just needed two movers to unload our truck and they made it happen! The movers they sent were professional and efficient. They were careful with everything and did not break anything which can happen in a move even under the best circumstances. I had called other companies as we but none of the others were as quick and courteous in calling back. I will be using them again. Very positive experience which, let’s face it, is sadly rare these days.

My experience with Moovers Chicago was excellent, better than expected based on past moves with other companies. From the start, dealing with Moses in reserving our move was easy. He was extremely professional and quickly got back to me on my questions. Their pricing was competitive. The team that showed up for the move - Chris, Juvenal & Miguel - were very professional & efficient, yet friendly. They were very careful with our furniture and boxes, and they worked quickly in unloading and setting up everything. I would gladly use this company again, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Moovers. Everyone we interacted with in that company was friendly, patient and helpful. The movers were on-time, professional, polite, and very fast. We had 2 trucks-worth of heavy, solid oak furniture we were moving to a family member's house (including a piano). What would have taken us months and several U-Haul rentals took the Moovers about 4 hours. Side note: Based on all of these 5-star reviews, I was convinced this is one of those companies that begs people to post reviews, but (so far at least) they haven't asked me to do that.

Working with Moovers has been one of the easiest parts of an otherwise exhausting move. Karen was very helpful in getting the quote together and everything scheduled. Of course the most important thing was the move itself, and in that we can't say enough wonderful things about about the crew of René, Gregorio, and Anthony. Moses helped me quickly book and confirm the move, and clearly answered all of my questions on logistics and pricing. The pricing was fair and without any surprises. The day of the move team - Jorge, Carnell, and Felipe - were very efficient but careful with our items. Our move came in faster than estimated with no items broken or damaged at all. Enrique, Alex, and Miguel were great to work with - very efficient yet precise, and did a great job maneuvering around walls and crevices as to not damage the interior. Total price came in below estimate as not as much time was needed, and I appreciated the honesty from the crew. They also were great to work with when some unexpected challenges came up at the new building around construction/parking. They solved all the problems! Hopefully I’m not moving again soon but whenever I move next in Chicago, they’ll be the ones I call!

This may be biased, but I was hired on as an asset in early July. I worked within corporate America for a VERY LONG time. I've never worked for a small business like this or even understood the concept of logistics. I thought I knew the true meaning of customer service, and then I came here. I have never met a business owner(s) who has cared about putting the customer first more than this. They put every new employee through tough training to ensure best-in-class service. I am so glad to be a part of an operation like this.

I would highly recommend this company! First off, Moses handling the quote/confirmation of services was fantastic. The communication was super clear and got not one, but two reminders in the two days that preceded the move. The day of, a crew composed by Jorge Ortiz (foreman), Arath M and Joseph F were incredibly strong, accurate and fast. The price paid for a six hour move was absolutely worth it as they provided a great service and trust me, moving FROM a third floor apartment TO a third floor apartment was no easy feat.

Enrique, Juan and Victor helped me with my move and it went very smoothly. They were responsive, flexible and professional. It was a great experience. Nella and Karen in the office helped me schedule and prepare for the move, and answered all of my questions. I took advantage of the reusable plastic totes that Moovers offers. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the totes were sturdy, stackable and came with a couple of dollies which made it easy to move them around my place as I packed.

I love them so much. Alex, Enrique and Bryan helped us so much. I forgot the last guy’s name but he was also great as well. They were very professional, and they made sure our furniture was extra padded and safe. They finished earlier than expected and they were so nice!! I gave them a hug after because they did such a really good job. They were so helpful. We didn’t even have to help because they said it was too heavy for us! I loved their service! Please give them a raise!!!!

Moovers is great! We were stuck with furniture delivered and in our garage. The other moving company wouldn’t bring it in the house. We called Moovers and spoke to Karen. As a grad student, hiring movers is a pretty big expense but I am so happy I did. Alex and Enrique were the best and moved me out of my old apartment and into my new apartment in less than 90 minutes! They were friendly, professional, and extremely organized. They made moving easy!

Great company helped me move twice in two weeks. First team consisting of *Carlos, Daniel, and Vladislav* was excellent and very helpful! Second team was *Felipe V, Guillermo, and William* were also very fast and helpful! Very pleased and highly recommend them and this company.
